From a quantum information point of view we investigate the entropy squeezing properties for a two-level atom interacting with the two-mode coherent fields via the two-photon transition. We discuss the influences of the initial state of the system on the atomic information entropy squeezing. Our results show that the squeezed component number, squeezed direction, and time of the information entropy squeezing can be controlled by choosing atomic distribution angle, the relative phase between the atom and the two-mode field, and the difference of the average photon number of the two field modes, respectively. Quantum information entropy is a remarkable precision measure for the atomic squeezing. 相似文献

The entropy squeezing properties for a two-level
atom interacting with a two-mode field via two different competing transitions
are investigated from a quantum information point of view. The influences
of the initial state of the system and the relative coupling strength between the atom and the field
on the atomic information entropy squeezing are discussed. Our results show that
the squeezed direction and the frequency of the information entropy squeezing
can be controlled by choosing the phase of the atom dipole and the relative competing
strength of atom-field, respectively.
We find that, under the same condition, no atomic variance squeezing is predicted from the
HUR while optimal entropy squeezing is obtained from the EUR, so the quantum information
entropy is a remarkable precision measure for the atomic squeezing

We examine the single-atom entropy squeezing and the atom-field entanglement in a system of two moving twolevel atoms interacting with a single-mode coherent field in a lossless resonant cavity.Our numerical calculations indicate that the squeezing period,the squeezing time and the maximal squeezing can be controlled by appropriately choosing the atomic motion and the field-mode structure.The atomic motion leads to a periodical time evolution of entanglement between the two-atom and the field.Moreover,there exists corresponding relation between the time evolution properties of the atomic entropy squeezing and that of the entanglement between the two atoms and the field. 相似文献

运用全量子理论并结合数值计算方法,研究了处于真空库和热库中原子系统的偶极压缩特性,讨论了原子的初态以及热库的平均光子数对原子偶极压缩特性的影响.研究表明:真空库中,初始处于基态和激发态的叠加态原子,当激发态的粒子布居概率少于基态时,原子的偶极压缩无限接近于零而永远不消失;反之,原子的偶极压缩将在有限的时间内消失;热库中,不管原子初始处于什么态,其偶极压缩都在有限的时间内消失,并且随着热库的平均光子数的增大而消失得越快。 相似文献

本文利用推广的Jaynes-Cummings哈密顿量的第n个子空间的完备集研究二能级系统的双光子辐射的量子统计性质,求出了场方差的一般表达式,得到了任意初态的最佳压缩条件和最佳压缩量,并分析了最佳压缩态的时间演化。作为例子,讨论了初态为热平衡分布的裸原子系统的压缩行为的时间演化,显示了压缩对于温度、失谐量、耦合劲度等参量的依赖关系,并给出了压缩条件的解析形式及数值曲线。最后指出了上述压缩的物理图象。

Single-atom entropy squeezing for two two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode radiation field
In this paper we consider a system of two two-level atoms interacting with a single-mode quantized electromagnetic field in a lossless resonant cavity via l-photon-transition mechanism. The field and the atoms are initially prepared in the coherent state and the excited atomic states, respectively. For this system we investigate the entropy squeezing, the atomic variances, the von Neumann entropy and the atomic inversions for the single-atom case. Also we comment on the relationship between spin squeezing and linear entropy. We show that the amounts of the nonclassical effects exhibited in the entropy squeezing for the present system are less than those produced by the standard Jaynes-Cummings model. The entropy squeezing can give information on the corresponding von Neumann entropy. Also the nonclassical effects obtained from the asymmetric atoms are greater than those obtained from the symmetric ones. Finally, the entropy squeezing gives better information than the atomic variances only for the asymmetric atoms. 相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the entropy squeezing for a two-level
atom interacting with two quantized fields through Raman coupling.
We obtain the dynamical evolution of the total system under the
influence of intrinsic decoherence when the two quantized fields are
prepared in a two-mode squeezing vacuum state initially. The effects
of the field squeezing factor, the two-level atomic transition
frequency, the second field frequency and the intrinsic decoherence
on the entropy squeezing are discussed. Without intrinsic
decoherence, the increase of field squeezing factor can break the
entropy squeezing. The two-level atomic transition frequency changes
only the period of oscillation but not the strength of entropy
squeezing. The influence of the second field frequency is
complicated. With the intrinsic decoherence taken into
consideration, the results show that the stronger the intrinsic
decoherence is, the more quickly the entropy squeezing will
disappear. The increase of the atomic transition frequency can
hasten the disappearance of entropy squeezing. 相似文献

