A self-consistent procedure for calculating the particle-hole states of nuclei is given. This has been applied to the levels of16O nucleus. The particle-hole interaction is derived using Landau theory. The basis states are generated using the Brueckner many-body theory, and used in the random-phase-approximation calculation. The sensitivity of the 3- state at 6.13 MeV with the interaction is discussed, the other states being reasonably insensitive to such a choice. The effect of renormalization of the particle-hole interaction, on various states is also discussed.  相似文献

We study the random walk representation of the two-point function in statistical mechanics models near the critical point. Using standard scaling arguments, we show that the critical exponentv describing the vanishing of the physical mass at the critical point is equal tov /dw, whered w is the Hausdorff dimension of the walk, andv is the exponent describing the vanishing of the energy per unit length of the walk at the critical point. For the case ofO(N) models, we show thatv 0=, where is the crossover exponent known in the context of field theory. This implies that the Hausdorff dimension of the walk is/v forO(N) models.  相似文献

According to random walk, in this paper, we propose a new traffic model for scheduling trains on a railway network. In the proposed method, using some iteration rules for walkers, the departure and the arrival times of trains at each station are determined. We test the proposed method on an assumed railway network. The numerical simulations and the analytical results demonstrate that the proposed method provides an effective tool for scheduling trains. Some characteristic behaviours of train movement can be reproduced, such as train delay.  相似文献

We develop simple rigorous techniques to estimate the behavior of general one-dimensional diffusion processes. Any one-dimensional diffusion process (with drift) can be mapped onto a symmetric diffusion through an explicit change of variable. For such processes we can estimate explicitly the diffusion exponent, the recurrence properties, and the large fluctuations. In a second part, we apply these results to different models (including the Sinaï random walk: diffusion in a random drift) and we show how the main features of the diffusion can be readily handled.  相似文献

This paper presents a detailed Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) and contribution analysis of the interior noise of a high-speed train through extensive simulations and measurements. The SEA model was developed based on the actual geometrical parameters of a benchmark high-speed coach. Sound transmission loss levels of the structural components of the car body, which are required in the SEA model, were tested in a dedicated acoustic laboratory following international standard ISO 140-3:1995. Modal densities of these structural components were derived from measured frequency response functions using the modal counting method. Damping loss factors were obtained using the half-power bandwidth method and the vibration attenuation method. By considering the relationship between sound radiation and power transmission, coupling loss factors between structures and cavities were estimated. Source inputs to the SEA model were derived from field experiment data. Interior noise due to those sources was predicted using the SEA model and the prediction was generally in good agreement with measurement. Contribution analysis was then performed using this validated model through parametric study, and this analysis was further examined experimentally. In conclusion, for the coach that was investigated in this paper, the key factors for interior noise are sidewall vibration, bogie area noise, and floor sound transmission loss. Based on this and other engineering considerations, an interior noise control strategy can be defined.  相似文献

Based on deterministic NaSch model, we propose a new cellular automation model for simulating train movement. In the proposed model, the reaction time of driver/train equipment is considered. Our study is focused on the additional energy consumption arising by train delay around a traffic bottle (station). The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed model is suitable for simulating the train movement under high speed condition. Further, we discuss the relationship between the additional energy consumption and some factors which affect the formation of train delay, such as the maximum speed of trains and the station dwell time etc.  相似文献

采用积分方法分析了线电荷串,沿周期性理想金属光栅表面平行移动时产生的史密斯帕塞尔辐射。分别对短周期光栅、低能量线电荷串与长周期光栅、高能量线电荷串的辐射情况进行了数值计算。相对单个线电荷而言,N个线电荷与反射光栅作用产生的辐射场密度,在频率是线电荷串调制频率的整数倍处出现最大,辐射谱宽变窄;随电荷能量增高,辐射能量向高频方向移动,并具有强烈的定向性;可以通过调节线电荷调制频率等参量实现辐射电磁波频率锁定。研究结果表明,对高能量与低能量的电荷参量,适当选择光栅尺寸与线电荷串间隔周期,都可使辐射波工作于太赫兹波段。  相似文献

Summary Physical systems or processes invariant under mirror reflection are not expected to exhibit intrinsically chiral asymmetries. Thus, it is ordinarily the case that unbounded and unexcited atoms (in the absence of weak nuclear interactions) should not manifest circular birefringence. It is shown, however, that in a rotating reference frame the coupling of atomic spin angular momentum to the angular velocity of the rest frame gives to optical activity even in the absence of contributions from nuclear interactions and the classical Coriolis force. Ground-state atomic hydrogen is predicted to be optically active in the microwave region near the hyperfine splitting frequency of 1420 MHz. Under appropriate circumstances, this spin-associated rotational circular birefringence can be some ten orders of magnitude larger than that previously estimated for virtual electronic transitions falling within the visible and UV portions of the spectrum.  相似文献

