Let(T, d) be a dendrite with finite branch points and f be a continuous map from T to T. Denote byω(x,f) and P(f) the ω-limit set of x under f and the set of periodic points of,respectively. Write Ω(x,f) = {y| there exist a sequence of points x_k E T and a sequence of positive integers n_1 n_2 … such that lim_(k→∞)x_k=x and lim_(k→∞)f~(n_k)(x_k) =y}. In this paper, we show that the following statements are equivalent:(1) f is equicontinuous.(2) ω(x, f) = Ω(x,f) for any x∈T.(3) ∩_(n=1)~∞f~n(T) = P(f),and ω(x,f)is a periodic orbit for every x ∈ T and map h : x→ω(x,f)(x ET)is continuous.(4) Ω(x,f) is a periodic orbit for any x∈T.  相似文献

We prove generalized Hyers-Ulam–Rassias stability of the cubic functional equation f(kx+y)+f(kx?y)=k[f(x+y)+f(x?y)]+2(k 3?k)f(x) for all \(k\in \Bbb{N}\) and the quartic functional equation f(kx+y)+f(kx?y)=k 2[f(x+y)+f(x?y)]+2k 2(k 2?1)f(x)?2(k 2?1)f(y) for all \(k\in \Bbb{N}\) in non-Archimedean normed spaces.  相似文献

Let G be a simple algebraic group defined over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 or a good prime for G. Let U be a maximal unipotent subgroup of G and \( \mathfrak{u} \) its Lie algebra. We prove the separability of orbit maps and the connectedness of centralizers for the coadjoint action of U on (certain quotients of) the dual \( \mathfrak{u} \)* of \( \mathfrak{u} \). This leads to a method to give a parametrization of the coadjoint orbits in terms of so-called minimal representatives which form a disjoint union of quasi-affine varieties. Moreover, we obtain an algorithm to explicitly calculate this parametrization which has been used for G of rank at most 8, except E8.When G is defined and split over the field of q elements, for q the power of a good prime for G, this algorithmic parametrization is used to calculate the number k(U(q); \( \mathfrak{u} \)*(q)) of coadjoint orbits of U(q) on \( \mathfrak{u} \)*(q). Since k(U(q), \( \mathfrak{u} \)*(q)) coincides with the number k(U(q)) of conjugacy classes in U(q), these calculations can be viewed as an extension of the results obtained in [11]. In each case considered here there is a polynomial h(t) with integer coefficients such that for every such q we have k(U(q)) = h(q). We also explain implications of our results for a parametrization of the irreducible complex characters of U(q).  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the normal families of meromorphic functions and shared functions. Generalizing a result of Chang (2013), we prove the following theorem. Let h (≠≡ 0,∞) be a meromorphic function on a domain D and let k be a positive integer. Let F be a family of meromorphic functions on D, all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least k + 2, such that for each pair of functions f and g from F, f and g share the value 0, and f(k) and g(k) share the function h. If for every fF, at each common zero of f and h the multiplicities mf for f and mh for h satisfy mfmh + k + 1 for k > 1 and mf ≥ 2mh + 3 for k = 1, and at each common pole of f and h, the multiplicities nf for f and nh for h satisfy nfnh + 1, then the family F is normal on D.  相似文献

Let S be a countable semigroup acting in a measure-preserving fashion (g ? T g ) on a measure space (Ω, A, µ). For a finite subset A of S, let |A| denote its cardinality. Let (A k ) k=1 be a sequence of subsets of S satisfying conditions related to those in the ergodic theorem for semi-group actions of A. A. Tempelman. For A-measureable functions f on the measure space (Ω, A, μ) we form for k ≥ 1 the Templeman averages \(\pi _k (f)(x) = \left| {A_k } \right|^{ - 1} \sum\nolimits_{g \in A_k } {T_g f(x)}\) and set V q f(x) = (Σ k≥1|π k+1(f)(x) ? π k (f)(x)|q)1/q when q ∈ (1, 2]. We show that there exists C > 0 such that for all f in L 1(Ω, A, µ) we have µ({x ∈ Ω: V q f(x) > λ}) ≤ C(∫Ω | f | dµ/λ). Finally, some concrete examples are constructed.  相似文献

