We developed a highly efficient diode side-pumped Nd:YAG ceramic laser with a diffusive reflector as an optical pump cavity. A maximum output power of 211.6 W was obtained with an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 48.7%. This corresponds to the highest conversion efficiency in the side-pumped ceramic rod. Thermal effects of the Nd:YAG ceramic rod were analyzed in detail through the measurements of laser output powers and beam profiles near the critically unstable region. A M2 beam quality factor of 18.7 was obtained at the maximum laser output power. 相似文献

A diode-end-pumped continuous-wave (CW) Nd:YAG laser emitting at 1123 nm is realized efficiently in a 25-mm-long cavity. A
composite Nd:YAG (cNd:YAG) crystal is selected as the gain medium. With an incident diode power of 26.1 W, an output power
of up to 9.3 W is obtained, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 35.6%. The laser performances
at 1123 nm are compared between composite Nd:YAG and common Nd:YAG crystals. The results show that composite Nd:YAG is a better

A corner-pumped Nd:YAG/YAG composite slab continuous-wave laser operating at 1064 nm,1074 nm,1112 nm,1116 nm,and 1123 nm simultaneously and a laser that is tunable at these wavelengths are reported for the first time.The maximum output power of the five-wavelength laser is 5.66 W with an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 11.3%.After a birefringent filter is inserted in the cavity,the five wavelengths can be separated successfully by rotating the filter.The maximum output powers of the 1064 nm,1074 nm,1112 nm,1116 nm,and 1123 nm lasers are 1.51 W,1.3 W,1.27 W,0.86 W,and 0.72 W,respectively. 相似文献

采用侧面环绕均匀排布的紧凑型抽运结构,实现了激光二极管阵列侧向抽运Nd∶YAG陶瓷激光器高效率激光输出。理论计算得到谐振腔输出镜的最佳输出耦合透射率为22.2%,并在输出耦合镜透射率为22%的条件下,用掺杂原子数分数为1%,尺寸为5mm×75mm的Nd∶YAG陶瓷棒,获得了平均功率大于230W的准连续1064nm激光输出,其光光效率和斜率效率分别高达52.4%和61%。并测得输出激光脉冲宽度为160μs,光谱线宽略小于0.8nm,光束发散角为16mrad。实验结果显示,Nd∶YAG陶瓷激光器输出功率Nd∶YAG单晶激光器相当。 相似文献

研制一台激光二极管(LD)侧面抽运双棒串接准连续Nd∶YAG折叠腔高功率绿光激光器,理论分析了热致双折射效应对系统的影响,并对用石英旋转片补偿前后的情况进行模拟对比。在考虑了补偿后的情况下设计了热稳定谐振腔。实验中采用两个串接的由30个20 W的LD阵列侧面抽运的Nd∶YAG棒和Ⅱ类临界相位匹配HGTR-KTP晶体,在抽运电流均为21.6 A,重复频率为27.2 kHz时,获得了最大平均输出功率为164 W,脉冲宽度为130 ns的532 nm绿光输出,光-光转换效率为13.7%,测得光束质量因子为M2x=9.52, M2y=9.86,不稳定度为2.3%。实验结果显示,经补偿后的激光系统能在宽的稳区范围内稳定运转。 相似文献

A corner-pumped type is a new pumping type in the
diode-pumped all-solid-state lasers, which has the advantages of
high pump efficiency and favourable pump uniformity. A highly
efficient corner-pumped Nd:YAG/YAG composite slab laser is
demonstrated in this paper. The maximal continuous-wave output power
of the 1064~nm laser is up to 18.57~W with a slope efficiency and an
optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 44.9{\%} and 39.8{\%},
respectively. Inserting an acousto-optic $Q$-switch in the cavity,
the highest average output power of the quasi-continuous wave
1064~nm laser of 6.73~W is obtained at a repetition rate of
9.26~kHz. The experimental results show that a corner-pumped type is
a kind of feasible schedules in the design of diode-pumped
all-solid-state lasers with low or medium output powers. 相似文献

报道了一种适合中小功率输出的全固态激光器的角抽运方法, 抽运光从板条激光器中板条晶体的角部入射, 可获得较高的抽运效率和较好的抽运均匀性.采用单角抽运方式, 首次进行了角抽运Nd:YAG复合板条946 nm连续运转激光器的实验研究. 激光腔采用紧凑型平凹直腔结构, 腔长仅为20 mm. 当注入抽运功率为50 W时, 946 nm激光连续输出功率最高达5.29 W, 光光转换效率为10.6%, 斜效率为12%. 整台激光器结构紧凑, 调谐简单, 成本低, 具有广阔的应用前景.

