Corrosion protection of Mg/Al alloys by thermal sprayed aluminium coatings   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
The protective features of thermal sprayed Al-coatings applied on AZ31, AZ80 and AZ91D magnesium/aluminium alloys were evaluated in 3.5 wt.% NaCl solution by electrochemical and gravimetric measurements. The changes in the morphology and corrosion behaviour of the Al-coatings induced by a cold-pressing post-treatment were also examined. The specimens were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray analysis and low-angle X-ray diffraction. The as-sprayed Al-coatings revealed a high degree of porosity and poor corrosion protection, which resulted in galvanic acceleration of the corrosion of the magnesium substrates. The application of a cold-pressing post-treatment produced more compact Al-coatings with better bonding at the substrate/coating interface and higher corrosion resistance regardless of the nature of the magnesium alloy.  相似文献

This paper presents an integrated peak spectral intensity method for in situ detection of a fatigue crack in a metallic material. The method employs a laser beam to illuminate the notch root of a central slot machined on test specimens. The diffracted images are digitized, recorded and processed on a personal computer. Subsequent image processing and analysis yield information from which fatigue crack initiation on the specimen is determined. The technique is applied to aluminium alloy specimens subjected to a cyclic tensile load with a constant stress amplitude. Unlike previous techniques, the present technique enables recording of speckle images and the subsequent detection of fatigue crack initiation without the necessity of unloading the test specimen from the testing machine.  相似文献

Electroless deposition of Ni-W-P coating on AZ91D magnesium alloy   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Ternary Ni-W-P alloy coating was deposited directly on AZ91D magnesium alloy by using an alkaline-citrate-based baths. Nickel sulfate and sodium tungstate were used as metal ion sources, respectively, and sodium hypophosphite was used as a reducing agent. The pH value of the electroless bath was tailored for magnesium alloy. The coating was characterized for its structure, morphology, microhardness and the corrosion properties. SEM observation showed the presence of dense and coarse nodules in the ternary coating. EDS analysis showed that the content of tungsten in the Ni-W-P alloy was 4.5 wt.%. Both the electrochemical analysis and the immersion test in 10% HCl solution revealed that the ternary Ni-W-P coating exhibited good corrosion resistance properties in protecting the AZ91D magnesium alloy.  相似文献

钛合金凭借其强度高、耐蚀性好、耐热性高等特点已经被广泛应用于航天、海洋、生物医药等诸多领域,其中Ti-6Al-4V(TC4)合金的耐热性、强度、塑性、韧性、成形性、可焊性、耐蚀性和生物相容性均较好,已成为钛合金工业中的王牌合金。钛合金在激光焊接时,加入表面活性剂可以增加焊缝熔深、提高焊接效率、改善焊缝微观组织的不均匀性,但是可能会改变熔合区和焊缝区中元素含量及其分布状态,从而可能会对材料的性能产生一定的影响。运用LIBS分析技术对TC4钛合金焊接试样表面进行面扫描同步获得多元素成分信息,同时结合原位统计分布分析方法(OPA),实现了对钛合金母材、熔合区、焊缝成分及其分布状态的快速表征,为活性剂的选择和焊接后钛合金的材料性能提供一种新的评价手段。选取了两个使用不同活性剂进行焊接的TC4钛合金薄板试样,选取焊缝纵切面方向作为分析面,采用320目的氧化铝砂纸进行表面处理,利用LIBSOPA系统进行成分分布统计表征。首先,对激发光斑和剥蚀条件进行条件优化,最终选择200 μm的激发光斑、10个预剥蚀脉冲10个剥蚀脉冲进行实验,并建立了钛合金中C,Al,V,Fe,Si和Ti六个元素的校准曲线(其中Si元素主要来自活性剂);然后对钛合金焊接样品进行了区域扫描,并对元素含量和分布状态进行了统计表征。同时,在钛合金焊接样品的不同部位进行分区取样,采用高频红外法分析C元素含量,并与LIBSOPA结果进行比对,两种测试方法结果吻合。元素Al,V,Fe,Si和Ti分布结果与微束X荧光光谱法对应性较好。运用LIBSOPA 技术实现了对钛合金母材、熔合区、焊缝中多元素的成分分布表征,为快速判定钛合金焊缝中成分及分布状态提供了全新的评价表征手段。  相似文献

