通过低电离层调制加热能够产生极低频/甚低频(ELF/VLF)波. 基于调制加热理论, 并引入相控阵天线思想, 建立了通过双波束幅度调制模式(DAM)和圆形几何调制模式(CGM)产生ELF/VLF波的定向辐射模型, 并通过与实验数据的对比验证了模型的正确性. 据此模型, 采用HARRP加热阵参数, 对比分析了上述两种定向辐射模式与常规幅度调制模式(AM)之间的特性差异, 并研究了调制频率(fELF/VLF)和加热波束与垂直方向倾角(ψ)对各模式的影响. 结果表明: 相对AM模式, 通过合理设置初始相位、fELF/VLFψ, DAM 模式和CGM模式在实现ELF/VLF信号定向辐射的同时还可以提高其辐射强度, 相对AM模式, CGM模式信号强度最大提高约11.3 dB. 关键词: 定向辐射 双波束幅度调制 圆形几何调制  相似文献

通过大功率极低频(ELF)/甚低频(VLF)高频调幅波能有效地扰动低电离层电流, 形成等效的ELF/VLF电离层虚拟天线,辐射ELF/VLF波, 所辐射出的低频信号能够传播进入到磁层,对其传播特性的研究对于理解辐射带高能电子沉降具有重要意义.本文基于磁层射线追踪理论,通过数值模拟得到在低纬地区所激发出的ELF波在磁层中的射线路径,并对其特征进行分析.数值模拟结果表明, 从低纬激发的ELF波在南北半球来回弹跳,并逐渐传播到更远处,对于不同频率的ELF波, 频率越高,传播距离越近,频率越低,传播距离越远,在传播过程中, ELF波会逐渐倾向于在一个固定的磁层区域附近来回反射,在此过程中波法向角也逐渐变为90°,射线方向倾向于沿着背景磁场方向传播.  相似文献

电离层调制加热能够有效激发极低频和甚低频(ELF/VLF)波,其中向上传播进入磁层的ELF/VLF波能够与高能电子发生共振相互作用,具有人工沉降高能电子、消除辐射带等潜在实际用途.本文综合运用射线追踪和试验粒子方法模拟电离层人工激发的单频ELF/VLF波在电离层和磁层的传播,以及在外辐射带层与高能电子的共振相互作用过程,通过投掷角和能量散射系数评估人工ELF/VLF波对磁层高能电子的共振散射效应.研究表明,电离层人工ELF/VLF波传播到磁层后呈现高倾斜性,传播所能跨域的空间范围主要取决于加热的纬度位置和调制频率.在内辐射带,与~100 keV到几个MeV高能电子发生一阶共振相互作用的为10 kHz的VLF波段;在外辐射带,为几百Hz到1 kHz的ELF波段.对于L=4.5的外辐射带,试验粒子模拟结果显示,单个粒子在人工ELF波作用下投掷角和能量(α,E)的改变具有随机性,而所有试验粒子平均化的?α2和?E2随时间呈现出近似线性的增大,说明波粒共振散射过程体现出整体性.基于试验粒子模拟得到的共振散射系数表明,幅度为10 pT的人工ELF波可在外辐射带的磁赤道局地对1 MeV电子产生较强的投掷角散射效应,进而影响高能电子的损失、沉降等动力学过程.当人工ELF/VLF波在传播过程中变得高度倾斜,不仅最基本的一阶共振十分重要,高阶共振散射也具有较大效应.这些定量分析结果表明,通过电离层加热激发人工ELF/VLF哨声波来沉降、消除辐射带高能电子具有可行性.  相似文献