We design an efficient passively Q-switched laser using a composite YAG/Yb:YAG crystal as the laser gain medium and a Cr4+:YAG crystal as a saturable absorber. We obtain an average output power of 1.81 W in 1030 nm laser at an absorbed pump power of 4.8 W, corresponding to an optical-to-optical efficiency of 37.7% and a slope efficiency of 47.3%. The pulsed laser has a repetition rate of about 28.6 kHz and a pulse width of 15.8 ns, with the highest peak power of 4 kW. In addition, using a LBO as the intracavity frequency doubler, we obtain a maximum power of 246 mW in 515 nm pulsed laser at an absorbed pump power of 3.8 W. 相似文献

Diffusion bonded Nd:YAG/Cr:YAG composite laser crystal has been employed to perform a compact diode-pumped passively Q-switched laser. At the incident pump power of 3.3 W and pulse repetition rate of 16.3 kHz, the maximum average output of 592 mW has been obtained, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 18%. Stable passively Q-switched operation with peak power of 6.5 kW and pulse duration of 6 ns was also achieved. It has been experimentally revealed that Nd:host/Cr:YAG composite structure is a promising material for compact cost-effective Q-switched laser sources with high-peak power and short pulse duration. An efficient and compact red laser at 660 nm is generated by intracavity frequency doubling of continuous wave (CW) laser operation of a diode pumped Nd:YAG laser at 1319 nm under the condition of suppression the higher gain transition near 1064 and 1319 nm under the condition of suppression the higher gain transition near 1064 and 1338 nm. With 40 W diode pump power and a frequency doubling crystal LBO, as high as 8.6 W of CW output power at 660 nm is achieved, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 21.5% and the output power stability in 8 h is better than 2.73%. We demonstrate a high power continuous wave (CW) infrared laser operated at 1112 nm from a diode side-pumped Nd:YAG crystal
with a plano-plano symmetrical resonator. By inserting an etalon, an output power of as high as 93.7 W at 1112 nm was obtained
at the pump power of 570 W with conversion efficiency of 16.4%. The beam quality factor of M2 was measured to be about 17. The wavelength tunable performance of the etalon was also analyzed. To the best of our knowledge,

通过优化平-凹-平三镜折叠腔结构设计,利用大功率半导体激光器侧面抽运、Ⅱ类相位匹配KTP晶体腔内倍频,获得高效高功率连续绿色激光输出.当抽运电流约为36 A时,得到最高36.6 W的连续绿光激光输出,对应的光—光转换效率为8.71%.在输出功率33 W时测量激光功率稳定性,其功率不稳定度为0.27%.用刀口法测量了激光器高输出功率时的光束质量,光束质量因子小于8.对高功率抽运情况下三镜折叠腔的像散补偿、失调灵敏度和基模在腔内分布情况做了数值模拟.

High-power high-stability Q-switched green laser with intracavity frequency doubling of diode-pumped composite ceramic Nd:YAG laser 下载免费PDF全文
We successfully obtain high-average-power high-stability Q-switched green laser based on diode-side-pumped composite ceramic Nd:YAG in a straight plano-concave cavity. The temperature distribution in composite ceramic Nd:YAG crystal is numerically analyzed and compared with that of conventional Nd:YAG crystal. By use of a composite ceramic Nd:YAG rod and a type-II high gray track resistance KTP (HGTR-KTP) crystal, a green laser with an average output power of 165 W is obtained at a repetition rate of 25 kHz, with a diode-to-green optical conversion of 14.68%, and a pulse width of 162 ns. To the best of our knowledge, both the output power and optical-to-optical efficiency are the highest values for green laser systems with intracavity frequency doubling of this novel composite ceramic Nd:YAG laser to date. The power fluctuation at around 160 W is lower than 0.3% in 2.5 hours. 相似文献

Highly efficient continuous wave (CW) green beam generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a diode side-pumped Nd:YAG laser using a single pump head based on a copper-coated flow tube in a V-shaped cavity geometry has been demonstrated. A maximum 30.5 W of CW green power was obtained at a total diode pumping power of 260 W corresponding to 11.7% conversion efficiency of diode pump power to CW green power and 4.7% conversion efficiency of electrical power to CW green power. The performance of the laser by considering the pump power induced thermal lensing effect and the M2-parameter at the fundamental wavelength has been analyzed. 相似文献

as an end-pump source. We chose a Brewster-angle-cut Nd:YAG laser host crystal, due to its two salient features as follow:

all-solid-state single-wavelength laser operating at 1357 nm is demonstrated with a diode-end-pumped Brewster-cut Nd:YAG laser.
The laser had a 1.03-W maximum output power under an incident pump power of 15.0 W, a 12.7% slope efficiency, a 6.9% optical-to-optical
conversion efficiency, a 0.14-nm spectral linewidth and a 3% power-output stability within 30 min.

We report a diode pumped single frequency Tm:YAG laser with two coated fused silica etalons as mode selectors. The maximum
single frequency output power was 681 mW with the pumping power of 4.83 W. The slope efficiency of single-frequency laser
was 20.5% and the optical-to-optical conversion efficiency was 14.2%. According to the experimental results, we developed
a prototype with the maximum single frequency output power of 249 mW and the slope efficiency of 23.1%. The frequency tuning
was investigated by changing the temperature of the crystal. A tuning coefficient of 2.57 GHz/°C was obtained. The beam propagation
