The least mean square error difference (LMS-ED) minimum criterion for an adaptive chaotic noise canceller is proposed in this paper. Different from traditional least mean square error minimum criterion in which the error is uncorrelated with the input vector, the proposed LMS-ED minimum criterion tries to minimize the correlation between the error difference and input vector difference. The novel adaptive LMS-ED algorithm is then derived to update the weights of adaptive noise canceller. A comparison between cancelling performances of adaptive least mean square (LMS), normalized LMS (NLMS) and proposed LMS-ED algorithms is simulated by using three kinds of chaotic noises. The simulation results clearly show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the LMS and NLMS algorithms in achieving small values of steady-state excess mean square error. Moreover, the computational complexity of the proposed LMS-ED algorithm is the same as that of the standard LMS algorithms.  相似文献

针对常数模和判决引导双模式盲均衡算法切换时机选择困难问题,提出了一种并联滤波的双模式融合盲均衡算法。算法以并联滤波器作为盲均衡器,两路子滤波器分别以常数模算法准则和判决引导算法准则进行更新,通过加权因子实现两种算法模式自适应切换,完成两种算法的融合处理,加权因子依据归一化均方误差进行调整。为防止信道突发干扰,定义了归一化均方误差信息熵增量,以信息熵增量为判据适时实现均衡器和加权因子重置,使算法在信道突发干扰条件下能实现自适应跟踪。计算机仿真和水池试验处理结果表明:该算法有效地结合了常数模和判决引导算法的优点,具有较好的均衡性能。   相似文献

Room response equalization systems are used for improving the listening experience in cinema theatres, home theatres, car hi-fi systems. In this paper, an adaptive multichannel and multiple position room response equalization system and its real-time implementation are described. An adaptive and accurate estimation of the room responses is provided introducing a normalized least mean square optimization approach with a variable step-size, and taking advantage of an interchannel coherence reduction technique based on the missing fundamental phenomenon. Then, the equalizer is designed in warp frequency domain for improving equalization in the low frequency region, reducing the computational cost of the design procedure, and deriving an algorithm capable of working in real time. Indeed, a real-time implementation of the proposed adaptive equalizer has been obtained on NU-Tech framework and has been used in order to provide a deep objective and subjective evaluation of the equalization system. The results of these evaluations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, also in comparison with other techniques of the state of the art.  相似文献

针对混沌通信系统中非线性信道干扰问题,基于混沌信号重构理论和Legendre正交多项式结构,提出了一种自适应神经Legendre正交多项式信道均衡器,并给出相应的归一化最小均方算法. 仿真研究表明:所提出的自适应神经Legendre正交多项式信道均衡器能有效地消除线性和非线性信道干扰,均衡器输出信号能反映出混沌信号的特性,具有良好的抗干扰性能.该均衡器的结构简单,权系数参数较少,收敛稳定性较好. 关键词: Legendre 正交多项式 信道均衡 混沌吸引子 神经网络  相似文献

针对紫外光通信中传统自适应最小均方(LMS)算法存在的不足,提出了一种新的变步长LMS(VSS-LMS)算法,利用MATLAB仿真验证了该算法的可行性,以TMS320VC5509为核心设计了数字信号处理(DSP)最小化硬件系统和VSS-LMS算法的软件流程,在硬件上实现了传统LMS算法和新的VSS-LMS算法的自适应滤波,并进行了对比分析,结果表明所提出的VSS-LMS算法具有较快的收敛速度和较小的稳态误差,这对紫外光通信接收系统的设计和优化具有一定的参考意义。  相似文献

This paper presents the theoretical analysis of adaptive multiuser RAKE receiver scheme in frequency selective fading channel for direct-sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) system. Least mean square (LMS) algorithm is used to estimate the channel coefficients. Chaotic sequences are used as spreading sequence and corresponding bit error rate (BER) in closed form is derived for imperfect channel estimation conditions. Performances of chaotic sequences are compared with pseudorandom noise (PN) sequences. Under perfect synchronization assumption, various simulation results are shown to investigate the performance of the proposed system.  相似文献

