This paper is mainly concerned with stability analysis of neutral differential equations with multiple delays. Some criteria on instability, stability, asymptotic stability and exponential stability are obtained. The criterion on asymptotic stability is necessary and sufficient. Two examples are provided to illustrate the applications of our results. Some previous results are extended.  相似文献

In this article, we investigates finite-time H_∞ control problem of Markovian jumping neural networks of neutral type with distributed time varying delays. The mathematical model of the Markovian jumping neural networks with distributed delays is established in which a set of neural networks are used as individual subsystems. Finite time stability analysis for such neural networks is addressed based on the linear matrix inequality approach.Numerical examples are given to illustrate the usefulness of our proposed method. The results obtained are compared with the results in the literature to show the conservativeness.  相似文献

In this paper, the authors consider the asymptotic synchronization of a linear dissipative system with multiple feedback dampings. They ?rst show that under the observability of a scalar equation, Kalman’s rank condition is su?cient for the uniqueness of solution to a complex system of elliptic equations with mixedobservations. The authors then establish a general theory on the asymptotic stability and the asymptotic synchronization for the corresponding evolutional system subjected to mixed dampings of various natures. Some classic models are presented to illustrate the ?eld of applications of the abstract theory.  相似文献

In this paper the asymptotieal stability in p-moment of neutral stochastic differential equations with discrete and distributed time-varying delays is discussed. The authors apply the fixed-point theory rather than the Lyapunov functions. We give a sufficient condition for asymptotical stability in p-moment when the coefficient functions of equations are not required to be fixed values. Since more general form of system is considered, this paper improves Luo Jiaowan's results.  相似文献

A system of delay differential equations is studied which represent a model for four neurons with time delayed connections between the neurons and time delayed feedback from each neuron to itself. The linear stability and bifurcation of the system are studied in a parameter space consisting of the sum of the time delays between the elements and the product of the strengths of the connections between the elements. In this paper,we investigate the stability of the split-step theta(SST)method for a class of nonlinear regime-switching jump systems–neutral stochastic delay differential equations(NSDDEs)with Markov switching and jumps.As we know,there are few results on the stability of numerical solutions for NSDDEs with Markov switching and jumps.The purpose of this paper is to enrich conclusions in such respect.It first devotes to show that the trivial solution of the NSDDE with Markov switching and jumps is exponentially mean square stable and asymptotically mean square stable under some suitable conditions.If the drift coefficient also satisfies the linear growth condition,it then proves that the SST method applied to the NSDDE with Markov switching and jumps shares the same conclusions with the exact solution.Moreover,a numerical example is demonstrated to illustrate the obtained results.  相似文献

A delayed n-species nonautonomous Lotka-Volterra type competitive system without dominating instantaneous negative feedback is investigated. By means of a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are derived for the global asymptotic stability of the positive solutions of the system. As a corollary, it is shown that the global asymptotic stability of the positive solution is maintained provided that the delayed negative feedbacks dominate other interspecific interaction effects with delays and the delays are sufficiently small.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a generalized model of the two friction models, both of which have two different types of control forces with time-delayed feedback proposed by Ashesh Sara et al. By taking the time delay as the bifurcation parameter, we discuss the local stability of the Hopf bifurcations. Under some condition, the generalized model harbors a phenomenon that the equilibrium may undergo finite switches from stability to instability to stability and finally become unstable. By applying the method introduced by Faria and Magalhaes, we compute the normal form on the center manifold to determine the direction and stability of the Hopf bifurcations. Numerical simulations are carried out and more than one periodic solutions may exist according to the bifurcation diagram given by BIFTOOL. Finally a brief conclusion is presented.  相似文献

