In this paper, infrared (IR) and far-infrared (FIR) laser emissions from a TE CO2 laser pumped NH3 gas are reported. 8 IR laser emissions near the wavelength of 12 μm were observed by using 4 different CO2 laser lines for the pumping. 3 IR laser emissions in P-branch of vibrational-rotational band (ν2 → G) oscillated simultaneously in two pumping cases, i.e. pumping with the R(30) or R(16) line of 9.4 μm band from the CO2 laser. 26 FIR laser emissions (26.45 μm ~ 281.0 μm) were observed by using 12 different CO2 laser lines, and the 10 FIR emissions of them may be new laser emissions as far as we know.  相似文献

Frequency upconversion as a means of investigating the spectral characteristics of continuously tunable multiatmosphere TE CO2 lasers has been demonstrated. Phase matched mixing in proustite of 10 μm laser radiation and the output of a single-mode Nd:YAG laser has permitted Fabry-Pérot interferograms, at the 0.96 μm sum frequency, to be recorded with the aid of a conventional image converter tube.  相似文献

Continuous tuning of a single laser mode in an optically pumped high-pressure N2O/CO2 transfer laser over 5 cm-1 near 10.5 μm has been achieved. A spectrum of ethylene gas taken with this source indicates a resolution of 0.014 cm-1.  相似文献

The use of a continuously tunable CO2 laser to optically pump the NH3 laser via previously inaccessible absorption lines is described. Efficient laser action has thus been achieved in the 11–13 μm region on transitions formerly only obtained in buffered mixtures.  相似文献

Single crystals of Ca3 (VO4)2 have been grown by the Czochralski method. The refractive indices show that the crystals are phasematchable between 1.72 μm and 2.94 μm with favourable values for acceptance angle and spectral width of the incident laser beam in the entire phasematching range. The nonlinear optical coefficients have been measured by the Maker fringe method at a fundamental wavelength of 1.064 μm. They are comparable to those of KDP. Thus the crystals are potentially useful for frequency conversion of broadband or tunable laser sources as semiconductor and F-center lasers. They may also be installed in high f-number IR image converters.  相似文献

A 13C16O2 laser optically pumping a FIR laser has resulted in 17 new FIR cw emissions from 78.5 μm to 917 μm. The FIR media were: CD3OD, CH3OD, CD3OH, NH3 and 15NH3. Interesting effects have been observed with a combination of NH3 and CD3OD resulting in a new FIR emission. Two new FIR emissions at 181.5 μm and 355.5 μm have been observed with a 12C16O2 laser optically pumping CD3OD.  相似文献

A diode laser spectrometer has been used to measure line strengths for 143 transitions in the ν6 fundamental band of 12CH3D near 9 μm. These line-strength measurements have been used to derive a band strength for ν6 and ν3. The band strength derived for ν6 is 61.7 ± 1.8 cm?2 atm?1, and that for ν3 is 49.3 ± 1.4 cm?2 atm?1 at 395 K.  相似文献

采用溶胶-凝胶(sol-gel)工艺制备0.1 mol% Er3+掺杂Al2O3体系和SiO2-Al2O3复合体系粉末. 实验结果表明:5 mol%的SiO2复合加入Al2O3抑制γ→θ和θ→α相转变. 掺0.1 mol%Er3+:Al2O3体系粉末,900℃烧结,在1.47—1.63μm波段内光致发光(PL)谱为中心波长1.53 μm、半高宽56 nm的单一宽峰,1000—1200℃烧结,劈裂为多峰PL谱. 掺0.1 mol%Er3+:SiO2-Al2O3复合体系粉末,在高达1200℃烧结,仍保持中心波长1.53 μm的单一宽峰PL谱,由于—OH更完全的脱除,PL强度较900℃烧结Al2O3体系,SiO2-Al2O3复合体系均提高1个数量级. 关键词: 2-Al2O3复合体系')" href="#">SiO2-Al2O3复合体系 掺铒 溶胶-凝胶工艺 光致发光  相似文献