Field and laboratory experiments were performed to unravel the structure of the power output fluctuations of horizontal-axis wind turbines based on incoming flow turbulence. The study considers the power data of three wind turbines of rotor sizes 0.12, 3.2, and 96 m, with rated power spanning six decades from the order of 100 to 106 W. The 0.12 m wind turbine was tested in a wind tunnel while the 3.2 and 96 m wind turbines were operated in open fields under approximately neutrally stratified thermal conditions. Incoming flow turbulence was characterised by hotwire and sonic anemometers for the wind tunnel and field set-ups. While previous works have observed a filtering behaviour in wind turbine power output, this exact behaviour has not, to date, been properly characterised. Based on the spectral structure of the incoming flow turbulence at hub height, and the mechanical and structural properties of the turbines, a physical basis for the behaviour of temporal power fluctuations and their spectral structure is found with potential applications in turbine control and numerical simulations. Consistent results are observed across the geometrical scales of the wind turbines investigated, suggesting no Reynolds number dependence in the tested range.  相似文献

An experimental study was conducted to investigate the effects of relative rotation direction on the wake interferences among two tandemwind turbines models.While the oncoming flow conditions were kept in constant during the experiments,turbine power outputs,wind loads acting on the turbines,and wake characteristics behind the turbines were compared quantitatively with turbine models in either co-rotating or counter-rotating configuration.The measurement results reveal that the turbines in counter-rotating would harvest more wind energy from the same oncoming wind,compared with the co-rotating case.While the recovery of the streamwise velocity deficits in the wake flows was found to be almost identical with the turbines operated in either co-rotating or counter-rotating,the significant azimuthal velocity generated in the wake flow behind the upstream turbine is believed to be the reason why the counter-rotating turbines would have a better power production performance.Since the azimuthal flow velocity in the wake flow was found to decrease monotonically with the increasing downstream distance,the benefits of the counter-rotating configuration were found to decrease gradually as the spacing between the tandem turbines increases.While the counter-rotating downstream turbine was found to produce up to 20%more power compared with that of co-rotating configuration with the turbine spacing being about 0.7D,the advantage was found to become almost negligible when the turbine spacing becomes greater than 6.5D.It suggests that the counter-rotating configuration design would be more beneficial to turbines in onshore wind farms due to the smaller turbine spacing(i.e.,~3 rotor diameters for onshore wind farms vs.~7 rotor diameters for offshore wind farms in the prevailing wind direction),especially for those turbines sited over complex terrains with the turbine spacing only about 1–2 rotor diameters.  相似文献

This paper presents an analytical approach of the propagation of an acoustic wave through a normally distributed disordered lattice made up of Helmholtz resonators connected to a cylindrical duct. This approach allows to determine analytically the exact transmission coefficient of a weakly disordered lattice. Analytical results are compared to a well-known numerical method based on a matrix product. Furthermore, this approach gives an analytical expression of the localization length apart from the Bragg stopband which depends only on the standard deviation of the normal distribution disorder. This expression permits to study on one hand the localization length as a function of both disorder strength and frequency, and on the other hand, the propagation characteristics on the edges of two sorts of stopbands (Bragg and Helmholtz stopbands). Lastly, the value of the localization length inside the Helmholtz stopband is compared to the localization length in the Bragg stopband.  相似文献

A consistent treatment is extremely important in relativistic approaches. We emphasized the consistent approach in relativistic random phase approximation built on relativistic mean filed ground states. The consistent treatment requires that the studies of the ground state and excited states of giant resonances are based on same effective Lagrangian, and on a same complete set of basis. Based on the optimal velocity car-following model, in this paper, we propose an improved model for simulating train movement in an urban railway in which the regenerative energy of a train is considered. Here a new additional term is introduced into a traditional car-following model. Our aim is to analyze and discuss the dynamic characteristics of the train movement when the regenerative energy is utilized by the electric locomotive. The simulation results indicate that the improved car-following model is suitable for simulating the train movement. Further, some qualitative relationships between regenerative energy and dynamic characteristics of a train are investigated, such as the measurement data of regenerative energy presents a power-law distribution. Our results are useful for optimizing the design and plan of urban railway systems.  相似文献

We elaborate on Abelian complex scalar models, which are dictated by natural actions (all couplings are of order one), at fixed and large global U (1) charge in an arbitrary number of dimensions. The ground state is coherently constructed by the zero modes and the appearance of a centrifugal potential is quantum mechanically verified. Using the path integral formulation we systematically analyze the quantum fluctuations around in order to derive an effective action for the Goldstone mode, which becomes perturbatively meaningful when the charge is large. In this regime we explicitly show, by computing the first few loop corrections, that the whole construction is stable against quantum effects, in the sense that any higher derivative couplings to Goldstone's tree‐level action are suppressed by appropriate powers of the large charge.  相似文献
