Wavelength-resolved TSL measurements after x-ray irradiation at room temperature were performed on undoped, Ce- and (Ce, Zr)-doped Lu 3 Al 5 O 12 crystals. Several glow peaks were observed in the 20-450 v C temperature region, whose intensities and emission spectra are influenced by doping. Namely, the TSL spectra are governed by defect and trace impurity-related emissions in the undoped crystal, while only the Ce 3+ emission is detected in the doped crystals. Moreover, EPR measurements performed at 12 v K revealed typical spectra of Ce 3+ (4f 1 , S =1/2) occupying Lu 3+ substitutional positions. In situ light irradiation (250-330 v nm) of the crystals results in a step-like decrease of the Ce 3+ EPR intensity. Such a behaviour can reflect a creation of Ce 4+ ions under UV irradiation or an increase of the Ce 3+ population in the excited (5d) state.  相似文献

The set of samples of YAlO 3 :Ce further codoped by ZrO 2 at several concentrations from 0 v ppm up to 1000 v ppm (grown in CRYTUR Ltd., Turnov, Czech Republic) was irradiated 30 v min at homogeneous gamma-radiation field, produced when irradiating W target by 21 v MeV electrons beam from microtrone accelerator. Dose rates were ranging from 12 to 33 v rad/min. Induced absorption spectra have three absorption bands. Temporal characteristics of the build-up and recovery of the induced absorption are evaluated using simple kinetics models. The obtained results are discussed.  相似文献

Wavelength resolved thermally stimulated luminescence (TSL) measurements were performed on BaY 2 F 8 :1.8 v mol% Ce crystals after X-ray irradiation at 10 v K and at 300 v K, in order to obtain preliminary information about both trap levels and recombination centres. After irradiation at 10 v K, the TSL glow curve shows the presence of a strong peak at 50 v K, together with additional structures at approximately 20 and 170 v K. The TSL spectrum is dominated by the characteristic doublet emission due to transitions from the lowest energy level of the 5d configuration to the spin-orbit split 2 F ground state of Ce 3+ . Above RT, the glow curve exhibits a peak at 60 v C, whose spectrum is again dominated by Ce 3+ emission. The TSL emission is in accordance with radio-luminescence (RL) spectra performed in the 10-300 v K region. Moreover, RL spectra at temperatures lower than 200 v K display an additional weak high energy band at around 4.5 v eV assigned to host lattice transitions.  相似文献

用高温固相法制备了Sr_7Zr(PO_4)_6∶Tb~(3+)、Sr_7Zr(PO_4)_6∶Ce~(3+)及Sr_7Zr(PO_4)_6∶Tb~(3+),Ce~(3+)一系列荧光粉,并通过X射线衍射仪及荧光光谱仪分析了其结构和发光性质。结果表明,Sr_7Zr(PO_4)_6∶Tb~(3+)呈现特征绿色发射,最强发射峰位于543 nm,属于Tb~(3+)的5D4→7F5跃迁,激发峰位于226 nm处,但激发带较窄。为拓宽其激发带的宽度,在Sr_7Zr(PO_4)_6∶Tb~(3+)中掺入了Ce~(3+),观察到掺入Ce~(3+)后激发带变宽,且在Ce~(3+)的激发波长处激发得到了Tb~(3+)的发射,表明存在Ce~(3+)到Tb~(3+)的能量传递。  相似文献

Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectra of Ce 3+ in LiLuF 4 (LLF) and LiSr 0.8 Ca 0.2 AlF 6 (LSCAF) observed at low temperatures (<20 v K) show that the Ce 3+ centers have tetragonal and pseudo-trigonal symmetry with ( g , g )=(2.751, 1.467) and (2.14, 0.80), respectively. The EPR lines of Ce 3+ in LSCAF are inhomogeneously broadened by different Ce 3+ configurations which correspond to the random occupation of the second nearest neighbor cation sites by Ca 2+ and Sr 2+ and/or charge compensators. These EPR results indicate that the Ce 3+ centers in LLF and LSCAF are associated with substitution of Ce 3+ for Lu 3+ with eight-fold coordination and Sr 2+ /Ca 2+ with six-fold coordination, respectively. Fourier transform infrared absorption has been used to measure transitions between the 2 F 5/2 ground state and the 2 F 7/2 multiplet of Ce 3+ in LLF at 10 v K. The optical absorption and luminescence of Ce 3+ :LLF and Ce 3+ :LSCAF in the UV range are strongly polarized. The energy levels and polarization dependence of the optical transitions can be accounted for in terms of the crystal field potential experienced by the Ce 3+ ions under the action of the different point group symmetries.  相似文献