A method of modifying the architecture of fractional least mean square (FLMS) algorithm is presented to work with nonlinear time series prediction. Here we incorporate an adjustable gain parameter in the weight adaptation equation of the original FLMS algorithm and absorb the gamma function in the fractional step size parameter. This approach provides an interesting achievement in the performance of the filter in terms of handling the nonlinear problems with less computational burden by avoiding the evaluation of complex gamma function. We call this new algorithm as the modified fractional least mean square (MFLMS) algorithm. The predictive performance for the nonlinear Mackey glass chaotic time series is observed and evaluated using the classical LMS, FLMS, kernel LMS, and proposed MFLMS adaptive filters. The simulation results for the time series with and without noise confirm the superiority and improvement in the prediction capability of the proposed MFLMS predictor over its counterparts.  相似文献

针对混沌通信系统的非线性信道干扰问题,基于混沌信号重构理论和函数型连接神经网络理论,提出了一种横向滤波器与函数型连接神经网络组合(combination of transversal filter and functional link neural network,CFFLNN)的自适应非线性信道均衡器,并给出基于低复杂度归一化最小均方(NLMS)的自适应算法,并对该均衡器的稳定性以及收敛条件进行了分析.该非线性自适应均衡器充分利用了横向滤波器的快速收敛,以及函数型连接神经网络通过增大输入空间提高非线性逼近能力的特点,进一步提高均衡器的收敛速度和降低稳态误差.仿真研究表明:所提出的非线性自适应均衡器能够有效地消除线性和非线性信道干扰,均衡器输出信号能反映出混沌信号的特性,具有良好的抗干扰性能;且该均衡器的结构简单,收敛稳定性较好,易于工程实现. 关键词: 非线性信道 自适应均衡器 混沌吸引子 神经网络  相似文献

Channel noise is often assumed to be Gaussian in most of the existing channel equalization algorithms. The performance of these algorithms will degrade seriously when the noise is non-Gaussian. This paper deals with the problem of blind channel equalization in impulsive noise environment that is modeled as α-stable process. A modified adaptive error-constrained constant modulus algorithm (MAECCMA) is proposed by soft-limiting the amplitude of the equalizer input and transforming the error signal of the original adaptive error-constrained constant modulus algorithm (AECCMA) nonlinearly to suppress the influence of α-stable noise. Computer simulation results of two underwater acoustic channels show that, MAECCMA has almost the same performance as AECCMA and they both have faster convergence rate than constant modulus algorithm (CMA) and normalized least mean absolute deviation (NLMAD) algorithm in Gaussian noise, while MAECCMA provides the best performance of those four algorithms in α-stable noise.  相似文献

针对混沌直接序列扩频信号(以下称混沌直扩信号)通过非理想信道,利用信道和混沌直扩信号的状态方程及其均衡和解调的关联性,提出一种基于状态估计的联合均衡与解调算法.算法采用多扩展卡尔曼滤波(extended kalman filter,EKF)结构,一边对信道均衡,一边估计二进制信息码,二者互为因果,同时进行,不仅可以有效克服非理想信道所带来的多径信道畸变、加性噪声等对信号的影响,还可将掩藏在混沌直扩信号中的原始二进制信息码解调出来,比均衡和解调分离的做法更有效地利用信息,有更好的实时性.仿真结果表明,所提出的算法收敛速度快,能在信道特性未知情况下较好地抵御多径效应和噪声影响,实现了混沌直扩信号在非理想信道条件下的有效可靠传输. 关键词: 混沌直扩通信 非理想信道 联合均衡与解调算法 扩展卡尔曼滤波  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive step-size modified fractional least mean square (AMFLMS) algorithm to deal with a nonlinear time series prediction. Here we incorporate adaptive gain parameters in the weight adaptation equation of the original MFLMS algorithm and also introduce a mechanism to adjust the order of the fractional derivative adaptively through a gradient-based approach. This approach permits an interesting achievement towards the performance of the filter in terms of handling nonlinear problems and it achieves less computational burden by avoiding the manual selection of adjustable parameters. We call this new algorithm the AMFLMS algorithm. The predictive performance for the nonlinear chaotic Mackey Glass and Lorenz time series was observed and evaluated using the classical LMS, Kernel LMS, MFLMS, and the AMFLMS filters. The simulation results for the Mackey glass time series, both without and with noise, confirm an improvement in terms of mean square error for the proposed algorithm. Its performance is also validated through the prediction of complex Lorenz series.  相似文献

