Concurrence is viewed as the most commonly approach for quantifying entanglement of two-qubit states, while intrinsic concurrence contains concurrence of four pure states consisting of a special pure state ensemble concerning an arbitrary two-qubit state. Thus, a natural question arises: Whether there is a specified relation between them.We firstly examine the relation between concurrence and intrinsic concurrence for the maximally nonlocal mixed state under a special unitary operation, which is not yet rigorously proved. In order to obtain a general result, we investigate the relation between concurrence and intrinsic concurrence using randomly generated two-qubit states, and derive an inequality relation between them. Finally, we take into account the relation between concurrence and intrinsic concurrence in open systems, and reveal the ratio of the two quantum resources, which is only correlated with the experiencing channels.  相似文献

This paper investigates the entanglement dynamics of an anisotropic two-qubit Heisenberg spin chain in the presence of decoherence at finite temperature. The time evolution of the concurrence is studied for different initial Werner states. The influences of initial purity, finite temperature, spontaneous decay and Hamiltonian on the entanglement evolution are analyzed in detail. Our calculations show that the finite temperature restricts the evolution of the entanglement all the time when the Hamiltonian improves it and the spontaneous decay to the reservoirs can produce quantum entanglement with the anisotropy of spin-spin interaction. Finally, the steady-state concurrence which may remain non-zero for low temperature is also given.  相似文献

We find states for a multi-level system which are stable under a very general model of dissipation, one which is governed simply by generic rate parameters; in general such stable states are not entangled. We exhibit such a state explicitly for a two-qubit system. We then specialize to a more physical model of dissipation, one which is governed by pure dephasing. In such a case it is possible, by choice of the dephasing rates, to have a stable, and limiting, entangled state under the evolution governed by the free hamiltonian and pure decoherence. We exhibit such a choice explicitly which has a stable and limiting two-qubit state of maximum entanglement (Bell state).  相似文献

We present an interesting monogamy equation for (2⊗2⊗n)-dimensional pure states, by which a quantity is found to characterize the tripartite entanglement with the GHZ type and W type entanglements as a whole. In particular, we, for the first time, reveals that for any quantum state of a pair of qubits, the difference between the two remarkable entanglement measures, concurrence and negativity, characterizes the W type entanglement of tripartite pure states with the two-qubit state as reduced density.  相似文献

The entanglement between two stationary qubits is a kind of valuable quantum resources in quantum information or quantum network. This paper investigates the time evolution of the entanglement between two atoms, which are initially prepared in the Bell states and each of which interacts with its own cavity field in the identical and non-identical double damping Jaynes-Cummings (J-C) system. It mainly considers the effect of the atomic spontaneous decay Γ and the decay of cavity field κ on the two-qubit entanglement in such system. While causing the decay of entanglement, Γ and κ can also play a positive role in the entanglement evolution, which may imply a way to better control and maintain the entanglement. What is more, the rules governing the transfer of entanglement between two-qubit subsystems in strong coupling regime are finally studied by taking Γ and κ into consideration.  相似文献

Entanglement dynamics of the N-qubit XY model in thermal and dephasing environments are investigated by solving the Lindblad form of the master equation. Analytical solutions for the two-qubit case and numerical solutions for the multi-qubit case are obtained. For the two-qubit case, our results revealed two main features for entanglement evolution from different initial states. First, the thermal reservoir always induces degradation of the entanglement, and the entanglement may undergo sudden death during certain intervals of the evolution time. Second, the dephasing environment induces damped oscillation of the entanglement for initially separable states and mixed states with relative large values of Δ or J; however, it always induces exponentially decay of the entanglement for the initial Bell states. For the multi-qubit case, our results show that the entanglement decreases monotonically as the time evolves for the initial W state, and behaves as damped oscillation for the initial “one-particle” state. Particularly, for system with large number of qubits, the curves of the concurrence C12 with different N are almost overlapped in dephasing environment.  相似文献

This paper investigates the entanglement evolution of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. The time evolution of the concurrence is studied for the initial pure entangled states cos θ |00 + sin θ |11 and cos |01 + sin |10 at zero temperature. The influences of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction D,anisotropic parameter and environment coupling strength γ on entanglement evolution are analysed in detail. It is found that the effect of noisy environment obviously suppresses the entanglement evolution, and the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction D acts on the time evolution of entanglement only when the initial state is cos |01 + sin |10.Finally,a formula of steady state concurrence is obtained, and it is shown that the stable concurrence, which is independent of different initial states and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction D,depends on the anisotropic parameter and the environment coupling strength γ.  相似文献

In this article,we derive the explicit entanglement and fidelity expressions for a larger class of two-qubit states, namely,a seven-parameter family of so called X-states.The analytical expressions of the entanglement, the output entanglement and the average fidelity are obtained for this general model by using the concept of concurrence and average fidelity. We study the relations between quantum entanglement, the output entanglement, and the average fidelity for standard teleportation of one-qubit and partial teleportation of two-qubit state. We discover that the average fidelity and entanglement is not a simple dependence relation. The higher entangled system is helpful for teleportation.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement properties of symmetry states of the Schur-Weyl duality. Our approach based on reduced two-qubit density matrices, and concurrence as the measure of entanglement. We show that all kinds of “entangled graphs", which describe the entanglement structure in Schur-Weyl states are completely coded in the corresponding Young tableau.  相似文献

We use quantum diffusive trajectories to prove that the time evolution of two-qubit entanglement under spontaneous emission can be fully characterized by optimal continuous monitoring. We analytically determine this optimal unraveling and derive a deterministic evolution equation for the system's concurrence. Furthermore, we propose an experiment to monitor the entanglement dynamics in bipartite two-level systems and to determine the disentanglement time from a single trajectory.  相似文献

