Eichler and Zagier developed a theory of Jacobi forms to understand and extend Maass' work on the Saito‐Kurokawa conjecture. Later Skoruppa introduced skew‐holomorphic Jacobi forms, which play an important role in understanding liftings of modular forms and Jacobi forms. In this paper, we explain a relation between Jacobi forms and skew‐holomorphic Jacobi forms in terms of a group cohomology. More precisely, we introduce an isomorphism from the direct sum of the space of Jacobi cusp forms on and the space of skew‐holomorphic Jacobi cusp forms on with the same half‐integral weight to the Eichler cohomology group of with a coefficient module coming from polynomials.  相似文献

The homology groups , , and of the Brauer complex for a triquadratic field extension are studied. In particular, given , we find equivalent conditions for the image of D in to be zero. We consider as well the second divided power operation , and show that there are nonstandard elements with respect to γ2. Further, a natural transformation , which turns out to be nondegenerate on the left, is defined. As an application we construct a field extension such that the cohomology group of the Brauer complex contains the images of prescribed elements of , provided these elements satisfy a certain cohomological condition. At the final part of the paper examples of triquadratic extensions with nontrivial are given. As a consequence we show that the homology group can be arbitrarily big.  相似文献

In this paper we study the existence of solutions for fractional Schrödinger equations of the form where V is a potential bounded and the nonlinear term has the critical exponential growth. The estimate of integral points in right‐angled simplices has many applications in number theory, complex geometry, toric variety and tropical geometry. In [24], [25], [27], the second author and other coworkers gave a sharp upper estimate that counts the number of positive integral points in n dimensional () real right‐angled simplices with vertices whose distance to the origin are at least . A natural problem is how to form a new sharp estimate without the minimal distance assumption. In this paper, we formulate the Number Theoretic Conjecture which is a direct correspondence of the Yau Geometry conjecture. We have proved this conjecture for . This paper gives hope to prove the new conjecture in general. As an application, we give a sharp estimate of the Dickman‐de Bruijn function for .  相似文献

We prove a bifurcation and multiplicity result for a critical fractional p‐Laplacian problem that is the analog of the Brézis‐Nirenberg problem for the nonlocal quasilinear case. This extends a result in the literature for the semilinear case to all , in particular, it gives a new existence result. When , the nonlinear operator , has no linear eigenspaces, so our extension is nontrivial and requires a new abstract critical point theorem that is not based on linear subspaces. We prove a new abstract result based on a pseudo‐index related to the ‐cohomological index that is applicable here.  相似文献

We study toric varieties over a field k that split in a Galois extension using Galois cohomology with coefficients in the toric automorphism group. Part of this Galois cohomology fits into an exact sequence induced by the presentation of the class group of the toric variety. This perspective helps to compute the Galois cohomology, particularly for cyclic Galois groups. We use Galois cohomology to classify k‐forms of projective spaces when is cyclic, and we also study k‐forms of surfaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we provide various connections between a bounded linear operator T and some of its transforms, namely the Aluthge transform , Duggal transform , and mean transform . In particular, we show that under the condition that where is the polar decomposition, if one of T, , and is subscalar of finite order, then is also subscalar of finite order. As an application, we find subscalar operator matrices. We also give several spectral relations.
