Let $\{X_n,n\geq1\}$ be a sequence of negatively superadditive
dependent (NSD, in short) random variables and $\{a_{nk}, 1\leq
k\leq n, n\geq1\}$ be an array of real numbers. Under some suitable
conditions, we present some results on complete convergence for
weighted sums $\sum_{k=1}^na_{nk}X_k$ of NSD random variables by
using the Rosenthal type inequality. The results obtained in the
paper generalize some corresponding ones for independent random

We show for $k \geq 2$ that the locally Lipschitz viscosity solution to the $\sigma_k$-Loewner-Nirenberg problem on a given annulus $\{a < |x| < b\}$ is $C^{1,\frac{1}{k}}_{\rm loc}$ in each of $\{a < |x| \leq \sqrt{ab}\}$ and $\{\sqrt{ab} \leq |x| < b\}$ and has a jump in radial derivative across $|x| = \sqrt{ab}$. Furthermore, the solution is not $C^{1,\gamma}_{\rm loc}$ for any $\gamma > \frac{1}{k}$. Optimal regularity for solutions to the $\sigma_k$-Yamabe problem on annuli with finite constant boundary values is also established. 相似文献

Theoretical aspects related to the approximation of the semilinear parabolic equation: $u_t=\Delta u+f(u)$\nopagenumbers\end , with a finite unknown ‘blow‐up’ time Tb have been studied in a previous work. It is shown that $$\|(u^\varepsilon‐u)(\, .\, ,t)\|_\infty\leq C(M_T)\varepsilon$$\nopagenumbers\end , \def\lt{\char'74}$t\leq T \lt T_b$\nopagenumbers\end where $M_T=\|u(\, .\, ,T)\|_\infty$\nopagenumbers\end and $C(M_T)$\nopagenumbers\end is given by (6). In this paper, we suggest a numerical procedure for approaching the value of the blow‐up time Tb and the blow‐up solution u. For this purpose, we construct a sequence $\{M_\eta\}$\nopagenumbers\end , with $\lim_{\eta\rightarrow 0}M_\eta=\infty$\nopagenumbers\end . The estimate $|T_\eta‐T_{\rm b}|/T_{\rm b}=O(1/|\ln(\eta)|)$\nopagenumbers\end is proven to be valid in both cases. We conduct numerical simulations that confirm our theoretical results.
