S. Hu and Y. Sun[1] defined the fixed point index for weakly inward mappings, investigated its properties and studied fixed points for such mappings. In this paper, following S. Hu and Y. Sun, we further investigate boundary conditions, under which the fixed point index for i(A, Ω, p) is equal to nonzero, where i(A, Ω, p) is the completely continuous and weakly inward mapping. Correspondingly, we can obtain many new fixed point theorems of the completely continuous and weakly inward mapping, which generalize some famous theorems such as Rothe's theorem, Altman's theorem, Petryshyn's theorem etc. in the case of weakly inward mappings. In addition, our conclusions extend the famous fixed point theorem of cone expansion and compression to the case of weakly inward mappings. Moreover, the main results contain and generalize the corresponding results in the recent work[2].  相似文献

E E. Browder and W. V. Petryshyn defined the topological degree for A- proper mappings and then W. V. Petryshyn studied a class of A-proper mappings, namely, P1-compact mappings and obtained a number of important fixed point theorems by virtue of the topological degree theory. In this paper, following W. V. Petryshyn, we continue to study P1-compact mappings and investigate the boundary condition, under which many new fixed point theorems of P1-compact mappings are obtained. On the other hand, this class of A-proper mappings with the boundedness property includes completely continuous operators and so, certain interesting new fixed point theorems for completely continuous operators are obtained immediately. As a result of it, our results generalize several famous theorems such as Leray-Schauder's theorem, Rothe's theorem, Altman's theorem, Petryshyn's theorem, etc.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss a fixed point theorem for mappings derived by a pair of mappings satisfying weak(k, k/) contractive type condition on the tensor product spaces. Let X and Y be Banach spaces and T_1 : X γ Y → X and T_2: X γ Y → Y be two operators which satisfy weak(k, k/) contractive type condition. Using T_1 and T_2, we construct an operator T on X γ Y and show that T has a unique fixed point in a closed and bounded subset of X γ Y.We derive an iteration scheme converging to this unique fixed point of T. Conversely, using a weakly contractive mapping T, we construct a pair of mappings(T_1, T_2) satisfying weak(k, k/)contractive type condition on X γ Y and from this pair, we also obtain two self mappings S_1 and S_2 on X and Y respectively with unique fixed points.  相似文献

In [Aghajani A, Abbas M, Roshan JR. Common fixed point of generalized weak contractive mappings in partially ordered Gb-metric spaces. Filomat, 2013, in press], using the concepts of G-metric and b-metric Aghajani et al. defined a new type of metric which is called generalized b-metric or Gb-metric. In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem for three mappings in Gb-metric space which is not continuous. An example is presented to verify the effectiveness and applicability of our main result.  相似文献

In this work, using an analogue of Sadovskii's fixed point result and several important inequalities we investigate and give new existence theorems for the nonlinear operator equation F(x) =μx, (μ≥1) for some weakly sequentially continuous, weakly condensing and weakly 1-set weakly contractive operators with different boundary conditions. Correspondingly, we can obtain some applicable fixed point theorems of Leray-Schauder, Altman and Furi-Pera types in the weak topology setting which generalize and improve the corresponding results of [3,15,16].  相似文献

Iterated function systems (IFS) were introduced by Hutchinson in 1981 as a natural generalization of the well-known Banach contraction principle.In 2010,D.R.Sahu and A.Chakraborty introduced K-Iterated Function System using Kannan mapping which would cover a larger range of mappings.In this paper,following Hutchinson,D.R.Sahu and A.Chakraborty,we present some new iterated function systems by using the so-called generalized contractive mappings,which will also cover a large range of mappings.Our purpose is to prove the existence and uniqueness of attractors for such class of iterated function systems by virtue of a Banach-like fixed point theorem concerning generalized contractive mappings.  相似文献

In this paper we consider extreme points and support points for compact subclasses of normalized biholomorphic mappings of the Euclidean unit ball Bn in Cn. We consider the class S0(Bn) of biholomorphic mappings on Bn which have parametric representation, i.e., they are the initial elements f (·, 0) of a Loewner chain f (z, t) = etz + ··· such that {e-tf (·, t)}t 0 is a normal family on Bn. We show that if f (·, 0) is an extreme point (respectively a support point) of S0(Bn), then e-tf (·, t) is an extreme point of S0(Bn) for t 0 (respectively a support point of S0(Bn) for t ∈[0, t0] and some t0 > 0). This is a generalization to the n-dimensional case of work due to Pell. Also, we prove analogous results for mappings which belong to S0(Bn) and which are bounded in the norm by a fixed constant. We relate the study of this class to reachable sets in control theory generalizing work of Roth. Finally we consider extreme points and support points for biholomorphic mappings of Bn generated by using extension operators that preserve Loewner chains.  相似文献

Appl. 172 (1993) 266-273] defined the fixed point index for weakly inward mappings, investigated its properties and studied the fixed points for such mappings. In this paper, following S. Hu and Y. Sun, we continue to investigate boundary conditions, under which the fixed point index for the completely continuous and weakly inward mapping, denoted by i(A,Ω,P), is equal to 1 or 0. Correspondingly, we can obtain some new fixed point theorems of the completely continuous and weakly inward mappings and existence theorems of solutions for the equations Ax=μx, which extend many famous theorems such as Leray-Schauder's theorem, Rothe's two theorems, Krasnoselskii's theorem, Altman's theorem, Petryshyn's theorem, etc., to the case of weakly inward mappings. In addition, our conclusions and methods are different from the ones in many recent works.  相似文献

In this paper, based on a basic result on condensing mappings satisfying the interior condition, some new fixed point theorems of the condensing mappings of this kind are obtained. In this paper, by using Mann's iteration process we will establish several weak convergence theorems for approximating a fixed point of k-strictly pseudocontractive mappings with respect to p in p-uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results answer partially the open question proposed by Marino and Xu, and extend Reich's theorem from nonexpansive mappings to k-strict pseudocontractive mappings.  相似文献

Abstract

We proved a random coincidence point theorem for a pair of commuting random operators in the setup of Fréchet spaces. As applications, we obtained random fixed point and best approximation results for *-nonexpansive multivalued maps. Our results are generalizations or stochastic versions of the corresponding results of Shahzad and Latif [Shahzad, N.; Latif, A. A random coincidence point theorem. J. Math. Anal. Jungck's [G. Jungck, Compatible mappings and common fixed points, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 9 (1986) 771-779] notion of compatible mappings is further extended and used to prove some common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible non-self mappings in complete convex metric spaces. We improve on the method of proof used by Rhoades [B.E. Rhoades, A fixed point theorem for non-self set-valued mappings, Int. J. Math. Math. Sci. 20 (1997) 9-12] and Ahmed and Rhoades [A. Ahmed, B.E. Rhoades, Some common fixed point theorems for compatible mappings, Indian J. Pure Appl. Math. 32 (2001) 1247-1254] and obtain generalization of some known results. In this paper, the famous Banach contraction principle and Caristi's fixed point theorem are generalized to the case of multi-valued mappings.
