算子权移位的紧性,正权和Cαβ分类

给出复可分Hilbert空间上任意重的算子权移位是紧算子的充要条件,重新证明了每个算子权移位酉等价于一个正算子权移位并讨论了算子权移位S～{Wk}与T～{|Wk|}的关系,给出了压缩的任意重算子权移位的Cαβ分类的充要条件.     

单边算子交换子的加权有界性

利用单边权的外推法,本文得到了由单边算子与Lipschitz函数生成的交换子的加权有界性质,而且给出了判定两类单边极大算子交换子有界性的充分必要条件.     

某些多元线性正算子的加权逼近

本文首先给出了在Ｌｐ逼近意义下某些线性正算子加Ｊａｃｏｂｉ权逼近时的特征定理，作为应用，我们给出了多元Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ型算子、多元Ｓｚａｓｚ－Ｍｉｒａｋｊａｎ型算子和多元Ｂｅｔａ算子加权逼近时的特征刻划．     

加权Bergman空间上的Toeplitz算子和Hankel算子

西方给出了Ｃ＾ｎ中单位球上的带权的Ｂｅｒｇｍａｎ空间上具一般符号的Ｔｏｅｐｌｉｔｚ算子和Ｈａｎｋｅｌ算子为紧的充要条件。     

Laurent级数空间上混沌的移位算子

设E_β~2(H_β~2)表示Laurent级数空间(分别地,幂级数空间).定义一个作用在E_β~2(H_β~2)上的算子:T_zf(z)=zf(z)(T_zf(z)=(f(z)-f(0))/z),称之为双边前移位算子(单边后移位算子).主要讨论的是Laurent级数(幂级数)空间上移位算子T_z作用的复杂行为,得到了算子T_z拓扑传递性的一个刻画,并给出T_z具有Devaney混沌性的一个充分条件.     

一类单胞加权移位算子

设H是复的可分Hilbert空间，｛am｝∞^m=0是由正实数组成的有界数列，对于H上的内射有界线性算子A，以及f(≠0）∈H，我们令ωm=αm||A^m 1f||/||A^mf|| m=0,1,2,…。设Tω是H以上｛am｝m^∞=0为权序列的单边加权移位算子。本文讨论了Tω的单胞性，其主要结果推广了B.S.Yadav和S.Chatterjee的工作[4]。     

Baskakov算子加权逼近的收敛阶

本文讨论了Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子加Ｊａｃｏｂｉ权逼近的收敛性，首先指出了按通常的加权范数，Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子是无界的。然后引入一种新的范数，在此范数下Ｂａｓｋａｋｏｖ算子具有压缩性，最后借助于Ｋ－泛函，我们着重讨论了它的特征刻划问题。     

加权移位算子是次正常算子的条件

以广义逆为工具运用算子演算给出加权移位算子是次正常算子的条件,所用方法不同于 Ｓｔａｍｐｆｌｉ的工作,但结果一致．作为应用给出了两个例子．     

ON HYPONORMAL WEIGHTED SHIFT

It is shown in this paper that the necessary condition that a hyponormal weightedunilateral shift of norm one be unitarily equivalent to a Toeplitz operator is that theassociated weights{a_n}_0~- must stisfy 1-丨a_n丨~2=(1-丨a_0丨~2)~(n 1) _n≥0.As a consequence weobtain that the answer to Abrahamse's Problem 3 is that the Bergman shift is not unitarilyequivalent to a Toeplitz operator.     

Toeplitz operators hyponormal with the unilateral shift

For the unilateral shift operator U on the Hardy space H²(T), we describe conditions on operators T, acting on H²(T), that are necessary and sufficient for the pair (U, T) to be jointly hyponormal. One necessary condition is that T be a Toeplitz operator. Consequently, we study certain nonanalytic symbols that give rise to Toeplitz operators hyponormal with the shift, and thereby obtain examples of noncommuting, jointly hyponormal pairs.Supported in part by a research grant from NSERC

Compressions of Stable Contractions

The stability of compressions of stable contractions is studied and a sufficient orbit condition is given. On the other hand, it is shown that there are non-stable compressions of the 1-dimensional backward shift and a complete characterization of weighted unilateral shifts with this property is provided. Dilations of bilateral weighted shifts to backward shifts are also considered.     

The C*-Envelope of an Irreducible Periodic Weighted Unilateral Shift

The C*-envelope of the 3-dimensional operator system generated by an irreducible periodic weighted unilateral shift operator is determined.     

Generalized Appell bases

In the context of Köthe spaces we study the bases related with the backward unilateral weighted shift operator, the so-called generalized derivation operator, extending known results for spaces of analytic functions. These bases are a subclass of Sheffer sequences called generalized Appell sequences and they are closely connected with the isomorphisms invariant by the weighted shift. We use methods of the non classical umbral calculi to give conditions for a generalized Appell sequence to be a basis.     

Reducing subspaces of compressed analytic Toeplitz operators on the Hardy space

In this paper we discuss necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for the compression of an analytic Toeplitz operator onto a shift coinvariant subspace to have nontrivial reducing subspaces. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for the kernel of a Toeplitz operator whose symbol is the quotient of two inner functions to be nontrivial and obtain examples of reducing subspaces from these kernels. Motivated by this result we give necessary conditions and sufficient conditions for the kernel of a Toeplitz operator whose symbol is the quotient of two inner functions to be nontrivial in terms of the supports of the two inner functions. By studying the commutant of a compression, we are able to give a necessary condition for the existence of reducing subspaces on certain shift coinvariant subspaces.     

Time operator for diffusion

We extend the concept of time operator for general semigroups and construct a non-self-adjoint time operator for the diffusion equation which is intertwined with the unilateral shift. We obtain the spectral resolution, the age eigenstates and a new shift representation of the solution of the diffusion equation. Based on previous work we obtain similarly a self-adjoint time operator for Relativistic Diffusion.     

Spectral properties of difference and differential operators in weighted spaces

We describe the spectrum of a difference operator (a weighted shift operator). We obtain applications to finding spectra of differential operators in weighted function spaces.