Let IK be an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 complete for an ultrametric absolute value. Following results obtained in complex analysis, here we examine problems of uniqueness for meromorphic functions having finitely many poles, sharing points or a pair of sets (C.M. or I.M.) defined either in the whole field IK or in an open disk, or in the complement of an open disk. Following previous works in C, we consider functions fn(x)fm(ax + b), gn(x)gm(ax + b) with |a| = 1 and nm, sharing a rational function and we show that f/g is a n + m-th root of 1 whenever n + m ≥ 5. Next, given a small function w, if n, m ∈ IN are such that |n ? m| ≥ 5, then fn(x)fm(ax + b) ? w has infinitely many zeros. Finally, we examine branched values for meromorphic functions fn(x)fm(ax + b).  相似文献

Let g be an element of a finite group G. For a positive integer n, let E n (g) be the subgroup generated by all commutators [...[[x, g], g],..., g] over xG, where g is repeated n times. By Baer’s theorem, if E n (g) = 1, then g belongs to the Fitting subgroup F(G). We generalize this theorem in terms of certain length parameters of E n (g). For soluble G we prove that if, for some n, the Fitting height of E n (g) is equal to k, then g belongs to the (k+1)th Fitting subgroup Fk+1(G). For nonsoluble G the results are in terms of nonsoluble length and generalized Fitting height. The generalized Fitting height h*(H) of a finite group H is the least number h such that Fh* (H) = H, where F0* (H) = 1, and Fi+1(H)* is the inverse image of the generalized Fitting subgroup F*(H/F*i (H)). Let m be the number of prime factors of |g| counting multiplicities. It is proved that if, for some n, the generalized Fitting height of E n (g) is equal to k, then g belongs to F*f(k,m)(G), where f(k, m) depends only on k and m. The nonsoluble length λ(H) of a finite group H is defined as the minimum number of nonsoluble factors in a normal series each of whose factors either is soluble or is a direct product of nonabelian simple groups. It is proved that if λ(E n (g)) = k, then g belongs to a normal subgroup whose nonsoluble length is bounded in terms of k and m. We also state conjectures of stronger results independent of m and show that these conjectures reduce to a certain question about automorphisms of direct products of finite simple groups.  相似文献

The paper considers cubature formulas for calculating integrals of functions f(X), X = (x 1, …, x n ) which are defined on the n-dimensional unit hypercube K n = [0, 1] n and have integrable mixed derivatives of the kind \(\partial _{\begin{array}{*{20}c} {\alpha _1 \alpha _n } \\ {x_1 , \ldots , x_n } \\ \end{array} } f(X)\), 0 ≤ α j ≤ 2. We estimate the errors R[f] = \(\smallint _{K^n } \) f(X)dX ? Σ k = 1 N c k f(X(k)) of cubature formulas (c k > 0) as functions of the weights c k of nodes X(k) and properties of integrable functions. The error is estimated in terms of the integrals of the derivatives of f over r-dimensional faces (rn) of the hypercube K n : |R(f)| ≤ \(\sum _{\alpha _j } \) G j )\(\int_{K^r } {\left| {\partial _{\begin{array}{*{20}c} {\alpha _1 \alpha _n } \\ {x_1 , \ldots , x_n } \\ \end{array} } f(X)} \right|} \) dX r , where coefficients G j ) are criteria which depend only on parameters c k and X(k). We present an algorithm to calculate these criteria in the two- and n-dimensional cases. Examples are given. A particular case of the criteria is the discrepancy, and the algorithm proposed is a generalization of those used to compute the discrepancy. The results obtained can be used for optimization of cubature formulas as functions of c k and X(k).  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate some stability results concerning the k-cubic functional equation f(kx + y) + f(kx?y) = kf(x + y) + kf(x?y) + 2k(k2?1)f(x) in the intuitionistic fuzzy n-normed spaces.  相似文献

