This paper constructs a new type of finite-dimensional thermal coherent states (FDTCS), which differs from the proceeding thermal coherent state in construction, as realisations of SU(2) Lie algebra. Using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operator, it investigates the orthonormality and completeness relation of the FDTCS. Based on the thermal Wigner operator in the thermal entangled state representation, the Wigner function of the FDTCS is obtained. The nonclassical properties of the FDTCS are discussed in terms of the negativity of its Wigner function.  相似文献

By using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators, the normal ordered density operator of the photon-subtracted squeezed thermal state (PSSTS) is derived. Then the corresponding Wigner function is presented by using the coherent state representation of the Wigner operator. The nonclassical properties of the PSSTS are discussed based on the negativity of the Wigner function.  相似文献

For the density operator(mixed state) describing squeezed chaotic light(SCL) we search for its thermal vacuum state(a pure state) in the real-fictitious space. Using the method of integration within ordered product(IWOP) of operators we find that it is a kind of one- and two-mode combinatorial squeezed state. Its application in evaluating the quantum fluctuation of photon number reveals: the stronger the squeezing is, the larger a fluctuation appears. The second-order degree of coherence of SCL is also deduced which shows that SCL is classic. The new thermal vacuum state also helps to derive the Wigner function of SCL.  相似文献

The Wigner and tomographic representations of thermal Gibbs states for one- and two-mode quantum systems described by a quadratic Hamiltonian are obtained. This is done by using the covariance matrix of the mentioned states. The area of the Wigner function and the width of the tomogram of quantum systems are proposed to define a temperature scale for this type of states. This proposal is then confirmed for the general one-dimensional case and for a system of two coupled harmonic oscillators. The use of these properties as measures for the temperature of quantum systems is mentioned.  相似文献

The continuous-variable (CV) entanglement between two mesoscopic Josephson junctions is studied and the time-dependent characteristic function in Wigner representation for the Josephson junction subsystem driven by a singlemode thermal field is analytically obtained. It is found that an initial lowest energy state of the junction subsystem can evolve into a two-mode entangled Gaussian state through the interaction with the thermal radiation field. Furthermore, we investigate the influence of the temperature on the entanglement of the junctions and find that the CV entanglement of the two junctions shows the critical behavior with respect to the temperature.  相似文献

The Schrödinger equation of the mesoscopic capacitance coupled circuit with an arbitrary power source is solved by means of two step unitary transformation. The original Hamiltonian transformed to a very simple form by unitary operators so that it can be easily treated. We derived the exact full wave functions in Fock state. By making use of these wave functions and introducing the Lewis--Riesenfeld invariant operator, the thermal state have been constructed. The fluctuations of charges and currents are evaluated in thermal state. For T→ 0, the uncertainty products between charges and currents in thermal state recovers exactly to that of Fock state with n, m=0.  相似文献

In this paper, we present the density operator of the generalized squeezed thermal state (GSTS) and obtain its normal ordering form by virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators and the Weyl ordering invariance under similarity transformations. Some significant quantum statistical properties of the GSTS are investigated, such as the photon-number distribution (PND) and the Wigner function (WF). It is found that the PND of the GSTS is a Legendre polynomial, and its squeezed vacuum oscillations imply the nonclassicality, as well as the GSTS whose WF has no negative region is indeed a special type of nonclassical state.  相似文献

Based on the generalized Weyl quantization scheme, which relies on the generalized Wigner operator Ok (p, q) with a real k parameter and can unify the P-Q, Q-P, and Weyl ordering of operators in k = 1, - 1,0, respectively, we find the mutual transformations between 6 (p - P) (q - Q), (q - Q) 3 (p - P), and (p, q), which are, respectively, the integration kernels of the P-Q, Q-P, and generalized Weyl quantization schemes. The mutual transformations provide us with a new approach to deriving the Wigner function of quantum states. The - and - ordered forms of (p, q) are also derived, which helps us to put the operators into their - and - ordering, respectively.  相似文献

Taking advantage of dynamical invariant operator, we derived quantum mechanical solution of general time-dependent harmonic oscillator. The uncertainty relation of the system is always larger than ħ/2 not only in number but also in the thermal state as expected. We used the diagonal elements of density operator satisfying Leouville-von Neumann equation to calculate various expectation values in the thermal state. We applied our theory to a special case which is the forced Caldirola-Kanai oscillator.  相似文献

We investigate how displaced thermal states(DTSs) evolve in a laser channel. Remarkably, the initial DTS, an example of a mixed state, still remains mixed and thermal. At long times, they finally decay to a highly classical thermal field only related to the laser parameters κ and g. The normal ordering product of density operator of the DTS in the laser channel leads to obtaining the analytical time-evolution expressions of the photon number, Wigner function, and von Neumann entropy. Also, some interesting results are presented via numerically investigating these explicit time-dependent expressions.  相似文献

An explicit expression of the Wigner operator is derived, such that the Wigner function of a quantum state is equal to the expectation value of this operator with respect to the same state. This Wigner operator leads to a representation-independent procedure for establishing the correspondence between the inhomogeneous symplectic group applicable to linear canonical transformations in classical mechanics and the Weyl-metaplectic group governing the symmetry of unitary transformations in quantum mechanics.  相似文献

Evolution formulas of the density operator, the photon number distribution, and the Wigner function are derived for the problem on the optical fields propagation in realistic environments. Using the idea “reservoir modeled by beam splitter (BS)” and the Weyl expansion of the density operator, we obtain these formulas cleverly, which are very useful for quantum optics and quantum statistics. As an application, we study the time evolution of the photon number distribution and the Wigner function for single-photon-added coherent state in thermal environment.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce the generalized photon-modulated squeezed thermal states (GPMSTS) obtained by repeatedly acting the combination of Bosonic creation and annihilation operation on the squeezed thermal state. We investigate the nonclassical properties of GPMSTS and its decoherence in a thermal environment according to the negative region of Wigner function. It is found that the normalization factor of GPMSTS is a Legendre polynomial. Especially, the decoherence effect is discussed by deriving the time evolution of the Wigner function.  相似文献

For thermal conduction cases,one can detect the size of an object explicitly by measuring the temperature distribution around it.If the temperature is the only signature we can obtain,we will give an incorrect judgment on the shape or size of the object by disturbing the distribution of it.According to this principle,in this article,we develop a transformation method and design a dual-functional thermal device,which can create a thermal illusion thai the object inside it"seems"to appear bigger or smaller than its original size.This device can functionally switch among magnifier and minifier at will.The proposed device consists of two layers:the cloak and the complementary material.A thermal cloak can make the internal region thermally"invisible"while the complementary layer offsets this effect.The combination leads to the illusion of magnification and minification.As a result of finite element simulations,the performances of the illusions are confirmed.  相似文献

We investigate the Wigner distribution function of the general time-dependent quadratic-Hamiltonian quantum system with the Lewis–Riesenfeld invariant operator method. The Wigner distribution function of the system in Fock state, coherent state, squeezed state, and thermal state are derived. 给出了在量子物理学、量子统计学、算符排序理论、矩阵论以及控制理论中有着重要用途的复合函数算符的一般微分法则,利用这一法则研究了Wigner算符和Weyl对应规则中的积分问题,证明了两类典型的算符恒等公式.给出了Wigner算符的有序算符内的微分形式,并得到了一些重要函数的新的微分式.最后,引入了一个参数型的Wigner算符来统一正规序、Weyl编序以及反正规序三种算符排序.  相似文献
