Focal depth and focal splitting of hyperbolic-cosine-Gaussian beams induced by a phase plate were investigated. The pure phase plate consists of three concentric zones: a center circle zone, an inner annular zone and an outer annular zone. The phase variance of the inner annular zone is adjustable. Simulation results show that the focal depth can be adjusted by changing the radii of zones. With the increase of the inner radius of the outer annular zone, the focal spot broadens along the optical axis and splits into two peaks. Then the two peaks combine back into one peak. There are two critical values for the inner radius of the outer annular zone, at which focal spot changes sharply. The tunable range of the focal depth varies considerably. The phase variance of the inner annular zone affects focal depth also; when the phase variance is π, the effect attains maximum. The parameters of cosh parts of the beam affect both focal splitting and focal depth evidently; focal splitting disappears with increasing parameters of cosh parts, and focal depth increases with increasing the parameters of cosh parts in both the low and the high numerical-aperture optical systems.  相似文献

 从理论上研究部分相干光被一环形透镜聚焦,在焦点附近的轴上点的光强分布。研究结果表明,当部分相干光被一环形透镜聚焦时,最大聚焦光强不在几何焦点,而是位于透镜与几何焦点之间,出现焦移现象。并且,焦移量不仅依赖于透镜外半径的菲涅耳数,还依赖于部分相干光的空间相干度和中心拦截比。透镜的菲涅耳数越小,焦移越大;部分相干光的空间相干度越低,焦移越大。当菲涅耳数一定时,环形透镜的中心拦截比越大,焦移越大;当空间相干度很小时,情况就变得比较复杂。  相似文献

Focusing properties of the radially polarized axisymmetric Bessel-modulated Gaussian beam with quadratic radial dependence (QBG beam) and annular aperture are investigated theoretically by vector diffraction theory. Simulation results show that the intensity distribution in the focal region of the radially polarized axisymmetric QBG beam can be adjusted considerably by small beam parameter (μ) and annular aperture (δ). When μ increases, the focal spot may change to focal hole and changes focal pattern remarkably. On introducing annular aperture, focus can split or extends along the optical axis for different μ. In this paper, we have shown the generation of the focal spot, dark focal spot, focal split and increase in focal depth in the axial direction of the incident beam propagating through the aligned optical system.  相似文献

Based on vectorial diffraction theory, the effect of annular apodization on tightly focused azimuthally polarized Bessel-modulated Gaussian beam (QBG) are investigated theoretically. The numerical results show that the intensity distribution in focal region of the incident beam can be altered considerably by changing beam parameter (μ) and introducing annular apodization (δ). Beam parameter induces the focal splitting in transverse direction, while annular apodization leads to change in focal pattern along optical axis of the focusing system. More interesting, the focal splitting may be in continuous in certain case of incident beam propagating through aligned optical system which is suitable for application such as optical manipulation and optical trapping.  相似文献

X射线光源的焦斑尺寸和焦深对X射线光谱学,尤其是对于微区X射线衍射与荧光分析等领域十分重要的参数。如何高效而准确的表征这些参数对于X射线光源的应用和发展至关重要。现有的光源参数表征方法,尤其在表征微焦斑光源的参数时,都存在自身的局限性。锥形单玻璃管X射线聚焦镜是一种常用的X射线聚焦器件。根据锥形单玻璃管X射线聚焦镜滤波特性和几何特点,分析得到聚焦镜的聚焦光能量上限的大小受到光源焦斑尺寸的影响,提出这个能量上限与光源尺寸和光源到聚焦镜入口的距离之间的数学关系。设计了一种基于锥形单玻璃管X射线聚焦镜的表征X射线光源参数的方法。对锥形单玻璃管X射线聚焦镜的参数进行测量和确定后,将聚焦镜放置要测量的光源前,与光源形成聚焦光路。在光路准直并确保只有在聚焦镜内发生单次全反射的X射线射出聚焦镜的情况下,通过改变聚焦镜与光源焦斑距离并利用能谱探测系统来探测聚焦光并得到多个对应的聚焦光能谱。对所得能谱进行计算与分析,得到各能谱中的能量最大值,即聚焦光的能量上限。利用聚焦光能量上限、光源焦斑尺寸和光源到聚焦镜的距离之间的关系并结合线性拟合法,可同时得到光源焦斑尺寸和焦深。选用制造商给出焦斑尺寸约60 μm,焦深为20 mm的微焦斑钼靶光源作为测量对象,利用基于锥形单玻璃管X射线聚焦镜的表征方法测量的结果为焦斑尺寸为60.1 μm,焦深为19.7 mm。用小孔成像法表征该光源焦斑尺寸为60.3 μm,焦深为20.1 mm。相较于现有的方法,基于锥形单玻璃管X射线聚焦镜的表征X射线光源参数方法对表征微焦斑光源有一定优势,对表征高能X射线光源有潜在发展和利用价值。  相似文献

