The potential energy curves (PECs) were calculated for the 27 Λ-S states and 73 Ω states of PO radical. The calculations were done using the CASSCF method, which was followed by the internally contracted multireference configuration interaction (icMRCI) approach. To improve the quality of PECs, core-valence correlation and scalar relativistic corrections as well as Davidson correction were included. Of the 27 Λ-S states, the 16Σ+ state was repulsive at any case. The 14Φ and 16Π states were bound, but they became repulsive with the spin-orbit coupling (SOC) effect accounted for. The 34Σ+, a4Π, C′2Δ, D′2Π, 14Δ, 12Φ, 16Σ+ and 16Π states were inverted with the SOC effect included. The F2Σ+ state had double wells. The avoided crossings existed between the B2Σ+ and F2Σ+ states, the F2Σ+ and 32Σ+ states, the C′2Δ and 22Δ states, the 14Δ and 24Δ states, the 24Δ and 34Δ states, the 24Π and 34Π states and the 34Π and 44Π states. The c4Σ+, 24Σ+, 34Σ+, 34Π, 44Π, 54Π, 34Δ, 14Φ and 16Π states were weakly bound, which well depths were within several hundred cm?1. The spectroscopic parameters were derived. The SOC effect on the spectroscopic properties was evaluated. The spectroscopic results obtained here could be expected to be reliably predicted ones.  相似文献

This work computed the potential energy curves of 19 Λ-S states, which arose from the first five dissociation limits of BC+ cation, B+(1Sg) + C(3Pg), B+(1Sg) + C(1Dg), B+(1Sg) + C(1Sg), C+(2Pu) + B(2Pu), and B+(1Sg) + C(5Su). The calculations were done for internuclear separations from 0.08 to 1.07 nm. The potential energy curves of 36 Ω states yielded from these Λ-S states were also calculated. Core-valence correlation and scalar relativistic correction, basis set extrapolation as well as Davidson correction were accounted for. Of these Λ-S states, the c1Σ+, D3Π, 21Π, 23Σ+, 21Δ, 31Σ+, and 41Σ+ had double wells; the 33Π and 31Π states had three wells; the C3Σ? and D3Π states were inverted with the spin-orbit coupling effect included; and the second wells of c1Σ+, D3Π and 31Σ+ states, the second and the third wells of 33Π state as well as the third well of 31Π state were very weakly bound, which well depths were smaller than 400 cm?1. The spectroscopic parameters were determined for all the states. The vibrational properties were predicted only for some weakly bound states. The spin-orbit coupling effect on the spectroscopic parameters was evaluated.  相似文献

The potential energy curves and dipole moments of the low-lying electronic states of LiF molecule are performed by using highly accurate multi-reference configuration interaction with Awcv5z basis sets. 1s, the inner shell of Li is considered as the closed orbit, which is used to characterise the spectroscopic properties of a manifold of singlet and triplet states. 16 electronic states correlate with two lowest dissociation channels Li(2S)+F(2P) and Li(2P)+F(2P) are investigated. Spectroscopic parameters of the ground state X1Σ+ have been evaluated and critically compared with the available experimental values and the other theoretical data. However, spectroscopic parameters of 13Π, 11Δ, 11Σ?, 11Π, 13Σ+, 23Σ+, 13Δ, 13Σ?, 23Π, 21Π, 33Π, 31Π and 33Σ+ states are studied for the first time. These 13 excited states have shallow potential wells, and the dispersion coefficients of these excited states are predicted. In additional, oscillator strengths of excited states at equilibrium distances are also predicted.  相似文献

The potential energy curves of the low-lying electronic states of BeH+ molecular ion are performed by using highly accurate multi-reference configuration interaction with AV5Z basis sets for H atom and ACV5Z basis set for Be atom, 1s inner shell of Be is considered as the core orbit and the active orbit, respectively, which are used to characterise the spectroscopic properties of a manifold of singlet and triplet states. Fourteen electronic states correlated with eight dissociation channels are investigated, we have found that the a3Σ+ and c3Σ+ both are bound states, the 33Σ+ possesses double wells, and the C1Σ+, 33Σ+, 23Π, 21Π, 11Δ, 13Δ, 23Δ and 21Δ states are studied for the first time. Transition dipole moment, Franck–Condon factors qυ′υ and Einstein coefficients Aυ′υ for A1Σ+–X1Σ+, 21Π–B1Π, c3Σ+–a3Σ+ and b3Π–a3Σ+ systems have been calculated. Radiative lifetime of A1Σ+–X1Σ+ band system has also been determined.  相似文献

