In our preceding work, a class of k-quantum nonlinear coherent states, i.e., the k eigenstates of the powers B^^k (k≥3) of the annihilation operator B^ =a^ 1/f(N^) of f-oscillators, are introduced. In this paper, we introduce a new kind of higher-order squeezing and an antibunching effect. The quantum statistical properties of the k states are studied. The result shows that the M-th order [M=(n 1/2)k; n=0, 1,...] squeezing effects exist in all of the k states when k is even. There is the antibunching effect in all of the k states.  相似文献

We have considered two distant mesoscopic superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) rings A and B in the presence of two-mode nonclassical state fields and investigated the correlation of the supercurrents in the two rings using the normalized correlation function $C_{\rm AB}$. We show that when the parameter $\alpha$ is very small for the separable state with the density matrix $\hat {\rho } = (\left| {\alpha , - \alpha } \right\rangle \left\langle {\alpha , - \alpha } \right| + \left| { - \alpha ,\alpha } \right\rangle \left\langle { - \alpha ,\alpha } \right|) / 2$ and entangled coherent state (ECS) $\left| u \right\rangle = N_1 (\left| {\alpha , - \alpha } \right\rangle + \left| { - \alpha ,\alpha } \right\rangle )$ fields, the dynamic behaviours of the normalized correlation function $C_{\rm AB}$ are similar, but it is quite different for the entangled coherent state $\left| {u}' \right\rangle = N_2 (\left| {\alpha , - \alpha } \right\rangle - \left| { - \alpha ,\alpha } \right\rangle )$ field. When the parameter $\alpha $ is very large, the dynamic behaviours of $C_{\rm AB}$ are almost the same for the separable state, entangled coherent state $\left| u \right\rangle $ and $\left| {u}' \right\rangle $ fields. For the two-mode squeezed vacuum state field the maximum of $C_{\rm AB}$ increases monotonically with the squeezing parameter $r$, and as $r \to \infty $, $C_{\rm AB} \to 1$. This means that the supercurrents in the two rings A and B are quantum mechanically correlated perfectly. It is concluded that not all the quantum correlations in the two-mode nonclassical state field can be transferred to the supercurrents; and the transfer depends on the state of the two-mode nonclassical state field prepared.  相似文献

A class of k-quantum nonlinear coherent states, i.e., the k eigenstates of the powers B k (k 3) of the annihilation operator of f-oscillators, is obtained and its completeness is investigated. An alternative method to construct them is proposed. We introduce a new kind of higher-order squeezing and sub-Poissonian distribution. The quantum statistical properties of the k states are studied. The result shows that all of the eigenstates can be generated by a linear superposition of k Roy-type nonlinear coherent states. These states may form a complete Hilbert space, and the M-th order [M = (n + 1/2)k; n = 0,1, ...] squeezing effects exist in all of the k states when k is even. There is the sub-Poissonian distribution in all of the states.  相似文献

We construct a distinct category of nonclassical quantum states by applying a superposition of products (SUP) of field annihilation (\(\hat {a}\)) and creation (\(\hat {a}^{\dagger }\)) operators of the type (\(s\hat {a}\hat {a}^{\dagger }+t\hat {a}^{\dagger }\hat {a}\)), with \(s^{2}+t^{2}=1\), upon thermal and even coherent states. We allow these SUP operated states to undergo a decoherence process and then describe the nonclassical features of the resulted field by using the entanglement potential (EP) and the negativity of the Wigner distribution function. Our analysis reveals that both the measures are reduced in the linear loss process. The partial negativity of the Wigner function disappears when losses exceed 50% but EP exists always.  相似文献

In this paper the superpositions of two arbitrary coherent states |ψ〉 = α |β| + be^iψ |mβe^iδ〉 are constructed by using the superposition principle of quantum mechanics. The entropic squeezing effects of the quantum states are studied. The numerical results indicate that the amplitudes, the ratio between the amplitudes of two coherent states, the phase difference between the two components and the relative phase of the two coefficients play important roles in the squeezing effects of the position entropy and momentum entropy.  相似文献

In this paper a new class of finite-dimensional even and odd nonlinear pair coherent states (EONLPCSs), which can be realized via operating the superposed evolution operators D±(τ) on the state |q, 0), is constructed, then their orthonormalized property, completeness relations and some nonclassical properties are discussed. It is shown that the finite-dimensional EONLPCSs possess normalization and completeness relations. Moreover, the finite-dimensional EONLPCSs exhibit remarkably different sub-Poissonian distributions and phase probability distributions for different values of parameters q, η and ξ.  相似文献