The validity of a focal length function is investigated in designing optical element with long focal depth and high lateral resolution. The designed lenses with different starting focal length are studied. Two focusing performance measures, focal depth and lateral resolution, are presented. Comparing with the conventional lens and optical element designed by other focal length function, numerical results of the designed optics element indicate that the long focal depth and high lateral resolution are achieved. The validity of the focal length function is confirmed. Meanwhile, the designed optical element is similar with the lens with spherical aberration. It means that one can easily implement long focal depth by applying appropriate phase modulation to a lens with spherical aberration.  相似文献

In this paper, the evolution of the gradient force pattern, focal shift, and focal switch induced by a three-portion pure phase-shifting apodizer is numerically investigated in detail. The results show that the proposed apodizer may induce tunable gradient force on the particles in the focal region, focal shift, and focal switch. By adjusting the geometrical parameters of the phase-shifting apodizer, multiple traps may occur with changeable distance between them, and the shape of the optical trap also evolves evidently. More interestingly, for certain geometrical parameters of the proposed apodizer, by changing the phase shift of inner annular portion, the considerable focal shift may occur with focal switch accompanying, which is discussed to show that this kind of apodizer may be a very promising method of transporting trapped particles.  相似文献

Based on the beam coherent-polarization (BCP) matrix approach and propagation law of partially coherent beams, the focal shift and focal switch of partially polarized Gaussian Schell-model (PGSM) beams passing through a system with the aperture and spherically aberrated lens separated is studied in detail. Our main attention is focused on the effect of spherical aberration and partial coherence on the focal shift and focal switch of PGSM beams. It is shown that for polarizer-free case there is no focal switch of PGSM beams, the focal shift of PGSM beams is closely related with spherical aberration coefficient C4, auto-coherence length σa, truncation parameter δ and relative position s/f between the aperture and lens in general, and is independent of the cross-coherence length σc. After inserting a polarizer the focal switch can take place. Numerical calculation results are given to illustrate how the spherical aberration and partial coherence affect the focal shift and focal switch of PGSM beams.  相似文献

Focal shift of a concentric piecewise cylindrical vector beam is investigated by means of vector diffractive theory. A section of the beam consists of three concentric portions. The center circle portion and outer annular portion are radial polarized, and the inner annular portion is generalized polarized. The phase of the inner annular portion is tunable. For certain geometric parameters of the beam, the focal shift occurs and can be adjusted by phase shift and polarized direction of the inner annular portion. For some cases, a three-peak focal pattern may occur, and peaks shift in the same direction, and one local minimum also shifts. For some other cases, a two-peak focal pattern may occur with shifting peaks. The tunable quantitative focal shift is investigated in detail.  相似文献

采用数值模拟方法对聚焦高斯光束在湍流大气中传输的焦移进行了研究.结果表明:湍流大气中高斯光束的焦点不再位于真空焦点位置,而是向发射点移动,且前移的幅度随湍流强度的增大而增大,这与理论预计结果一致.引用焦深概念描述光束在焦点附近的准直特性,结果显示:在弱起伏和中等强度起伏情况下,光束的焦深随着湍流强度的增大而增大,焦点附近光束准直度提高;在中等和强起伏情况下,光束在焦点附近高度准直.  相似文献

Focusing properties of flattened Gaussian beams (FGBs) passing through an annular lens is studied based on the Collins formula. It is found that the on-axis irradiance distributions of focused FGBs are unsymmetrical with respect to the geometrical focal plane even for large values of Fresnel number Fw associated with the beam, so that there exist focal shifts in general. Detailed numerical results show the dependence of focal shifts on the beam and system parameters. Focal shifts of FGBs by a lens without central obscuration and focal shifts of Gaussian beams by an annular lens can be treated as special cases of the obscure ratio =0 and beam order N=0, respectively. Furthermore, focal shifts of plane waves by an annular lens can also be treated as a special case of N=0 and Fw→∞.  相似文献

基于广义惠更斯-菲涅耳原理和相位结构函数的平方近似,研究了部分相干高斯-谢尔模型涡旋光束被聚焦后在大气湍流中的传输特性,得到了焦平面上光强解析表达式.利用该表达式,详细研究了该类光束在大气湍流中传输焦平面上的光强分布特性.结果表明:在大气湍流中,随着传输距离的增加,涡旋光束的奇异性逐渐降低.对于拓扑荷大的以及空间相干长度较长的涡旋光束,光束奇异性的保持相对要好.在一定的焦距长度和湍流大气条件下,我们可以通过调整光源的拓扑荷和相干长度控制焦面光强分布和焦斑大小.另外,有一定拓扑荷的涡旋光束可以在一定程度上降低大气湍流对传输光束焦面光强分布的影响.  相似文献