The limitation of the currently available thermal management method has put an ever serious challenge for computer chip designers. A liquid metal with low melting point around room temperature was recently identified as a powerful coolant of driving heat away because of its superior thermo-physical properties and the unique ability to be driven efficiently by a completely silent electromagnetic pump. However, the adoption of gallium, one of the best candidates as metal coolant so far, may cause serious corrosion to the structure materials and subsequently affect the performance or even dangerous running of the cooling system. To address this emerging critical issue, here the compatibility of gallium with four typical metal substrates (6063 Aluminum-Alloy, T2 Copper-Alloy, Anodic Coloring 6063 Aluminum-Alloy and 1Cr18Ni9 Stainless Steel) was comprehensively investigated in order to better understand the corrosion mechanisms and help find out the most suitable structure material for making a liquid metal cooling device. To grasp in detail the dynamic corrosion behavior, an image acquisition and contrasting method was developed. Moreover, corrosion morphology analyses were performed by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM). The chemical compositions of the corroded layers were evaluated using energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). According to the experiments, it was found that, the corrosion of the 6063 Aluminum-Alloy was rather evident and serious under the temperature range for chip cooling. The loose corrosion product will not only have no protection for the inner substrate, but also accelerate the corrosion process. Compared to the 6063 Aluminum-Alloy, T2 Copper-Alloy showed a slow and general corrosion, but part of the corrosion product can shed from the substrate, which will accelerate corrosion action and may block the flowing channel. Anodic Coloring 6063 Aluminum-Alloy and 1Cr18Ni9 Stainless Steel were found to have excellent corrosion resistance among these four specimens. No evident corrosion phenomena were found under the examination of SEM and EDS when exposed for 30 days at the temperature of 60°C, which suggests their suitability as structure materials for the flow of liquid metal. However, as for the Anodic Coloring 6063 Aluminum-Alloy, surface treatment and protection are of vital importance. The present study is of significance for making a liquid metal chip cooling device which can actually be used in the future computer industry.  相似文献

Ni-Co-fly ash coatings were deposited on zincate treated 5083 wrought aluminium alloy substrates with the aid of the electrodeposition technique. Structural and chemical characterization of the produced composite coatings was performed with the aid of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron dispersive X-ray analysis (EDS) techniques. The Ni-Co-fly ash coatings were found to consist of a crystalline Ni-Co solid solution with dispersed fly ash particles. In addition, chemical analysis of the Ni-Co matrix showed that it consisted of 80 wt.% Ni and 20 wt.% Co. The co-deposition of fly ash particles leads to a significant increase of the microhardness of the coating. The corrosion behaviour of the Ni-Co-fly ash/zincate coated aluminium alloy, in a 0.3 M NaCl solution (pH = 3.5), was studied by means of potentiodynamic corrosion experiments.  相似文献

实验研究了CW激光辐照铝合金薄板的热力响应过程,利用三维数字图像相关技术(3D-DIC)结合红外测温系统对整个过程的变形场和温度场实现了全场实时测量。分析了入射激光功率对变形场和温度场的影响,发现变形和温度均随入射激光功率线性增长。建立了三维有限元模型对实验过程进行模拟,模拟结果与实验结果吻合较好,验证了有限元模型的可靠性。3D-DIC结合红外测温系统可以很好地对激光破坏试验中的靶体变形场和温度场进行实时测量,是一种很有效的实验测量手段。  相似文献

Different Ni-based alloys with various compositions were prepared by varying the amounts of beryllium. Effect of the amount of beryllium added to the alloy on its corrosion in an electrolyte solution of artificial saliva was investigated. Fractal dimension was used as a quantitative factor for surface analysis of the alloys before and after storage in the artificial salvia. The fractal dimensions of the electrode surfaces were determined by means of the most reliable method in this context viz. time dependency of the diffusion-limited current for a system involving “diffusion towards electrode surface”. The results showed that increase of the beryllium amount in the alloy composition significantly increases the alloy corrosion. It is accompanied by increase of the fractal dimension and roughness of the electrode surface, whereas a smooth and shiny surface is required for dentures. From the methodology point of view, the approach utilized for fractal analysis of the alloy surfaces (Au-masking of metallic surfaces) is a novel and efficient method for study of denture surfaces. Generally, this approach is of interest for corrosion studies of different metals and alloys, particularly where changes in surface structure have a significant importance.  相似文献

The recent advances in image-processing techniques have led to the development of many methods to reduce the scan time without degrading the image quality. In particular, tomography has improved image reconstruction methods with the concomitant improvement of high-quality images. In this study, PRECEDENCE 16 was used to reconstruct images using the filtered back projection method, which is generally used, and the Astonish method and three-dimensional ordered-subsets expectation maximization method, which are based on repetition techniques. In qualitative and quantitative analysis of the reconstructed images, a comparison was made between images with different acquisition times and between images with the same acquisition time, which aimed at determining the optimal method for reconstructing high-quality images. A blind test for qualitative analysis confirmed almost no difference in image quality depending on the image acquisition time. Furthermore, in quantitative analysis, there was no significant difference in image quality depending on the image acquisition time. On the other hand, the results of the analysis in the image reconstruction method with the same acquisition time demonstrated a significant difference. The images reconstructed by the Astonish method, which uses a repetition technique, are believed to be excellent because they have high resolution and provide clinical diagnostic information. This study confirmed that the reconstruction method with a repetition technique could be used to improve image quality and reduce the scan time, despite not being in general use until recently due to the lengthy time needed for image reconstruction and lack of storage space.  相似文献

激光光斑中心定位是光学测量中的关键技术之一。通过对常用定位算法的分析,给出利用光斑图像中的不饱和点对光斑进行高斯拟合,并以拟合函数的幅值点作为光斑中心的方法。利用人工光斑对该算法进行验证,结果表明该算法误差远小于0.1 像素;利用一维高精度电动平移台、CCD相机、激光器等搭建测试系统,由计算机自动采集激光光斑图像并对其进行分析,实验结果表明该算法与理论分析结果的均方根误差仅为0.1 像素。  相似文献