Using the complete active space self-consistent field (CASSCF) method followed by the internally contracted multi-reference configuration interaction (MRCI) approach in combination with the correlation-consistent basis sets, this paper studies the potential energy curves of X2Σ+, 22Σ+, 32Σ+, 12Σ?, A2Π, 22Π, 32Π, 12Δ, 14Σ+, 24Σ+, 14Σ?, 14Π, 24Π and 14Δ Λ-S states of BeBr molecule and the corresponding 30 Ω states for the first time. All the Λ-S states correlate to the first two dissociation channels, Be(1Sg) + Br(2Pu) and Be(3Pu) + Br(2Pu), of BeBr molecule. Of these Λ-S states, the 32Π and 24Π are found to be repulsive without the spin–orbit coupling, whereas 14Π, 24Π, 32Π and 24Σ+ are found to be repulsive with the spin–orbit coupling included. A2Π and 22Σ+ possess the double well whether the spin–orbit coupling effect is included or not. Only 14Σ+, 14Σ?, 12Π and 22Π are found to be the inverted Λ-S states. The spin–orbit coupling is accounted for by the state interaction approach with Breit–Pauli Hamiltonian using the all-electron cc-pCVTZ basis set. The potential energy curves determined by the internally contracted MRCI method are corrected for size-extensivity errors by means of the Davidson correction. Core–valence correlation correction is calculated with a cc-pCVTZ basis set. Scalar relativistic correction is included using the third-order Douglas–Kroll Hamiltonian approximation at the level of cc-pVTZ basis set. The spectroscopic parameters of all the Λ-S and Ω bound states are evaluated. The spectroscopic parameters are compared with those reported in the literature. Fair agreement is found between the present results and available measurements. In particular, the energy splitting of 204.43 cm?1 in the A2Π Λ-S state agrees well with the measurements of 201 cm?1. Analyses demonstrate that the spectroscopic parameters reported here can be expected to be reliably predicted ones.  相似文献

Valence and high electronic states of PN have been calculated with accurate quantum chemistry methods. The variety of theoretical methods used includes complete active space self-consistent field, multireference configuration interaction and the newly developed explicitly correlated coupled cluster methods. The large correlation-consistent atomic orbitals basis sets AVQZ, AV5Z and AV(5+d)Z are used for the potential energy curves calculations in the bonding and long-range regions. The spectroscopic constants (Re, Be, ωe, ωexe, αe, De, Te) and the vibrational levels of the bound valence states (X1Σ+, A1Π, a3Σ+, d 3Δ, e3Σ?, C1Σ?, b3Π, D 1Δ and E1Σ+ and some higher bound states) are determined and compared with experimental findings when available. Significant spin–orbit interactions between triplet states and A1Π and E1Σ+ excited states are found near the crossing points of the potential energy curves and could explain predissociation phenomena and the perturbations of the vibrational levels experimentally observed for PN in their A1Π and E1Σ+ states.  相似文献

Using the CASSCF method followed by the internally contracted MRCI approach in combination with the correlation-consistent basis sets, the potential energy curves (PECs) are calculated for the X3Π, A3Σ-, B3Σ+, C3Π, E3Δ, a1Σ+, b1Π, c1Δ, d1Σ+, e1Π, 23Σ? and 33Σ? electronic states of AlN molecule for internuclear separations from 0.1 to 1.0 nm. All the electronic states correlate to the three dissociation channels, Al(2Pu) + N(4Su), Al(2Pu) + N(2Du) and Al(2Pu) + N(2Pu). Of these 12 electronic states, only the 23Σ? possesses the double well. The PECs determined by the internally contracted MRCI approach are corrected for size-extensivity errors by means of the Davidson correction. The convergent behavior of present calculations is observed with respect to the basis set and level of theory. The effect of core-valence correlation and scalar relativistic corrections on the spectroscopic parameters is discussed. Scalar relativistic correction calculations are performed by the third-order Douglas-Kroll Hamiltonian approximation at the level of cc-pVTZ basis set. Core-valence correlation corrections are included with a cc-pCVTZ basis set. All the PECs are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit. The spectroscopic parameters are evaluated by fitting the first ten vibrational levels when available, which are obtained by solving the ro-vibrational Schrödinger equation with the Numerov’s method. The spectroscopic parameters are compared with those reported in the literature. Excellent agreement is found between the present results and the measurements. Analyses show that the spectroscopic parameters reported in this paper can be expected to be reliably predicted ones. The Franck-Condon factors and radiative lifetimes of the transitions from the A3Σ?, B3Σ+, C3Π, a1Σ+ and b1Π electronic states to the ground state are calculated for several low vibrational levels, and some necessary discussion has been made.  相似文献

