Positive and negative hierarchies of nonlinear integrable lattice models are derived from a discrete spectral problem. The two lattice hierarchies are proved to have discrete zero curvature representations associated with a discrete spectral problem, which also shows that the positive and negative hierarchies correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. Moreover, the integrable lattice models in the positive hierarchy are of polynomial type, and the integrable lattice models in the negative hierarchy are of rational type. Further, we construct three integrable coupling systems of the positive hierarchy through enlarging Lax pair method.  相似文献

Two hierarchies of integrable positive and negative lattice equations in connection with a new discrete isospectral problem are derived. It is shown that they correspond to positive and negative power expansions respectively of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, and each equation in the resulting hierarchies is Liouville integrable. Moreover, infinitely many conservation laws of corresponding positive lattice equations are obtained in a direct way. Finally, a Darboux transformation is established with the help of gauge transformations of Lax pairs for the typical lattice soliton equations, by means of which the exact solutions are given.  相似文献

In this paper, two hierarchies of the Geng equations are presented, including positive non-isospectral hierarchy and negative non-isospectral hierarchy. Moreover, integrable couplings of the corresponding Geng hierarchies are also constructed by enlarging the associated matrix spectral problem. Three new integrable decompositions and conservation laws of the isospectral Geng equation are also obtained. The Gauge transformations are used to obtain the associated binary symmetry constraints of the Geng equation at the first time.  相似文献

Staring from a new spectral problem, a hierarchy of the soliton equations is derived. It is shown that the associated hierarchies are infinite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems. By the procedure of nonlinearization of the Lax pairs, the integrable decomposition of the whole soliton hierarchy is given. Further, we construct two integrable coupling systems for the hierarchy by the conception of semidirect sums of Lie algebras.  相似文献

We consider the integrable Camassa‐Holm (CH) equation on the line with positive initial data rapidly decaying at infinity. On such a phase space we construct a one‐parameter family of integrable hierarchies that preserves the mixed spectrum of the associated string spectral problem. This family includes the CH hierarchy. We demonstrate that the constructed flows can be interpreted as Hamiltonian flows on the space of Weyl functions of the associated string spectral problem. The corresponding Poisson bracket is the Atiyah‐Hitchin bracket. Using an infinite dimensional version of the Jacobi ellipsoidal coordinates, we obtain a one‐parameter family of canonical coordinates linearizing the flows. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

In general, Liouville integrable hierarchies of evolution equations were obtained by choosing proper U in zero curvature frame Ut - Vx + [U, V] = 0 first. But in the present paper, a new Liouville integrable hierarchy possessing bi-Hamiltonian structure is obtained by choosing V with derivatives in x and spectral potentials. Then integrable coupling, i.e. expanding Lax integrable model of the hierarchy obtained is presented by constructing a subalgebra of loop algebra A2.  相似文献

We consider the phenomenon whereby two different Painlevé hierarchies, related to the same hierarchy of completely integrable equations, are such that solutions of one member of one of the Painlevé hierarchies are also solutions of a higher-order member of the other Painlevé hierarchy. An explanation is given in terms of the Hamiltonian structures of the related underlying completely integrable hierarchies, and is sufficiently generally formulated so as to be applicable equally to both continuous and discrete Painlevé hierarchies. Special integrals of a further Painlevé hierarchy related by Bäcklund transformation to the other Painlevé hierarchy mentioned above can also be constructed. Examples of the application of this approach to Painlevé hierarchies related to the Korteweg–de Vries, dispersive water wave, Toda and Volterra integrable hierarchies are considered. Our results provide further evidence of the importance of the underlying structures of related completely integrable hierarchies in understanding the properties of Painlevé hierarchies.  相似文献

