Let G be a simple graph. A total coloring f of G is called E-total-coloring if no two adjacent vertices of G receive the same color and no edge of G receives the same color as one of its endpoints. For E-total-coloring f of a graph G and any vertex u of G, let Cf （u） or C（u） denote the set of colors of vertex u and the edges incident to u. We call C（u） the color set of u. If C（u） ≠ C（v） for any two different vertices u and v of V（G）, then we say that f is a vertex-distinguishing E-total-coloring of G, or a VDET coloring of G for short. The minimum number of colors required for a VDET colorings of G is denoted by X^evt（G）, and it is called the VDET chromatic number of G. In this article, we will discuss vertex-distinguishing E-total colorings of the graphs mC3 and mC4.     

Measure Estimates of Nodal Sets of Polyharmonic Functions

This paper deals with the function u which satisfies△k_u = 0, where k≥2 is an integer. Such a function u is called a polyharmonic function. The author gives an upper bound of the measure of the nodal set of u, and shows some growth property of u.     

Three solutions of p-Laplacian equations via a critical point theorem of Ricceri

In this paper,we consider the following quasilinear diferential equation(p(u′))′+λf(t,u)=0subject to one of the two boundary conditions:u(0)=u′(1)=0,u′(0)=u(1)=0.After transforming them into a problem of symmetrical solutions,the existence of three solutions of the problem is obtained by using a recent critical point theorem of Recceri.An example is given to demonstrate our main result.     

Local times of linear multifractional stable sheets

Let X^H(u)(u)={X^H(u)(u);u∈R^N+}be linear multifractional stable sheets with index functional H(u),where H(u)=(H1(u),…,HN(u))is a function with values in(0;1)N.Based on some assumptions of H(u),we obtain the existence of the local times of X^H(u)(u)and establish its joint continuity and the Holder regularity.These results generalize the corresponding results about fractional stable sheets to multifractional stable sheets.

SOME BOUNDARY INCREASING PROPERTIES OF HARMONIC FUNCTIONS IN LIPSCHITZ DOMAIN

The object of this paper is to study the non-tangential increasing properties of positiveharmonic function u in Lipschitz domain by means of Martin representation theory. A necessaryand sufficient condition of the control of growth of u near any fixed boundary point is obtained.It is shown that the non-tangential increasing degree of u near a boundary point is exactlythe local degree of its representation measure with respect to the harmonic measure. Someexamples are given.

The hyper-Wiener index is a kind of extension of the Wiener index, used for predicting physicochemical properties of organic compounds. The hyper-Wiener index W W(G) is defined as WW(G) =1/2∑_(u,v)∈V(G)(d_G(u, v) + d_G~2(u,v)) with the summation going over all pairs of vertices in G, d_G(u,v) denotes the distance of the two vertices u and v in the graph G. In this paper,we study the minimum hyper-Wiener indices among all the unicyclic graph with n vertices and diameter d, and characterize the corresponding extremal graphs.     

Characterization of types of asymptotic discernibility of families of hypotheses

We give a characterization of the types of asymptotic discernibility of families of hypotheses in the case of hypothetical measures that are not, in general, mutually absolutely continuous. The case when the logarithm of the likelihood ratio admits an asymptotic expansion of the type of an expansion with local asymptotic normality is examined in detail. We analyze one class of families of integral equations and describe the dependence of the singularities of solutions of integral equations on the dimensions of the families of kernels of equations. Emptiness of set of points of lower semicontinuity of Lyapunov exponents

We consider parametric families of differential systems with coefficients that are bounded and continuous on the half-line and uniformly in time continuously depend on a real parameter. For each Lyapunov exponent, we construct a family such that the Lyapunov exponent of its systems treated as a function of the parameter is not a lower semicontinuous function for any value of the parameter.
