Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is called an ?-subgroup in G if N G (H) ∩ H x  ≤ H for all x ∈ G. A subgroup H of G is called weakly ?-subgroup in G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is an ?-subgroup in G. In this article, we investigate the structure of the finite group G under the assumption that all maximal subgroups of every Sylow subgroup of some normal subgroup of G are weakly ?-subgroups in G. Some recent results are extended and generalized.  相似文献

Let \(\mathcal{F}\) be a class of groups and G a finite group. We call a set Σ of subgroups of G a G-covering subgroup system for  \(\mathcal{F}\) if \(G\in \mathcal{F}\) whenever \(\Sigma \subseteq \mathcal{F}\). Let p be any prime dividing |G| and P a Sylow p-subgroup of G. Then we write Σ p to denote the set of subgroups of G which contains at least one supplement to G of each maximal subgroup of P. We prove that the sets Σ p and Σ p ∪Σ q , where qp, are G-covering subgroup systems for many classes of finite groups.  相似文献

Let ? be a class of groups. Given a group G, assign to G some set of its subgroups Σ = Σ(G). We say that Σ is a G-covering system of subgroups for ? (or, in other words, an ?-covering system of subgroups in G) if G ∈ ? wherever either Σ = ? or Σ ≠ ? and every subgroup in Σ belongs to ?. In this paper, we provide some nontrivial sets of subgroups of a finite group G which are G-covering subgroup systems for the class of supersoluble groups. These are the generalizations of some recent results, such as in [1–3].  相似文献

Let G be a finite group and H a subgroup of G. We say that H is an ?-subgroup in G if NG(H) ∩ Hg ≤ H for all g ∈ G; H is called weakly ?-subgroup in G if G has a normal subgroup K such that G = HK and HK is an ?-subgroup in G. We say that H is weakly ? -embedded in G if G has a normal subgroup K such that HG = HK and HK is an ?-subgroup in G. In this paper, we investigate the structure of the finite group G under the assumption that some subgroups of prime power order are weakly ?-embedded in G. Our results improve and generalize several recent results in the literature.  相似文献

Suppose G is a finite group and H is subgroup of G. H is said to be s-permutably embedded in G if for each prime p dividing |H|, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some s-permutable subgroup of G; H is called weakly s-permutably embedded in G if there are a subnormal subgroup T of G and an s-permutably embedded subgroup H se of G contained in H such that G = HT and H ∩ T ≤ H se . We investigate the influence of weakly s-permutably embedded subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

We say that a subgroup H of a finite group G is nearly S-permutable in G if for every prime p such that (p, |H|) = 1 and for every subgroup K of G containing H the normalizer N K (H) contains some Sylow p-subgroup of K. We study the structure of G under the assumption that some subgroups of G are nearly S-permutable in G.  相似文献

Summary A subgroup H of a group G is said to be π-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G, and H is said to be π-quasinormally embedded in G if for each prime dividing the order of H, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some π-quasinormal subgroups of G. We characterize p-nilpotentcy of finite groups with the assumption that some maximal subgroups, 2-maximal subgroups, minimal subgroups and 2-minimal subgroups are π-quasinormally embedded, respectively.  相似文献

A subgroup H is called Q-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K is contained in H QG , where H QG is the maximal quasinormal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we investigate the influence of Q-supplementation of some primary subgroups in finite groups. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is said to be weakly s-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK ≤ H s G , where H s G is the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are s-quasinormal in G. In this article, we investigate the structure of G under the assumption that some families of subgroups of G are weakly s-supplemented in G. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

Suppose that G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G. We say that H is ssemipermutable in G if HGv = GpH for any Sylow p-subgroup Gp of G with (p, |H|) = 1. We investigate the influence of s-semipermutable subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some recent results are generalized and unified.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group and H ≤ G. The subgroup H is called: S-permutable in G if HP = PH for all Sylow subgroups P of G; S-permutably embedded in G if each Sylow subgroup of H is also a Sylow subgroup of some S-permutable subgroup of G.