This paper concerns the stability and robust stability criteria for degenerate neu-tral systems with mixed time-varying delays. A method based on the stability of a new operator D and the linear matrix inequalities is presented that makes it easy to calculate both the upper stability bounds and the free weighting matrices. By applying the differential inequality theorem, sufficient conditions for the permanence of the system are obtained. This paper investigates the problem of robust reliable control for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems under asynchronous switching, where the switching instants of the controller experience delays with respect to those of the system and the parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm-bounded. A state feedback controller is proposed to guarantee exponential stability and reliability for switched neutral systems, and the dwell time approach is utilized for the stability analysis and controller design. This paper presents the analysis of delay-dependent bounded input bounded output (BIBO) stability for a class of switched uncertain neutral systems. The uncertainty is assumed to be of structured linear fractional form which includes the norm-bounded uncertainty as a special case. First, by introducing the general variation-of-constants formula of neutral systems with perturbation, the BIBO stability property of general linear switched neutral systems with perturbation is established. Next, combining the general variation-of-constants formula with the state-dependent switching rule, new approaches are presented to design the feedback controller and the switching rules. Furthermore, the BIBO stability criteria are obtained in terms of the so-called Lyapunov–Metzler linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, simulation examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and the potential of the proposed techniques in this paper.  相似文献

In this paper, a neutral delay Logarithmic population model with feedback control is studied. This article focuses on the robust sampled‐data control for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems based on the average dwell‐time approach. In particular, the system is considered with probabilistic input delay using sampled state vectors, which are described by the stochastic variables with a Bernoulli distributed white sequence and time‐varying norm‐bounded uncertainties. By constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional which involves the lower and upper bounds of the delay, a new set of sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the uncertain switched neutral system about its equilibrium point. Moreover, based on the stability criteria, a state feedback sampled‐data control law is designed for the considered system. Finally, a numerical example based on the water‐quality dynamic model for the Nile River is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design technique. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper deals with the output feedback sliding mode control for uncertain Itô neutral stochastic time-delay systems. The system states are unmeasured, and the uncertainties are unmatched. A sliding mode control scheme is proposed based on the state estimates. By utilizing a novel switching function, the derivative of the switching function is ensured to have a finite variation. It is shown that the sliding mode in the estimation space can be attained in finite time. A sufficient condition for the asymptotic stability (in probability) of the overall closed-loop stochastic system is derived. Finally, a simulation example is given to illustrate the proposed method.  相似文献

This article investigates the robust reliable control problem for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems with mixed interval time‐varying delays. The system under study involves state time‐delay, parameter uncertainties and possible actuator failures. In particular, the parameter uncertainties is assumed to satisfy linear fractional transformation formulation and the involved state delay are assumed to be randomly time varying which is modeled by introducing Bernoulli distributed sequences. The main objective of this article is to obtain robust reliable feedback controller design to achieve the exponential stability of the closed‐loop system in the presence of for all admissible parameter uncertainties. The proposed results not only applicable for the normal operating case of the system, but also in the presence of certain actuator failures. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a new set of criteria is derived for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the closed‐loop switched neutral system. More precisely, zero inequality approach, Wirtinger's based inequality, convex combination technique and average dwell time approach are used to simplify the derivation in the main results. Finally, numerical examples with simulation result are given to illustrate the effectiveness and applicability of the proposed design approach. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, the influence of control signals on the stability of two-lane traffic flow is mainly studied by applying control theory with lane changing behaviors. We present the two-lane dynamic collaboration model with lateral friction and the expressions of feedback control signals. What is more, utilizing the delayed feedback control theory to the two-lane dynamic collaboration model with control signals, we investigate the stability of traffic flow theoretically and the stability conditions for both lanes are derived with finding that the forward and lateral feedback signals can improve the stability of traffic flow while the backward feedback signals cannot achieve it. Besides, direct simulations are conducted to verify the results of theoretical analysis, which shows that the feedback signals have a significant effect on the running state of two vehicle groups, and the results are same with the theoretical analysis.  相似文献

This paper is a further note on stability criteria for uncertain neutral systems with mixed delays. We firstly employed a new method to estimate the upper bound of the derivative of functional, and novel stability criteria are presented for nominal neutral system, which will obtain less conservatism. Then, several sufficient stability conditions are proposed for neutral systems with polytopic uncertainty and linear fractional norm-bound uncertainty. Lastly, three numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and merit of the proposed results. In Appendix, the stability criteria in Lu et al. [21] are rectified.  相似文献