The Raman-coupled interaction between an atom and a single mode of a cavity field is studied. For the cases in which a light field is initially in a coherent state and in a thermal state separately, we have derived the analytic expressions for the time evolutions of atomic population difference W, modulus B of the Bloch vector, and entropy E. We find that the time evolutions of these quantities are periodic with a period of π. The maxima of W and B appear at the scaled interaction time points τ- = kπ(k = 0, 1, 2,...). At these time points, E = 0, which shows that the atom and the field are not entangled. Between these time points, E ≠ 0, which means that the atom and the field are entangled. When the field is initially in a coherent state, near the maxima, the envelope of W is a Gaussian function with a variance of 1/(4n^-)(n^- is the mean number of photons). Under the envelope, W oscillates at a frequency of n^-/π. When the field is initially in a thermal state, near the maxima, W is a Lorentz function with a width of 1/n^-.  相似文献

We construct eight operators for a four-particle system, namely one center-of-mass coordinate operator, three relative coordinate operators, one total momentum operator and three mass-weighted relative momentum operators, and give common eigenvectors of four compatible observables , which are composed of four particles’ coordinate and momentum . By compatible we mean such observables can be simultaneously determined. Using the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, we prove that the common eigenvectors are complete and orthonormal, and hereby qualified for making up a representation.  相似文献

In this paper, by using the parity operator as well as the nonlinear displacement-type operator, we define new operators which by the action of them on the vacuum state of the radiation field, superposition of two nonlinear coherent states and two-mode entangled nonlinear coherent states are generated. Also, we show that via the generalization of the presented method, the superposition of more than two nonlinear coherent states and n-mode entangled nonlinear coherent states can be generated.  相似文献

An Alice-Bob Kadomtsev-Petviashivili (ABKP) equation with shifted-parity ($\hat{P}_s^x$ parity with a shift for the space variable $x$) and delayed time reversal ($\hat{T}_d$, time reversal with a delay) symmetries is investigated. The multi-soliton solutions with three arbitrary even or odd functions are found from the $\hat{P}_s^x\hat{T}_d$ symmetry reductions of a coupled local KP system. The result shows that for the ABKP equation with $\hat{P}_s^x\hat{T}_d$ nonlocality, the odd numbers of solitons are prohibited. The solitons of the ABKP must be paired. For the ABKPII equation, there exists a critical value of wave numbers for the existence of paired solitons. For the ABKPI equation, there are two types of "breather" excitations. A lump solution of the ABKPI may possess four, five or six leaves.  相似文献

Terahertz radiation generation by second-order nonlinear mixing of laser $ (\omega_{1} ,\,\vec{k}_{1} ) $ and its frequency shifted second harmonic $ \omega_{2} = 2\omega_{1} - \omega ,\,\,\vec{k}_{2} \, $ $ (\omega \ll \omega_{1} ) $ in a plasma, in the presence of an obliquely inclined density ripple of wave number $ \vec{q} $ , are investigated. The lasers exert ponderomotive force on electrons and drive density perturbations at $ (2\omega_{1} ,\,2\vec{k}_{1} - \vec{q}) $ and $ (\omega_{1} - \omega_{2} ,\,\vec{k}_{1} - \vec{k}_{2} - \vec{q}) $ . These perturbations beat with the electron oscillatory velocities due to the lasers to produce a nonlinear current at $ \omega ,\,\vec{k} = 2\vec{k}_{1} - \vec{k}_{2} - \vec{q} $ , resonantly driving the terahertz radiation when $ \vec{q} $ satisfies the phase matching condition. The radiated THz intensity depends on the relative polarization of the lasers and scales as the square of intensity of the fundamental laser and linearly with the square root of the intensity of the second harmonic. The THz emission is maximized when the polarization of the lasers is aligned. These results are consistent with the recent experimental results.  相似文献

Non-Hermitian systems can exhibit unconventional spectral singularities called exceptional points (EPs). Various EP sensors have been fabricated in recent years, showing strong spectral responses to external signals. Here we propose how to achieve a nonlinear anti-parity-time ($\mathcal{APT}$) gyroscope by spinning an optical resonator. We show that, in the absence of any nonlinearity, the sensitivity or optical mode splitting of the linear device can be magnified up to 3 orders compared to that of the conventional device without EPs. Remarkably, the $\mathcal{APT}$ symmetry can be broken when including the Kerr nonlinearity of the materials and, as a result, the detection threshold can be significantly lowered, i.e., much weaker rotations which are well beyond the ability of a linear gyroscope can now be detected with the nonlinear device. Our work shows the powerful ability of $\mathcal{APT}$ gyroscopes in practice to achieve ultrasensitive rotation measurement.  相似文献

