By employing a two-center model, the total and differential cross sections in the photodetachment of ``a negative molecular ion" are studied theoretically and obtained for the case of light polarization parallel to the molecular axis. We find that in contrast to the smooth behavior of the total cross section for perpendicular polarized light, the cross section for parallel polarized light shows an interesting oscillatory structure. The oscillations in the total cross section may provide a method to determine the distance between the two centers. We explain the oscillation in the total cross section as an interference effect using closed-orbit theory. We also calculated the detached-electron flux distributions on a screen placed at a large distance from the negative molecular ion. The distributions display multiple-ring-like interference patterns. Such interference patterns are similar to those in the photodetachment microscopy experiments.  相似文献

对描述双掺杂晶体非挥发性全息记录动力学过程的Kukhtarev方程进行了矢量分析,分析中考虑了体光生伏特效应和外加电场的作用。在小信号近似的基础上给出了双中心全息记录中记录与固定阶段空间电荷场的矢量解析解。在综合考虑空间电荷场的各向异性以及晶体有效电光系数的各向异性后,给出了双中心全息记录的优化记录方向。结果表明,对(Fe,Mn)∶LiNbO3晶体633nm寻常光记录,优化记录方向主要由有效电光系数决定,光栅波矢与光轴夹角为22°,方位角为30°;对(Fe,Mn)∶LiNbO3晶体633nm非寻常光记录,优化记录方向主要由固定空间电荷场决定,光栅波矢与光轴夹角为44°,方位角为90°。  相似文献

The kinetic energy release of fragment ions produced by the interaction of femtosecond laser pulse radiation with diatomic and linear triatomic molecules N_2, CO, CO_2 and CS_2 is investigated. In the case of linear polarization, angles at which the kinetic energy release of ions has the maximum value are different from the alignment of molecules though the kinetic energy release of fragment atomic ions depends on the angle between the laser polarization vector and the detection axis of the time-of-flight. For the diatomic molecules, the critical internuclear distance in multielectron dissociative ionization with a circularly polarized light is larger than that with a linearly polarized light. For linear triatomic molecules, our data indicate that a concerted Coulomb explosion process is a universal phenomenon in the interaction of molecules with intense laser fields, even in the circularly polarized regime. During two C-O (or C-S) bonds breaking simultaneously, the C ion obtained larger energy in circular polarization than that in the linear polarization. Different variations of kinetic energy release between the diatomic and the linear triatomic molecules are discussed.  相似文献

The scattering of an electron by a muon in the presence of a linearly polarized laser field is investigated in the first Born approximation. The theoretical results reveal the following: i) At medium and large scattering angles, many multiphoton processes occur during scattering, and these nonlinear phenomena may predict the resonant state of the electron and the muon formed in the collision process. ii) The photoabsorption (inverse bremsstrahlung) dominates the photoemission (bremsstrahlung), causing the cross section to increase. iii) When the laser polarization deviates from the incident direction, the lasermodified total cross section depends considerably on the azimuthal angle of the scattered electron. The dependence of the cross section on the field strength, polarization direction, and electron-impact energy are studied.  相似文献

根据半经典闭合轨道理论研究了矩形腔对氢负离子的光剥离进程的影响,利用反射定律分析矩形腔中与光剥离截面相联系的剥离电子运动的闭合轨道,推导出该体系下的光剥离截面公式,在线性极化光的作用下,研究了腔的尺寸对光剥离截面的影响,并将其与麻志君等用量子力学方法研究的结果进行对比.结果表明:矩形腔的存在及其大小对光剥离截面中由闭合轨道相联系的返回波与波源函数发生干涉引起的振荡有很大影响,且振荡曲线随着矩形腔的尺寸变化明显;当激光极化方向沿着x轴或者y轴时,半经典方法与量子力学方法的结果一致,当激光极化方向沿着Z轴时,由于矩形腔在z轴上对光剥离截面不作用,采用半经典方法光剥离截面与无场的情况相同,但是采用量子力学方法,其结果中却出现振荡,表明半经典方法研究此体系结果更准确.研究结果可对研究负离子光剥离以及外腔中的电子输运问题提供参考.  相似文献