The interactions between a two-level atom and a field via two-photon
transition without rotating wave approximation have been
investigated. We emphasize the dynamic behaviors of the atomic
population inversion, the field squeezing, and the atomic dipole
squeezing numerically when the field frequency varies with time in
the forms of sine and rectangle. Some interesting phenomena are
discovered and discussed. The good periodic character of the atomic
population inversion in the standard two-photon Jaynes--Cummings
model is weakened by the influence of the sine field frequency
modulation. The rectangular field frequency modulation can change
the correlation among different oscillations suddenly and induce new
collapse-revival processes of the atomic population inversion. The
field squeezing increases at the beginning of time, but then
decreases and loses as the time increases after it reaches the
maximum due to the sine modulation. The effects of the rectangular
modulation on the field squeezing depend mostly on the appearance
time of the modulation. The atomic dipole squeezing is weakened
under the influence of the sine or rectangular modulation. Our
results indicate that it is possible to perform the dynamic
controlling of the system properties by changing the parameters of
the system with time. This implies that one can dynamically control
a quantum information process by choosing the system modulation

We study the squeezing for a two-level atom in the Jaynes-Cummings model with intensity-dependent coupling using quantum information entropy, and examine the influences of the initial state of the system on the squeezed component number and direction of the information entropy squeezing. Our results show that, the squeezed component number depends on the atomic initial distribution angle, while the squeezed direction is determined by both the phases of the atom and the field for the information entropy squeezing. 运用量子信息熵理论研究了双光子过程中任意初态二能级原子与相干场相互作用的信息熵压缩,讨论了系统初态对原子信息熵压缩的影响. 并且比较了分别从基于信息熵不确定关系和海森伯不确定关系出发得出的结果. 结果表明通过选择适当初始的原子分布角,原子的混合度和相干场的位相角,可以分别控制原子信息熵压缩的偶极矩分量数、压缩频率、压缩幅度和压缩方向. 当原子反转为零时,基于海森堡不确定关系的方差压缩定义不再有效,而信息熵压缩实现了对原子压缩效应的高灵敏量度.

We investigate nonlocal correlations between a three-level atom and the optical field initially being in the photon-added squeezed thermal state. We examine the effect of the squeezing parameter and the number of added photons to the squeezed thermal field on the entanglement during the time evolution. We show that the entanglement can be enhanced by increasing the number of added photons and the squeezing parameter for moving and nonmoving three-level atoms. We present a useful way to generate and restrain a large amount of entanglement by increasing the number of added photons when the atomic motion is described by the atomic velocity. 相似文献

We propose an efficient scheme for realizing two-mode squeezing for two cavity modes with an atomic ensemble trapped in the cavity and driven by two classical fields. Through a suitable choice of the driving classical fields, the evolution dynamics of the two cavity modes is decoupled with the atomic system and described by a two-mode squeezing operator. We show that a highly squeezed state can be obtained at the output even with a bad cavity. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the BEG-cavity setup. 相似文献

We consider a system of two separated cavities with the cavity fields initially prepared in a two-mode squeezed vacuum state (TMSVS). We investigate the short time evolution of Bell-nonlocality of the fields interacting with one or two atoms. It is shown that the Bell-inequality violation of the fields can be fully destroyed in a finite time and reappears in the later time. After Bell-nonlocality sudden death (BNSD) in some cases, Bell-nonlocality of the fields almost but does not totally return to its initial value when the squeezing parameter for the fields is small. The pattern of Bell-nonlocality evolution is dependent on the squeezing parameter of the fields, the detuning between the atomic transition and field frequency and the differences between atom-field couplings. 相似文献