Congruent Sr x Ba 1 m x Nb 2 O 6 (SBN, x=0.61) doped with Ce or Cr ions exhibits enhanced photorefractive properties and new spectral features like increased red sensitivity. Here special emphasis is placed on the luminescence features of doubly doped Ce+Cr SBN crystals. The luminescence excitation and emission spectra combined with the absorption of the impurities allow to draw conclusions about the origin of the charge carriers und their recombination. The well separated thermo-luminescence peaks detected and their spectral line shape in emission point to specific recombination processes following the thermal liberation of light-induced electron trapping centers: Nb 4+ polarons and VIS-centers created at low temperature under light irradiation. The thermal activation energy for the hopping motion of Nb 4+ polarons and of VIS-centers are estimated to be 0.18 - 0.02 v eV and 0.30 - 0.05 v eV respectively. Possible excitation and recombination mechanisms in SBN:Ce+Cr are discussed.  相似文献

A series of Mg:Ce:Cu:LiNbO3 crystals has been grown by Czochralski method. Their infrared transmittance spectra and ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra were measured and discussed to investigate their defect structure. The nonvolatile holographic recording of Mg:Ce:Cu:LiNbO3 crystals was characterized by the two-photon fixed method. We found that the recording time of Mg:Ce:Cu:LiNbO3 crystals became shorter and nonvolatile diffraction efficiency decreases with the increase of Mg doping concentration, especially doping with Mg approaches and exceeds the so-called threshold. And the nonvolatility vanishes when the concentration of MgO exceeds 4 mol%. The intrinsic and extrinsic defects were discussed to explain the nonvolatile holographic properties in the Mg:Ce:Cu:LiNbO3 crystals.  相似文献

文章用提拉法生长出Li6Gd(BO3)3:Ce晶体,并对其光谱性能与发光过程进行了探索. 借助于真空紫外-紫外透过光谱测试,发现晶体的透过光谱中存在Ce3+离子和Gd3+的特征吸收峰,同时还存在与Ce4+离子相关的电荷迁移带. 对晶体的真空紫外-紫外激发发射光谱进行研究发现,在晶体存在着Ce3+离子的5d→4f辐射跃迁发光与Gd3+离子的4f→4f辐射跃迁发光,而且存在着Gd3+→Ce3+之间的能量传递. 对Li6Gd(BO3)3:Ce晶体的X射线与γ射线激发发射光谱研究可知,晶体在高能射线激发下的闪烁光主要是Ce3+离子的发光. 关键词: 6Gd(BO3)3:Ce晶体')" href="#">Li6Gd(BO3)3:Ce晶体 真空紫外-紫外透过光谱 真空紫外-紫外激发发射光谱 能量传递  相似文献

EPR spectra of the Er3+, Nd3+, and Ce3+ ions substituting for the Y3+ ion in the YAlO3 yttrium orthoaluminate lattice are studied. The EPR spectra of these rare-earth ions are described by a spin Hamiltonian of rhombic symmetry with an effective spin S=1/2. The principal values of the g tensors were determined from an analysis of the angular dependences of the EPR spectra. The orientation of the local magnetic axes of paramagnetic centers relative to the YAlO3 crystallographic directions are shown to depend on the actual rare-earth species. The EPR spectra exhibit a hyperfine structure due to the 167Er, 143Nd, and 145Nd odd isotopes, which permitted unambiguous identification of these spectra. The hyperfine coupling constants for the odd erbium and neodymium isotopes are determined.  相似文献

