An optimization control problem for a hyperbolic equation is considered. The system is nonlinear with respect to the state derivative. The regularization technique for the state equation is applied. The necessary conditions of optimality for the regularized control problem are proved. It uses the extended differentiability of the control-state mapping for the regularized equation. The convergence of the regularization method is proved. Thus the optimal control for the regularized problem with a small enough regularization parameter can be chosen as an approximate solution of the initial optimization problem.  相似文献

The paper deals with optimal control of heterogeneous systems, that is, families of controlled ODEs parameterized by a parameter running over a domain called domain of heterogeneity. The main novelty in the paper is that the domain of heterogeneity is endogenous: it may depend on the control and on the state of the system. This extension is crucial for several economic applications and turns out to rise interesting mathematical problems. A necessary optimality condition is derived, where one of the adjoint variables satisfies a differential inclusion (instead of equation) and the maximization of the Hamiltonian takes the form of ??min-max??. As a consequence, a Pontryagin-type maximum principle is obtained under certain regularity conditions for the optimal control. A formula for the derivative of the objective function with respect to the control from L ?? is presented together with a sufficient condition for its existence. A stylized economic example is investigated analytically and numerically.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a boundary control problem governed by a class of non-well-posed elliptic equations with nonlinear Neumann boundary conditions. First, the existence of optimal pairs is proved. Then by considering a well-posed penalization problem and taking limit in the optimality system for penalization problem, we obtain the necessary optimality conditions for optimal pairs of initial control problem.  相似文献

An optimal control problem with a prescribed performance index for parabolic systems with time delays is investigated. A necessary condition for optimality is formulated and proved in the form of a maximum principle. Under additional conditions, the maximum principle gives sufficient conditions for optimality. It is also shown that the optimal control is unique. As an illustration of the theoretical consideration, an analytic solution is obtained for a time-delayed diffusion system.The author wishes to express his deep gratitude to Professors J. M. The paper concerns a necessary optimality condition in form of a Pontryagin Minimum Principle for a system governed by a linear two point boundary value problem with homogeneous Dibichlet conditions, whereby the control vector occurs in all coefficients of the differential equation. Without any convexity assumption the optimality condition is derived using a needle-like variation of the optimal control. In case of convex local control constraints the optimality condition implies the linearized minimum principle, which we have proved in [2]. An example shows that for this linearized optimality condition the convexity of the set of all admissible controls is essential.  相似文献

The optimal control of moving sources governed by a parabolic equation and a system of ordinary differential equations with initial and boundary conditions is considered. For this problem, an existence and uniqueness theorem is proved, sufficient conditions for the Fréchet differentiability of the cost functional are established, an expression for its gradient is derived, and necessary optimality conditions in the form of pointwise and integral maximum principles are obtained.  相似文献

We consider optimal control problems with fixed final time and terminal-integral cost functional, and address the question of constructing a grid optimal synthesis (a universal feedback) on the basis of classical characteristics of the Bellman equation. To construct an optimal synthesis, we propose a numerical algorithm that relies on the necessary optimality conditions (the Pontryagin maximum principle) and sufficient conditions in the Hamiltonian form. We obtain estimates for the efficiency of the numerical method. The method is illustrated by an example of the numerical solution of a nonlinear optimal control problem.  相似文献

We consider the mathematical formulation and analysis of an optimal control problem associated with the tracking of the velocity and the magnetic field of a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid in a bounded two-dimensional domain through the adjustment of distributed controls. Existence of optimal solutions is proved and first-order necessary conditions for optimality are used to derive an optimality system of partial differential equations whose solutions provide optimal states and controls. Semidiscrete-in-time approximations are defined and their convergence to the exact optimal solutions is shown.  相似文献

