啁啾脉冲光束的远场特性对其具体应用具有重要意义。利用夫琅禾费衍射积分公式导出了啁啾脉冲高斯光束远场光强分布的解析式,并通过数值计算分析了啁啾参数对远场分布的影响。结果表明,脉冲光束的远场中心光强随着脉宽的减小而增大,其远场轴上功率谱随着脉宽的增大而减小,与普通脉冲高斯光束相比,脉宽的变化对于啁啾脉冲光束的影响更大。脉冲光束的中心光强也随着谱宽的增大而增大,但啁啾参数的变化不会对其产生影响。  相似文献

啁啾脉冲放大(CPA)技术的关键在于提高高功率短脉冲的信噪比。分析了典型的光纤-光栅展宽脉冲的理想压缩特性,考察由逆傅氏变换相联系的啁啾脉冲功率谱I(ω)与理想压缩脉冲I(t)关系式,提出通过谱整形等方法消除功率谱调制使之具有理想外形是获得高信噪比的基本方法。  相似文献

为探究光纤负五阶非线性和光脉冲预啁啾对高斯光脉冲频率啁啾和频谱的综合影响,在忽略光纤色散的情况下,利用包含三五阶非线性的扩展非线性薛定谔方程,计算和分析了啁啾高斯脉冲的频谱和总啁啾。结果表明,脉冲无预啁啾时,负五阶非线性的存在可使脉冲频率啁啾的形状由单“S”形变为双“S”形,并使脉冲的中心附近由正啁啾变为负啁啾。此外,负五阶非线性的存在使预啁啾对脉冲频谱的影响发生了较大的变化。预啁啾与非线性所致啁啾叠加后对脉冲频谱的谱峰数目影响较小,而对能量在各个谱峰上的分布影响较大,在某些最大非线性相移下,甚至会出现总啁啾减小使谱峰值数目增加的情况。该研究对光开关、光脉冲压缩以及光纤通信系统等领域的深入发展具有一定的指导意义。  相似文献

利用三五阶非线性效应下的扩展非线性薛定谔方程,在忽略光纤色散的情况下,计算模拟了以二阶情形为例的啁啾超高斯光脉冲的啁啾和频谱。结果表明,脉冲无预啁啾时,正五阶非线性增大啁啾量,负五阶非线性在减小啁啾量的同时还改变啁啾曲线的形状。当预啁啾与五阶非线性系数同(异)号时,总啁啾增加(减小)。随着超高斯脉冲阶次的增大,总啁啾量增大,脉冲中心附近无啁啾的范围变宽,整个有啁啾的范围变小,总啁啾中预啁啾所占比重增大。脉冲无预啁啾时,正负五阶非线性分别可以增大和减小频谱展宽。预啁啾若增强非线性所致啁啾,则可能使频谱峰值结构加强,谱峰数目增多。当超高斯光脉冲的阶次或最大非线性相移增大时,在某些宽大的频谱峰上还可能出现许多精细谱峰。  相似文献

低成本脉冲光源应用于光码分多址系统,有助于光码分多址系统的实用化进程。对实用化的啁啾脉冲光源应用于光码分多址系统进行了优化改进。研究啁啾脉冲光源本身啁啾的消除即压缩啁啾脉冲对编解码性能的提升作用。针对通常实用的啁啾脉冲光源的谱宽相对较窄而不能充分覆盖编解码频谱的现实,研究利用编解码器频谱的半边带进行编解码以改善解码性能的效果。仿真和实测数据表明,对啁啾脉冲进行消啁啾、压缩脉宽有助于提高编解码性能;利用编解码频谱的半边带进行编解码能够更加充分利用光源频谱,编解码性能进一步得到优化。研究结果表明消啁啾和半边带能够改进啁啾脉冲光源用于光码分多址系统的有效性。  相似文献

