In this article we study nondegenerate projective curves of degree d which are not arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay. Note that for a rational normal curve and a point . Our main result is about the relation between the geometric properties of X and the position of P with respect to . We show that the graded Betti numbers of X are uniquely determined by the rank of P with respect to . In particular, X satisfies property N 2,p if and only if . Therefore property N 2,p of X is controlled by and conversely can be read off from the minimal free resolution of X. This result provides a non-linearly normal example for which the converse to Theorem 1.1 in (Eisenbud et al., Compositio Math 141:1460–1478, 2005) holds. Also our result implies that for nondegenerate projective curves of degree d which are not arithmetically Cohen–Macaulay, there are exactly distinct Betti tables.  相似文献

We establish a deformation isomorphism between the algebras of -biinvariant compactly supported measures on and -conjugation invariant measures on the Euclidean space of all Hermitian -matrices with trace . This isomorphism concisely explains a close connection between the spectral problem for sums of Hermititan matrices on one hand and the singular spectral problem for products of matrices from on the other, which has recently been observed by Klyachko [13]. From this deformation we further obtain an explicit, probability preserving and isometric isomorphism between the Banach algebra of bounded -biinvariant measures on and a certain (non-invariant) subalgebra of the bounded signed measures on . We demonstrate how this probability preserving isomorphism leads to limit theorems for the singular spectrum of -biinvariant random walks on in a simple way. The construction of the cotensor coalgebra for an “abelian monoidal” category which is also cocomplete, complete and AB5, was performed in Ardizzoni et al. (Comm Algebra 35(1):25–70, 2007). It was also proved that this coalgebra satisfies a meaningful universal property which resembles the classical one. Here the lack of the coradical filtration for a coalgebra E in is filled by considering a direct limit of a filtration consisting of wedge products of a subcoalgebra D of E. The main aim of this paper is to characterize hereditary coalgebras , where D is a coseparable coalgebra in , by means of a cotensor coalgebra: more precisely, we prove that, under suitable assumptions, is hereditary if and only if it is formally smooth if and only if it is the cotensor coalgebra if and only if it is a cotensor coalgebra , where N is a certain D-bicomodule in . Because of our choice, even when we apply our results in the category of vector spaces, new results are obtained. This paper was written while A. We define canonical representations R λ , , for the Lobachevsky space ℒ=G/K of dimension n−1 where G=SO0(n−1,1), K=SO(n−1), as the restriction to G of maximal degenerate series representations of the overgroup . In present paper we define a new kind of weak quantized enveloping algebra of Borcherds superalgebras . It is a noncommutative and noncocommutative weak graded Hopf algebra. Using localizing with some Ore set, we obtain a different kind of quantized enveloping algebras of Borcherds superalgebras . It has a homomorphic image which is isomorphic to the usual quantum enveloping algebra of . Moreover, is isomorphic to a direct sum of and an other algebra as algebras. We treat the problem of linearizability of a system of second order ordinary differential equations. The criterion we provide has applications to nonlinear Newtonian mechanics, especially in three-dimensional space. Let or , let , let , let and let
be a collection of m analytic second order ordinary differential equations, in general nonlinear. We obtain a new and applicable necessary and sufficient condition in order that this system is equivalent, under a point transformation

Bent functions have many applications in the fields of coding theory, communications and cryptography. This paper studies the constructions of bent functions having the form for odd n and for even n, over the finite field of odd characteristic p, where . Based on the irreducibility of some polynomials on , we focus on characterizing the bent functions for n=p v q r and n=2p v q r , where is an odd prime and p a primitive root modulo q 2. We construct a Diophantine interpretation of over . Using this together with a previous result that every recursively enumerable (r.e.) relation over is Diophantine over , we will prove that every r.e. relation over is Diophantine over . We will also look at recursive infinite base fields , algebraic over . We study the representation theory of the -algebra associated with a simple Lie algebra at level k. We show that the “-” reduction functor is exact and sends an irreducible module to zero or an irreducible module at any level k∈ℂ. Moreover, we show that the character of each irreducible highest weight representation of is completely determined by that of the corresponding irreducible highest weight representation of affine Lie algebra of . As a consequence we complete (for the “-” reduction) the proof of the conjecture of E. Frenkel, V. Kac and M. We study generalised prime systems , with tending to infinity) and the associated Beurling zeta function . Under appropriate assumptions, we establish various analytic properties of , including its analytic continuation, and we characterise the existence of a suitable generalised functional equation. In particular, we examine the relationship between a counterpart of the Prime Number Theorem (with error term) and the properties of the analytic continuation of . Further we study ‘well-behaved’ g-prime systems, namely, systems for which both the prime and integer counting function are asymptotically well-behaved. Finally, we show that there exists a natural correspondence between generalised prime systems and suitable orders on . Some of the above results are relevant to the second author’s theory of ‘fractal membranes’, whose spectral partition functions are given by Beurling-type zeta functions, as well as to joint work of that author and R. Let be an algebraic Lie algebra and a (generalised) Takiff algebra. Any finite-order automorphism θ of induces an automorphism of of the same order, denoted . We study invariant-theoretic properties of representations of the fixed point subalgebra of on other eigenspaces of in . We use the observation that, for special values of m, the fixed point subalgebra, , turns out to be a contraction of a certain Lie algebra associated with and θ. Let G be a Lie group whose Lie algebra g is quadratic. In the paper "the non-commutative Weil algebra", Alekseev and Meinrenken constructed an explicit G-differential space homomorphism £, called the quantization map, between the Well algebra Wg = S(g^*) χ∧A(g^*) and Wg= U(g) χ Cl(g) (which they call the noncommutative Weil algebra) for g. They showed that £ induces an algebra isomorphism between the basic cohomology rings Hbas^*(Wg) and Hbas^*(Wg). In this paper, we will interpret the quantization map .~ as the super Duflo map between the symmetric algebra S(Tg[1]) and the universal enveloping algebra U(Tg[1]) of a super Lie algebra T9[1] which is canonically associated with the quadratic Lie algebra g. The basic cohomology rings Hbas^*(Wg) and Hbas^*(Wg) correspond exactly to S(Tg[1])^inv and U(Tg[1])^inv, respectively. So what they proved is equivalent to the fact that the super Duflo map commutes with the adjoint action of the super Lie algebra, and that the super Duflo map is an algebra homomorphism when restricted to the space of invariants.  相似文献

