为探索和研究新的X光激光泵浦机制,我们研究了泵浦靶辐射X射线特性。先后在“星光”和“神光”激光装置上开展了该项工作。主要介绍“神光”装置上的实验工作。实验所用泵浦靶材料为Na/F和Cu。实验给出了Na/F和Cu靶辐射X射线谱(波长范围分别为1.1~1.5nm,1.1~1.3nm);给出了X射线相对强度随激光功率密度及靶厚度的变化情况。并比较了靶前、后X射线相对强度。同时,实验还给出了线状泵浦源辐射X射线的空间分布。 相似文献

在“星光Ⅱ”激光装置上对Mg/Al混合材料平面靶和Mg/Al示踪层金盘靶进行三倍频激光打靶实验,用平面晶体谱仪测量靶材料发射的X射线能谱,获取了示踪离子谱线实验数据.采用多组态Dirac-Fock方法计算所需原子参数,并在局域热动平衡条件下建立了双示踪离子谱线强度比随电子温度变化关系.在此基础上由双示踪元素等电子谱线法确定了Mg/Al混合材料平面靶及金盘靶激光等离子体的电子温度

The X-ray source based on Thomson scattering of ultrashort laser pulse with a relativistic electron beam is a means of generating a tunable, narrow bandwidth and ultrashort pulse of hard X-rays. Such a sub-picosecond hard X-ray source is proposed at Tsinghua University, and a preliminary experiment with a 16 MeV Backward Traveling electron linac and a 1.5 J, 6 ns Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is carried out first. A 6 ns pulse X-ray with a peak energy of 4.6 keV and an intensity of 1.7×104 per pulse is generated successfully in the experiment. 针对常规内爆背光照相中存在的光源均匀性差、 靶丸图像烧蚀层与气体层界面不清晰、 瞄准精度差等关键问题设计了新型的背光照相靶. 在神光II大型激光装置上采用阵列点光源结合相衬成像的方式获取了清晰的靶丸烧蚀层与气体层界面信息, 同时具备光源均匀性好, 成像视场大的优点; 采用诊断狭缝限光的方式大大提高了瞄准精度使得整体图像质量优于常规靶设计. 实验结果表明, 激光驱动等离子体产生的点光源结合相衬成像方法在精密物理诊断中具有重要的作用, 可以广泛应用于惯性约束聚变以及高能量密度物理研究.

We propose a plasma channel scheme to obtain an improved
table-top laser driven fusion neutron yield as a result of explosions of
large deuterium clusters irradiated by an intense laser pulse. A cylindrical
plasma channel is created by two moderate intensity laser prepulses at the
edge of a deuterium cluster jet along which an intense main laser pulse
propagates several nanoseconds later. With the aid of this plasma channel,
the main laser pulse will be allowed to deposit its energy into the central
region of the deuterium gas jet where the cluster sizes are larger and the
atomic density is higher. The plasma channel formation and its impact on the
deuterium ion energy spectrum and the consequent fusion neutron yield have
been investigated. The calculated results show that a remarkable increase of
the table-top laser driven fusion neutron yield would be expected. 相似文献

介绍了在“神光”装置上进行的不同类型腔靶X射线面、体发射物理机制的实验研究。实验采用波长为1.053μm的激光,脉冲波形为高斯型,能量为500一700J/束,脉冲宽度为600一1000ps.典型靶由三个柱型腔组成,采取双束对打,两端的腔为吸收-转换区(源区),中间腔为辐射加热的内爆区。给出源区及内爆区X射线面、体发射测量结果,并通过分析、估算给出面、体发射强度比。

An analysis for designing capillary Z-pinch plasma as an alternative active medium of soft X-ray laser is presented. The validity of calculation results are verified by experiment. Namely, the specification of driving current as well as the predicted pinch time is in good agreement with the experimental results. 激光辐照靶产生的等离子体电子密度的诊断对于惯性约束聚变、高能量密度物理等相关领域的研究具有重要意义,特别是高Z材料等离子体临界面附近的电子密度分布信息的测量. 利用软X射线激光作为探针是诊断等离子体电子密度分布的一种重要方法,但在诊断激光辐照高Z材料产生的等离子体研究中,遇到了高Z材料等离子体自发辐射过大的问题,难以开展. 为此,针对软X射线激光的特点,发展了多种具体的实验技术. 通过综合利用这些技术,大大的抑制了待测等离子体自发辐射对信号的影响,使得软X射线激光探针诊断高Z材料等离子体成为可能. 作为典型例子,实验诊断了激光辐照金平面靶的等离子体,获得了清晰的实验图像,表明相关的技术是有效和可行的.

The influence of prepulses on the conversion efficiency (CE) of laser radiation into 13 nm extreme ultraviolet (EUV) radiation,
resulting from lithium-like oxygen ions from O20 μm water droplets, was investigated. The laser pulse durations in the experiment
ranged from 200 fs to 120 ps. Applying prepulses preceding the main pulse at various delays of up to 11 ns, it was shown that
the CE increases differently for each measured pulse duration. The strongest dependence on the introduction of a prepulse
was observed for 2 ps laser pulses with a 20 mJ laser pulse energy. The EUV CE was improved by a factor of 15 by the introduction
of a prepulse. Calculations on the atomic physics of oxygen ions and simulations of the laser–plasma interaction revealed
the influence of the prepulse on the EUV yield.