The potential energy curves (PECs) of 5 Ω states generated from the 18 Λ-S states (X 1 Σ +, A1Σ?, 11 Δ, 11 Π, 21Σ+, 21 Π, a 3 Σ +, 13 Δ, 13 Π, 13Σ?, 23Σ+, 23 Π, 15Σ+, 15 Π 25 Π, 15Σ?, 25Σ+ and 15 Δ) of PO+ cation are studied for the first time for internuclear separations from about 0.08 to 1.0 nm. Of these Λ-S states, only the 25Σ+ and 15 Δ are the replusive ones. The a 3 Σ +, 23Σ+, 15Σ?, 23 Π, 13 Δ, 25Σ+ , and 15 Δ are the inverted states with the spin-orbit coupling effect included. This paper studies the potential energy curves (PECs) of 27 Ω states generated from the 12 Λ-S states (X2Π, 12Σ+, 12Σ?, 22Σ?, A2Π, 12Δ, 14Σ+, 14Σ?, 24Σ?, 14Π, 24Π and 14Δ), which are attributed to the first dissociation channel of NF+ cation. Of these 12 states, only 22Σ? and 24Π are the repulsive ones, which are very different from those reported by G.-S. Kim and D. M. Hirst, Mol. Phys. 86, 1183–1193 (1995) G.-S. Kim and D.M. Hirst, Mol. Phys. 86, 11831193 (1995).[Taylor &; Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] [Google Scholar]. In addition, the 12Δ and 14Σ? states are found to possess the double well. 14Σ+, 14Σ? and 14Δ are found to be the inverted states with the spin–orbit coupling effect taken into account, and 12Σ+, 12Σ?, 12Δ, 14Σ+, 24Σ? and 14Δ are found to be the weakly bound states. The PECs are calculated by the complete active space self-consistent field method, which is followed by the internally contracted multireference configuration interaction approach with Davidson correction. The convergent behaviour of the present calculations is discussed with respect to the basis set and level of theory. All the PECs are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit. The spin–orbit coupling effect is accounted for by the state interaction method with the Breit–Pauli Hamiltonian. The spectroscopic parameters are evaluated and compared with available measurements and other theoretical results. The effect of spin–orbit coupling on the spectroscopic parameters is discussed. The Franck–Condon factors and radiative lifetimes of the transitions from the 14Π3/2, 14Σ?3/2, 12Δ3/2 and A2Π1/2 states to the X2Π1/2 state are calculated for several low vibrational levels and some necessary discussion is done. It shows that the spectroscopic results reported in this paper can be expected to be reliably predicted ones.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Multireference configuration interaction method was used in order to generate accurate potential energy curves of the OH, SH, OH? and SH? electronic states correlating to the three lowest dissociation limits. These curves were used in addition with core–valence correlation and scalar relativistic corrections for the calculations of accurate spectroscopic constants of bound states, which generally are found in excellent agreement with best available experimental and theoretical values in the literature. The spin–orbit interactions between electronic states have been calculated for the cases in which the couplings were assumed to be responsible for perturbations and used to explain the predissociation of A2Σ+ state of OH and SH by dissociative states 14Σ?, 12Σ? and 1 4Π. Dipole moment functions were also computed along internuclear distances and used to explain polarity of these molecules in different calculated electronic states. In addition, stability and metastability of electronic states (X 1Σ+, A1Π and a3Π) of OH? and SH? molecular anions have been studied relatively to curves of neutral parent electronic states. Finally, we have computed adiabatic electron affinity of OH and SH and these values have been found in very good agreement with the best experimental values and resort as among the best achieved values.  相似文献

Dispersed fluorescence studies on the 6Π-X6Δ and 6Φ−X6Δ systems of the FeF radical have resulted in the observation of vibrational progressions for transitions to the X6Δ state as well as at least two previously unobserved electronic states about 5000 cm−1 above the ground state. The states are assigned as the A6Π and B6Σ+ electronic states. The spin components of both electronic states were found to be heavily perturbed resulting in uneven splittings between them. A third, weak series was also observed but could not be assigned. The (0,0) band of the 6Π7/2B6Σ+5/2 transition at 398 nm was observed in absorption by laser induced fluorescence and its rotational structure was assigned. The spectra obtained were weak because of a poor population of the B6Σ+ state by the reaction used to form FeF. The levels were found to be markedly perturbed at high J values. Attempts were made to fit the data on the 6Π7/2-B6Σ5/2+ system to an effective Hamiltonian, but the presence of perturbations meant that the system is not well described by such a model.  相似文献

