Fragmentation patterns for dissociative recombination of the triatomic hydrogen molecular ion H(3)(+) in the vibrational ground state have been measured using the storage ring technique and molecular fragment imaging. A broad distribution of vibrational states in the H(2) fragment after two-body dissociation and a large predominance of nearly linear momentum geometries after three-body dissociation are found. The fragmentation results are directly contrasted with Coulomb explosion imaging data on the initial H(3)(+) geometry, compared to existing wave-packet calculations, and considered in the light of a simple physical picture.  相似文献

The above-threshold dissociation (ATD) of the HD+ molecular ion in femtosecond laser field is investigated theoretically. The energy-dependent distribution of the dissociated fragments is calculated using an asymptoticflow expression in the momentum space. The calculations show that the ATD of HD+ is sensitive to the initial vibrational level of ground electronic state. Multiphoton ATDs can be observed in the dissociation processes. The dynamics phenomena are interpreted by using the concept of light-dressed potential.  相似文献

The reactivity of ClMn(H(2)O)(+) towards small organic compounds (L) was examined in a Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometer. The organic compounds studied are aliphatic and aromatic alcohols, aliphatic amines, ketones, an epoxide, an ether, a thiol and a phosphine. All the reactions lead to the formation of the ClMn(H(2)O)(L)(+) complex, which dissociates by loss of the H(2)O molecule. In general, the reactions were found to occur with high efficiencies (>85%), indicating them to be exothermic. Electron transfer was also observed between ClMn(H(2)O)(+) and compounds with low ionization energies (IE), to form the molecular ion (L(+?)) of the analyte. Based on these observations, the IE of ClMn(H(2)O)(+) is approximated to be 8.1?±?0.1 eV. Thus, the utility of ClMn(H(2)O)(+) as a chemical ionization reagent in mass spectrometry is expected to be limited to organic compounds with IEs greater than 8 eV.  相似文献

The energy-resolved rate coefficient for the dissociative recombination (DR) of H(3)(+) with slow electrons has been measured by the storage-ring method using an ion beam produced from a radiofrequency multipole ion trap, employing buffer-gas cooling at 13 K. The electron energy spread of the merged-beams measurement is reduced to 500 microeV by using a cryogenic GaAs photocathode. This and a previous cold- measurement jointly confirm the capability of ion storage rings, with suitable ion sources, to store and investigate H(3)(+) in the two lowest, (J,G) = (1,1) and (1,0) rotational states prevailing also in cold interstellar matter. The use of para-H(2) in the ion source, expected to enhance para-H(3)(+) in the stored ion beam, is found to increase the DR rate coefficient at meV electron energies.  相似文献

The spectrum of the nu(5) cis-bending vibration of ground state (X(2)Pi(u)) C(2)H(2)(+) has been recorded applying the method of laser induced reactions in a low-temperature 22-pole ion trap. It is obtained by counting the number of products of the reaction C(2)H(2)(+) (v(5) = 1) + H(2)--> C(2)H(3)(+) + H as a function of the laser wavelength. The vibronic transitions Delta-Pi and Sigma-Pi with their corresponding spin-orbit and Renner-Teller substructure have been observed. Using a perturbative analysis, the vibrational frequency has been determined to omega(5) = (710 +/- 4) cm(-1) and the Renner-Teller parameter epsilon(5) is on the order of 3 x 10(-2).  相似文献

First-principles computations and experimental measurements of transition energies are carried out for vibrational overtone lines of the triatomic hydrogen ion H(3)(+) corresponding to floppy vibrations high above the barrier to linearity. Action spectroscopy is improved to detect extremely weak visible-light spectral lines on cold trapped H(3)(+) ions. A highly accurate potential surface is obtained from variational calculations using explicitly correlated Gaussian wave function expansions. After nonadiabatic corrections, the floppy H(3)(+) vibrational spectrum is reproduced at the 0.1 cm(-1) level up to 16600 cm(-1).  相似文献

