The present study is devoted to the investigation of fine air bubbles effect on sound propagation in thin-walled elastic tube with compressible polymeric liquid and cylindrical elastic rod in the central part of the tube. The problem formulation and solution method follow the previous paper of the authors (S.P. Levitsky, R.M. Bergman, J. Haddad, Sound dispersion in deformable tube with polymeric liquid and elastic central rod, Journal of Sound and Vibration 275 (1-2) (2004) 267-281). In order to account for the bubbles' influence on sound dispersion and attenuation, dynamic equation of state of the mixture, formulated within homogeneous approximation, is used. It is assumed that the volume gas concentration is small. The resulting dispersion equation for the waveguide with viscoelastic liquid-gas mixture is studied in a long-wave range. Results of simulations illustrate the influence of free gas concentration, bubble radius and rheological properties of the liquid on sound dispersion and attenuation in the system.  相似文献

Del Grosso's [Acustica 24, 299-311 (1971)] formulation, which predicts the phase speed of propagating axisymmetric modes inside a liquid-filled tube, is here extended to the complex domain in order to predict the attenuation, as well as the sound speed, of the modes as a function of frequency. Measurements of the sound speeds and the attenuations of the modes were performed in a water-filled Poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) tube of internal radius, b=4.445 cm, in the range of the wavenumber-radius product, k(1)b, from 2 to 10. Parts of three or four modes were investigated and the measured sound speeds and the damping of the modes were compared with the theoretical predictions. The theory was then used to estimate the modal sound speeds and attenuations in a stainless-steel pipe filled with mercury having the same dimensions as are used in the Spallation Neutron Source at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Tennessee.  相似文献

为研究多管脉冲爆轰发动机爆轰噪声传播过程及声波物理特性,对单管至四管脉冲爆轰发动机爆轰噪声物理特性开展实验研究,获得了多管脉冲爆轰发动机爆轰噪声的波形、声压衰减规律、辐射特性、持续时间和频谱特性等物理参数。结果表明:在管口区域,爆轰噪声峰值衰减较快,在远离管口区域,衰减速率逐渐放缓。随着爆轰管数量的增加,爆轰峰值噪声在各方位角上的声压级逐渐增大。在远场区域内爆轰噪声指向性图呈“M”形。随着爆轰管数量的增加,爆轰噪声的A/B持续时间均增加。爆轰噪声是能量主要集中在中低频段的宽频噪声,其频谱峰值和峰值所在频点随爆轰管数量的增加而改变。   相似文献

A retarding structure that allows the effective admittance of a tube wall to increase smoothly along the tube axis is considered. The sound velocity gradually decreases along a finite segment of the tube and finally vanishes at some cross section. The time of the sound propagation along this segment is infinitely long. A wave incident on the input cross section cannot reach the other end of the tube within a finite time, and, hence, it is not reflected from it. The wave is completely absorbed, the absorption being caused by the energy accumulation in the cross section where the velocity of sound vanishes, rather than by the energy transformation to heat, as in common sound absorbers. A differential equation is obtained to describe the sound propagation in a one-dimensional waveguide with a varying cross section and varying acoustic admittance of the walls. The solutions to this equation are analyzed in the WKB approximation. An exact solution is determined for the case of some specific functions describing the variations of the cross section and admittance. Calculated results for the input admittance of the waveguide are presented. A possible similarity to the problem of shear waves in sea sediments is pointed out.  相似文献

声纳系统或水声设备湿端不可避免存在某些散射体,克服散射体干扰对声源本身辐射特性进行测量目前还缺乏简捷有效的方法。依据刚性圆盘散射规律,通过有限元建模分析了与观察方向平行布设的刚性圆盘对声源辐射特性的影响规律,结果表明:在满足远场条件时,在较小的允许误差范围内观察轴线上声压幅值分布与引入平行障板无关。并在此基础上尝试提出一种简捷有效的平行障板方法,实现散射条件下声源分离与参数获取。通过有限元仿真分析,在1~20kHz频率范围内,半径0.4m厚8mm的钢板对脉动圆管声源级分离测量引入误差在±0.6dB以内。  相似文献

If the speed of sound were vastly larger in the early Universe, a near scale-invariant spectrum of density fluctuations could have been produced even if the Universe did not submit to conventional solutions to the horizon problem. We examine how the mechanism works, presenting full mathematical solutions and their heuristics. We then discuss several concrete models based on scalar fields and hydrodynamical matter that realize this mechanism, but stress that the proposed mechanism is more fundamental and general.  相似文献