Let H be a subgroup of a group G. Then we say that H is SQ-supplemented in G if G has a subgroup T and an S-permutably embedded subgroup C ≤ H such that HT = G and TH ≤ C.

We study the structure of G under the assumption that some subgroups of G are SQ-supplemented in G. Some known results are generalized.  相似文献

Abstract

A subgroup H of G is said to be c-normal in G if there exists a normal subgroup N of G such that HN = G and H ∩ N ≤ H G  = Core(H). We extend the study on the structure of a finite group under the assumption that all maximal or minimal subgroups of the Sylow subgroups of the generalized Fitting subgroup of some normal subgroup of G are c-normal in G. The main theorems we proved in this paper are:

Theorem Let ? be a saturated formation containing 𝒰. Suppose that G is a group with a normal subgroup H such that G/H ∈ ?. If all maximal subgroups of any Sylow subgroup of F*(H) are c-normal in G, then G ∈ ?.

Let H be a subgroup of a finite group G. H is said to be λ-supplemented in G if G has a subgroup T such that G = HT and HT ≤ H SE , where H SE denotes the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H, which are S-quasinormally embedded in G. In this article, some results about the λ-supplemented subgroups are obtained, by which we determine the structure of some classes of finite groups. In particular, some new characterizations of p-supersolubility of finite groups are given under the assumption that some primary subgroups are λ-supplemented. As applications, a number of previous known results are generalized.  相似文献

Let H be a subgroup of a group G. We say that H satisfies the power condition with respect to G, or H is a power subgroup of G, if there exists a non-negative integer m such that H = G m  = 〈 g m |g ? G 〉. In this note, the following theorem is proved: Let G be a group and k the number of nonpower subgroups of G. Then (1) k = 0 if and only if G is a cyclic group (theorem of F. Szász); (2) 0 < k < ∞ if and only if G is a finite noncyclic group; (3) k = ∞ if and only if G is a infinte noncyclic group. Thus we get a new criterion for the finite noncyclic groups.  相似文献

Let ? be a complete set of Sylow subgroups of a finite group G, that is, a set composed of a Sylow p-subgroup of G for each p dividing the order of G. A subgroup H of G is called ?-S-semipermutable if H permutes with every Sylow p-subgroup of G in ? for all p?π(H); H is said to be ?-S-seminormal if it is normalized by every Sylow p-subgroup of G in ? for all p?π(H). The main aim of this paper is to characterize the ?-MS-groups, or groups G in which the maximal subgroups of every Sylow subgroup in ? are ?-S-semipermutable in G and the ?-MSN-groups, or groups in which the maximal subgroups of every Sylow subgroup in ? are ?-S-seminormal in G.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup K of a group G is called an ?-subgroup of G if N G (K) ∩ K x  ≦ K for all x ? G. The set of all ?-subgroups of G will be denoted by ?(G). Let P be a nontrivial p-group. A chain of subgroups 1 = P 0 ? P 1 ? ··· ? P n  = P is called a maximal chain of P provided that |P i : P i?1| = p, i = 1, 2, ···, n. A nontrivial p-subgroup P of G is called weakly supersolvably embedded in G if P has a maximal chain 1 = P 0 ? P 1 ? ··· ? P i  ? ··· ? P n  = P such that P i  ? ?(G) for i = 1, 2, ···, n. Using the concept of weakly supersolvably embedded, we obtain new characterizations of p-nilpotent and supersolvable finite groups.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of a group G is said to be c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K ≤ H G , where H G  = Core G (H) is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we investigate the structure of a finite group G under the assumption that subgroups of prime order are c-supplemented in G. Moreover, we analyze the structure of a group G when the minimal subgroups of the generalized Fitting subgroup F?(G) of G are c-supplemented in G through the theory of formations.  相似文献

A subgroup H is called ?-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and H 1 B is a proper subgroup of G for any maximal subgroup H 1 of H. In this article, we investigate the influence of ?-supplementation of some primary subgroups in finite groups. Some new results about supersolvable groups and formation are obtained.  相似文献