This paper addresses the problem of the speech quality improvement using adaptive filtering algorithms. Recently in Djendi and Bendoumia (2014) [1], we have proposed a new two-channel backward algorithm for noise reduction and speech intelligibility enhancement. The main drawback of proposed two-channel subband algorithm is its poor performance when the number of subband is high. This inconvenience is well seen in the steady state regime values. The source of this problem is the fixed step-sizes of the cross-adaptive filtering algorithms that distort the speech signal when they are selected high and degrade the convergence speed behaviours when they are selected small. In this paper, we propose four modifications of this algorithm which allow improving both the convergence speed and the steady state values even in very noisy condition and a high number of subbands. To confirm the good performance of the four proposed variable-step-size SBBSS algorithms, we have carried out several simulations in various noisy environments. In these simulations, we have evaluated objective and subjective criteria as the system mismatch, the cepstral distance, the output signal-to-noise-ratio, and the mean opinion score (MOS) method to compare the four proposed variables step-size versions of the SBBSS algorithm with their original versions and with the two-channel fullband backward (2CFB) least mean square algorithm.  相似文献

针对常数模盲均衡算法(CMA)均衡高阶正交振幅调制信号(QAM)存在收敛速度慢、稳态误差大的缺点, 提出了基于量子粒子群优化的正交小波加权多模盲均衡算法(QPSO-WTWMMA). 该算法根据高阶QAM信号星座图分布特点, 将量子粒子群优化算法(QPSO) 和正交小波变换融入于加权多模盲均衡算法(WMMA)中. 因而, 利用QPSO对均衡器权向量进行了优化, 利用正交小波变换降低了输入信号的自相关性, 利用WMMA选择了合适的误差模型匹配QAM星座图. 理论分析及水声信道仿真结果表明, QPSO-WTWMMA算法可以获得更快的收敛速度和更低的稳态误差, 在水声通信中具有重要的参考价值.  相似文献

High bit rates optical communication systems pose the challenge of their tolerance to linear and non-linear fiber impairments. Coherent optical receivers using digital signal processing techniques can mitigate the fiber impairments in the optical transmission system, including the chromatic dispersion equalization with digital filters. In this paper, an adaptive finite impulse response filter employing normalized least mean square algorithm is developed for compensating the chromatic dispersion in a 112-Gbit/s polarization division multiplexed quadrature phase shift keying coherent communication system, which is established in the VPI simulation platform. The principle of the adaptive normalized least mean square algorithm for signal equalization is analyzed theoretically, and at the meanwhile, the taps number and the tap weights in the adaptive finite impulse response filter for compensating a certain fiber chromatic dispersion are also investigated by numerical simulation. The chromatic dispersion compensation performance of the adaptive filter is analyzed by evaluating the behavior of the bit-error-rate versus the optical signal-to-noise ratio, and the compensation results are also compared with other present digital filters.  相似文献