The scattering of spin-polarized electrons in an Aharonov-Bohm vector potential is considered. We solve the Pauli equation in 3 + 1 dimensions taking into account explicitly the interaction between the three-dimensional spin magnetic moment of electron and magnetic field. Expressions for the scattering amplitude and the cross section are obtained for spin-polarized electron scattered off a flux tube of small radius. It is also shown that bound electron states cannot occur in this quantum system. The scattering problem for the model of a flux tube of zero radius in the Born approximation is briefly discussed.  相似文献

接收球半径是采用声线跟踪法进行声场预测的一个重要参数。以前所用到的接收球半径一般是通过经验估计得到的,缺乏详细的理论分析。本文从声波传播机理角度分析了根据声线密度来确定接收球半径的原因,并推导了矩形闭空间中声线密度和接收球半径的计算方法。声线密度可以通过原始声线数目,声场空间体积与形状,边界吸声系数来确定。在一给定闭空间里,声线密度可看作是均匀分布的,所以接收球半径与空间位置无关,可看作是一个常数。但对不同的声场空间来说,由于空间体积、形状和吸声系数的变化,声线密度是不同的,因此接收球半径也会不同。声线密度越大,接收球半径越小;声线密度越小,接收球半径越大。实验表明,所提出的接收球模型能用来较准确地预测闭空间里的声压级和混响时间等声学参数。  相似文献

针对随机阵列结构设计方面欠缺高效的生成方法这一问题,在保证阵列对声源识别精度的前提下,提出一种在极坐标下用于识别运动声源的随机阵列生成方法。根据声阵列识别运动声源的原理,推导了非等间距基本同轴圆环的半径,再通过降列分区、极坐标下条件筛选和模拟评价三个步骤,生成适用于识别运动声源的目标随机阵列,最后进行数值模拟和运动汽车噪声源识别实验进行验证。研究结果表明,用该方法能够高效地生成目标随机阵列,与常用规则阵列相比具有更良好的声源识别特性,并且具有准确的运动声源识别性能。   相似文献

A physical and a mathematical models of the dolphin’s source of echolocation clicks have been recently proposed. The physical model includes a bottle of pressurized air connected to the atmosphere with an underwater rubber tube. A compressing rubber ring is placed on the underwater portion of the tube. The ring blocks the air jet passing through the tube from the bottle. This ring can be brought into self-oscillation by the air jet. In the simplest case, the ring displacement follows a repeated triangular waveform. Because the acoustic pressure gradient is proportional to the second time derivative of the displacement, clicks arise at the bends of the displacement waveform. The mathematical model describes the dipole oscillations of a sphere “frozen” in the ring and calculates the waveform and the sound pressure of the generated clicks. The critical parameters of the mathematical model are the radius of the sphere and the peak value and duration of the triangular displacement curve. This model allows one to solve both the forward (deriving the properties of acoustic clicks from the known source parameters) and the inverse (calculating the source parameters from the acoustic data) problems. Data from click records of Odontocetes were used to derive both the displacement waveforms and the size of the “frozen sphere” or a structure functionally similar to it. The mathematical model predicts a maximum source level of up to 235 dB re 1 μPa at 1-m range when using a 5-cm radius of the “frozen” sphere and a 4-mm maximal displacement. The predicted sound pressure level is similar to that of the clicks produced by Odontocetest.  相似文献

实验室中水声材料声学参数的测量主要在水声声管中进行。管内平面波声速是正确测量这些参数的基础。该文提出一种基于四水听器结合不同边界的测量充水弹性管中声速的新方法。该方法利用4个固定位置处的水听器,采用最小二乘的方法,使得两组水听器分别得到的声管末端入射波声压差值的平方最小的声速即为管内平面波声速。该方法利用单频信号,在每一频率点均可测得声速,可以在任一种声管末端边界下进行测量,同时无需知道各水听器到边界的精确距离,在文中的3种边界下声速测量结果具有很好的一致性,实验操作简单、误差很小。该方法的仿真结果与管内声速的理论值吻合得很好,同时实验测量结果与仿真值之间的误差很小,证明了方法的准确性以及鲁棒性,为声管声速测量提供一个很好的思路。  相似文献

In this paper a model theory is demonstrated by which it is possible to determine the load capacity of a wall including an electric arc. This theory bases on exact numerical computations of the temperature distribution inside the wall of a toroidal arc tube. It is shown and explained that the thermal load capacity increases with the radius of curvature at fixed tube radius and decreases with the tube radius at fixed radius of curvature.  相似文献

