We deal with the Cauchy problem for the space-time fractional diffusion equation, which is obtained from standard diffusion equation by replacing the second-order space derivative with a Caputo (or Riemann-Liouville) derivative of order β∈(0, 2] and the first-order time derivative with Caputo derivative of order α∈(0, 1]. The fundamental solution (Green function) for the Cauchy problem is investigated with respect to its scaling and similarity properties, starting from its Fourier-Laplace representation. We derive explicit expression of the Green function. The Green function also can be interpreted as a spatial probability density function evolving in time. We further explain the similarity property by discussing the scale-invariance of the space-time fractional diffusion equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a time-space fractional diffusion equation of distributed order (TSFDEDO). The TSFDEDO is obtained from the standard advection-dispersion equation by replacing the first-order time derivative by the Caputo fractional derivative of order α∈(0,1], the first-order and second-order space derivatives by the Riesz fractional derivatives of orders β 1∈(0,1) and β 2∈(1,2], respectively. We derive the fundamental solution for the TSFDEDO with an initial condition (TSFDEDO-IC). The fundamental solution can be interpreted as a spatial probability density function evolving in time. We also investigate a discrete random walk model based on an explicit finite difference approximation for the TSFDEDO-IC.  相似文献

We develop a space-time fractional Schrödinger equation containing Caputo fractional derivative and the quantum Riesz fractional operator from a space fractional Schrödinger equation in this paper. By use of the new equation we study the time evolution behaviors of the space-time fractional quantum system in the time-independent potential fields and two cases that the order of the time fractional derivative is between zero and one and between one and two are discussed respectively. The space-time fractional Schrödinger equation with time-independent potentials is divided into a space equation and a time one. A general solution, which is composed of oscillatory terms and decay ones, is obtained. We investigate the time limits of the total probability and the energy levels of particles when time goes to infinity and find that the limit values not only depend on the order of the time derivative, but also on the sign (positive or negative) of the eigenvalues of the space equation. We also find that the limit value of the total probability can be greater or less than one, which means the space-time fractional Schrödinger equation describes the quantum system where the probability is not conservative and particles may be extracted from or absorbed by the potentials. Additionally, the non-Markovian time evolution laws of the space-time fractional quantum system are discussed. The formula of the time evolution of the mechanical quantities is derived and we prove that there is no conservative quantities in the space-time fractional quantum system. We also get a Mittag-Leffler type of time evolution operator of wave functions and then establish a Heisenberg equation containing fractional operators.  相似文献

In this paper, radial basis functions (RBFs) approximation method is implemented for time fractional advection–diffusion equation on a bounded domain. In this method the first order time derivative is replaced by the Caputo fractional derivative of order α  (0, 1], and spatial derivatives are approximated by the derivative of interpolation in the Kansa method. Stability and convergence of the method is discussed. Several numerical examples are include to demonstrate effectiveness and accuracy of the method.  相似文献

In this paper, a time fractional advection-dispersion equation is considered. From the relationship between the Caputo derivative and the Grunwald derivative, the Caputo derivative is approximated by using the Griinwald derivative. An implicit difference approximation for this equation is proposed. We prove that this approximation is unconditionally stable and convergent. Finally, numerical examples are given.  相似文献

In this paper, a Cauchy problem for the time fractional advection-dispersion equation (TFADE) is investigated. Such a problem is obtained from the classical advection-dispersion equation by replacing the first-order time derivative by the Caputo fractional derivative of order . We show that the Cauchy problem of TFADE is severely ill-posed and further apply a spectral regularization method to solve it based on the solution given by the Fourier method. The convergence estimate is obtained under a priori bound assumptions for the exact solution. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed numerical method.  相似文献

A time fractional advection-dispersion equation is obtained from the standard advection-dispersion equation by replacing the firstorder derivative in time by a fractional derivative in time of order α(0<α<-1). Using variable transformation, Mellin and Laplace transforms, and properties of H-functions, we derive the complete solution of this time fractional advection-dispersion equation.  相似文献

In this paper, the space-time Riesz fractional partial differential equations with periodic conditions are considered. The equations are obtained from the integral partial differential equation by replacing the time derivative with a Caputo fractional derivative and the space derivative with Riesz potential. The fundamental solutions of the space Riesz fractional partial differential equation (SRFPDE) and the space-time Riesz fractional partial differential equation (STRFPDE) are discussed, respectively. Using methods of Fourier series expansion and Laplace transform, we derive the explicit expressions of the fundamental solutions for the SRFPDE and the STRFPDE, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a space-time Riesz–Caputo fractional advection-diffusion equation. The equation is obtained from the standard advection-diffusion equation by replacing the first-order time derivative by the Caputo fractional derivative of order α ∈ (0,1], the first-order and second-order space derivatives by the Riesz fractional derivatives of order β 1 ∈ (0,1) and β 2 ∈ (1,2], respectively. We present an explicit difference approximation and an implicit difference approximation for the equation with initial and boundary conditions in a finite domain. Using mathematical induction, we prove that the implicit difference approximation is unconditionally stable and convergent, but the explicit difference approximation is conditionally stable and convergent. We also present two solution techniques: a Richardson extrapolation method is used to obtain higher order accuracy and the short-memory principle is used to investigate the effect of the amount of computations. A numerical example is given; the numerical results are in good agreement with theoretical analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, a compact finite difference method is proposed for the solution of time fractional advection-dispersion equation which appears extensively in fluid dynamics. In this approach the time fractional derivative of mentioned equation is approximated by a scheme of order O(τ 2???α ), 0?<?α?<?1, and spatial derivatives are replaced with a fourth order compact finite difference scheme. We will prove the unconditional stability and solvability of proposed scheme. Also we show that the method is convergence with convergence order O(τ 2???α ?+?h 4). Numerical examples confirm the theoretical results and high accuracy of proposed scheme.  相似文献