In this paper, nonlocal symmetries for the bilinear KP and bilinear BKP equations are re-studied. Two arbitrary parameters are introduced in these nonlocal symmetries by considering gauge invariance of the bilinear KP and bilinear BKP equations under the transformation     . By expanding these nonlocal symmetries in power series of each of two parameters, we have derived two types of bilinear NKP hierarchies and two types of bilinear NBKP hierarchies. An impressive observation is that bilinear positive and negative KP (NKP) and BKP hierarchies may be derived from the same nonlocal symmetries for the KP and BKP equations. Besides, as two concrete examples, we have derived bilinear Bäcklund transformations for   t −2  -flow of the NKP hierarchy and   t −1  -flow of the NBKP hierarchy. All these results have made it clear that more nice integrable properties would be found for these obtained NKP hierarchies and NBKP hierarchies. Because KP and BKP hierarchies have played an essential role in soliton theory, we believe that the bilinear NKP and NBKP hierarchies will have their right place in this field.  相似文献

We discuss the interpretation of dispersionless integrable hierarchies as equations of coisotropic deformations for certain associative algebras and other algebraic structures. We show that with this approach, the dispersionless Hirota equations for the dKP hierarchy are just the associativity conditions in a certain parameterization. We consider several generalizations and demonstrate that B-type dispersionless integrable hierarchies, such as the dBKP and the dVN hierarchies, are coisotropic deformations of the Jordan triple systems. In this paper we consider an extended Kaup–Newell (EKN) isospectral problem with an arbitrary smooth function and the corresponding two kinds of Lax integrable hierarchies by introducing two types of auxiliary spectral problems. The Hamiltonian structure of the second hierarchy is established. It is shown that the Hamiltonian system are integrable in Liouville’s sense and the set of Hamiltonian functions is the conserved densities of the second hierarchy, as well as they are in involutive in pairs under the Poisson bracket.  相似文献

Two different Lie super-algebras are constructed which establish two isospectral problems. Under the frame of the zero curvature equations, the corresponding super-integrable hierarchies of the Tu-hierarchy are obtained. A new subalgebra of loop algebra Ã1 is first constructed. Then a new Lax pair is presented, whose compatibility gives rise to a new Liouville integrable system(called a major result), possessing bi-Hamiltonian structures. It is remarkable that two symplectic operators obtained in this paper are directly constructed in terms of the recurrence relations. As reduction cases of the new integrable system obtained, the famous AKNS hierarchy and the KN hierarchy are obtained, respectively. Second, we prove a conjugate operator of a recurrence operator is a hereditary symmetry. Finally, we construct a high dimension loop algebra to obtain an integrable coupling system of the major result by making use of Tu scheme. In addition, we find the major result obtained is a unified expressing integrable model of both the AKNS and KN hierarchies, of course, we may also regard the major result as an expanding integrable model of the AKNS and KN hierarchies. Thus, we succeed to find an example of expanding integrable models being Liouville integrable.  相似文献

We construct integrable bi-Hamiltonian hierarchies related to compatible nonlocal Poisson brackets of hydrodynamic type and solve the problem of the canonical form for a pair of compatible nonlocal Poisson brackets of hydrodynamic type. A system of equations describing compatible nonlocal Poisson brackets of hydrodynamic type is derived. This system can be integrated by the inverse scattering problem method. Any solution of this integrable system generates integrable bi-Hamiltonian systems of hydrodynamic type according to explicit formulas. We construct a theory of Poisson brackets of the special Liouville type. This theory plays an important role in the construction of integrable hierarchies.  相似文献

By virtue of zero curvature representations, we are successful to generate the Lax representations of two hierarchies of discrete lattice equations respectively, which are derived from two new and interesting 3 × 3 matrix spectral problems. Moreover, by using the trace identity, the bi-Hamiltonian structures of the above systems are given, and it is shown that they are integrable in the Liouville sense. Finally, infinitely many conservation laws for the second hierarchy of lattice equations are given by a direct method.  相似文献

A new approach to construct a new 4 × 4 matrix spectral problem from a normal 2 × 2 matrix spectral problem is presented. AKNS spectral problem is discussed as an example. The isospectral evolution equation of the new 4 × 4 matrix spectral problem is nothing but the famous AKNS equation hierarchy. With the aid of the binary nonlinoearization method, the authors get new integrable decompositions of the AKNS equation.In this process, the r-matrix is used to get the result.  相似文献