The feedback active noise control (ANC) can be seen as a predictor, the conventional method based on filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm can only be useful for linear and tonal noise, but for nonlinear and broadband noise, it is useless. The feedback ANC using functional link artificial neural networks (FLANN) based on filtered-s least mean square (FSLMS) algorithm can reduce some nonlinear noise such as chaotic noise, but the noise cancellation performance is not very well, at the same time, it is not useful to random noise. To solve the problem above, a new feedback ANC using wavelet packet FXLMS (WPFXLMS) algorithm is proposed in this paper. By decomposing the broadband noise into several band-limited parts which are predictable and each part is controlled independently, the proposed algorithm can not only suppress the chaotic noise, but also mitigate the random noise. Compared with FXLMS and FSLMS algorithms, proposed WPFXLMS algorithm also holds the best performance on noise cancellation. Numerous simulations are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed WPFXLMS algorithm.  相似文献

基于混沌载波的有界性和最优定界椭球(OBE)准则,推导出了已知干扰信号模型参数的状态估计和未知干扰信号模型参数的自适应状态估计的干扰对消算法.与基于最小相空间体积(MPSV)的Kalman滤波和传统的递归最小二乘(RLS)算法相比,本算法具有选择更新特性,能在仅有少量数据参与更新的情况下达到与前者接近的性能,降低了计算量.该方法的性能通过在混沌参数调制(CPM)和差分混沌相移键控(DCSK)两种通信方式下对自回归(AR)型和单音两种窄带干扰的有效抑制得到了验证. 关键词: 最优定界椭球 混沌通信 干扰抑制 集员估计  相似文献

提出了少参数二阶Volterra滤波器的一种离散余弦变换(DCT)域二次滤波实现结构及其NLMS自适应算法,并用这种DCT域二次滤波预测器研究了三种连续混沌信号的非线性实时多步预测性能. 仿真研究结果表明:(1) 这种DCT域二次滤波预测器比少参数二阶Volterra滤波器的一步预测均方误差性能提高了100倍,表明这种实现结构简单、易实现,且具有更好的收敛性能;(2)采用这种滤波预测器对三种连续混沌时间序列的实时多步预测性能明显优于局域法的多步预测性能. 关键词: 混沌 实时预测 NLMS自适应算法  相似文献

为提高最大相关熵算法对混沌时间序列的预测速度和精度,提出了一种新的分数阶最大相关熵算法.在采用最大相关熵准则的基础上,利用分数阶微分设计了一种新的权重更新方法.在alpha噪声环境下,采用新的分数阶最大相关熵算法对Mackey-Glass和Lorenz两类具有代表性的混沌时间序列进行预测,并分析了分数阶的阶数对混沌时间序列预测性能的影响.仿真结果表明:与最小均方算法、最大相关熵算法以及分数阶最小均方算法三类自适应滤波算法相比,所提分数阶最大相关熵算法在混沌时间序列预测中能够有效地抑制非高斯脉冲噪声干扰的影响,具有较快收的敛速度和较低的稳态误差.  相似文献

In active noise control (ANC) systems, virtual microphones provide a means of projecting the zone of quiet away from the physical microphone to a remote location. To date, linear ANC algorithms, such as the filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm, have been used with virtual sensing techniques. In this paper, a nonlinear ANC algorithm is developed for a virtual microphone by integrating the remote microphone technique with the filtered-s least mean square (FSLMS) algorithm. The proposed algorithm is evaluated experimentally in the cancellation of chaotic noise in a one-dimensional duct. The secondary paths evaluated experimentally exhibit non-minimum phase response and hence poor performance is obtained with the conventional FXLMS algorithm compared to the proposed FSLMS based algorithm. This is because the latter is capable of predicting the chaotic signal found in many physical processes responsible for noise. In addition, the proposed algorithm is shown to outperform the FXLMS based remote microphone technique under the causality constraint (when the propagation delay of the secondary path is greater than the primary path). A number of experimental results are presented in this paper to compare the performance of the FSLMS algorithm based virtual ANC algorithm with the FXLMS based virtual ANC algorithm.  相似文献