以利用双曲渐减的正常色散渐减光纤(ND-DDF)获得啁啾抛物线脉冲为基础,进一步利用对称分布傅立叶的数值方法,研究了其它色散渐减的ND-DDF获得啁啾抛物线脉冲的情况.数值研究的结果表明:在采用不同的色散渐减时,如线性、指数、高斯、余弦、双曲等,最终输出的脉冲均具有较好的线性啁啾,且基本符合抛物线形状,这说明在利用ND-DDF获得啁啾抛物线脉冲时色散渐减方式可灵活选择;同时结果还显示,色散渐减的方式导致所得脉冲的啁啾强度、以及脉冲宽度和峰值功率会有所差异;文章最后给出了不同情况下抛物线脉冲经啁啾补偿后的输出脉冲形状和压缩因子.  相似文献

采用单电子近似和软核势模型, 通过数值求解一维含时薛定谔方程, 理论研究了当脉冲分别带有正、负啁啾的情况下所产生的阿秒脉冲.分析了不同脉冲啁啾特性对阿秒脉冲的强度和宽度的影响. 研究结果表明, 无论是正啁啾还是负啁啾, 随着啁啾量的增加, 都将使激光脉冲由产生单个阿秒脉冲趋向于产生阿秒脉冲链. 正啁啾和负啁啾对于阿秒脉冲宽度的影响是不同的, 负啁啾对于阿秒脉冲宽度影响很小, 适当的负啁啾有利于缩小阿秒脉冲的宽度; 而正啁啾脉冲产生的阿秒脉冲较无啁啾时展宽, 且随着啁啾量的增加, 其阿秒脉冲宽度迅速增大.  相似文献

基于谱分析方法系统研究了多个线性啁啾高斯脉冲堆积的强度起伏频率。首先基于傅里叶变换方法分别分析并模拟了两路和多路线性啁啾高斯脉冲堆积,讨论了等幅度、等延迟多路线性啁啾高斯脉冲堆积的情况下,起伏频率与初始高斯脉冲的数目与啁啾系数、时间延迟和脉冲宽度的关系,并简要分析了多路线性啁啾高斯脉冲堆积的一般情况。结果表明,在堆积脉冲的强度谱中存在一系列分立的频率边带,这些频率边带对强度起伏有贡献。高频的频率边带由于幅度交叠的部分较少,所以对强度起伏贡献较少。强度起伏频率随初始啁啾高斯脉冲啁啾系数和时间延迟的增大而增大,随脉冲宽度的减小而增大。  相似文献

We report the experimental study of broadband spectrum generation in a piece of standard fiber (SMF-28) using as the pump a train of noise-like pulses, or sub-nanosecond packets of sub-ps pulses with randomly varying amplitudes. The pulses are generated by an erbium-doped figure-eight fiber laser, and present a wide (∼50 nm) optical spectrum, which represents a significant advantage to seed the generation of new frequencies. Another advantage of the pulses is their relatively large energy, as they are made up of a large number of ultrashort pulses. After amplification with an Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier (EDFA), the pulses were injected in a 0.75 km length of SMF-28 fiber. We obtained experimentally at the end of the fiber an output signal spectrum extending from 1530 nm to at least 1750 nm (the upper limit of the spectrum analyzer) for pump pulses with an average power of 20.4 mW, corresponding to a few kilowatts peak power. The spectral broadening is due to Raman self-frequency shift (SFS). It is noteworthy that the spectrum of the newly created frequencies was extremely uniform over the range of measurement. Considering that the Raman shift is directly related to the pump pulse duration, spectral flatness is a direct consequence of the random distribution of amplitudes and durations of the pulses in the packet. Finally, the results show the capabilities of noise-like pulses from a fiber laser for applications in supercontinuum generation based on nonlinear phenomena such as Raman SFS.  相似文献

We present a nonlinear ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier based on enhanced nonlinear effects that can produce a flat broadband spectrum ranging from 1050–1225 nm with a maximum average output power of 7.8 W at 14 W pump power.Its repetition rate is 89 MHz. Using a pair of gratings and two knife edges as a filter, wavelength tunable picosecond pulses of tens to hundreds of milliwatts can be obtained in the broadband spectrum range. The output power, pulse width, and spectrum(center wavelength and linewidth) are adjusted by tuning the distance of the grating pair and/or the knife edges.Fixing the distance between the two gratings at 15 mm and keeping the output spectrum linewidth at approximately 20 nm,the shortest pulse width obtained is less than 1 ps centered at 1080 nm. The longest wavelength of the short pulses is around1200 nm, and its output power and pulse width are 40 m W and 5.79 ps, respectively. The generation of a flat broadband spectrum is also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