In this paper, we will define a graph von Neumann algebra over a fixed von Neumann algebra M, where G is a countable directed graph, by a crossed product algebra = M × α , where is the graph groupoid of G and α is the graph-representation. After defining a certain conditional expectation from onto its M-diagonal subalgebra we can see that this crossed product algebra is *-isomorphic to an amalgamated free product where = vN(M × α where is the subset of consisting of all reduced words in {e, e –1} and M × α is a W *-subalgebra of as a new graph von Neumann algebra induced by a graph G e . Also, we will show that, as a Banach space, a graph von Neumann algebra is isomorphic to a Banach space ⊕ where is a certain subset of the set E(G)* of all words in the edge set E(G) of G. Applying (enriched) categorical structures we define the notion of ordered sheaf on a quantaloid , which we call ‘ -order’. This requires a theory of semicategories enriched in the quantaloid , that admit a suitable Cauchy completion. There is a quantaloid of -orders and ideal relations, and a locally ordered category of -orders and monotone maps; actually, . In particular is , with Ω a locale, the category of ordered objects in the topos of sheaves on Ω. In general -orders can equivalently be described as Cauchy complete categories enriched in the split-idempotent completion of . In the study of the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of differential-difference equations the -spectrum has been useful, where and implies Fourier transform , with given , φL (ℝ,X), X a Banach space, (half)line. Here we study and related concepts, give relations between them, especially weak Laplace half-line spectrum of φ, and thus ⊂ classical Beurling spectrum = Carleman spectrum =  ; also  = Beurling spectrum of “φ modulo ” (Chill-Fasangova). If satisfies a Loomis type condition (L U ), then countable and uniformly continuous ∈U are shown to imply ; here (L U ) usually means , indefinite integral Pf of f in U imply Pf in (the Bohl-Bohr theorem for = almost periodic functions, U=bounded functions). This spectral characterization and other results are extended to unbounded functions via mean classes , ℳ m U ((2.1) below) and even to distributions, generalizing various recent results for uniformly continuous bounded φ. Furthermore for solutions of convolution systems S*φ=b with in some we show . With these above results, one gets generalizations of earlier results on the asymptotic behaviour of solutions of neutral integro-differential-difference systems. In a topological construct endowed with a proper -factorization system and a concrete functor , we study -compactness and -Hausdorff separation, where is a class of “closed morphisms” in the sense of Clementino et al. (A functional approach to general topology. In: Categorical Foundations. Encyclopedia of Mathematics and Its Applications, vol. 97, pp. 103–163. Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 2004), determined by Λ. In particular, we point out under which conditions on Λ, the notion of -compactness of an object of coincides with 0-compactness of the image in Prap. Our results will be illustrated by some examples: except for some well-known ones, like b-compactness of a topological space, we also capture some compactness notions that were not considered before in the literature. In particular, we obtain a generalization of b-compactness to the setting of approach spaces. This notion is shown to play an important role in the study of uniformizability. In this paper, we study and classify Hilbert space representations of cross product -algebras of the quantized enveloping algebra with the coordinate algebras of the quantum motion group and of the complex plane, and of the quantized enveloping algebra with the coordinate algebras of the quantum group and of the quantum disc. The aim of this paper is to give some representation formulas of Riesz and Poisson-Jensen type for super-solutions to a class of hypoelliptic ultraparabolic operators on a homogeneous Lie group . Our results complete the ones obtained in Cinti (Math Scand 100:1–21, 2007). We also provide a suitable theory for -Green functions and for -Green potentials of Radon measures.