地球内、外辐射带电子通量的变化对于空间飞行器,尤其是中低轨卫星的防护有着非常重要的影响.基于回旋共振波粒相互作用的准线性理论,使用地基高频发射器发射电波调制低电离层背景电流可以人工激励ELF/VLF波,这些波能使辐射带相对论电子发生抛射角散射沉降进入大气层从而降低其生存期.为了定量地分析人工激励ELF/VLF波散射辐射带高能粒子的可行性,针对内、外辐射带,本文选取了两个典型区域:L=4.6和L=1.5.数值计算结果表明,在内、外辐射带由于ELF/VLF波的人工注入而造成的高能电子损失时间尺度很大程度上取决于冷等离子体参量α*(∝B2/N0,这里B是背景磁场,N0是电子数密度)、电波频谱特性和功率,以及与波发生回旋共振的电子能量.一般来讲,在外辐射带人工ELF/VLF哨声波散射相对论电子使之沉降到大气层要容易得多;低能量的高能电子(200keV)要比高能量的相对论电子(500keV)更有效地通过抛射角散射进入大气层.考虑到高频电波加热电离层激励的ELF/VLF波可能会被捕获在磁层空腔中,来回反射从而得到增强,因此在适当的条件下,地基高频加热装置发射足够的电波功率进入电离层诱导大幅度ELF/VLF波注入到内磁层,能够在1至3天的时间尺度内快速散射外辐射带相对论电子使之沉降,也能够在10天量级的时间尺度里散射生存周期一般为100天甚至更长的内辐射带相对论电子. 关键词: 地基高频加热电离层 ELF/VLF波激励 高能电子散射和沉降 共振波粒相互作用  相似文献

辐射带中高能电子与空间甚低频电磁波由于波粒共振相互作用发生投掷角散射, 进而沉降入稠密大气而损失. 为研究甚低频电磁波对辐射带中高能电子的散射作用机制, 本文基于准线性扩散理论, 利用库仑作用和波粒共振相互作用扩散系数的物理模型, 得到了两组典型甚低频电磁波与高能电子波粒共振相互作用的赤道投掷角弹跳周期平均扩散系数, 并分析了甚低频电磁波共振散射作用与大气库仑散射作用对不同磁壳及不同能量的辐射带电子扩散损失的影响规律. 以磁壳参数L=2.2, 能量E=0.5 MeV的辐射带电子作为算例, 采用有限差分方法数值求解扩散方程, 计算分析了电子单向通量和全向通量随时间的沉降损失演化规律. 研究结果表明: 当电子能量大于0.5 MeV, 磁壳参数大于1.6时, 甚低频电磁波的共振散射作用显著; 随着磁壳参数或电子能量的增大, 斜传播甚低频电磁波引起的高阶共振相互作用越来越大; 电子全向通量近似随时间呈指数函数形式衰减.  相似文献

针对相位梯度超表面在隐身技术中的应用,提出通过表面波耦合和异常反射两种机制复合实现宽频带后向雷达散射截面(RCS)缩减,采用开口谐振环进行相位梯度设计,实现了一种二维极化无关相位梯度超表面,在10 GHz附近,超表面通过将垂直入射电磁波耦合为表面波实现RCS缩减,而在大于11 GHz的频率范围内,相位分布的不均匀性使垂直入射的电磁波发生漫反射或者异常反射,降低后向RCS,制作了厚度为2 mm的超表面样品,测试了其反射率曲线和后向RCS,并与相同尺寸的金属板进行了对比,实验结果表明,在宽频段内(9.5—17.0 GHz),超表面在垂直入射情况下可将后向RCS缩减至少10 dB,由于厚度薄、重量轻、频带宽,RCS缩减超表面在隐身新材料和新技术方面具有很大的应用潜力。  相似文献

Characteristics of nighttime VLF/ELF emissions are examined on the basis of the data obtained at our low latitude ground station Jammu (geomagnetic latitude, 22°26′ N; L = 1.17), India during our VLF/ELF campaign. From the detailed analysis of a huge amount of acquired VLF/ELF data at Jammu we have found three remarkable events which clearly exhibit a rise in their frequency in pre and past midnight sectors during magnetically quiet and substorm periods. Our analysis shows that the frequency drift in VLF/ELF emissions seems to be a rare phenomenon at low latitudes during magnetically quiet and substorm periods in pre and post midnight sectors. This property of temporal frequency drift (regular frequency increases with time) in VLF/ELF emissions observed at our station Jammu are interpreted in terms of a quasi-linear electron cyclotron instability model for wave excitation. The initial frequency increase is believed to be due to a combind effect of L-shell drift of energetic electrons. Further, the frequency drifts in VLF/ELF emissions observed at Jammu have been used to estimate the large scale electric field during quiet and substorm periods in pre and post midnight sectors. This investigation would be most useful for the study of the wave-particle interaction processes, magnetospheric plasma structure and particle dynamics, especially during quiet periods in premidnight sector at low latitudes.  相似文献