利用非线性偏振旋转技术实现自起振被动锁模.在掺铒光纤环形腔激光器中产生了中心波长为1563.3 nm、重复频率为12.5 MHz、脉冲宽度为352.0 fs、3 dB光谱宽度为7.8 nm的孤子光脉冲.采用该孤子光脉冲作为抽运光源,经掺铒光纤放大器放大后,输入到101 m长的高非线性光子晶体光纤中,获得了20 dB带宽约为240 nm的超连续激光光谱.实验详细观测了光脉冲随抽运功率的变化及超连续激光光谱的形成过程,分析了其形成机理.研究表明:当抽运功率较低时,光谱加宽主要由高阶孤子的分裂引起;随着抽运功率的增加,高阶孤子分裂成基本孤子的数目逐渐增大,光谱进一步加宽;当抽运功率增加到受激拉曼散射的阈值时,受激拉曼散射成为光谱展宽的主要原因;抽运功率进一步增加时,受激拉曼散射、参量四波混频等非线性的共同作用将使光谱进一步加宽且变得光滑. 关键词: 孤子光纤激光器 超连续 光子晶体光纤  相似文献

A mid-infrared supercontinuum (SC) is generated in ZBLAN (ZrF4-BaF2-LaF3-AlF3-NaF...) fluoride fibers from amplified nanosecond laser diode pulses with a continuous spectrum from approximately 0.8 microm to beyond 4.5 microm. The SC has an average power of approximately 23 mW, a pump-to-SC power conversion efficiency exceeding 50%, and a spectral power density of approximately -20 dBm/nm over a large fraction of the spectrum. The SC generation is initiated by the breakup of nanosecond laser diode pulses into femtosecond pulses through modulation instability, and the spectrum is then broadened primarily through fiber nonlinearities in approximately 2-7 m lengths of ZBLAN fiber. The SC long-wavelength edge is consistent with the intrinsic ZBLAN material absorption.  相似文献

Collisions between ultrashort pulses with different wavelengths are studied numerically. The relative delay, wavelength difference, focusing geometry, and chirp are used to accurately control the distance at which pulses undergo conditional collapse and generate plasma and white light. Factors that lead to a decrease in the width and the mean frequency of the spectrum of terahertz (THz) radiation that were observed in recent experiments on optical rectification of powerful (∼0.5 TW) femtosecond laser pulses with a tilted amplitude front in a lithium niobate crystal are considered. A simple method is proposed that allows one to avoid the above transformation of the spectrum and to ensure a high efficiency of generation of THz radiation when laser pulses with a power of several TW are used.  相似文献

We report on the generation of high power superbroad spectrum bunched noise-like pulses from a passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber ring laser without using the stretched-pulse technique. The maximum 3-dB spectral bandwidth of the noise-like pulses is about 93 nm with an energy of about 15 nJ. We further show numerically that the superbroad spectrum of the pulses is caused by the transform-limited feature of the pulses together with the Raman self-frequency shift effect. We study theoretically the spectral intensity evolutions of the femtosecond Gaussian and parabolic pulses with different initial pulse energies and compare the nonlinear compressions of these pulses based on a meter-long hollow-core fiber filled with neon for different initial pulse durations. The pulses are first coupled into gas-filled hollow-core fiber for spectrum broadening, then compressed by the optimal chirp compensation. The parabolic pulse possesses a shorter pulse duration, larger peak power, and cleaner wings than Gaussian pulse. The properties are useful for compressing the pulses and thus generating the high-energy, short-duration pulses.  相似文献

分析典型船舶水下辐射噪声实验数据,获取船舶水下辐射噪声功率谱特征,阐明了准周期随机声脉冲序列信号模型作为船舶水下辐射噪声模型的合理性和普适性,在此基础上,引入爆炸衰减型余弦脉冲信号作为该模型的基本组成单元,给予理论分析,据以数值构建船舶辐射噪声,并与海上试验获取的商船辐射噪声数据进行对比,结果明显一致,证明了该方法的有效性和实用性.  相似文献