A self-adjoint differential operator \(\mathbb{L}\) of order 2m is considered in L 2[0,∞) with the classic boundary conditions \(y^{(k_1 )} (0) = y^{(k_2 )} (0) = y^{(k_3 )} (0) = \ldots = y^{(k_m )} (0) = 0\), where 0 ≤ k 1 < k 2 < ... < k m ≤ 2m ? 1 and {k s } s=1 m ∪ {2m ? 1 ? k s } s=1 m = {0, 1, 2, ..., 2m ? 1}. The operator \(\mathbb{L}\) is perturbed by the operator of multiplication by a real measurable bounded function q(x) with a compact support: \(\mathbb{P}\) f(x) = q(x)f(x), fL 2[0,). The regularized trace of the operator \(\mathbb{L} + \mathbb{P}\) is calculated.  相似文献

It was proved that the complexity of square root computation in the Galois field GF(3s), s = 2kr, is equal to O(M(2k)M(r)k + M(r) log2r) + 2kkr1+o(1), where M (n) is the complexity of multiplication of polynomials of degree n over fields of characteristics 3. The complexity of multiplication and division in the field GF(3s) is equal to O(M(2k)M(r)) and O(M(2k)M(r)) + r1+o(1), respectively. If the basis in the field GF(3r) is determined by an irreducible binomial over GF(3) or is an optimal normal basis, then the summands 2kkr1+o(1) and r1+o(1) can be omitted. For M(n) one may take n log2nψ(n) where ψ(n) grows slower than any iteration of the logarithm. If k grow and r is fixed, than all the estimates presented here have the form Or (M (s) log 2s) = s (log 2s)2ψ(s).  相似文献

Let k be an algebraically closed field of characteristic p > 0, X a smooth projective variety over k with a fixed ample divisor H, FX : XX the absolute Frobenius morphism on X. Let E be a rational GLn(k)-bundle on X, and ρ : GLn(k) → GLm(k) a rational GLn(k)-representation of degree at most d such that ρ maps the radical RGLn(k)) of GLn(k) into the radical R(GLm(k)) of GLm(k). We show that if \(F_X^{N*}(E)\) is semistable for some integer \(N \ge {\max {_{0 < r < m}}}(_r^m) \cdot {\log _p}(dr)\), then the induced rational GLm(k)-bundle E(GLm(k)) is semistable. As an application, if dimX = n, we get a sufficient condition for the semistability of Frobenius direct image \(F_{X*}(\rho*(\Omega_X^1))\), where \(\rho*(\Omega_X^1)\) is the vector bundle obtained from \(\Omega_X^1\) via the rational representation ρ.  相似文献

We present conditions that allow us to prove the existence of eigenvalues and characteristic values for operator F(D) ? C(λ): L 2(R m ) → L 2(R m ), where F(D) is a pseudo-differential operator with a symbol F() and C(λ): L 2(R m ) → L 2(R m ) is a linear continuous operator.  相似文献

For any positive integers k and m, the k-step m-competition graph C m k (D) of a digraph D has the same set of vertices as D and there is an edge between vertices x and y if and only if there are distinct m vertices v1, v2, · · ·, v m in D such that there are directed walks of length k from x to v i and from y to v i for all 1 ≤ im. The m-competition index of a primitive digraph D is the smallest positive integer k such that C m k (D) is a complete graph. In this paper, we obtained some sharp upper bounds for the m-competition indices of various classes of primitive digraphs.  相似文献

Let G = (V,A) be a digraph and k ≥ 1 an integer. For u, vV, we say that the vertex u distance k-dominate v if the distance from u to v at most k. A set D of vertices in G is a distance k-dominating set if each vertex of V D is distance k-dominated by some vertex of D. The distance k-domination number of G, denoted by γ k (G), is the minimum cardinality of a distance k-dominating set of G. Generalized de Bruijn digraphs G B (n, d) and generalized Kautz digraphs G K (n, d) are good candidates for interconnection networks. Denote Δ k := (∑ j=0 k d j )?1. F. Tian and J. Xu showed that ?nΔ k ? γ k (G B (n, d)) ≤?n/d k? and ?nΔ k ? ≤ γ k (G K (n, d)) ≤ ?n/d k ?. In this paper, we prove that every generalized de Bruijn digraph G B (n, d) has the distance k-domination number ?nΔ k ? or ?nΔ k ?+1, and the distance k-domination number of every generalized Kautz digraph G K (n, d) bounded above by ?n/(d k?1+d k )?. Additionally, we present various sufficient conditions for γ k (G B (n, d)) = ?nΔ k ? and γ k (G K (n, d)) = ?nΔ k ?.  相似文献

