This paper is focused on global exponential stability of certain switched systems with time-varying delays. By using an average dwell time (ADT) approach that is different from the method in [P.H.A. Ngoc, On exponential stability of nonlinear differential systems with time-varying delay, Applied Mathematics Letters 25 (2012) 1208–1213], we establish a new global exponential stability criterion for the switched linear time-delay system under the ADT switching. We also apply this method to a general switched nonlinear time-delay system. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of our results.  相似文献

This paper concerns the problem of global exponential synchronization for a class of switched neural networks with time-varying delays and unbounded distributed delays via impulsive control method. By using Lyapunov stability theory, new synchronization criterion is derived. In our synchronization criterion, the switching law can be arbitrary and the concept of average impulsive interval is utilized such that the obtained synchronization criterion is less conservative than those based on maximum of impulsive intervals. Numerical simulations are given to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, two kinds of synchronization problems of complex dynamical networks with multiple time-varying delays are investigated, that is, the cases with fixed topology and with switching topology. For the former, different from the commonly used linear matrix inequality (LMI) method, we adopt the approach basing on the scramblingness property of the network’s weighted adjacency matrix. The obtained result implies that the network will achieve exponential synchronization for appropriate communication delays if the network’s weighted adjacency matrix is of scrambling property and the coupling strength is large enough. Note that, our synchronization condition is very new, which would be easy to check in comparison with those previously reported LMIs. Moreover, we extend the result to the case when the interaction topology is switching. The maximal allowable upper bounds of communication delays are obtained in each case. Numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

The global uniform exponential stability of switched positive linear impulsive systems with time-varying delays and all unstable subsystems is studied in this paper, which includes two types of distributed time-varying delays and discrete time-varying delays. Switching behaviors dominating the switched systems can be either stabilizing and destabilizing in the new designed switching sequence. We design new linear programming algorithm process to find the feasible ratio of stabilizing switching behaviors, which can be compensated by unstable subsystems, destabilizing switching behaviors, and impulses. Speci cally, we add a kind of nonnegative impulses which is consistent with the switching behaviors for the systems. Employing a multiple co-positive Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, we present several new sufficient stability criteria and design new switching sequence. Then, we apply the obtained stability criteria to the exponential consensus of linear delayed multi-agent systems, and obtain the new exponential consensus criteria. Three simulations are provided to demonstrate the proposed stability criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the qualitative properties of linear and nonlinear delay switched systems which have stable and unstable subsystems. First, we prove some inequalities which lead to the switching laws that guarantee: (a) the global exponential stability to linear switched delay systems with stable and unstable subsystems; (b) the local exponential stability of nonlinear switched delay systems with stable and unstable subsystems. In addition, these switching laws indicate that if the total activation time ratio among the stable subsystems, unstable subsystems and time delay is larger than a certain number, the switched systems are exponentially stable for any switching signals under these laws. Some examples are given to illustrate the main results.  相似文献

In this paper, simple controllers are designed to realize the synchronization of complex networks with time delays, in which the coupling configuration matrix and inner coupling matrix are not restricted to be symmetric matrix. Several adaptive synchronization criteria are obtained based on Lyapunov stability theory. These criteria relay on the coupling strength and the number of nodes pinning to the networks. For a given complex dynamical network with both delayed and non-delayed couplings, we give the minimum number of controllers under which synchronization can be achieved. One example shows the effectiveness of the proposed pinning adaptive controller.  相似文献

The switching signal (switching law) design for robust global exponential stability of switched nonlinear systems is investigated in this paper. LMI-based delay-dependent criteria are proposed to design the switching signal and guarantee the global exponential stability. Free weighting matrix and additional nonnegative inequality approaches are used in this paper to find the less conservative stability results. Finally, some numerical examples are illustrated to show the main improvement.  相似文献

Local and global synchronization of complex dynamical networks are studied in this paper. Some simple yet generic criteria ensuring delay-independent and delay-dependent synchronization are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be verified easily via interior-point algorithm. The assumption that the coupling configuration matrix is symmetric and irreducible, which is frequently used in other literatures, is removed. A network with a fixed delay and a special coupling scheme is given as an example to illustrate the theoretical results and the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.  相似文献

Based on the stability analysis of the impulsive functional differential equation, the exponential synchronization of the complex dynamical network with a coupling delay and impulses is investigated in the paper. The criteria for the exponential synchronization are derived by the geometrical decomposition of network states and linear matrix inequality method. Two examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed criteria.  相似文献

In this paper, a general class of impulsive delayed switched systems is considered. By employing the Lyapunov–Razumikhin method and some analysis techniques, we established several global asymptotic stability and global exponential stability criteria for the considered impulsive delayed switched systems, which improve and extend some recent works. As an application, the result of global exponential stability are used to study a class of uncertain linear switched systems with time‐varying delays. Several LMI‐based conditions are proposed to guarantee the global robust stability and global exponential stabilization. The designed memoryless state feedback controller can be easily checked by the LMI toolbox in Matlab. Moreover, the dwell time constraint is imposed for the switching law. Finally, two numerical examples and their simulations are given to show the effectiveness of our proposed results. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper proposes two schemes of synchronization of two four-scorll chaotic attractor, a simple global synchronization and adaptive synchronization in the presence of unknown system parameters. Based on Lyapunov stability theory and matrix measure, a simple generic criterion is derived for global synchronization of four-scorll chaotic attractor system with a unidirectional linear error feedback coupling. This methods are applicable to a large class of chaotic systems where only a few algebraic inequalities are involved. Numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed chaos synchronization method.  相似文献