A theoretical investigation on the structural and elastic properties of ZnO nanotubes is carried out by using atomistic calculations based on an inter-atomic pair potential within the shell-model approach. The calculation results are presented for the bond length, bond angle, radius dilation, strain energy, Young modulus and Poisson ratio as a function of tube radius. For small tube radius these properties depend on the helicity of the tube, while for the tube radius larger than 6.0A, they are independent of the tube radius and helicity except for the strain energy which decreases with increasing tube radius.  相似文献

为了揭示管束穿孔板共振吸声结构的吸声机理,利用热黏性条件下基于有限元算法的管束穿孔板仿真模型,研究了平面声波正入射条件下,管束穿孔板内部声场分布特征,并利用阻抗管对吸声系数的理论仿真结果进行了试验验证.结果表明,管束穿孔板在低频主要靠腔体共振吸声,在高频主要靠管共振吸声,管束穿孔板整体呈现出较为明显的管腔耦合共振吸声特征。管束穿孔板共振时管中声强和质点法向振速较大,高频次吸声峰频点处管中和腔中均有驻波形成,频率越高驻波数量越多.管束穿孔板的耦合共振受到管长、腔深、穿孔率和管内径等参数变化的影响,管长对高频耦合共振的影响最大,管长增大使高频主吸声峰频点移向低频,并使相邻主吸声峰之间的间距减小.   相似文献

The aim of this paper is to investigate the acoustic performance of sound absorbing materials through a numerical wave based prediction technique. The final goal of this work is to get insight into the acoustic behavior of a combination of sound absorbing patches. In order to address a wide frequency range, a model based on the Trefftz approach is adopted. In this approach, the dynamic field variables are expressed in terms of global wave function expansions that satisfy the governing dynamic equations exactly. Therefore, approximation errors are associated only with the boundary conditions of the considered problem. This results in a computationally efficient technique. The main advantage of this method is the fact that the sound absorbing patches do not have to be locally reacting. In this article, the wave based method is described and experimentally validated for the case of normal incidence sound absorption identification in a standing wave tube. Afterwards, the method is applied to simulate some interesting setups of absorbing materials.  相似文献

Invariant operator method for discrete or continuous spectrum eigenvalue and unitary transformation approach are employed to study the two-dimensional time-dependent Pauli equation in presence of the Aharonov-Bohm effect (AB) and external scalar potential. For the spin particles the problem with the magnetic field is that it introduces a singularity into wave equation at the origin. A physical motivation is to replace the zero radius flux tube by one of radius R, with the additional condition that the magnetic field be confined to the surface of the tube, and then taking the limit R → 0 at the end of the computations. We point that the invariant operator must contain the step function θ(r - R). Consequently, the problem becomes more complicated. In order to avoid this dimculty, we replace the radius R by ρ(t)R, where ρ(t) is a positive time-dependent function. Then at the end of calculations we take the limit R →0. The qualitative properties for the invariant operator spectrum are described separately for the different values of the parameter C appearing in the nonlinear auxiliary equation satisfied by p(t), i.e., C 〉 0, C = 0, and C 〈0. Following the C's values the spectrum of quantum states is discrete (C 〉 0) or continuous (C ≤ 0).  相似文献

In this letter, to improve the acoustic impedance measurement in a tube using the two-microphone method, a sound source technique is developed that is capable of generating incident sound waves of uniform intensity over the entire frequency range of interest. The basic principle is to use a digitally synthesized compensation input signal to achieve a flat response of the sound source provided by one or more loudspeakers. The present sound source technique has been demonstrated to be very effective and easily implemented with the current impedance tube testing systems.  相似文献

In this paper, the relation between the ambient radius R(0) of the acoustic cavitation bubble and its driving pressure was investigated by an improved method. The evolution of the bubble was gained with a long-distance microscope and a bundle of 532 nm laser switched by an acousto-optic modulator. The ambient radius R(0) was determined by fitting the numerical calculation based on Rayleigh-Plesset equation to the experimental data. The results showed that as the sound pressure increased R(0) decreased at beginning and increased after the pressure reached to about 1.2 atm. Although the same rule was gotten from the relation between the maximum radius R(m) and the sound pressure, the ratio R(m)/R(0) varied monotonously with the sound pressure. It indicates that enhancing the sound pressure can increase the compression ratio of the bubble even if the mass inside the bubble is also increased.  相似文献
