We say that a subgroup H of a finite group G is nearly S-permutable in G if for every prime p such that (p, |H|) = 1 and for every subgroup K of G containing H the normalizer N K (H) contains some Sylow p-subgroup of K. We study the structure of G under the assumption that some subgroups of G are nearly S-permutable in G.  相似文献

Let ? be a class of groups and G a finite group. We call a set Σ of subgroups of G a G-covering subgroup system for ? if G ∈ ? whenever Σ ? ?. For a non-identity subgroup H of G, we put Σ H be some set of subgroups of G which contains at least one supplement in G of each maximal subgroup of H. Let p ≠ q be primes dividing |G|, P, and Q be non-identity a p-subgroup and a q-subgroup of G, respectively. We prove that Σ P and Σ P  ∪ Σ Q are G-covering subgroup systems for many classes of finite groups.  相似文献

Suppose G is a finite group and H is subgroup of G. H is said to be s-permutably embedded in G if for each prime p dividing |H|, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some s-permutable subgroup of G; H is called weakly s-permutably embedded in G if there are a subnormal subgroup T of G and an s-permutably embedded subgroup H se of G contained in H such that G = HT and H ∩ T ≤ H se . We investigate the influence of weakly s-permutably embedded subgroups on the structure of finite groups. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

Suppose that H is a subgroup of a finite group G. H is called π-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G; H is called π-quasinormally embedded in G provided every Sylow subgroup of H is a Sylow subgroup of some π-quasinormal subgroup of G; H is called c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup N of G such that G = HN and HNH G = Core G (H). In this paper, finite groups G satisfying the condition that some kinds of subgroups of G are either π-quasinormally embedded or c-supplemented in G, are investigated, and theorems which unify some recent results are given.   相似文献

Summary A subgroup H of a group G is said to be π-quasinormal in G if it permutes with every Sylow subgroup of G, and H is said to be π-quasinormally embedded in G if for each prime dividing the order of H, a Sylow p-subgroup of H is also a Sylow p-subgroup of some π-quasinormal subgroups of G. We characterize p-nilpotentcy of finite groups with the assumption that some maximal subgroups, 2-maximal subgroups, minimal subgroups and 2-minimal subgroups are π-quasinormally embedded, respectively.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a group G is called s-semipermutable in G if it is permutable with all Sylow p-subgroups of G with (p,∣H∣) for all primes p such that pG ∣. In this pa-per, we investigate the influence of s-semipermutable and abnormal subgroups on the structure of a finite group and classify such finite groups in which every subgroup is either s-semipermutable or abnormal.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is said to be weakly s-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK ≤ H s G , where H s G is the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are s-quasinormal in G. In this article, we investigate the structure of G under the assumption that some families of subgroups of G are weakly s-supplemented in G. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

A condition for the solvability of finite groups   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
A subgroup H is called ?-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = HB and H 1 B is a proper subgroup of G for every maximal subgroup H 1 of H. We investigate the influence of ?-supplementation of Sylow subgroups and obtain a condition for solvability and p-supersolvability of finite groups.  相似文献

A subgroup H is said to be c-normal in a group G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H K is contained in HG, where HG is the maximal normal subgroup of G. We determine the structures of some groups in which some primary subgroups is c-normal.AMS Mathematics Subject Classification (2000) 20D10 20D20  相似文献

Abstract

A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be Hall subnormally embedded in G if there is a subnormal subgroup N of G such that H is a Hall subgroup of N. A Schmidt group is a finite non-nilpotent group whose all proper subgroups are nilpotent. We prove the nilpotency of the second derived subgroup of a finite group in which each Schmidt subgroup is Hall subnormally embedded.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is called an ?-subgroup in G if N G (H) ∩ H x  ≤ H for all x ∈ G. A subgroup H of a finite group G is said to be c-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and HK is contained in H G , where H G is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we prove that G is solvable if every subgroup of prime odd order of G is c-supplemented in G. Moreover, we prove that G is solvable if and only if every Sylow subgroup of odd order of G is c-supplemented in G. These results improve and extend the classical results of Hall's articles of (1937) and the recent results of Ballester-Bolinches and Guo's article of (1999), Ballester-Bolinches et al.'s article of (2000), and Asaad and Ramadan's article of (2008).  相似文献

A proper subgroup H of a group G is said to be strongly isolated if it contains the centralizer of any nonidentity element of H and 2-isolated if the conditions >C G(g) H 1 and 2(CG(g)) imply that CG(g)H. An involution i in a group G is said to be finite if |ii g| < (for any g G). In the paper we study a group G with finite involution i and with a 2-isolated locally finite subgroup H containing an involution. It is proved that at least one of the following assertions holds:1) all 2-elements of the group G belong to H;2) (G,H) is a Frobenius pair, H coincides with the centralizer of the only involution in H, and all involutions in G are conjugate;3) G=FFCG(i) is a locally finite Frobenius group with Abelian kernel F;4) H=V D is a Frobenius group with locally cyclic noninvariant factor D and a strongly isolated kernel V, U=O2(V) is a Sylow 2-subgroup of the group G, and G is a Z-group of permutations of the set =U g g G.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group, E a normal subgroup of G and p a fixed prime. We say that E is p-hypercyclically embedded in G if every p-G-chief factor of E is cyclic. A subgroup H of G is said to satisfy Π-property in G if |GK:NGK((HL)KK)| is a π((HL)KK)-number for any chief factor LK in G; we say that H has Π*-property in G if HOπ(H)(G) has Π-property in G. In this paper, we prove that E is p-hypercyclically embedded in G if and only if some classes of p-subgroups of E have Π*-property in G. Some recent results are extended.  相似文献

A subgroup H of a group G is said to be weakly normal if H g  = H whenever g is an element of G such that H g  ≤ N G (H). There is a strictly relation between weak normality and groups in which normality is a transitive relation ( T-groups). In [Ballester-Bolinches, A., Esteban-Romero, R. (2003). On finite T-groups. J. Aust. Math. Soc. 75:181–191] it is proved that a finite group G is a soluble T-group if and only if every subgroup of G is weakly normal. In this article, we extend the above result to infinite groups having no infinite simple sections. Moreover, it will be shown that every locally graded non-periodic group, all of whose subgroups are weakly normal, is abelian.  相似文献

A subgroup H is called Q-supplemented in a finite group G, if there exists a subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H ∩ K is contained in H QG , where H QG is the maximal quasinormal subgroup of G contained in H. In this article, we investigate the influence of Q-supplementation of some primary subgroups in finite groups. Some recent results are generalized.  相似文献

We give a sufficient condition on a finite p-group G of nilpotency class 2 so that Aut c (G) = Inn(G), where Aut c (G) and Inn(G) denote the group of all class preserving automorphisms and inner automorphisms of G respectively. Next we prove that if G and H are two isoclinic finite groups (in the sense of P. Hall), then Aut c (G) ≃ Aut c (H). Finally we study class preserving automorphisms of groups of order p 5, p an odd prime and prove that Aut c (G) = Inn(G) for all the groups G of order p 5 except two isoclinism families.  相似文献

Smooth Groups   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
A group is called smooth if it has a finite maximal chain of subgroups in which any two intervals of the same length are isomorphic (as lattices). We show that every finite smooth group G is a semidirect product of a p-group by a cyclic group; in particular, G is soluble. We determine the exact structure of G if G is not a p-group.  相似文献