The determination of a space‐dependent source term along with the solution for a 1‐dimensional time fractional diffusion equation with nonlocal boundary conditions involving a parameter β>0 is considered. The fractional derivative is generalization of the Riemann‐Liouville and Caputo fractional derivatives usually known as Hilfer fractional derivative. We proved existence and uniqueness results for the solution of the inverse problem while over‐specified datum at 2 different time is given. The over‐specified datum at 2 time allows us to avoid initial condition in terms of fractional integral associated with Hilfer fractional derivative.  相似文献

In this paper, homotopy perturbation transform method and modified homotopy analysis method have been applied to obtain the approximate solutions of the time fractional coupled Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equations. We consider fractional coupled Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equation with appropriate initial values using homotopy perturbation transform method and modified homotopy analysis method. Here we obtain the solution of fractional coupled Klein–Gordon–Zakharov equation, which is obtained by replacing the time derivatives with a fractional derivatives of order α ∈ (1, 2], β ∈ (1, 2]. Through error analysis and numerical simulation, we have compared approximate solutions obtained by two present methods homotopy perturbation transform method and modified homotopy analysis method. The fractional derivatives here are described in Caputo sense.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a nonhomogeneous space‐time fractional telegraph equation defined in a bounded space domain, which is obtained from the standard telegraph equation by replacing the first‐order or second‐order time derivative by the Caputo fractional derivative , α > 0 and the Laplacian operator by the fractional Laplacian ( ? Δ)β ∕ 2, β ∈ (0,2]. We discuss and derive the analytical solutions under nonhomogeneous Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions by using the method of separation of variables. The obtained solutions are expressed through multivariate Mittag‐Leffler type functions. Special cases of solutions are also discussed.

We derive a spectral collocation approximation to the fractional Laplacian operator based on the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative operators on a bounded domain Ω = [a, b]. Corresponding matrix representations of (?△) α/2 for α ∈ (0,1) and α ∈ (1,2) are obtained. A space-fractional advection-dispersion equation is then solved to investigate the numerical performance of this method under various choices of parameters. It turns out that the proposed method has high accuracy and is efficient for solving these space-fractional advection-dispersion equations when the forcing term is smooth.  相似文献

We investigate the fractional differential equation u″ + A c D α u = f(t, u, c D μ u, u′) subject to the boundary conditions u′(0) = 0, u(T)+au′(T) = 0. Here α ∈ (1, 2), µ ∈ (0, 1), f is a Carathéodory function and c D is the Caputo fractional derivative. Existence and uniqueness results for the problem are given. The existence results are proved by the nonlinear Leray-Schauder alternative. We discuss the existence of positive and negative solutions to the problem and properties of their derivatives.  相似文献

This paper presents an efficient numerical technique for solving a class of time-fractional diffusion equation. The time-fractional derivative is described in the Caputo form. The L1 scheme is used for discretization of Caputo fractional derivative and a collocation approach based on sextic B-spline basis function is employed for discretization of space variable. The unconditional stability of the fully-discrete scheme is analyzed. Two numerical examples are considered to demonstrate the accuracy and applicability of our scheme. The proposed scheme is shown to be sixth order accuracy with respect to space variable and (2 − α)-th order accuracy with respect to time variable, where α is the order of temporal fractional derivative. The numerical results obtained are compared with other existing numerical methods to justify the advantage of present method. The CPU time for the proposed scheme is provided.  相似文献

In this paper we intend to accomplish two tasks firstly, we address some basic errors in several recent results involving impulsive fractional equations with the Caputo derivative, and, secondly, we study initial value problems for nonlinear differential equations with the Riemann–Liouville derivative of order 0 < α ≤ 1 and the Caputo derivatives of order 1 < δ < 2. In both cases, the corresponding fractional derivative of lower order is involved in the formulation of impulsive conditions.  相似文献

This paper studies partial differential equation model with the new general fractional derivatives involving the kernels of the extended Mittag–Leffler type functions. An initial boundary value problem for the anomalous diffusion of fractional order is analyzed and considered. The fractional derivative with Mittag–Leffler kernel or also called Atangana and Baleanu fractional derivative in time is taken in the Caputo sense. We obtain results on the existence, uniqueness, and regularity of the solution.  相似文献

In this paper, symmetric space-fractional partial differential equations (SSFPDE) with the Riesz fractional operator are considered. The SSFPDE is obtained from the standard advection-dispersion equation by replacing the first-order and second-order space derivatives with the Riesz fractional derivatives of order 2β ∈ (0, 1) and 2α ∈ (1, 2], respectively. We prove that the variational solution of the SSFPDE exists and is unique. Using the Galerkin finite element method and a backward difference technique, a fully discrete approximating system is obtained, which has a unique solution according to the Lax-Milgram theorem. The stability and convergence of the fully discrete schemes are derived. Finally, some numerical experiments are given to confirm our theoretical analysis.  相似文献