We present the results of numerical simulation and physical experiments to verify the possibility of generating a virtual superluminal VLF source by HF ionospheric heating with a scanning beam. The detection of VLF emission was carried out for the source created in two ways:
–  - by scanning the HF beam in opposite directions with different velocities and
–  - by amplitude modulation of a stationary HF beam.
The amplitude-frequency characteristics of signals obtained in the experiments show the possibility of radiation pattern control of the VLF emission excited by a scanning HF beam. In this work, a new method to measure in contact the nonlinearity parameter beta of solid plates is presented. A high frequency (HF) tone-burst signal of 20 MHz is inserted in the material by a contact-transducer (with a suitable coupling). A low frequency (LF) pulse (2.5 MHz) is applied to the other face, in the opposite direction, so that the nonlinear interaction of the two waves takes place during the back propagation toward the HF transducer. This collinear interaction creates a phase modulation of the HF tone-burst which is proportional to the beta coefficient and the particle velocity of the LF wave. To determine this particle velocity, in time domain, an extended self-reciprocity calibration of the contact LF transducer is used. A numeric phase demodulation is then performed, giving the beta coefficient of the sample. The proposed method is validated by nonlinearity parameter measurements in Fused Silica. The nonlinear parameter of Fused Silica measured is found to be in good agreement with the literature, and specially the negative sign of this parameter.  相似文献

In this paper, after a brief review on the entangled squeezed states, we produce a new class of the continuous-variabletype entangled states, namely, deformed photon-added entangled squeezed states. These states are obtained via the iterated action of the f-deformed creation operator A = f(n)aon the entangled squeezed states. In the continuation, by studying the criteria such as the degree of entanglement, quantum polarization as well as sub-Poissonian photon statistics, the twomode correlation function, one-mode and two-mode squeezing, we investigate the nonclassical behaviors of the introduced states in detail by choosing a particular f-deformation function. It is revealed that the above-mentioned physical properties can be affected and so may be tuned by justifying the excitation number, after choosing a nonlinearity function. Finally, to generate the introduced states, we propose a theoretical scheme using the nonlinear Jaynes–Cummings model.  相似文献

This paper treats phase separation within the context of the phenomenological Cahn-Hilliard equation, ct = · [M(c)(∂f/∂c - K2c)], where c is the concentration, M(c) is the mobility, and f(c) is homogeneou s free energy, which is assumed here to be a fourth degree polynomial. Natural boundary conditions are introduced. The full set of equilibrium solutions is specified. A comparison theorem for stability criteria which was postulated by Langer is proved here within the framework of the natural boundary conditions. Energy methods are used to define and estimate the limit of monotonic global stability. It is pointed out that within the parameter region where the uniform homogeneous state is the only equilibrium solution, there may still exist some internal “excitable” region in which the homogeneous solution possesses growing fluctuations. Furthermore a periodic instability is shown to exist in the metastable region in addition to the well-known nucleation instability.  相似文献

结合Si基n+-p-n-n+ 外延平面双极晶体管, 通过分析器件内部的温度分布变化以及电流密度和烧毁时间随信号幅值的变化关系, 研究了其在三角波信号、正弦波信号和方波脉冲信号等三种样式的高功率微波信号作用下的损伤效应和机理. 研究表明, 三种高功率微波信号注入下器件的损伤部位都是发射结, 在频率和信号幅值相同的情况下方波脉冲信号更容易使器件损伤; 位移电流密度和烧毁时间随信号幅值的增大而增大, 而位移电流在总电流所占的比例随信号幅值的增大而减小; 相比于因信号变化率而引起的位移电流, 信号注入功率在高幅值信号注入损伤过程中占主要作用. 利用数据分析软件, 分别得到了三种信号作用下器件烧毁时间和信号频率的变化关系式. 结果表明, 器件烧毁时间随信号频率的增加而增加, 烧毁时间和频率都符合t= afb的关系式. 关键词: 双极晶体管 高功率微波 损伤机理 信号样式  相似文献

In this paper some results are presented concerning one-dimensional chaotic maps with arbitrarily many critical points. Let f be a chaotic map belonging to some suitable class of C1 maps from a nontrivial interval X into itself.

Assuming that f is of class C1+ for some > 0, we have that the set of aperiodic points for f has Lebesgue measure zero; further, if f(X) is bounded then there exists a positive integer p such that almost every point in the interval is asymptotically periodic with period p. Moreover, it will turn out that this asymptotically periodic behaviour in the complicated dynamics of f is persistent under small smooth perturbations.