This paper concerns the sufficient conditions of optimality for initial value problem with higher order differential inclusions (HODIs) and free endpoint constraints. Formulation of the transversality conditions plays a substantial role in the next investigations without which hardly any necessary or sufficient conditions would be obtained. In terms of Euler–Lagrange and Hamiltonian forms the sufficient conditions of optimality both for convex and “non-convex” HODIs are based on the apparatus of locally adjoint mappings. Moreover, by applying the main result to a Bolza problem described by a polynomial differential operator with constant coefficients in terms of the adjoint differential operator the sufficient condition of optimality is obtained.  相似文献

We present necessary conditions of optimality for an infinitehorizon optimal control problem. The transversality condition is derived with the help of stability theory and is formulated in terms of the Lyapunov exponents of solutions to the adjoint equation. A problem without an exponential factor in the integral functional is considered. We study an optimal control problem with quadratic objective functional for the three dimensional Navier-Stokes-Voigt equations in bounded domains. We show the existence of optimal solutions, the necessary optimality conditions and the sufficient optimality conditions. Motivated by our recent works on optimality conditions in discrete optimal control problems under a nonconvex cost function, in this paper, we study second-order necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for a discrete optimal control problem with a nonconvex cost function and state-control constraints. By establishing an abstract result on second-order optimality conditions for a mathematical programming problem, we derive second-order necessary and sufficient optimality conditions for a discrete optimal control problem. Using a common critical cone for both the second-order necessary and sufficient optimality conditions, we obtain “no-gap” between second-order optimality conditions.  相似文献

In this article we study a boundary control problem for an Oseen-type model of viscoelastic fluid flow. The existence of a unique optimal solution is proved and an optimality system is derived by the first-order necessary condition. The problem of optimal heat removal from a three-dimensional domain is considered. The specific of the study consist in accounting for the radiative heat transfer. The so-called P1 approximation of the radiative heat transfer equation is used, which reduces the model to a nonlinear elliptic system. A problem of optimal boundary control of this system is considered. The solvability of the control problem is proved, and necessary optimality conditions of first order are derived. 研究了一类事件驱动的变结构动态系统的非光滑最优性条件. 通过引入一个新的时间变量, 将变结构动态系统的最优性问题转化为古典动态系统的最优性问题. 基于广义微分和古典动态系统的最优性理论, 得到了该系统的Frechet上微分形式的必要性条件, 推广了已有文献的相关结论. 结果表明, 在系统的连续运行过程中, 控制变量、协态变量和状态变量满足最小值原理和协态方程. 在系统的运行模型发生改变时, 协态变量产生一定的跳跃, 哈密尔顿函数连续. 最后通过一个算例说明了该结论的有效性.  相似文献

We consider a bilevel programming problem in Banach spaces whose lower level solution is unique for any choice of the upper level variable. A condition is presented which ensures that the lower level solution mapping is directionally differentiable, and a formula is constructed which can be used to compute this directional derivative. Afterwards, we apply these results in order to obtain first-order necessary optimality conditions for the bilevel programming problem. It is shown that these optimality conditions imply that a certain mathematical program with complementarity constraints in Banach spaces has the optimal solution zero. We state the weak and strong stationarity conditions of this problem as well as corresponding constraint qualifications in order to derive applicable necessary optimality conditions for the original bilevel programming problem. Finally, we use the theory to state new necessary optimality conditions for certain classes of semidefinite bilevel programming problems and present an example in terms of bilevel optimal control.  相似文献

Parameter identification problem of a three species (predator, mutualist-prey, and mutualist) ecological system with reaction-diffusion phenomenon is investigated in this paper. The mathematical model of the parameter identification problem is constructed and continuous dependence of the solution for the direct problem on the parameters identified is obtained. The aim of various technical applications (for example fusion research) is to control a plasma by magnetic fields in a desired fashion. In our model the plasma is described by the Vlasov–Poisson system that is equipped with an external magnetic field. We will prove that this model satisfies some basic properties that are necessary for calculus of variations. After that, we will analyze an optimal control problem with a tracking type cost functional with respect to the following topics: necessary conditions of first order for local optimality, derivation of an optimality system, sufficient conditions of second order for local optimality, uniqueness of the optimal control under certain conditions.  相似文献