Focal shift of hyperbolic-cosine-Gaussian beams induced by pure phase apodizer was investigated theoretically. The pure phase apodizer consists of three concentric zones: center circle zone, inner annular zone and outer annular zone. And the phase variance of the inner annular zone is adjustable. Results show that intensity peak moves far from optical aperture and then shrinks sharply for certain radii of zones with increasing phase variance of the inner annular zone. Simultaneously, one new intensity peak occurs near optical aperture, moves far from the optical aperture, and then becomes intensity maximum peak, and repeats the evolution process of the former intensity peak. Tunable focal shift occurs with focal switch. Decreasing the phase variance can change the move direction of the intensity peaks. In addition, the maximum distance between the two intensity peaks can be altered by beam parameters of cosh parts, and the distance value increases and then decreases with increasing beam parameters of cosh parts for certain radii of zones. Tunable focal shift is also discussed to construct optical tweezers.  相似文献

In recent years the partially coherent beams have attracted very much due to novel properties and its applications. In this paper the tight focusing properties of radially polarized partially coherent dark hollow beam (DHB) through a high numerical aperture lens are investigated numerically based on vectorial Debye theory in detail. The result shows that the optical intensity distribution in the focal region directly fluctuates due to small change in coherence length and high numerical aperture angle of the focused radially polarized partially coherent DHB.  相似文献

采用部分相干光交叉谱密度理论,给出了适用于任意大气湍流条件的斜程湍流大气传输J0相关部分相干光束在接收面内的长期平均光强分布、光束长期扩展和质量因子的解析表达式,分析了天顶角、传输距离、光源相干性以及湍流外尺度对接收面光强分布特性和光束扩展的影响.研究结果表明:在天顶角和传输距离一定的条件下,通过选择合适的光源相干性可控制焦面光强为平顶分布或中心光强为最大;在传输距离给定的条件下,随着天顶角或大气湍流外尺度的增加,焦斑光强分布均由中央凹陷分布逐渐变为高斯分布.焦面附近光强的中央凹陷比焦面的中央凹陷浅.J0相关部分相干光束实际焦斑位置随天顶角、湍流外尺度的增加以及相干性减弱而移向发射端. 关键词: 部分相干束 大气湍流 0相关')" href="#">J0相关 斜程传输  相似文献

Focus evolution of linearly polarized Lorentz beam with sine-azimuthal variation wavefront induced by one on-axis optical vortex was investigated theoretically in this article. Calculation results show that the focal pattern can be altered considerably by the charge number of on-axis optical vortex under condition of certain beam parameters and phase parameter that indicates the sine phase change frequency on increasing azimuthal angle. And the focal evolution principle differs remarkably for different beam parameters and the phase parameter. In focus evolution process, some novel focal patterns appear, including annular focal pattern, two-peak focal pattern, intensity lines, hexagon containing two peaks, swallowtail shape, multipede shape, and complex focal pattern. Introduction of optical vortex adds one controllable parameter to alter focal pattern, which may extend application of Lorentz beam in some focusing systems.  相似文献

Numerical simulations show that the evolution of the focal shape is altered considerably by changing the radii of zones and the decentered parameters in cosh parts of the light beam. Increase inner radius of the outer annular zone, focal spot broadens along optical axis, splits into two peaks, and then the two peaks combine back into one peak. In this process, the focal depth increases and then decreases three times, so three focal depth peaks occur. And the distance between the two peaks for bigger inner radius of outer annular zone is very small. With decreasing decentered parameters in cosh part of the beam, position of the three focal depth peaks shift toward to small radius, and the peak values also fall simultaneously.  相似文献

In the present work the propagation of a partially coherent radially polarized beam through aligned and misaligned ABCD optical systems is discussed. The elements of the beam coherence-polarization matrix for a partially coherent radially polarized beam propagating through these systems are derived for the first time. Using the derived analytical results the intensity distribution of the focused partially coherent radially polarized beam after a low-NA lens is investigated. It is shown that the coherence of the light source affects the beam intensity profile at the focal plane significantly, while for the given coherence of the light source the focal length of the used lens does not affect the beam intensity profile at the focal plane. This is consistent with the case of a partially coherent Hermite-Gaussian beam, as expected.  相似文献

利用Collins公式得出光强均匀部分相干光经柱面球差透镜聚焦后的轴上光强分布,并通过数值模拟的方法研究了入射光的菲涅耳数、相干度和透镜的球差对轴上点光强分布的影响.结果显示,当菲涅耳数较小、空间相干度较小的部分相干光经无球差透镜聚焦时,轴上点光强分布会产生焦移现象,而当部分相干光被球差透镜聚焦时,也会有焦移现象产生.  相似文献
