Let f(z) be a normalized convex (starlike) function on the unit disc D. Let , where z=(z1,z2,…,zn), z1D, , pi?1, i=2,…,n, are real numbers. In this note, we prove that Φ(f)(z)=(f(z1),f′(z1)1/p2z2,…,f′(z1)1/pnzn) is a normalized convex (starlike) mapping on Ω, where we choose the power function such that (f′(z1))1/pi|z1=0=1, i=2,…,n. The oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of solutions of a class of nth order nonlinear differential equations, with deviating arguments, of the form (E, δ) Lnx(t) + δq(t) f(x[g1(t)],…, x[gm(t)]) = 0, where δ = ± 1 and L0x(t) = x(t), Lkx(t) = ak(t)(Lk ? 1x(t))., k = 1, 2,…, n (. = ddt), is examined. A classification of solutions of (E, δ) with respect to their behavior as t → ∞ and their oscillatory character is obtained. The comparisons of (E, 1) and (E, ?1) with first and second order equations of the form y.(t) + c1(t) f(y[g1(t)],…, y[gm(t)]) = 0 and (an ? 1(t)z.(t)). ? c2(t) f(z[g1(t)],…, z[gm(t)]) = 0, respectively, are presented. The obtained results unify, extend and improve some of the results by Graef, Grammatikopoulos and Spikes, Philos and Staikos.  相似文献

Let B be the unit ball of with respect to an arbitrary norm. We study certain properties of Loewner chains and their transition mappings on the unit ball B. We show that any Loewner chain f(z,t) and the transition mapping v(z,s,t) associated to f(z,t) satisfy locally Lipschitz conditions in t locally uniformly with respect to zB. Moreover, we prove that a mapping fH(B) has parametric representation if and only if there exists a Loewner chain f(z,t) such that the family {etf(z,t)}t?0 is a normal family on B and f(z)=f(z,0) for zB. Also we show that univalent solutions f(z,t) of the generalized Loewner differential equation in higher dimensions are unique when {etf(z,t)}t?0 is a normal family on B. Finally we show that the set S0(B) of mappings which have parametric representation on B is compact.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of multiobjective control problems is considered, where the objective and constraint functions involved are f(tx(t), ?(t), y(t), z(t)) with x(t) ∈ Rn, y(t) ∈ Rn, and z(t) ∈ Rm, where x(t) and z(t) are the control variables and y(t) is the state variable. Under the assumption of invexity and its generalization, duality theorems are proved through a parametric approach to related properly efficient solutions of the primal and dual problems.  相似文献

This paper deals with ut = Δu + um(xt)epv(0,t), vt = Δv + uq(0, t)env(x,t), subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. The complete classification on non-simultaneous and simultaneous blow-up is obtained by four sufficient and necessary conditions. It is interesting that, in some exponent region, large initial data u0(v0) leads to the blow-up of u(v), and in some betweenness, simultaneous blow-up occurs. For all of the nonnegative exponents, we find that u(v) blows up only at a single point if m > 1(n > 0), while u(v) blows up everywhere for 0 ? m ? 1 (n = 0). Moreover, blow-up rates are considered for both non-simultaneous and simultaneous blow-up solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, we find all the forms of meromorphic functions f(z) that share the value 0 CM, and share b(z)IM with g(z)=a1(z)f(z)+a2(z)f(z). And a1(z), a2(z) and b(z) (a2(z),b(z)?0) be small functions with respect to f(z). As an application, we show that some of nonlinear differential equations have no transcendental meromorphic solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a new high accuracy numerical method of O(k2 + k2h2 + h4) based on off-step discretization for the solution of 3-space dimensional non-linear wave equation of the form utt = A(x,y,z,t)uxx + B(x,y,z,t)uyy + C(x,y,z,t)uzz + g(x,y,z,t,u,ux,uy,uz,ut), 0 < x,y,z < 1,t > 0 subject to given appropriate initial and Dirichlet boundary conditions, where k > 0 and h > 0 are mesh sizes in time and space directions respectively. We use only seven evaluations of the function g as compared to nine evaluations of the same function discussed in  and . We describe the derivation procedure in details of the algorithm. The proposed numerical algorithm is directly applicable to wave equation in polar coordinates and we do not require any fictitious points to discretize the differential equation. The proposed method when applied to a telegraphic equation is also shown to be unconditionally stable. Comparative numerical results are provided to justify the usefulness of the proposed method.  相似文献

We determine the form of polynomially bounded solutions to the Loewner differential equation that is satisfied by univalent subordination chains of the form f(z,t)=etAz+?, where AL(Cn,Cn) has the property m(A)>0. Here m(A)=min{RA(z),z〉:‖z‖=1}. We also give sufficient conditions for g(z,t)=L(f(z,t)) to be polynomially bounded, where f(z,t) is an A-normalized polynomially bounded Loewner chain solution to the Loewner differential equation.  相似文献

In this paper we consider extreme points and support points for compact subclasses of normalized biholomorphic mappings of the Euclidean unit ball Bn in Cn. We consider the class S0(Bn) of biholomorphic mappings on Bn which have parametric representation, i.e., they are the initial elements f (·, 0) of a Loewner chain f (z, t) = etz + ··· such that {e-tf (·, t)}t 0 is a normal family on Bn. We show that if f (·, 0) is an extreme point (respectively a support point) of S0(Bn), then e-tf (·, t) is an extreme point of S0(Bn) for t 0 (respectively a support point of S0(Bn) for t ∈[0, t0] and some t0 > 0). This is a generalization to the n-dimensional case of work due to Pell. Also, we prove analogous results for mappings which belong to S0(Bn) and which are bounded in the norm by a fixed constant. We relate the study of this class to reachable sets in control theory generalizing work of Roth. Finally we consider extreme points and support points for biholomorphic mappings of Bn generated by using extension operators that preserve Loewner chains.  相似文献

Generalizing previous work [2], we study complex polynomials {π k },π k (z)=z k +?, orthogonal with respect to a complex-valued inner product (f,g)=∫ 0 π f(e iθ)g(e iθ)w(e iθ)dθ. Under suitable assumptions on the “weight function”w, we show that these polynomials exist whenever Re ∫ 0 π w(e iθ)dθ≠0, and we express them in terms of the real polynomials orthogonal with respect to the weight functionw(x). We also obtain the basic three-term recurrence relation. A detailed study is made of the polynomials {π k } in the case of the Jacobi weight functionw(z)=(1?z)α(1+z)β, α>?1, and its special case \(\alpha = \beta = \lambda - \tfrac{1}{2}\) (Gegenbauer weight). We show, in particular, that for Gegenbauer weights the zeros ofπ n are all simple and, ifn≥2, contained in the interior of the upper unit half disc. We strongly suspect that the same holds true for arbitrary Jacobi weights. Finally, for the Gegenbauer weight, we obtain a linear second-order differential equation forπ n (z). It has regular singular points atz=1, ?1, ∞ (like Gegenbauer's equation) and an additional regular singular point on the negative imaginary axis, which depends onn.  相似文献

In the paper we consider the class Γ of analytic and univalent functions f in the unit disk Δ, normalized by f(0) = f′(0) − 1 = 0, having real coefficients and such that f(Δ) is convex in the direction of the real axis. We are especially interested in some subclasses of Γ. The most important of them is Γ(c) consisting of those functions which have the second coefficients of the Taylor expansion fixed and equal to c. We obtain the Koebe set for this class as well as for the classes Γ+(c) and Γ(c) of functions which are in some sense convex in the direction of positive and negative axes respectively.  相似文献
