LetE be a rigid separable Banach space andm a bounded Borel measure onE. Let Ext denote the family of all gradient type Dirichlet forms onL 2(E, m) such that the domain of their extended generators (cf. Definition 1.1) contain the smooth functions. We prove three results. First, we prove the existence of the maximum element in Ext whenever Ext is not empty. Secondly, let be the maximum element in Ext (when Ext Ø) and let be a positive function in D(). We define a new measure =2·m and we consider the family Ext associated with the measure . We prove that if is associated with a diffusion process, Ext is not empty and its maximum element is also associated with a diffusion process. Finally, whenm is a centered Gaussian measure onE, we can prove that Ext contains exactly one element.  相似文献

Summary Let denote the class of infinite product probability measures = 1× 2× defined on an infinite product of replications of a given measurable space (X, A), and let denote the subset of for which (A) =0 or 1 for each permutation invariant event A. Previous works by Hewitt and Savage, Horn and Schach, Blum and Pathak, and Sendler (referenced in the paper) discuss very restrictive sufficient conditions under which a given member , of belongs to . In the present paper, the class is shown to possess several closure properties. E.g., if and 0 n for some n 1, then 0× 1× 2×.... While the current results do not permit a complete characterization of they demonstrate conclusively that is a much larger subset of than previous results indicated. We provide an infinite dimensional version of Rademacher's theorem in a linear space provided with a bounded Radon measure . The underlying concepts of the Lipschitz property and differentiability hold -almost everywhere and only in the linear subspace of directions along which is quasiinvariant. Summary We derive two large deviation principles of Freidlin-Wentzell type for rescaled super-Brownian motion. For one of the appearing rate functions an integral representation is given and interpreted as Kakutani-Hellinger energy. As a tool we develop estimates for the Laplace functionals of (historical) super-Brownian motion and certain maximal inequalities. We show thatL 1 (G) is semi-simple and give a characterization of the closed ideals ofL 1 (G). Using the -spherical Fourier transform, we characterize all linear bounded operators inL 1 (G) which are invariants by -translations (i.e. such that 1(( x f) )=( x ((f)) for eachxG andfL 1 (G); where x f(y)=f(xy); x,y G). WhenG is compact, we study the algebraL 1 (G) and obtain results analogous to ones obtained for the commutative case: we show thatL 1 (G) is regular, all closed sets of its Guelfand spectrum are sets of synthesis and establish theorems of harmonic synthesis for functions inL p (G) (p=1,2 or +).

Summary A new approach is provided to the super-Brownian motionX with a single point-catalyst c as branching rate. We start from a superprocessU with constant branching rate and spatial motion given by the 1/2-stable subordinator. We prove that the occupation density measure c ofX at the catalystc is distributed as the total occupation time measure ofU. Furthermore, we show thatX t is determined from c by an explicit representation formula. Heuristically, a mass c (ds) of particles leaves the catalyst at times and then evolves according to Itô's Brownian excursion measure. As a consequence of our representation formula, the density fieldx ofX satisfies the heat equation outside ofc, with a noisy boundary condition atc given by the singularly continuous random measure c . In particular,x isC outside the catalyst. We also provide a new derivation of the singularity of the measure c .  相似文献

Summary The Dawson-Watanabe super-Brownian motion has been intensively studied in the last few years. In particular, there has been much work concerning the Hausdorff dimension of certain remarkable sets related to super-Brownian motion. We contribute to this study in the following way. Let (Y t)t0 be a super-Brownian motion on d (d2) andH be a Borel subset of d . We determine the Hausdorff Dimension of {t0; SuppY tHØ}, improving and generalizing a result of Krone. We also obtain a new proof of a result of Tribe which gives, whend4, the Hausdorff dimension of SuppY t as a function of the dimension ofB.  相似文献