We study numerically the generation of high-order harmonics by two-center molecules for arbitrary angles between the molecular axis and the laser polarization axis. For fixed angle, the harmonic spectrum exhibits a minimum at a frequency which is independent of the laser parameters. The amplitude of each harmonic is strongly angle dependent, and a pronounced minimum is found at the same angle where a sudden jump in the harmonic phase occurs. By calculating the spatial dependence of the harmonic amplitudes and phases, we are able to explain these effects in terms of interfering contributions from various regions within the molecule.  相似文献

The polarization states of 〈111〉-cut Yb:YAG crystal microchip lasers were investigated by pumped with the elliptically polarized pump beam from fiber-coupled laser-diode. The manipulated polarized lasers were achieved in laser-diode pumped Yb:YAG microchip laser by controlling the crystalline-orientations in 〈111〉-growth Yb:YAG crystal. Generally elliptically polarized lasers were obtained in laser-diode pumped Yb:YAG microchip lasers. However, crystalline-orientation manipulated linearly polarized laser was obtained when six different sites with different crystalline orientations were set to parallel to the major axis direction of the elliptically polarized pump beam. Six different sites in Yb:YAG crystal were separated with 30° and 90°, which were responsible for the linearly polarized laser oscillations. Circularly polarized lasers were observed when a Yb:YAG crystal was aligned to a special position between two sites responsible for linearly polarized laser oscillation. Effects of the polarization states of pump source on the laser polarization states of Yb:YAG microchip lasers and polarization direction of different polarized lasers with respect to Yb:YAG crystal rotation was addressed.  相似文献

本文运用含时密度泛函理论和分子动力学非绝热耦合的方法, 研究了水分子在不同极化方向的激光场中的电离和动力学行为. 计算结果表明, 对应相同的极化方向, 随着激光强度的增加, 水分子的电离增强; 对于相同强度的激光, 当激光极化方向沿水分子对称轴方向时, 水分子的电离最强, 当激光极化方向垂直水分子对称轴方向时, 水分子电离受到最大程度的抑制. 对水分子偶极矩的研究表明, 当分子处于线性响应区域时, x方向的激光只能激发起x方向的偶极振动而y方向的激光只能激发起y方向的偶极振动. 对水分子的键长和键角的研究表明, 在激光场中水分子的键长变长, 键角变大, 但变化幅度随着激光极化角的增大而减小. 此外, 研究还发现, 虽然在不同极化方向的激光脉冲的驱动下, 水分子OH键的振动频率与激光频率相当, 在脉冲关闭后, 振动频率减小, 但激光场的极化方向对水分子振动模式具有选择性. 关键词: 含时密度泛函理论 分子动力学 水分子 电离  相似文献

Photo-detachment of a noncollinear triatomic anion is investigated by considering each atom of the molecular anion as a coherent source of detached-electron waves, originating in all possible directions. The waves traveling along three different trajectories result in a quantum interference that displays on a screen placed at a very large distance from the system. To explain this quantum interference, an analytical formula of detached-electron flux is derived using a collinear three-center model recently published. The detached-electron flux versus laser photon energy expression displays molecular geometry-dependent oscillatory structures on an observation plane. This oscillatory behavior in the result can be explained using the semiclassical closed-orbit theory. The outgoing electron waves produced from one coherent center are propagated in the vicinity of the sources at other two coherent centers which cause these oscillations. It is also observed that in a particular case, the noncollinear triatomic system reduces to the collinear three-center system.  相似文献

The influence of electric field on the photodetachment of H-near a metal surface is investigated based on the closed-orbit theory.It is found that the photodetachment of H-near a metal surface is not only related to the electric field strength but also to the electric field direction.If the electric field is along the +z axis,it can strengthen the oscillation in the photodetachment cross section.However,if the electric field is along the -z axis,since the direction of electric field force is opposite to that of static-image force caused by the metal surface,the situation becomes much more complicated.When the electric field is very weak,its influence can be neglected.The photodetachment cross section is nearly the same as that when a single metal surface exists.When the electric field strength is strong enough,the electric field force is able to counteract the metallic attraction,therefore no closed orbit is formed.If the electric field continues to increase until its influence becomes dominant,the photodetachment cross section approaches the case of the photodetachment of H- in an electric field.Our results may be useful for guiding future experimental studies on the photodetachment of negative ions near surfaces.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the polarization dynamics of a longitudinally monomode bipolarized Nd:YAG laser: the low-frequency polarization dynamics of a microchip laser is studied experimentally and theoretically. The intensities and the relaxation oscillation spectrum of orthogonally polarized modes versus the direction of pump polarization is observed. A phase-sensitive model of a longitudinally monomode bipolarized solid-state laser with linear polarized diode laser pump is developed to account for the experimental observations.  相似文献