利用非波恩-奥本海默近似的三维含时量子波包法,理论研究了氢分子离子在强激光场中的解离动力学.通过分析H2+在不同的初始振动态(ν=0–9)和激光场强度下的解离核动能谱,得到了H2+的光解离机理及其随激光场的变化规律.研究结果表明:当激光场的强度I1=5.0×1013 W/cm2时,分子的解离来源于高振动态ν=5–9,其解离机理主要是通过键软化、键硬化和阈下解离过程.当激光场的强度I2=1.0×1014 W/cm2 时,H2+在低振动态ν=3–4上的阈上解离起主导作用,而高振动态的键软化、键硬化和阈下解离所占的比重明显地下降了.研究结果为后续的量子调控的实验研究提供了科学的理论预测和指导. 关键词: 光解离 氢分子离子 含时波包法 核动能谱  相似文献

Quantum electrodynamic effects have been systematically tested in the progression of rotational quantum states in the X?1Σ(g)(+), v=0 vibronic ground state of molecular hydrogen. High-precision Doppler-free spectroscopy of the EF?1Σ(g)(+)-X?1Σ(g)(+) (0,0) band was performed with 0.005 cm(-1) accuracy on rotationally hot H2 (with rotational quantum states J up to 16). QED and relativistic contributions to rotational level energies as high as 0.13 cm(-1) are extracted, and are in perfect agreement with recent calculations of QED and high-order relativistic effects for the H2 ground state.  相似文献

用EAM方法(embeded-atommethod)研究H_2在Ni,Pd与Cu的(100),(110)与(111)面上的解离吸附.首先通过拟合单个H原子在Ni,Pd与Cu不同表面上的吸附能和吸附键长,得到H与这些金属表面相互作用的EAM势,然后计算H_2在这些表面上以不同方式进行解离吸附时的活化势垒E_a,吸附热q_(ad)与吸附键长R.并给出H_2在(110)面上解离吸附的势能曲线.计算结果表明H_2的解离吸附与衬底种类、衬底表面取向及解离方式有关.H_2在Ni表面上解离时活化势垒很低,而在Cu表面解 关键词:  相似文献

采用了第一性原理研究了H2S在Cr(111)面的吸附解离过程,利用吸附能、吸附构型和偏态密度图(PDOS)研究了H2S及其解离产物在Cr(111)面上的吸附情况,都偏向倾斜吸附在Cr(111)面.同时研究了HS/H和S/H共吸附情况,得到共吸附物质在Cr(111)面上有明显的相互作用.最后使用线性同步和二次同步变换方法确定了解离反应的过渡态,了解到第一、二步解离的活化能分别为1.65 eV、0.82 eV,H2S分子在Cr(111)面上的解离过程是放热反应,反应能为-2.90 eV.  相似文献

Effects of 2-amino-5-(ethylthio)-1,3,4-thiadiazole (ATD) on copper corrosion as a corrosion inhibitor in de-aerated, aerated and oxygenated 3% NaCl solutions have been studied using potentiodynamic polarization, potentiostatic current-time, electrochemical impedance spectroscopic (EIS), weight loss and pH measurements along with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) investigations. Potentiodynamic polarization measurements indicated that the presence of ATD in these solutions greatly decreases cathodic, anodic and corrosion currents. Potentiostatic current-time measurements and SEM/EDX investigations also showed that the ATD molecules are strongly adsorbed on the copper surface preventing it from being corroded easily. EIS measurements revealed that the charge transfer resistance increases due to the presence of ATD, and this effect increases with oxygen content in the solution. Weight loss measurements gave an inhibition efficiency of about 83% with 1.0 mM ATD present, increasing to about 94% at the ATD concentration of 5.0 mM. Results together are internally consistent with each other, showing that ATD is a good mixed-type inhibitor for copper corrosion with its inhibition efficiency increasing in the order of oxygenated > aerated > de-aerated 3% NaCl solutions.  相似文献