Vibrational modes of OH, as stretching, bending, combination, and overtones, were monitored by means of FTIR spectroscopy in Ce 3+ - and Gd 3+ -doped silicate glasses, prepared by means of the sol-gel technique, submitted to different thermal treatments, and aimed to applications as scintillators. The dopant concentration was varied in a wide range (10 m 3 -8% m.f.) and co-doped samples were also investigated. In this framework, the effects of OH and of rare-earth (RE) clustering, i.e. two possible non-radiative decay channels, on the IR spectra in the 500-14 v 000 v cm m 1 were examined. OH was detected as belonging either to water and to silanol in samples densified at 450 and 750 v C, while in those treated at 1050 v C only Si-OH groups were present in a concentration of the order of 1% m.f., nearly regardless of the RE amount. An absorption peaking at 4250 v cm m 1 was identified as related to an OH combination mode (bending+stretching) perturbed by a Gd cluster on the basis of its amplitude dependence on the Gd concentration and rapid thermal treatment.  相似文献

合成了系列M2SiO4∶Re(M=Mg,Ca,Ba; Re= Ce3 ,Tb3 )样品,研究了样品在真空紫外区域的激发光谱和发射光谱.从激发谱可以看出:M2SiO4∶Re(M=Mg,Ca,Ba; Re= Ce3 ,Tb3 )在147,172 nm有很强的吸收带.用Mg,Ca完全取代Ba2SiO4∶Tb3 中的Ba ,相对应的晶体的晶格参数逐渐增大,晶场的能量逐渐减少,其激发光谱随着碱土离子半径的增加向长波方向移动.在172 nm真空紫外光激发下,观察到M2SiO4∶Re(M=Mg,Ca,Ba; Re=Tb3 和M2SiO4∶Re(M=Mg,Ca,Ba; Re= Ce3 ,Tb3 )特征发射;在真空紫外激发下,随着M2SiO4∶Re(M=Mg,Ca,Ba; Re= Ce3 ,Tb3 )中Ce3 含量的增加,M2SiO4∶Re的特征发射明显减弱,并分析讨论了相关发光现象的成因.  相似文献

On-line measured radiation-induced absorption spectra and their kinetics are presented for the doped PbWO4, YAlO3:Ce and CsI crystals. In the doubly doped PbWO4:Mo,Y crystals the saturation level of the induced absorption increased with Mo concentration up to 2750 ppm. With a higher concentration it again gradually decreased. Yttrium co-doping around 100 ppm improved considerably the radiation hardness of Mo-doped PbWO4. Characteristic recovery time of these crystals was about 30 min. Positive influence of Zr+4 co-doping on characteristics of a set of YAlO3:Ce samples resulted in decrease in the induced absorption intensity. The presence of very slow recovery processes was in good agreement with thermoluminescence characteristics above room temperature reported earlier. An absorption band round 420 nm appeared in as-grown CsI crystals doped with Tl, and was related to the oxygen contamination.  相似文献

We have investigated the optical and scintillating properties of Lu co-doped Ce:LiYF4 single crystals with various Lu content. In the transmittance and absorption spectra, the absorption peaks at 243 nm get systematically red shifted in contrast to the peaks at 197 and 200 nm which get blue shifted with the increase in Lu content. At the same time, emission peaks at 306 nm and 200 nm under 295 nm excitation also get red shifted. The decay time of Ce:Li(Y,Lu)F4 crystals under 295 nm excitation is found to be faster than that of Ce:LiYF4 and Ce:LiLuF4 crystals. The alpha-peak positions in the pulse-height spectra and decay times of crystals under alpha-ray irradiation are found to vary with the Lu content.  相似文献

Abstract

Decay kinetics of Mn4+ luminescence in SrTiO3 and thermal stimulation of this luminescence (TSL) after low-temperature irradiation with light from the 355—520 nm region, have been investigated in the temperature range of 4.2—150K and 12—110K, respectively, for the first time. It is concluded that TSL glow peaks are associated with thermal release of carriers from shallow traps followed by Mn5+→Mn4+(2E) and/or Mn3+→Mn4+ (2E) charge transfer decay kinetics has been explained by considering trap energy levels taking part in the TSL process.  相似文献

In this paper, a series of Hf,Ce co-doped lithium niobate crystals with various HfO2 concentrations were grown by Czochralski method. The ultraviolet-visible absorption spectra and the infrared transmittance spectra were measured to study defect structure of the crystals. The optical damage resistance was measured by the transmitted facula distortion method. The results showed that the optical damage resistance of Hf:Ce:LiNbO3 was greatly improved when the Hf-doping concentration was above 4 mol%.  相似文献