The topological structure of the nonwandering set of f will be described, and this structure is invariant under small C1 perturbations of the map f.

Assuming that f is of class C2, the map f is C2 structurally stable provided that f satisfies some suitable conditions.

Finally, it will turn out that maps with a negative Schwarzian derivative belong to the suitable class of maps mentioned above.  相似文献

The theory of internal waves between two layers of immiscible fluids is important both for its applications in oceanography and engineering, and as a source of interesting mathematical model equations that exhibit nonlinearity and dispersion. A Boussinesq system for two-way propagation of interfacial waves in a rigid lid configuration is derived. In most cases, the nonlinearity is quadratic. However, when the square of the depth ratio is close to the density ratio, the coefficients of the quadratic nonlinearities become small and cubic nonlinearities must be considered. The propagation as well as the collision of solitary waves and/or fronts is studied numerically.  相似文献

In this paper, a systematic, overall view of theories for periodic waves of permanent form, such as Stokes and cnoidal waves, is described first with their validity ranges. To deal with random waves, a method for estimating directional spectra is given. Then, various wave equations are introduced according to the assumptions included in their derivations. The mild-slope equation is derived for combined refraction and diffraction of linear periodic waves. Various parabolic approximations and time-dependent forms are proposed to include randomness and nonlinearity of waves as well as to simplify numerical calculation. Boussinesq equations are the equations developed for calculating nonlinear wave transformations in shallow water. Nonlinear mild-slope equations are derived as a set of wave equations to predict transformation of nonlinear random waves in the nearshore region. Finally, wave equations are classified systematically for a clear theoretical understanding and appropriate selection for specific applications.  相似文献

We consider specific features of optical-circuit operation in the presence of radiation which is returned to the source after having passed an optical path exceeding the initial coherence length of the reference wave when, as was previously assumed, the delay modulation should not influence the oscillation mode. However, experiments with the Michelson and Sagnac fiber interferometers showed that intensity modulation of the interference signal and, therefore, intensity modulation of the source radiation related to the active-medium nonlinearity appear when the interfering waves with the phase-difference modulation return. The revealed effect leads to distortion of a signal at the interferometer output irrespectively of the delay time and can be removed by placing an optical isolator at the source output.  相似文献

光纤中方波信号的慢光技术在全光通信和光纤传感等领域具有重要的应用前景. 提出了谐波相对延时量的度量方法, 分别采用速率方程和相干布居振荡理论, 对掺铒光纤中方波信号的基波和高次谐波的快慢光特性进行了研究. 在无抽运光输入情况下, 改变入射光功率, 入射探测光的基波最大相对延时量能达到20%, 且存在实现最大相对延时量的入射光功率为8 mW; 在有抽运光输入的情况下, 改变信号光增益, 入射探测光的基波相对超前量同样能达到-20%, 且随着信号光增益的增大而增加. N次谐波(N=1, 3, 5, 7, …)在频率f/N(f为基波信号最大延时量对应的调制频率)处有最大相对延时量, 且它们的最大延时量相同, 频率处于相干布居振荡引起的光谱烧孔带宽内.  相似文献

A novel Lamb wave frequency-mixing technique is proposed for locating microcracks in a thin plate,which does not require the resonance condition of Lamb wave mixing and can accurately locate the microcracks through only one-time sensing.Based on the bilinear stress-strain constitutive model,a two-dimensional finite element(FE)model is built to investigate the frequency-mixing response induced by the interaction between two primary Lamb waves and a microcrack.When two primary Lamb waves of A0 and S0 modes with different frequencies excited on the same side of the plate simultaneously impinge on the examined microcrack,under the modulation of the contact acoustic nonlinearity,the microcrack itself can be deemed as the secondary sound source and it will radiate the Lamb waves of new combined frequencies.Based on the time of flight of the generated A0 mode at difference frequency,an indicator named normalized amplitude index(NAI)is defined to directly locate the multi-microcracks in the given plate.It is found that the number and location of the microcracks can be intuitively visualized by using the NAI based frequency-mixing technique.It is also demonstrated that the proposed frequency mixing technique is a promising approach for the microcrack localization.  相似文献