The self-chemical ionization of diethylzinc is examined by Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) mass spectrometry and semiempirical molecular orbital calculations. Electron impact of diethylzinc neutral produces the radical cation, C(4)H(15)Zn(+) (m/z x 122), which reacts further with the neutral (C(2)H(5))(2)Zn to give the following product ions: Zn(+) (m/z x 64), C(2)H(5)Zn(+) (m/z x 93), C(4)H(9)Zn(+) (m/z x 121), C(4)H(11)Zn(2)(+) (m/z x 187), and C(6)H(15)Zn(2)(+) (m/z x 215). To determine the structure and pathways for production of these ions, monoisotopic (12)C(4)H(15)(64)Zn(+), (64)Zn(+) and (12)C(2)H(5)(64)Zn(+) were individually isolated and reacted with the neutral background. We also performed semiempirical molecular orbital calculations (ZINDO/1). The molecular orbital calculations and experimental data are consistent in predicting that the ethyl group on the diethylzinc cation carries the positive charge. Gold phosphides show unique optical or semiconductor properties and there are extensive high technology applications, e.g. in laser diodes, etc. In spite of the various AuP structures known, the search for new materials is wide. Laser ablation synthesis is a promising screening and synthetic method. Generation of gold phosphides via laser ablation of red phosphorus and nanogold mixtures was studied using laser desorption ionisation time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LDI TOFMS). Gold clusters Au(m)(+) (m?=?1 to ~35) were observed with a difference of one gold atom and their intensities were in decreasing order with respect to m. For P(n)(+) (n?=?2 to ~111) clusters, the intensities of odd-numbered phosphorus clusters are much higher than those for even-numbered phosphorus clusters. During ablation of P-nanogold mixtures, clusters Au(m)(+) (m?=?1-12), P(n)(+) (n?=?2-7, 9, 11, 13-33, 35-95 (odd numbers)), AuP(n)(+) (n?=?1, 2-88 (even numbers)), Au(2)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-7, 14-16, 21-51 (odd numbers)), Au(3)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-6, 8, 9, 14), Au(4)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-9, 14-16), Au(5)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-6, 14, 16), Au(6)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-6), Au(7)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-7), Au(8)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-6, 8), Au(9)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-10), Au(10)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-8, 15), Au(11)P(n)(+) (n?=?1-6), and Au(12)P(n)(+) (n?=?1, 2, 4) were detected in positive ion mode. In negative ion mode, Au(m)(-) (m?=?1-5), P(n)(-) (n?=?2, 3, 5-11, 13-19, 21-35, 39, 41, 47, 49, 55 (odd numbers)), AuP(n)(-) (n?=?4-6, 8-26, 30-36 (even numbers), 48), Au(2)P(n)(-) (n?=?2-5, 8, 11, 13, 15, 17), A(3) P(n)(-) (n?=?6-11, 32), Au(4)P(n)(-) (n?=?1, 2, 4, 6, 10), Au(6)P(5)(-), and Au(7)P(8)(-) clusters were observed. In both modes, phosphorus-rich Au(m)P(n) clusters prevailed. The first experimental evidence for formation of AuP(60) and gold-covered phosphorus Au(12)P(n) (n?=?1, 2, 4) clusters is given. The new gold phosphides generated might inspire synthesis of new Au-P materials with specific properties.  相似文献

The utility of triple-quantum (TQ)-filtered (23)Na NMR spectroscopy for discriminating between intra- and extracellular Na(+)(Na(i)(+) and Na(e)(+), respectively) in a solid tumor in vivo was evaluated using TmDOTP(5-) as a (23)Na shift reagent. Infusion of 80 mM TmDOTP(5-) without added Ca(2+) produced baseline-resolved Na(i)(+) and Na(e)(+) peaks in both single-quantum (SQ) and TQ-filtered (23)Na spectra. The Na(i)(+) signal represented 22+/-4% of the SQ spectrum, but 59+/-10% of the TQ-filtered spectrum. Therefore, the Na(i)(+) contribution in TQ-filtered spectra is much higher than in SQ spectra. Both SQ and TQ-filtered Na(i)(+) signals increased by about 75% 1 h after sacrificing the animal. The TQ-filtered relaxation times did not change during this time, indicating that changes observed in TQ-filtered spectra collected with a preparation time of 3 ms represent changes in the concentration of sodium ions contributing to the TQ-filtered signal. Similar experiments were conducted without TmDOTP(5-) to determine changes in the Na(e)(+) signal in the absence of the shift reagent. The changes in total SQ and TQ-filtered signals 1 h after sacrificing the animal showed that the SQ Na(e)(+) signal decreased by approximately 35%, while the TQ-filtered Na(e)(+) signal did not change significantly. This demonstrates that the TQ-filtered (23)Na signal is relatively insensitive to changes in Na(e)(+) content. To our knowledge, this work represents the first evaluation of multiple-quantum-filtered (23)Na spectroscopy to discriminate between intra- and extracellular Na(+) in a solid tumor in vivo.  相似文献