This paper presents a general model of singular complex switched networks, in which the nodes can be singular dynamic systems and switching behaviors act on both nodes and edges. The parametric uncertainties and unknown coupling topologies are also considered in this model. Two robust synchronization schemes are discussed respectively. In one scheme, the network is synchronized to a homogeneous orbit and in the other one the network is synchronized to a weighted average of all the nodes. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, different robust synchronization conditions for the two schemes are obtained for this singular complex switched network model via impulsive control. The similarities and differences between these synchronization conditions for the two schemes are discussed. In addition, three useful robust results for the special cases of the singular complex switched networks are presented. Two systematic-design procedures are presented for the two schemes, and three numerical examples are provided for illustrations.  相似文献

This paper presents a general impulsively-coupled complex switched network (ICCSN) model with parametric uncertainties and multiple Time-varying Delays in both the linear and nonlinear terms. The model is more general than those in the literature in that it contains switching behaviors on nodes and impulsive effects in the whole topology. Robust synchronization of ICCSNs with parametric uncertainties and time-varying delays is investigated. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, delay-independent synchronization conditions for ICCSNs with uncertainties and delays are obtained. In addition, we consider five special synchronization cases: ICCSNs with delays in both the linear and nonlinear terms, ICCSNs with parametric uncertainties and delays either in the linear or in the nonlinear term, ICCSNs without switching behaviors but with parametric uncertainties and delays, and impulsively-switched-coupled complex switched network with uncertainties and delays. A systematic-design procedure is presented, and a numerical example is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization strategy. A comparative study of the maximum impulsive intervals for synchronization is presented for all special cases.  相似文献

Nonlinear coupling has been used to synchronize some chaotic systems. The difference evolutional equation between coupled systems, determined via the linear approximation, can be used to analyze the stability of the synchronization between drive and response systems. According to the stability criteria the coupled chaotic systems are asymptotically synchronized, if all eigenvalues of the matrix found in this linear approximation have negative real parts. There is no synchronization, if at least one of these eigenvalues has positive real part. Nevertheless, in this paper we have considered some cases on which there is at least one zero eigenvalue for the matrix in the linear approximation. Such cases demonstrate synchronization-like behavior between coupled chaotic systems if all other eigenvalues have negative real parts.  相似文献

For a class of discrete-time high-order switched neural networks with time-varying delays, the global exponential synchronization (GES) problem and its application in audio encryption are addressed. In this work, the state feedback controllers are designed to ensure the GES of response and drive systems, and the controller gains are directly computed by the network parameters. Then, a numerical example is presented to explain the correctness of the synchronization theory. Moreover, a technique to audio encryption/decryption is proposed, and it is applied to a practical example to verify the applicability of the technique. The advantages of this paper are as follows: (i) GES criterion containing a group of simple matrix inequalities is established without the construction of a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), which is not always obvious; (ii) the controller gains are directly represented by the parameters in the network, and then it is easy to apply them to the audio encryption.  相似文献

In this work, we present a new mathematical model of a boundary coupled neuron network described by the partly diffusive Hindmarsh–Rose equations. We prove the global absorbing property of the solution semiflow and then the main result on the asymptotic synchronization of this neuron network at a uniform exponential rate provided that the boundary coupling strength and the stimulating signal exceed a quantified threshold in terms of the parameters.  相似文献

The study investigates robust synchronization of fractional-order complex dynamical networks with parametric uncertainties. Based on the properties of the kronecker product and the stability of the fractional-order system, the robust synchronization criteria are derived by applying the nonlinear control. These criteria are in the form of linear matrix inequalities which can be readily solved by applying the LMI toolbox. The coupling configuration matrix is not necessary to be symmetric or irreducible, and the inner coupling matrix needs not to be symmetric, diagonal or positive definite. Two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the validity of the presented synchronization scheme.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors investigate the synchronization of an array of linearly coupled identical dynamical systems with a delayed coupling. Here the coupling matrix can be asymmetric and reducible. Some criteria ensuring delay-independent and delay- dependent global synchronization are derived respectively. It is shown that if the coupling delay is less than a positive threshold, then the coupled network will be synchronized. On the other hand, with the increase of coupling delay, the synchronization stability of the network will be restrained, even eventually de-synchronized.  相似文献

The problem of stabilization for wireless networked control system (NCS) with packet dropout and time delay is studied in this article. The impulsive control law for the NCS is defined with time delay and impulse. Using a switching model, the network‐induced imperfections can be treated as three switching subsystems. Therein, in the case of packet dropout, the control law use the previous state via the first‐order hold. The impulsive control law is designed using the switched system approach and the average dwell time method. The obtained sufficient conditions which can guarantee the exponential stability of switched system are in the form of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is used to demonstrate the merits and applicabilities of the proposed method. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Complexity 21: 291–299, 2016  相似文献
