矩阵乘积之Schur补的奇异值估计

0引言矩阵特征值和奇异值的估计,在数值代数、线性系统及控制论、力学等学科中有着十分重要的应用.中外学者获得了许多著名结果,但对Schur补的特征值及奇异值的估计则较困难.我国学者王伯英等得到了矩阵Hadamard之积的Schur补不等式及广义Schur余不等式,刘建州等给出了矩阵乘积的Schur补的奇异值估计.本文改进和推广了文献[2]、[4]和[5]中的一些不等式.     

正定矩阵Hadamard乘积的Schur补逆的偏序的等式条件

我们给出了正定矩阵 A与 B的 Hadamard乘积 A B的偏序 ( A B) - 1 ≤A- 1 B- 1 的等式成立的充要条件 ,从而得到了由王伯英和 Markham给出的正定矩阵 Hadamard乘积的 Schur补的逆的偏序的等式的条件     

Bapat-Kwong矩阵不等式的推广

本文研究了两个经典的Hermitian正定矩阵的Hadamard乘积的Bapat-Kwong矩阵不等式的推广,利用局部完全Hermitian矩阵的性质,根据可逆矩阵的主子矩阵与其Schur补的关系,得到了两个局部完全Hermitian矩阵的Hadamard乘积的矩阵不等式.所得到的结果不仅在放弃了正定性的前提下得到了经典的Bapat-Kwong矩阵不等式,而且还给出了这个矩阵不等式等式成立的充分必要条件.

本文运用矩阵 Hadamard乘积及控制不等式的性质 ,获得了若干 Hermite及斜 Hermite矩阵特征值的不等式     

Oppenheim不等式的一种类似

证明了实对称正定矩阵或实对称半正定矩阵与 M-矩阵的 Hadamard乘积满足实对称正定矩阵 Hadamard乘积的 Oppenheim不等式 .     

关于正定厄米特矩阵的Schur补的迹和特征值的不等式

本文研究了正定厄米特矩阵Schur补的迹和特征值的性质,通过一个不等式的证明,得到了正定厄米特矩阵和的Schur补与正定厄米特矩阵Schur补的和的迹和特征值之间的不等式.

给出了分块矩阵的块Schur补的定义，得到一些正定矩阵的Khatri-Rao乘积的块Schur补的逆的偏序,推广了正定矩阵的Hadamare乘积的相应结果。

特殊矩阵乘积在非线性数值计算中的应用

本文将Hadamard矩阵乘积引入到非线性数值计算,获得了简单的矩阵形式的非线性代数模拟方程,利用Hadamard矩阵乘积和Hadamard矩阵函数的方法,我们能够容易地构造快速收敛的简单迭代法解非线性代数方程组的迭代公式,使该法成为与Newton-Raphson法相比有竞争力的方法,我们也首次定义了一种新的特殊矩阵乘积—SJT矩阵乘积。运用SJT积,我们能够方便高效的计算Newton-Raphson法中Jacobi导数矩阵的精确解,利用Hadamard矩阵乘积的范数性质,我们也导出了非线性计算摄动误差的分析公式,此外,Hadamard积和SJT积能够被用于非线性数值解耦计算,这极大地减少了求解耦合的非线性偏微分方程组的计算工作量和内存需要量。     

层次分析正互反矩阵的Hadamard乘积分析法

定义了标准形 ～ 型 ,并指出任一正互反矩阵可唯一分解为任一种标准形和一个一致性矩阵的Hadamard乘积 .     

New lower bounds on eigenvalue of the Hadamard product of an M-matrix and its inverse

Some new lower bounds for the minimum eigenvalue of the Hadamard product of an M-matrix and its inverse are given. These bounds improve the results of [H.B. Li, T.Z. Huang, S.Q. Shen, H. Li, Lower bounds for the minimum eigenvalue of Hadamard product of an M-matrix and its inverse, Linear Algebra Appl. 420 (2007) 235-247].     

New lower bound of the determinant for Hadamard product on some totally nonnegative matrices

Applying the properties of Hadamard core for totally nonnegative matrices, we give new lower bounds of the determinant for Hadamard product about matrices in Hadamard core and totally nonnegative matrices, the results improve Oppenheim inequality for tridiagonal oscillating matrices obtained by T. L. Markham.     

Schur-multiplicative maps preserving unitarily invariant norms

Characterizations are obtained for maps on real or complex matrices which preserve both the Schur (Hadamard) product and a given unitarily invariant norm.     

矩阵Hadamard积和Fan积的特征值界的一些新估计式

本文研究了非奇异M-矩阵A与B的Fan积的最小特征值下界和非负矩阵A与B的Hadamard积 的谱半径上界的估计问题.利用Brauer定理,得到了一些只依赖于矩阵的元素且易于计算的新估计式,改进 了文献[4]现有的一些结果.     

Schur’s theorem for a block Hadamard product

We define a generalized Kronecker product for block matrices, mention some of its properties, and apply it to the study of a block Hadamard product of positive semidefinite matrices, which was defined by Horn, Mathias, and Nakamura. Under strong commutation assumptions we obtain generalizations of Schur’s theorem and of Oppenheim’s inequality.     

Some new inequalities involving the Hadamard product of an M-matrix and its inverse

Bounds on eigenvalues of the Hadamard product and the Fan product of matrices

We prove an upper bound for the spectral radius of the Hadamard product of nonnegative matrices and a lower bound for the minimum eigenvalue of the Fan product of M-matrices. These improve two existing results.     

Some new bounds on the spectral radius of matrices

A new lower bound on the smallest eigenvalue τ(AB) for the Fan product of two nonsingular M-matrices A and B is given. Meanwhile, we also obtain a new upper bound on the spectral radius ρ(A°B) for nonnegative matrices A and B. These bounds improve some results of Huang (2008) [R. Huang, Some inequalities for the Hadamard product and the Fan product of matrices, Linear Algebra Appl. 428 (2008) 1551-1559].