The steering of electron motion in molecules is accessible with waveform-controlled few-cycle laser light and may control the outcome of light-induced chemical reactions. An optical cycle of light, however, is much shorter than the duration of the fastest dissociation reactions, severely limiting the degree of control that can be achieved. To overcome this limitation, we extended the control metrology to the midinfrared studying the prototypical dissociative ionization of D(2) at 2.1 μm. Pronounced subcycle control of the directional D(+) ion emission from the fragmentation of D(2)(+) is observed, demonstrating unprecedented charge-directed reactivity. Two reaction pathways, showing directional ion emission, could be observed and controlled simultaneously for the first time. Quantum-dynamical calculations elucidate the dissociation channels, their observed phase relation, and the control mechanisms.  相似文献

We report the first observation, together with a mechanism for such an observation, of a steplike feature in the pulsed field ionization photoelectron measurement of CH4(C2H2), marking the 0 K dissociation threshold for the formation of CH3(+) + H(C2H(+) + H) from CH4(C2H2). The nonexistence of a step in the spectrum for C 2H4 at its dissociation threshold for C2H2(+) formation provides strong support for the proposed mechanism. This experiment shows that, for a range of molecules, where the ion dissociation lifetimes near the dissociation thresholds are <10(-7) s, pulsed field ionization photoelectron measurements will yield not only highly accurate ionization energies, but also 0 K dissociation thresholds.  相似文献

We report the results of several studies of the Lambda(c)(+)pi(+)pi(-)X final state in continuum e(+)e(-) annihilation data collected by the Belle detector. An analysis of angular distributions in Lambda(c)(2880)(+)-->Sigma(c)(2455)(0,++)pi(+,-) decays strongly favors a Lambda(c)(2880)(+) spin assignment of 5/2 over 3/2 or 1/2. We find evidence for Lambda(c)(2880)(+)-->Sigma(c)(2520)(0,++)pi(+,-) decay and measure the ratio of Lambda(c)(2880)(+) partial widths Gamma(Sigma(c)(2520)pi)/Gamma(Sigma(c)(2455)pi)=0.225+/-0.062+/-0.025. This value favors the Lambda(c)(2880)(+) spin-parity assignment of 5/2(+) over 5/2(-). We also report the first observation of Lambda(c)(2940)(+)-->Sigma(c)(2455)(0,++)pi(+,-) decay and measure Lambda(c)(2880)(+) and Lambda(c)(2940)(+) mass and width parameters. These studies are based on a 553 fb(-1) data sample collected at or near the Upsilon(4S) resonance at the KEKB collider.  相似文献

We experimentally obtained a direct image of the nuclear wave functions of H(2)(+) by dissociating the molecule via electron attachment and determining the vibrational state using the cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy technique. Our experiment visualizes the nodal structure of different vibrational states. We compare our results to the widely used reflection approximation and to quantum simulations and discuss the limits of position measurements in molecules imposed by the uncertainty principle.  相似文献

We report the observation of the radiative decay B+-->K1(1270)(+) gamma using a data sample of 140 fb(-1) taken at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. We find the branching fraction to be B(B+-->K1(1270)(+)gamma)=(4.3+/-0.9(stat.)+/-0.9(syst.))x10(-5) with a significance of 7.3sigma. We find no significant signal for B+-->K1(1400)(+)gamma and set an upper limit B(B+-->K1(1400)(+)gamma)<1.5 x 10(-5) at the 90% confidence level. We also measure inclusive branching fractions for B+-->K+pi+pi-gamma and B0-->K0pi+pi-gamma in the mass range 1 GeV/c(2)相似文献