A laser diode (LD) pumping high-stability 1047 nm TEM00 mode Nd: YLiF4 (Nd: YLF) continuous wave (CW) laser is reported in this letter. The laser output power of 5.83 W with optical to optical effidency of 27% and slope efficiency of 30% has been achieved The instability of output power is 0.36% and spike caused by relaxation oscillation has not been observed in the laser beam. The transverse cross section of laser beam is an ellipse, the diameters of laser beam at output mirror in both directions are 0.97 mm and 1.07 mm, respectively. The divergent angles are 0. 936 mrad and 0. 774 mrad, and the values of M2 are 1.37 and 1.24, respectively. The polarization degree of laser beam is better than 237:1.  相似文献

Starting from the classical theory on molecular luminescence in liquids, rate equation for two-polarization-mode laser oscillation under transverse pumping with intense excitation have been set forth neglecting the influence of orientational relaxation of the dye molecules. Hence, the laser output power and polarization under different configurations have been obtained. The results show that the dye laser is partially polarized even when the pump beam is unpolarized and no polarizing elements exist in the cavity. If we define a reference plane consisting of the axes of the pump beam and the dye laser, the laser system has to adopt the plane perpendicular to the reference plane as the polarization direction in order to yield a highly efficient, linearly polarized laser output. Experiments on a copper-vapor laser pumped dye laser verified these analytical results.  相似文献

The motion equation for ? between the molecular axis and laser polarization direction in a high-frequency off-resonance femtosecond laser field is deduced while simultaneously examining the effects of a permanent dipole moment and field-induced polarizability and hyperpolarizability to molecular rotation. Femtosecond-laser-induced dynamic alignment of CO, N2, and Br2 molecules are investigated by numerically solving the obtained rotation equation for the angle ?. The effects of the molecular permanent dipole moment and the field-induced polarizability and hyperpolarizability on the degree of alignment are presented at different intensities. Our computational results show that the dynamic alignment of molecules is primarily determined by field-induced polarizability and the second hyperpolarizability for the laser intensity range from 5 × 1014 to 5 × 1016 W/cm2. The contributions of higher order correction terms to molecular alignment can usually be neglected. The polarizability-field interaction makes the angular distributions of a molecule have a maximum along the polarization axis and a minimum perpendicular to it. The role of the second hyperpolarizability keeps the molecular counts maximum along the laser polarization direction but minimum at an angle of 45° between the molecular axis and the polarization direction. There is also a second maximum of molecular counts perpendicular to the polarization axis. For CO, N2, and Br2 molecules, the dependences of laser-induced dynamic alignment on laser intensity exhibit completely different characteristics.  相似文献

The dependence of the electronic transition moment on the internuclear distance is explicitly taken into account in the calculation of the photoionization cross section. Thus, the partial ionization cross sections for producing different vibrational states of the residual ion are obtained without invoking the Franck-Condon factor approximation. The exact electrostatic potential of H2+, as well as the two-center Coulomb field, is used in the evaluation of the continuum wave function. The result can explain fairly well the ratios of the partial cross sections measured at 584 Å. The effect of the polarization of H2+ due to the departing photoelectron is also studied and found to be small as far as the relative cross section is concerned. The total photoionization cross sections of H2 and D2 are compared with previous results obtained by other authors.  相似文献

针对基于背向衍射图像的熊猫光纤定轴法需要建立标准图样库的难题,进行了熊猫光纤在不同方位角所产生的背向衍射图样相关性分析的实验研究.实验显示:快轴方向的背向衍射图样与慢轴方向的背向衍射图样之间具有差异性;在快轴或慢轴方向附近的背向衍射图样之间具有相似性;快轴或慢轴方向的背向衍射图样自身具有对称性.根据差异性、相似性和对称性这三个特性,建立了一种基于熊猫光纤背向衍射图样的图像互相关定轴方法,用于确定熊猫光纤快轴或慢轴这些特殊方位角.此方法不用建立标准图库就可以实现熊猫光纤特殊方位角的定轴.  相似文献