We investigate disentanglement dynamics of two coupled qubits and qutrits which interact uniformly to a general XY spin-chain environment with the Dzyaloshinsky-Moriya (DM) interaction. We obtained exact expression of the time evolution operator and analyzed the dynamical process of the decoherence factors. Through explicitly calculating the concurrence and the negativity, we examined disentanglement behaviors of two coupled central spins evolve from different initial pure states, which are found to be nontrivially different from those of the uncorrelated ones, in particular, the enhanced decay of the entanglement induced by quantum criticality of the surrounding environment may be broken by introducing self-Hamiltonian of the central spin system. Moreover, the DM interaction may have different influences on decay of the entanglement depending on the strength of the system-environment coupling, the anisotropy of the environmental spin chain and the intensity of the transverse magnetic field, as well as the explicit form of the initial states of the central spin system.  相似文献

Dynamic evolution of entanglement is studied for coupling two-qubit system in non-Markov environment in terms of concurrence. We find that the degree of entanglement depends on the initial quantum state of the system and the interaction between the two-qubit system and the environment. When the interaction between the qubits and the environment is completely symmetric, especially, the environment has no effect on the entanglement, where the decoherence is entirely resulted from the interaction between qubits. By controlling the coupling way of the interaction, thus, one may avoid the entanglement sudden death (ESD).  相似文献

One-qubit pure states, living on the surface of Bloch sphere, can be mapped onto the usual complex plane by using stereographic projection. In this paper, after reviewing the entanglement of two-qubit pure state, it is shown that the quaternionic stereographic projection is related to concurrence measure. This is due to the fact that every two-qubit state, in ordinary complex field, corresponds to the one-qubit state in quaternionic skew field, called quaterbit. Like the one-qubit states in complex field, the stereographic projection maps every quaterbit onto a quaternion number whose complex and quaternionic parts are related to Schmidt and concurrence terms respectively. Rather, the same relation is established for three-qubit state under octonionic stereographic projection which means that if the state is bi-separable then, quaternionic and octonionic terms vanish. Finally, we generalize recent consequences to 2?N and 4?N dimensional Hilbert spaces (N ≥ 2) and show that, after stereographic projection, the quaternionic and octonionic terms are entanglement sensitive. These trends are easily confirmed by direct computation for general multi-particle W- and GHZ-states.  相似文献

The sudden death of entanglement is investigated for non-Markovian dynamic process of a pair interacting flux qubits under a thermal bath. The entangling evolution of the coupled qubits interacting with non-Markov environment is investigated in terms of concurrence. The results show that, for initially two-qubit entangled states, the sudden death of entanglement (ESD) always happens in the thermal reservoir, where the appearance of entanglement sudden death strongly depends on the environment. Especially, ESD of the qubits is easier to occur for non-Markovian process than for Markovian one.  相似文献

Characterization of the multipartite mixed state entanglement is still a challenging problem. This is due to the fact that the entanglement for the mixed states, in general, is defined by a convex-roof extension. That is the entanglement measure of a mixed state ρ of a quantum system can be defined as the minimum average entanglement of an ensemble of pure states. In this paper, we show that polynomial entanglement measures of degree 2 of even-N qubits X states is in the full agreement with the genuine multipartite (GM) concurrence. Then, we plot the hierarchy of entanglement classification for four qubit pure states and then using new invariants, we classify the four qubit pure states. We focus on the convex combination of the classes whose at most the one of the invariants is non-zero and find the relationship between entanglement measures consist of non-zero-invariant, GM concurrence and one-tangle. We show that in many entanglement classes of four qubit states, GM concurrence is equal to the square root of one-tangle.  相似文献

Taking the decoherence effect into account, the entanglement evolution of a two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain in the presence of inhomogeneous magnetic field is investigated. The time evolution of concurrence is studied for the initial state cos θ|01) + sin θ|10) at zero temperature. The influences of inhomogeneous magnetic field, anisotropic parameter and decoherence on entanglement dynamic are addressed in detail, and a concurrence formula of the steady state is found. It is shown that the entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) appear with the decoherence effect, and the stable concurrence depends on the uniform magnetic field B, anisotropic parameter △ and environment coupling strength γ, which is independent of different initial states and nonuniform magnetic field b.  相似文献

The entanglement capacity of two-qubit unitary operator acting on rank two mixed states in concurrence is discussed. The condition of perfect entangler is the same as that acting on pure states and the entanglement capacity is the mixing parameter v1. For non-perfect entangler, the upper and lower bound of the entanglement capacity are given.  相似文献

We study the dynamics of entanglement in a two-qubit system interacting with a squeezed thermal bath via a dissipative system-reservoir interaction with the system and reservoir assumed to be in a separable initial state. The resulting entanglement is studied by making use of concurrence as well as a recently introduced measure of mixed state entanglement via a probability density function which gives a statistical and geometrical characterization of entanglement by exploring the entanglement content in the various subspaces spanning the two-qubit Hilbert space. We also make an application of the two-qubit dissipative dynamics to a simplified model of quantum repeaters.  相似文献

The effects of atmospheric turbulence on the entanglement of spatial two-qubit states that are prepared using the signal and idler photons produced by parametric down-conversion are studied. Utilizing the non-Kolmogorov model for atmospheric turbulence and Rytov approximation method, we quantify the effects of atmospheric turbulence on the entanglement of the two-qubit state in terms of Wootters's concurrence. Our results show that the effects of the zenith angle of communication channel and the outer scale of turbulence on the concurrence of a spatial two-qubit state can be ignored and the smaller inner scale of turbulence, the smaller refractive-index power α, the shorter wavelength of beams and the longer propagation distance will lead to the larger fluctuations of the concurrence of a spatial two-qubit state.  相似文献
