The effect of dust size distribution in ultracold quantum dusty plasmas are investigated in this paper. How the dispersion relation and the propagation velocity for the quantum dusty plasma vary with the system parameters and the different dust distribution are studied. It is found that as the Fermi temperature of the dust grains increases the frequency of the wave increases for large wave number dust acoustic wave. The quantum parameter of Hd also increases the frequency of the large wave number dust acoustic wave. It is also found that the frequency ω0 and the propagation velocity v0 of quantum dust acoustic waves all increase as the total number density increases. They are greater for unusual dusty plasmas than those of the usual dusty plasma.  相似文献

The stationary solution is obtained for the K–P–Burgers equation that describes the nonlinear propagations of dust ion acoustic waves in a multi-component, collisionless, un-magnetized relativistic dusty plasma consisting of electrons, positive and negative ions in the presence of charged massive dust grains. Here, the Kadomtsev–Petviashvili(K–P) equation, threedimensional(3D) Burgers equation, and K–P–Burgers equations are derived by using the reductive perturbation method including the effects of viscosity of plasma fluid, thermal energy, ion density, and ion temperature on the structure of a dust ion acoustic shock wave(DIASW). The K–P equation predictes the existences of stationary small amplitude solitary wave,whereas the K–P–Burgers equation in the weakly relativistic regime describes the evolution of shock-like structures in such a multi-ion dusty plasma.  相似文献

By considering the vortex-like ion distribution,we know that the nonlinear dust acoustic wave can be described by the modified Korteweg-de Vries equation.If there are high-order transverse perturbations in this system,the governing equation for this system is the modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation.We also find that for this system under the transverse perturbation the one-dimensional solitary wave solution is stable.  相似文献

A Korteweg-de Vires-type (KdV-type) equation and a modified Nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLSE) for the dust lattice wave (DLW) are derived in a weakly inhomogeneous dust plasma crystal. It seems that the amplitude and the velocity of the dust lattice solitary waves decay exponentiaJly with increasing time in a dust lattice. The modulational instability of this dust lattice envelope waves is investigated as well. It is found that the waves are modulational stable under certain conditions. On the other hand, the waves are modulationaJ unstable if the conditions are not satisfied.  相似文献

The effect of dust charging and the influence of its adiabatic variation on dust acoustic waves is investigated. By employing the reductive perturbation technique we derived a Zakharov-Kuznetsov (ZK) equation for small amplitude dust acoustic waves. We have analytically verified that there are only rarefactive solitary waves for this system. The instability region for one-dimensional solitary wave under transverse perturbations has also been obtained. The obliquely propagating solitary waves to the z-direction for the ZK equation are given in this paper as well.  相似文献

We investigate the equilibrium and levitation of dust grains in a plasma sheath with various forces,in particular the wake potential force.The vertical oscillation frequency of dust chains is also obtained by including the wake potential term.It is found that the wake potential has a significant role for the levitation and oscillation of dust grains.  相似文献

Instability of longitudinal wave in magnetized strongly coupled dusty plasmas is investigated. The dust chargigrelaxation is taken into account. It is found that there exists threshold of interdust distance for the instability of wave, which is determined significantly by the dust charging relaxation, the coupling parameter of high correlation of dust as well the strength of magnetic field.  相似文献

We theoretically investigate the dust charging in electronegative silane (SiH4) plasmas, taking into account the effects of UV photodetachment. It is found that UV photodetachment could significantly lower the dust negative charge and even makes dust grains be positively charged under some special conditions. In addition, the other parameters, involving the negative ion and dust number densities, electron temperature and dust radius, have great effects upon the dust charging.  相似文献

Taking into account the combined effects of the external magnetic field, adiabatic dust charge fluctuation and collisions occurring between the charged dust grains and neutral gas particles (dust-neutral collisions), the dust-acoustic solitary waves in three-dimensional uniform dusty plasmas are investigated analytically. By using the reductive perturbation method, the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation governing the dnst-aconstic solitary waves is obtained. The present analytical results show that only rarefactive solitary waves exist in this system. It is also found that the effects of the wave vector along the z-direction, dust charge variation, collisional frequency, the plasma density, and temperature ratio can significantly influence the characteristics of low-frequency wave modes. Moreover, for the collisional dusty plasmas, there is a certain critical value μc of the plasma density ratio μ, if μ 〈 μc, the width of the waves increases with μ, otherwise the width of waves decreases with μ.  相似文献

