一问题的提出本刊2003年第5期刊载了《运用发现法解题》(以下简称《解题》)一文,文章在谈到“归纳发现法”时,提到这样一个例子: 1.观察下列各式

<正>九年义务教育三年制初中《代数》第一册(上)第38页,B组第二题为:正整数从1开始,逐个相加,一直加到n,它们的和记作s,即s=1+2+3+…+n(n表示一个正整数),写出计算s的公式.这道题目中含有字母且设问富有思考性,解题方法体现了数学方法,更重要的是结果能作公式用,而且应用分层次用.为帮助同学理解这些特点,现对这道题进行解读,供同学们参考.     

More on the Difference Equation y n + 1 = ( p + y n −1 )/( qy n + y n −1 )

From previous studies of the equation in the title with positive parameters p and q and positive initial conditions we know that if q h 4 p + 1 then the equilibrium is a global attractor. We also know that if q > 4 p + 1 then every solution eventually enters and remains in the interval [ p / q , 1]. In this strip there exists a "unique" prime period two solution that is locally asymptotically stable. In this paper, we provide more insight as to the behavior of solutions of the equation in the title in the strip [ p / q , 1], where a one-dimensional stable manifold lives.

关于数列{Γ(n+1/2)/√nΓ(n/2)}+∞n=1的极限

用单调有界定理证明了数列{Γ(n+1/2)/√nΓ(n/2)}+∞n=1的奇子列和偶子列极限的存在性,并给出了该数列的极限为1/√2.本文所得结果对帮助学生更好理解概率统计论中t分布密度函数的极限函数的证明有一定指导作用.

We present some comments on the behavior of solutions of the difference equation where p _i 0, i = 1,..., k, k N, and x _–k ,..., x _–1 R.     

Rigid Sets of Dimension n – 1 in ℝ n

We give conditions allowing an intrinsic isometry on a dense subset to be extended to an isometry of the whole set. This enables us to find examples of (n-1)-dimensional sets rigid in ⁿ .     

重要极限limn→∞(1+(1n))n=e的注记

利用平均值不等式对重要极限limn→∞(1 1/n)^n=e给出一个较简捷的证明方法。利用证明过程中所得到的不等式还可求得e的任意精度的近似值。

We study the global asymptotic stability, global attractivity, boundedness character, and periodic nature of all positive solutions and all negative solutions of the difference equation $$x_{n + 1} = \alpha - \frac{{x_n }}{{x_{n - 1} }}, n = 0,1,...,$$ where α∈R is a real number, and the initial conditionsx?1,x ₀ are arbitrary real numbers.

学生曾问我“20022003与20032002谁大?”,他钻研后认为n(n 1)与(n 1)n(n∈N)当n取较小的值时,有时前者比后者小,有时前者比后者大,当n取较大的值时,又不好证明,这引起了我们的研究兴趣。     

The [n 1,n 2, ...,n s]-th reduced KP hierarchy andW 1+∞ constraints

To every partition n=n₁+n₂+...+n_s one can associate a vertex operator realization of the Lie algebras a and gl_n. Using this construction, we obtain reductions of the s-component KP hierarchy, reductions which are related to these partitions. In this way we obtain matrix KdV-type equations.
