Experiments on the L-2M stellarator have shown the occurrence of steady-state low-frequency strong structural (LFSS) turbulence throughout the entire plasma column. A key feature of LFSS turbulence is the presence of stochastic plasma structures. It is shown that different types of LFSS turbulence are correlated throughout the entire plasma volume. Stable non-Gaussian probability density distributions of all of the fluctuating plasma parameters are measured. The characteristic spatial and time scales of LFSS turbulence, which is responsible for non-Brownian diffusion in plasma, are determined.  相似文献

The regime of strong Langmuir turbulence characterized by the plasma nonisothermality and by the presence of an appreciable non-Maxwellian hot-electron component was experimentally studied. Turbulence was excited in the preliminary produced plasma by the relativistic electron beam. Thomson scattering of laser IR radiation served as the main diagnostic method. The spatial spectra of the Langmuir turbulence and of the attendant ion-sound turbulence were studied using Thomson collective scattering. Thomson incoherent scattering was used for studying the plasma electron distribution function and searching for the local dips of plasma density. Stark spectroscopy of turbulent microfields and the method of observation of plasma radiation at the double plasma frequency were also used. Based on the experimental data, the mechanism of Langmuir oscillation damping by plasma electrons was analyzed. The Langmuir wave conversion induced by the ion-sound turbulence is the most probable channel for energy transfer from the turbulence to plasma electrons, the low-frequency fluctuations being the direct consequence of the strong Langmuir turbulence.  相似文献

通过探讨高超声速再入湍流尾迹等离子体场中电磁波的散射机制,推导出在工程上描述湍流亚密等离子体雷达散射的一阶畸变波Born近似模型,分析了该模型在充分发展湍流尾迹等离子体场中的适用性,完成了适用于三维尾迹等离子体场的程序设计.以已有的湍流尾迹等离子体流场数据为基础,分析了再入尾迹湍流等离子体流动对雷达散射截面的影响.选取考察的几个有代表性的因素为:湍流模型、转捩过程、湍流尺度、电子组分脉动初始条件等.由结果可以看到,湍流转捩过程和湍流尺度对雷达散射截面值影响不大;电子组份脉动强度初始值影响较明显;湍流模型在特定条件下影响亦不大.  相似文献

The results of investigations of the temporal evolution of high-frequency plasma turbulence obtained by measurements of stimulated ionospheric emission (SIE) features for different stages of interaction of powerful radio emission, with an ionospheric F region plasma are presented. It is found that the relaxation time decreased up to 2–4 times with increase in the pump duration and pumping power under the conditions of striction parametric instability (excitation of Langmuir plasma turbulence) over times t≤2.00 ms. A similar decrease of the SIE relaxation time was also observed under the conditions of thermal parametric instability (excitation of upper-hybrid plasma turbulence) in long-term quasicontinuous heating of ionospheric plasma. The possible mechanisms of collisionless dissipation of plasma turbulence energy are discussed to explain the observed dependence of the plasma wave damping rate on the temperal stage of development and intensity of plasma turbulence. 评述和分析了磁约束核聚变理论研究、数值模拟和实验研究等方面最近几年共同关心的一个重要问题——寻找托卡马克等离子体湍流中的带状剪切流(zonal flows)。简要介绍了作者最近对电阻性-重力模湍流中的带状剪切流的研究结果。 Progress of the research on the zonal flows in tokamak plasma turbulence is surveyed, especially it is reviewed that the zonal flows observed in the experiments and numerical simulations on atmosphere turbulence and ocean turbulence and the discovery of H-mode in tokamak experiments how lead the researchers in magnetic confinement fusion community to find out the existence of the zonal flow in tokamak plasma turbulence and subsequently give the experimental verification of its existence. 对等离子体湍流速度场的有效探测,有助于更加深入了解磁约束等离子体湍流以及实现对某些理论预言现象和结构(如带状流)的充分辨识.本文将基于动态程序规划的时间延迟估算技术成功应用于直线磁化等离子体装置中热阴极放电条件下的漂移波湍流角向速度涨落的实验分析,并且其结果清晰再现了漂移波湍流中通过非线性能量耦合自发产生的带状流结构.通过对采用不同频段等离子体湍流涨落通过基于动态程序规划的时间延迟估算分析所再现的带状流结构特征进行比较,进一步就该算法对载波信号中非相干噪声相对水平的抗干扰能力进行了定性评估.这些工作的成功开展,对于通过采用基于动态程序规划的时间延迟估算分析技术更为深入有效探索磁约束等离子体湍流行为特征,尤其是速度涨落场的演化提供了重要的借鉴和参考价值.  相似文献

Understandings of turbulent plasma have been developed along with nuclear fusion research for more than a half century. Long international research has produced discoveries concerning turbulent plasma that allow us to notice the hidden nature and physics questions that could contribute to other scientific fields and the development of technologies. Guiding concepts have been established up to now that stimulate investigations on turbulent plasma. Research based on concepts concerning symmetry breaking and global linkage requires observing the entire field of plasma turbulence for an ultimate understanding of plasma. This article reviews the achievements as well as contemporary problems regarding turbulence experiments associated with strongly magnetized plasmas in the last and present century, and introduces forthcoming experimental issues, including new diagnostics and physics-oriented devices related to plasma turbulence.  相似文献

The fully developed turbulence can be regarded as a nonlinear system, with wave coupling inside, which causes the nonlinear energy to transfer, and drives the turbulence to develop further or be suppressed. Spectral analysis is one of the most effective methods to study turbulence system. In order to apply it to the study of the nonlinear wave coupling process of edge plasma turbulence, an efficient algorithm based on spectral analysis technology is proposed to solve the nonlinear wave coupling equation. The algorithm is based on a mandatory temporal static condition with the nonideal spectra separated from the ideal spectra. The realization idea and programing flow are given. According to the characteristics of plasma turbulence, the simulation data are constructed and used to verify the algorithm and its implementation program. The simulation results and experimental results show the accuracy of the algorithm and the corresponding program, which can play a great role in the studying the energy transfer in edge plasma turbulences. As an application, the energy cascade analysis of typical edge plasma turbulence is carried out by using the results of a case calculation. Consequently, a physical picture of the energy transfer in a kind of fully developed turbulence is constructed, which confirms that the energy transfer in this turbulent system develops from lower-frequency region to higher-frequency region and from linear growing wave to damping wave.  相似文献

The scattering of electromagnetic waves in the ionospheric plasma under weak turbulence is considered. A relation between the scattered radiation spectrum and the plasma turbulence spectra is obtained.