Peak powers near 1 watt have been observed on the CH3OH laser line at 570.5 μm as well as on each of three new CH3OH laser lines produced by pumping a far infrared guided wave cavity with a 0.5 MW helical CO2-TEA laser. The new lines have wavelengths of 58.1, 65.1 and 451.9 μm. For all four lines the optimum CH3OH pressure was between 2.3 and 3 torr, and laser action at 65.1 μm persisted up to a pressure in excess of 9 torr.  相似文献

The design and operation of a novel optically pumped molecular gas laser cell, which uses geometrical coupling and is compatible with high energy unstable resonator CO2 laser pump beams, is described. The optical transmission spectra from 0.3 to 11 μm of relaxor ferroelectric single crystals (1−x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 (PMN-xPT) were systematically studied at room temperature in this paper. The crystal is transparent between 0.45 and 5.5 μm and becomes completely absorbing around 0.4 μm in near UV region and 10 μm in infrared region. But the wavelength cutoff in near UV is much sharper than the long wavelength cutoff. As compared with other configurations, tetragonal single crystals possess the optimal transmission properties. The optical transmittance in the wavelength region from 0.45 to 5.5 μm is about 70%. The results show that tetragonal PMN-xPT single crystals are promising for a wide range of optical applications. Some discussions about the oxygen-octahedra structure that determines the basic energy level of the crystals are also presented on the optical properties of PMN-xPT single crystals.  相似文献

本文报道了用透射电子显微镜实地观察铌酸钡钠和钽酸锂铁电相变的实验结果。在室温电畴的尺寸为0.2—1μm。当温度增加到接近居里点时,形成准规则排列的微畴结构,其尺寸为几百埃,实验结果用稍微修正了的模型进行了解释。在钽酸锂中当接近铁电相变温度时,发现了强烈的辐照损伤,这可能跟相变的软模有关。 关键词:  相似文献

The absorption of CO2 laser pulses by low pressure SF6 gas has been investigated over a wide range of energy fluxes. For laser energy fluxes of 0.01–1 J cm-2 the effective absorption cross section varies between 0.2 and 2 × 10-18 cm2. For each laser line an individual dependence on the energy is found and in some cases minor changes in the absorption behaviour seem to occur around 0.1 J cm-2. SF6 excited with an average vibrational energy content of up to 20 photons/molecule does not absorb measurable amounts of 9.4 μm laser light. The influence of various SF6 and Ar pressures on the temporal shape of the transmitted pulses has been investigated.  相似文献

Twenty-five new laser lines have been obtained in the wavelength region from 155 to 830 μm by optically pumping the CD2Cl2 (deuterated dichloromethane) molecule with a CW CO2 laser having a tunability range of 300 MHz. The wavelength, polarization relative to that of CO2 pumping radiation, and offset relative to the CO2 center frequency were determined for all of the new lines and some other already known laser emissions. Superradiant FIR emission in both D2O and CH3F has been investigated using a tunable single-mode CO2 TEA laser as optical pump, and results compared with multimode pumping. The frequency offset of the absorbing transitions has been measured and compared to other work. Estimates of the dipole transition moments were also obtained from saturation broadening data. Fine structure of the CH3F (Q12, K) lines have been resolved and compared with theory. High quantum conversion efficiencies were observed for several lines in D2O: 38% (99 μm), 20% (385 μm) and 12.5% (121 μm) and in CH3F 21% (496 μm).  相似文献

Nd:Sr5(PO4)3F, known as Nd:S-FAP, is a new material for efficient and miniature diode-laser pumped solid-state lasers. By using a laser-diode pump operating at 805.4 nm, Nd:S-FAP has been successfully lased at 1.328 μm. A slope efficiency of 33.5% and a laser threshold of 18.5 mW have been measured. The theoretical formulas for threshold power and slope efficiency were given and the theoretical estimation agreed with the experimental result.  相似文献
