根据法拉第磁光效应的非互易性,分析了旋光反射腔的光强输出特性,表明这种反射腔具有旋光增强效应.在此基础上提出了用于检测微小旋转角的旋光增强法,并对旋光增强器的特性进行了理论分析和仿真计算.给出了测量灵敏度随器件反射率、样品吸收因素及一次旋光角变化的关系,讨论了角度测量工作点、测量范围以及相对灵敏度理论极限问题.旋光增强器有望应用于微流控系统的旋光检测以及实现磁旋光仪器的小型化和微型化.

A new concept to realize negative refractive index in non-resonance spectrum using chiral metamaterial is proposed.A low-index metamaterial is added to diminish the effective refractive index of the combined structure.Simulation and material parameter retrieval procedures are carried out to determine material performances.Results show evidence of negative refractive index and strong optical activity in the new chiral metamaterial. 相似文献

We have numerically demonstrated chiral metamaterials based on double-layered asymmetric U-shape split ring resonators. Dual-band circular dichroism is found in the whole frequency regime from 50 to 250 THz by studying the transmission properties. Huge optical activity and the induced negative refractive index are obtained at resonance by calculating the optical activity and ellipticity of the transmitted E-fields. Chirality parameter and effective refractive index are retrieved to illustrate the tunable optical properties of the metamaterials. The underlying mechanisms for the observed circular dichroism are analyzed. These metamaterials would offer flexible electromagnetic applications in the infrared regime. 相似文献

基于流场界面厚度(Interfacial—Fluid—Thickness,IFT)理论,建立了高折射率梯度门限模型来研究气动光学窗口光传输畸变。首先在光学窗口折射率梯度场基础上,提出高折射率梯度门限,忽略绝对值低于该门限的折射率梯度值,重构折射率场,并对其气动光学传输效应进行仿真。结果表明,当58.37%的梯度值被忽略时,得到的重构折射率场与原折射率场仿真光程差(OPD)最大相对误差不超过1.5%,验证了气动光学窗口高折射率梯度区域是产生光传输畸变的主要原因,也证实了该门限模型对气动光学窗口光传输效应进行仿真的可行性,对气动光学失真的机理、预测及校正有一定的指导意义。 相似文献

The optical property of nanosized metallic particles is unique and size-dependent, which cause color variation. In this work, the relationship between diameter and refractive index of nonabsorbing metallic nanoparticles and their scattering properties is studied by using Mie theory. Obtained results indicate that the optical scattering of metallic nanoparticle depends on their refractive index and diameter. The effect of refractive index on optical scattering depends on the nanoparticle diameter. So that, for very fine nanoparticle (10 nm diameter) the effect of refractive index on scattering is not significant. But the effect of refractive index of large size nanoparticle (700–900 nm diameter) on their optical scattering is higher than fine and medium size nanoparticles. The wavelength with maximum scattering depends on refractive index and nanoparticles diameter. In addition, the colorimetric study indicates that the color of nanoparticle depends on their size and refractive index. So that, the lightness, hue, and colorfulness of nanoparticles is changed by changing size and refractive index. 相似文献

本文采用折射率面来描述光参量振荡过程的物理图象,获得了光参量振荡过程的相位匹配图象和频率调谐的简单的数学表达式,直观简洁地说明了光参量振荡器频率调谐曲线的调谐行为.我们用1.06μm和0.532μm激光泵浦β-BaB2O4(BBO)晶体,获得了角度调谐的BBO光参量振荡器的调谐范围分别为1.7~2.35μm及0.72~2.1μm,最大能量转换效率为15%,还讨论了输出能量与腔长的关系. 相似文献

The optical refractive index changes considering polaron effects in asymmetrical quantum wells are theoretically studied. It is shown that a pronounced optical refractive index changes dependence of the quantum well parameters can be obtained.