The modulational instability of dust ion accoustic waves in a dust plasma with ion-dust collision effects is studied.Using the perturbation method,a modified nonlinear Schroedinger equation contains a damping term that comes from the effect of the ion-dust collision is derived.It is found that the inclusion of the ion-dust collision would modify the modulational instability of the wave packet and could not admit any stationary envelope solitary waves.  相似文献

Effects of dipole moment on the horizontal dust lattice waves in one-dimensional dust chain are investigated. The general dispersion relations are derived. The waves are sensitive to the direction of the dipole moment, which has an angle θ (0≤ θ≤π) with respect to the vertical direction. When the waves are self-excited, it is shown that the real part of frequency for longitudinal wave is increased, while it is decreased for the horizontal transverse wave with increasing θ. When the waves are externally exited, both the real and imaginary parts of wave number are decreased for the longitudinal and transverse waves with increasing θ.  相似文献

We develop the nonlinear theory of dust voids [Phys. Rev. Lett. 90 (2003) 075001], focusing particularly on effects of the ionization, to investigate numerically the void evolution under cylindrical coordinates [Phys. Plasmas 13 (2006) 064502]. The ion velocity profile is solved by a more accurate ion motion equation with the ion convection and ionization terms. It is shown that the differences between the previous result and the one obtained with ionizations are significant for the distributions of the ion and dust velocities, the dust density, and etc., in the void formation process. Furthermore, the ionization can slow down the void formation process effectively.  相似文献

In order to study the characteristics of dust acoustic waves in a uniform dense dusty magnetoplasma system, a nonlinear dynamical equation is deduced using the quantum hydrodynamic model to account for dust–neutral collisions. The linear dispersion relation indicates that the scale lengths of the system are revised by the quantum parameter, and that the wave motion decays gradually leading the system to a stable state eventually. The variations of the dispersion frequency with the dust concentration, collision frequency, and magnetic field strength are discussed. For the coherent nonlinear dust acoustic waves, new analytic solutions are obtained, and it is found that big shock waves and wide explosive waves may be easily produced in the background of high dusty density, strong magnetic field, and weak collision. The relevance of the obtained results is referred to dense dusty astrophysical circumstances.  相似文献

The propagation of dust ion-acoustic wave in an inhomogeneous dusty plasma is studied by taking the dust charge fluctuation and collisions into account. It is shown that the dust charge fluctuation brings a phase shift to the wave. Furthermore, because of the presence of dust charge fluctuation, a new damping term rises, which makes the damping more sharply.  相似文献

The radial distributions of ions,electrons and dust particles in the positive colum of glow discharges are investigated in a tripled-pole diffusion model.The dust particles are mainly trapped in the region around the column axis where the electrostatic potential is the highest.The presence of the dust particles results in the ion density increasing and the electron density decreasiung in the dust-trapped region.The dust-trapped region is wider for a higher dust temperature or a smaller particulate redius.The ions and electrons in the dust-free region away from the column axis are in ambipolar diffusion.  相似文献

The possible place to search for exotic states in J/ψ hadronic decays is in J/ψ→ρρπ. Because of the symmetry of identical particle and the symmetry of isospin, the physical analysis on this channel is quite complicated. In this paper, the method to use the partial wave analysis based on covariant helicity amplitude analysis to study the invariant mass spectrum of ρπ and to find the evidence of exotic states in ρπ spectrum is discussed. The decay amplitude for the decay sequence J/ψ→ρX, X →ρπ is given first. Then we discuss how to realize the identical particle symmetry and the isospin symmetry in the decay amplitude, which is the key point in the analysis of this channel. Then the total decay amplitude of this channel including all decay components is given. After that, how to identify the exotic states in the ρπ spectrum is discussed. What is discussed in this paper is the theoretical basis on experimentally searching for exotic states at BEPC/BES.  相似文献