In this paper,a variable separation approach is used to obtain localized coherent structures of the (2 1)-dimensional generalized nonlinear Schroedinger equation:Iφt-(α-β)φxx (α β)φyy-2λφ[(α β)(∫-∞^x|φ|y^2ydx u1(y,t))-(α-β)(∫-∞^y|φ|x^2dy u2(x,t))]=0,By applying a special Baecklund transformation and introducing arbitrary functions of the seed solutions, the abundance of the localized structures of this model are derived.By selecting the arbitrary function appropriately, some special types of localized excitations such as dromions, dromion lattice, breathers and istantons are constructed.  相似文献

The effect of collision energy on the magnetically tuned $^{6}$Li-$^{6}$Li Feshbach resonance (FR) is investigated theoretically by using the coupled-channel (CC) method for the collision energy ranging from 1 μ$ {\rm K} \cdot {k}_{\rm B}$ to 100 μ$ {\rm K} \cdot {k}_{\rm B}$. At the collision energy of 1 μ$ {\rm K} \cdot {k}_{\rm B}$, the resonance positions calculated are 543.152 Gs (s wave, the unit $1 {\rm Gs}=10^{-4} {\rm T}$), 185.109 Gs (p wave $|m_{l}| = 0$), and 185.113 Gs (p wave $|m_{l}| = 1$), respectively. The p-wave FR near 185 Gs exibits a doublet structure of 4 mGs, associated with dipole-dipole interaction. With the increase of the collision energy, it is found that the splitting width remains the same (4 mGs), and that the resonance positions of s and p waves are shifted to higher magnetic fields with the increase of collision energy. The variations of the other quantities including the resonance width and the amplitude of the total scattering section are also discussed in detail. The thermally averaged elastic rate coefficients at $T=10$, 15, 20, 25 K are calculated and compared.  相似文献

We investigate the pairwise entanglement and global entanglement in a generalized Jaynes--Cummings model, which can be used to realize Greenberger--Horne--Zeilinger (GHZ) entangled state (Zheng S B 2001 {\it Phys. Rev. Lett.} {\bf 87} 230404). Our results show that the W-type entangled states cannot be generated based on the model. The dependences of entanglement on Rabi frequency $\lambda$ and dipole--dipole coupling strength ${\it \Omega}$ are given. It is found that there exists the quantum phase transition when $\lambda={\it \Omega}$. For typical experimental data, the critical temperature for pairwise entanglement is on the order of $10^{-6}$\,K. Based on these results, two strategies that overcome decoherence are proposed.  相似文献

The one-body and two-body density matrices in coordinate space and their Fourier transforms in momentum space are studied for a nucleus (a nonrelativistic, self-bound finite system). Unlike the usual procedure, suitable for infinite or externally bound systems, they are determined as expectation values of appropriate intrinsic operators, dependent on the relative coordinates and momenta (Jacobi variables) and acting on intrinsic wave functions of nuclear states. Thus, translational invariance (TI) is respected. When handling such intrinsic quantities, we use an algebraic technique based upon the Cartesian representation, in which the coordinate and momentum operators are linear combinations of the creation and annihilation operators and for oscillator quanta. Each of the relevant multiplicative operators can then be reduced to the form: one exponential of the set { } times another exponential of the set { }. In the course of such a normal-ordering procedure we offer a fresh look at the appearance of “Tassie-Barker” factors, and point out other model-independent results. The intrinsic wave function of the nucleus in its ground state is constructed from a nontranslationally-invariant (nTI) one via existing projection techniques. As an illustration, the one-body and two-body momentum distributions (MDs) for the 4He nucleus are calculated with the Slater determinant of the harmonic-oscillator model as the trial, nTI wave function. We find that the TI introduces quite important effects in the MDs.  相似文献

We study the structure of the continuous matrix product operator (cMPO)[1] for the transverse field Ising model (TFIM). We prove TFIM's cMPO is solvable and has the form $T=\rm{e}^{-\frac{1}{2}\hat{H}_{\rm F}}$. $\hat{H}_{\rm F}$ is a non-local free fermionic Hamiltonian on a ring with circumference $\beta$, whose ground state is gapped and non-degenerate even at the critical point. The full spectrum of $\hat{H}_{\rm F}$ is determined analytically. At the critical point, our results verify the state-operator-correspondence[2] in the conformal field theory (CFT). We also design a numerical algorithm based on Bloch state ansatz to calculate the low-lying excited states of general (Hermitian) cMPO. Our numerical calculations coincide with the analytic results of TFIM. In the end, we give a short discussion about the entanglement entropy of cMPO's ground state.  相似文献

Entanglement of formation in a class of bipartite generalized coherent states is discussed. It is shown that a positive parameter can be associated with these bipartite states so that the states with equal value for the parameter are of equal entanglement. For the class of states considered, the maximum possible entanglement of one ebit is attained if the value of the positive parameter is . It is shown that the entanglement of formation is one ebit when the relative phase between the composing states is π in the class of bipartite generalized coherent states considered.  相似文献