The pure rotational spectrum of 13C2HD was recorded in the range 100–700 GHz. Lines belonging to the ground vibrational state were observed from J = 1 to J = 11. Several absorption lines were also detected in the bending states v4 = 1 (Π), v5 = 1 (Π), v4 = 2 (Σ+ and Δ), v5 = 2 (Σ+ and Δ), v4 = v5 = 1 (Σ?, Σ+ and Δ), v4 = 3 (Π and Φ) and v5 = 3 (Π and Φ). The transition frequencies measured in this work were fitted together with all the infrared lines available in the literature. The global fit allowed a very accurate determination of the vibrational, rotational and ?-type interaction parameters for the bending states of this molecule.  相似文献

The electronic structure and the spectroscopic constants of the low lying electronic states of the NaK+ ionic molecule have been determined through using an ab initio approach involving a non-empirical pseudopotential for the Na and K cores and core valence correlation correction. The potential energy of nearly 26 electronic states of 2Σ+, 2Π, and 2Δ symmetries has been calculated up to their dissociation limit Na(4d) + K+ and Na+ + K(6s). Their spectroscopic constants (Re, De, Te, ωe, ωeχe, and Be) are derived and compared with the few available theoretical studies. A good agreement has been found for the ground state and few excited states with previous works. New potential energy curves were presented, for the first time, for the higher excited states. Numerous avoided crossing between electronic states of 2Σ+, 2Π symmetries have been localized and analyzed. Their existences are related to the charge transfer between the two ionic molecules Na+K and NaK+. Furthermore, we have determined the transition dipole moments for several states and analyzed the avoided crossings related to charge transfer between alkaline atoms.  相似文献

Potential energy curves(PECs) for the ground state(X 2 Σ +) and the four excited electronic states(A 2 Π,B 2 Π,C 2 Σ +,4 Π) of a BeH molecule are calculated using the multi-configuration reference single and double excited configuration interaction(MRCI) approach in combination with the aug-cc-pVTZ basis sets. The calculation covers the internuclear distance ranging from 0.07 nm to 0.70 nm,and the equilibrium bond length R e and the vertical excited energy T e are determined directly. It is evident that the X2Σ+,A2Π,B2Π,C2Σ+ states are bound and 4Π is a repulsive excited state. With the potentials, all of the vibrational levels and inertial rotation constants are predicted when the rotational quantum number J is set to be equal to zero(J = 0) by numerically solving the radial Schr¨odinger equation of nuclear motion. Then the spectroscopic data are obtained including the rotation coupling constant ω e,the anharmonic constant ωexe, the equilibrium rotation constant Be,and the vibration-rotation coupling constant αe.These values are compared with the theoretical and experimental results currently available, showing that they are in agreement with each other.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

This study computes the potential energy curves of the X1Σ+, A1Π, B1Δ, C1Σ+, and D1Π states of AlO+ cation and the transition dipole moments between them. The orders of the rotationless radiative lifetimes are 10–100?μs for the A1Π state, 1–1000?ms for the B1Δ state, 10?ns for the first well and 100?ns for the second well of the C1Σ+ state, and 1?μs for the D1Π state. Emissions of the B1Δ–A1Π and D1Π–C1Σ+ systems are so weak that they are hardly measured via spectroscopy, the emissions of the C1Σ+–X1Σ+, C1Σ+–A1Π, and D1Π–X1Σ+ systems are so strong that they can be detected readily, and emissions of the A1Π–X1Σ+ and D1Π–A1Π systems can be observed through spectroscopy only by a significant effort. There is a strong great similarity between spontaneous emissions of the A1Π–X1Σ+ system of the AlO+ cation and the A2Π–X2Σ+ system of the AlO radical. The emissions of the A2Π–X2Σ+ system of the AlO radical have been measured in outer space Therefore, it is highly possible that the emissions of the A1Π–X1Σ+ system of the AlO+ cation can be detected in the astrophysical media.  相似文献

The possibility of observing these transitions under experimental conditions is discussed.  相似文献

