Generation of any superposition of coherent states along a straight line via resonant atom-cavity interaction 下载免费PDF全文
This paper proposes a scheme for generating arbitrary
superpositions of several coherent states along a straight line for
a cavity mode. In the scheme, several atoms are sent through a
cavity initially in a strong coherent state. The superposition of
several coherent states with desired coefficients may be generated
if each atom is detected in the excited state after it exits the
cavity. The scheme is based on resonant atom--cavity interaction and
no classical field is required during and after the atom--cavity
interaction. Thus, the scheme is very simple and the interaction
time is very short, which is important in view of decoherence. 相似文献

We propose two schemes for the generation of cluster states in the context of cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In the first scheme, we prepare multi-cavity cluster states with information encoded in the coherent states. The second scheme is to generate multi-atom cluster states, where qubits axe represented by the states of cascade Rydberg atoms. Both the schemes axe based on the atom-cavity interaction and the atomic spontaneous radiation can be efficiently reduced since the cavity frequency is largely detuned from the atomic transition frequency. 相似文献

This paper proposes two schemes for implementing three-qubit Toffoli
gate with an atom (as target qubit) sent through a two-mode cavity
(as control qubits). The first scheme is based on the large-detuning
atom--cavity field interaction and the second scheme is based on the
resonant atom-field interaction. Both the situations with and
without cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission are considered.
The advantages and the experimental feasibility of these two schemes

A method is presented for generating highly squeezed states of a cavity field via the atom-cavity field interaction of the Raman type.In the scheme a sequence of three-level Λ-type atoms interacts with a cavity field,displaced by a classical source,in a Raman manner.Then the atomic states are measured.By this way the cavity field may collapse onto a superposition of several coherent states,which exhibits strong squeezing.The scheme can also be used to prepare superpositions of many two-mode coherent states for two cavity fields.The coherent states in each mode are on a straight line.This is the first way for preparing multi-component entangled coherent states of this type in cavity QED. 相似文献

The evolution of a system state is derived based on the nonresonant interaction of a three-level "Λ" type atom with two cavity modes at a pair coherent state and two classic fields, and a cavity field state is analysed in detail under conditional detecting. It is found that the quantized modified Bessel-Gaussian states as well as the superposition states consisting of the quantized vortex states with different weighted coefficients may be prepared through carefully preparing an initial atomic state and appropriately adjusting the interaction time. The scheme provides an additional choice to realize the two-mode quantized vortex state within the context of cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). 相似文献

分析了增光子二模纠缠相干态的纠缠特性,得到共生纠缠度的解析表示式.结果表明:增光子二模纠缠相干态的共生纠缠度与叠加态的相位有非常灵敏的关系.提出了一种制备增光子相干态和增光子二模纠缠相干态的方法,其制备过程为首先把增光子相干态转化为相干态与真空态一种特殊的叠加态(叠加系数与相干态振幅有关),再通过位于高Q腔内的原子与经典激光场的相互作用,从而实现增光子相干态的制备.通过一个飞行原子先后与两个光腔中光场相互作用可以实现增光子二模纠缠相干态的制备. 相似文献

We present a method of generating two-mode single atom
laser based on the nonresonant interaction of a three-level
Λ type atom in a two-mode cavity with three strong classical
driving fields. An analytical solution for this effective dynamics
under the presence of the cavity losses is obtained, which allow us
to analyze the entanglement properties and the photon statistics of
the two cavity modes exactly. It is also shown that the possible
generation of the two-mode entangled coherent states in the

An alternative scheme is presented for teleportation of a two-atom
entangled state in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). It is based
on the resonant atom--cavity field interaction. In the scheme, only
one cavity is involved, and the number of the atoms needed to be
detected is decreased compared with the previous scheme. Since the
resonant atom--cavity field interaction greatly reduces the
interaction time, the decoherence effect can be effectively
suppressed during the teleportation process. The experimental
feasibility of the scheme is discussed. The scheme can easily be
generalized to the teleportation of N-atom
Greeninger--Horne--Zeilinger (GHZ) entangled states. The number of
atoms needed to be detected does not increase as the number of the

An experimentally realizable physical scheme for preparing multiqubit cluster states from a large detuned atomcavity interaction is proposed. The scheme is free of any type of measurement and insensitive to the cavity decay, and the cavity field is only virtually excited so that there is no information exchanging between atom and cavity. We show how to generate bilinear (quadratic) Hamiltonians in cavity quantum
electrodynamics (QED) through the interaction of a single driven three-level
atom with two (one) cavity modes. With this scheme it is possible to
generate one-mode mesoscopic squeezed superpositions, two-mode
entanglements, and two-mode squeezed vacuum states (such the original EPR
state), without the need for Ramsey zones and external parametric
amplification. The degree of squeezing achieved is up to 99% with currently
feasible experimental parameters and the errors due to dissipative

We propose a method for the generation of superpositions of two-mode coherent states for the center-of-mass and relative vibrational modes of two trapped ions. In the scheme the ions are driven by a single travelling-wave laser field tuned to the carrier.