In this paper, we give a new definition for the space of non-holomorphic Jacobi Maaß forms (denoted by J k,m nh ) of weight k∈? and index m∈? as eigenfunctions of a degree three differential operator \(\mathcal{C}^{k,m}\). We show that the three main examples of Jacobi forms known in the literature: holomorphic, skew-holomorphic and real-analytic Eisenstein series, are contained in J k,m nh . We construct new examples of cuspidal Jacobi Maaß forms F f of weight k∈2? and index 1 from weight k?1/2 Maaß forms f with respect to Γ0(4) and show that the map f ? F f is Hecke equivariant. We also show that the above map is compatible with the well-known representation theory of the Jacobi group. In addition, we show that all of J k,m nh can be “essentially” obtained from scalar or vector valued half integer weight Maaß forms.  相似文献

Let \({f(x)=(x-a_1)\cdots (x-a_m)}\), where a 1, . . . , a m are distinct rational integers. In 1908 Schur raised the question whether f(x) ± 1 is irreducible over the rationals. One year later he asked whether \({(f(x))^{2^k}+1}\) is irreducible for every k ≥ 1. In 1919 Pólya proved that if \({P(x)\in\mathbb{Z}[x]}\) is of degree m and there are m rational integer values a for which 0 < |P(a)| < 2?N N! where \({N=\lceil m/2\rceil}\), then P(x) is irreducible. A great number of authors have published results of Schur-type or Pólya-type afterwards. Our paper contains various extensions, generalizations and improvements of results from the literature. To indicate some of them, in Theorem 3.1 a Pólya-type result is established when the ground ring is the ring of integers of an arbitrary imaginary quadratic number field. In Theorem 4.1 we describe the form of the factors of polynomials of the shape h(x) f(x) + c, where h(x) is a polynomial and c is a constant such that |c| is small with respect to the degree of h(x) f(x). We obtain irreducibility results for polynomials of the form g(f(x)) where g(x) is a monic irreducible polynomial of degree ≤ 3 or of CM-type. Besides elementary arguments we apply methods and results from algebraic number theory, interpolation theory and diophantine approximation.  相似文献

Every automaton (a letter-to-letter transducer) A whose both input and output alphabets are F p = {0, 1,..., p - 1} produces a 1-Lipschitz map f A from the space Z p of p-adic integers to Z p . The map fA can naturally be plotted in a unit real square I2 ? R2: To an m-letter non-empty word v = γ m-1γ m-2... γ0 there corresponds a number 0.v ∈ R with base-p expansion 0.γ m-1γ m-2... γ0; so to every m-letter input word w = α m-1α m-2 ··· α0 of A and to the respective m-letter output word a(w) = β m-1β m-2 ··· β0 of A there corresponds a point (0.w; 0.a(w)) ∈ R2. Denote P(A) a closure of the point set (0.w; 0.a(w)) where w ranges over all non-empty words.We prove that once some points of P(A) constitute a C 2-smooth curve in R2, the curve is a segment of a straight line with a rational slope. Moreover, when identifying P(A) with a subset of a 2-dimensional torus T2 ∈ R3, the smooth curves from P(A) constitute a collection of torus windings which can be ascribed to complex-valued functions ψ(x, t) = e i(Ax-2πBt) (x, t ∈ R), i.e., to matter waves. As automata are causal discrete systems, the main result may serve a mathematical reasoning why wave phenomena are inherent in quantum systems: This is just because of causality principle and discreteness of matter.  相似文献