The diazocarbene radical, CNN, and the ions CNN+ and CNN? were investigated at a high level of theory. Very accurate structural parameters for the states X 3Σ? and A 3Π of CNN, and X 2Π of both CNN+ and CNN? were obtained with the UCCSD(T) method using correlated-consistent basis functions with extrapolations to the complete basis set limit, with valence only and also with all electrons correlated. Harmonic and anharmonic frequencies were obtained for all species and the Renner parameter and average frequencies evaluated for the Π states. At the UCCSD(T)/CBST-5 level of theory, Δf H(0 K) = 138.89 kcal/mol and Δf H(298 K) = 139.65 kcal/mol were obtained for diazocarbene; for the ionization potential and the electron affinity of CNN, 10.969 eV (252.95 kcal/mol), and 1.743 eV (40.19 kcal/mol), respectively, are predicted. Geometry optimization was also carried out with the CASSCF/MRCI/CBST-5 approach for the states X 3Σ?, A 3Π, and a 1Δ of CNN, and with the CASSCF/MRSDCI/aug-cc-pVTZ approach for the states b 1Σ+, c 1Π, d 1Σ?, and B 3Σ?, and excitation energies (Te) evaluated. Vertical energies were calculated for 15 electronic states, thus improving on the accuracy of the five transitions already described, and allowing for a reliable overview of a manifold of other states, which is expected to guide future spectroscopic experiments. This study corroborates the experimental assignment for the vertical transition X 3Σ?E 3Π.  相似文献

The potential energy curves (PECs) are calculated for the 20 Λ-S states (X2Πg, A2Πu, B2Σ?g, a4Πu, b4Σ?g, b′4Πg, c4Σ?u, 12Σ+g, 12Σ+u, 12Σ?u, 14Σ+g, 14Σ+u, 14Δg, 14Δu, 16Σ+g, 16Σ+u, 16Πg, 16Πu, 24Πg and 24Πu) of O2+ cation and their corresponding 58 Ω states. Of these 20 Λ-S states, the 16Πu state is found to be repulsive. The 12Σ+g, 14Σ+u, c4Σ?u and 14Δu states are found to possess the double well. The b4Σ?g, 16Σ+g, 14Σ+u, a4Πu, A2Πu, 16Πg and 24Πg states are found to be inverted with the spin–orbit coupling effect included. The b′4Πg, 16Πg, 16Σ+g, 14Σ+u and 14Δu states, and the second well of the 12Σ+g state are found to be the weakly bound states. The b′4Πg state is found to possess one well with one barrier. The PECs are calculated by the complete active space self-consistent field method, which is followed by the internally contracted multireference configuration interaction approach with the Davidson correction in combination with the aug-cc-pV6Z basis set. The core–valence correlation and scalar relativistic corrections are included. The convergent behaviour of present calculations is discussed with respect to the basis set and theoretical level. The spin–orbit coupling effect is accounted for. The PECs are extrapolated to the complete basis set limit. The spectroscopic parameters are evaluated, and compared with available measurements. It demonstrates that the spectroscopic parameters reported here can be expected to be reliably predicted ones.  相似文献

Electronic structure and spectroscopic properties of the low-lying electronic states of the SiC radical have been determined from the ab initio based configuration interaction calculations. Potential energy curves of 32 Λ-S states of singlet, triplet, and quintet spin multiplicities have been constructed. Spectroscopic constants (re, Te, and ωe) of 23 states within 6 eV are reported and compared with the existing data. The dipole moments (μe) of most of these states at their respective equilibrium bond lengths have been computed. Effects of the spin-orbit coupling on the spectroscopic properties of SiC have been studied. The E3Π state is found to be an important one which has not been studied before. A transition of the type E3Π-X3Π is predicted to take place in the range 25 000-26 000 cm−1. The partial radiative lifetimes for several electric dipole allowed transitions such as A3Σ+-X3Π, B3Σ+-X3Π, C3Π-X3Π, D3Δ-X3Π, E3Π-X3Π etc. have been reported.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Using ab initio quantum chemistry method, the feasibility of laser cooling ScO was investigated. The ground state Χ2Σ+ and low-lying excited states Α2Π, Α′2Δ are calculated at the multi-reference configuration interaction (MRCI) level of theory. The calculated spectroscopic constants are in good agreement with available theoretical and experimental results. At the MRCI level of theory with Davidson correction, the permanent dipole moments of the Χ2Σ+ and Α2Π states of ScO are also calculated. The highly diagonally distributed Franck–Condon factors and shorter radiative lifetime for the Α2Π→Χ2Σ+ transition are calculated with the corresponding potential energy curves and transition dipole moment. Although there is an intermediate state Α′2Δ, the loss will be dominated by branching to the intermediate electronic state Α′2Δ at a level of η < 1.4 × 10?4. These results demonstrate the probability of laser cooling of ScO, and we provide a promising laser-cooling scheme for ScO molecule.  相似文献
