Stability for the Minkowski measure of convex domains of constant width

In 1988, H. Groemer gave a stability theorem for the area of convex domains of constant width. In this paper, we obtain a stability theorem for the well-known Minkowski measure of asymmetry for convex domains of constant width.     

Continuity of the integral as a function of the domain

This paper proves an isomorphism theorem for cochains and differential forms, before passing to cohomology. De Rham’s theorem is a consequence. This leads to an extension of much of calculus and homology theory to nonsmooth domains, called chainlets,and makes available combinatorial techniques for smooth domains that limit to the classic analytic methods. We find maximal subspaces of L ¹ forms that satisfy Stokes’s theorem for domains of chainlets giving a measurable, as well as optimal, extension of the theory.     

On the Hadamard formula for nonsmooth domains

We consider the first eigenvalue of the Dirichlet-Laplacian in three cases: C1,1-domains, Lipschitz domains, and bounded domains without any smoothness assumptions. Asymptotic formula for this eigenvalue is derived when domain subject arbitrary perturbations. For Lipschitz and arbitrary nonsmooth domains, the leading term in the asymptotic representation distinguishes from that in the Hardamard formula valid for smooth perturbations of smooth domains. For asymptotic analysis we propose and prove an abstract theorem demonstrating how eigenvalues vary under perturbations of both operator in Hilbert space and Hilbert space itself. This abstract theorem is of independent interest and has substantially broader field of applications.

The Orlicz space analog of the Sobolev imbedding theorem established for bounded domains by Donaldson and Trudinger is here extended to unbounded domains.

On the Hartogs-Phenomenon and Extension of Analytic Hypersurfaces in Non-separated Riemann Domains

In the present paper, we answer two questions raised by Jarnicki and Pflug: First, we show by a counterexample that the Hartogs-Bochner theorem is no longer true for non-separated Riemann domains. Secondly, we generalize a structure theorem of Dloussky, which examines the extension of singularity sets contained in analytic hypersurfaces, to non-separated Riemann domains. Moreover, our method yields a new proof of Dloussky's original result.     

Wolff–Denjoy theorems in nonsmooth convex domains

We give a short proof of Wolff–Denjoy theorem for (not necessarily smooth) strictly convex domains. With similar techniques we are also able to prove a Wolff–Denjoy theorem for weakly convex domains, again without any smoothness assumption on the boundary.     

Cones of Functions with Monotonicity Conditions for Generalized Bessel and Riesz Potentials

An embedding theorem for spaces of functions of positive smoothness defined on irregular domains of n-dimensional Euclidean space in Lebesgue spaces is proved. The statement of the theorem depends on the geometric parameters of the domains of the functions.

Strictly pseudoconvex domains and algebraic varieties

In the paper, we consider applications of strictly pseudoconvex domains to the problems of algebraicity and rationality. We give a new proof of the Kodaira theorem on the algebraicity of a surface and we also prove a multidimensional version of this theorem. Theorems analogous to the Hodge index theorem and the Lefschetz theorem about (1, 1)-classes are obtained for strictly pseudoconvex domains. On the generalizations of Denjoy-Wolff theorem

We consider generalizations of Denjoy-Wolff theorem on strongly pseudo-convex domains. Beardon [3] gave a general Denjoy-Wolff theorem in hyperboli domain in the complex plane. Our main results are generalizations of Beardon's result in a higher dimensional setting.     

Closing the gap between the continuous functionals and recursion in ^3E

We show that the length of a hierarchy of domains with totality, based on the standard domain for the natural numbers and closed under dependent products of continuously parameterised families of domains will be the first ordinal not recursive in and any real. As a part of the proof we show that the domains of the hierarchy share important properties with the types of continuous functionals.
