Weak and Strong Convergence Theorems for New Demimetric Mappings and the Split Common Fixed Point Problem in Banach Spaces

In this paper, we consider the split common fixed point problem for new demimetric mappings in Banach spaces. Using the idea of Mann’s iteration, we prove a weak convergence theorem for finding a solution of the split common fixed point problem in Banach spaces. Furthermore, using the idea of Halpern’s iteration, we obtain a strong convergence theorem for finding a solution of the problem in Banach spaces. Using these results, we obtain well-known and new weak and strong convergence theorems in Hilbert spaces and Banach spaces.

讨论了δ集值非扩张映象在一致凸Banach空间中不动点非空的充分必要条件与Ishikawa迭代序列的收敛性及确保迭代程序收敛到不动点的条件,所得结果是单值非扩张映象情形的推广和发展.     

非扩张映象有限族的公共不动点的隐式迭代方法

本文在实一致凸和q一致光滑Banach空间中研究了一类新的有限族非扩张映象的公共不动点的具误差和具扰动映射的隐式迭代程序并且得到了一些收敛性定理.特别地,获得了该隐式迭代程序强收敛性的充要条件.本文所得结论推广了文[1,2]中的相应结果.     

Analysis and numerical simulation for a class of time fractional diffusion equation via tension spline

In this work, we prove the weak and strong convergence of a sequence generated by a modified S-iteration process for finding a common fixed point of two G-nonexpansive mappings in a uniformly convex Banach space with a directed graph. We also give some numerical examples for supporting our main theorem and compare convergence rate between the studied iteration and the Ishikawa iteration.     

Simultaneous iterative methods of asymptotically quasi‐nonexpansive semigroups for split equality common fixed point problem in Banach spaces

In this paper, we present iteration methods to find a solution of asymptotically quasi‐nonexpansive semigroups for a split equality common fixed point in Banach spaces. The results show weak and strong convergence theorem of iteration that improve and extend some recent results.     

Strong convergence and certain control conditions for modified Mann iteration

In this paper we propose a new modified Mann iteration for computing fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space setting. This new iterative scheme combines the modified Mann iteration introduced by Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iterations, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 51–60] and the viscosity approximation method introduced by Moudafi [A. Moudafi, Viscosity approximation methods for fixed-points problems, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 241 (2000) 46–55]. We give certain different control conditions for the modified Mann iteration. Strong convergence in a uniformly smooth Banach space is established.     

Weak and Strong Convergence of an Implicit Iteration Process in Uniformly Convex Banach Spaces

The purpose of this article is to introduce an implicit iteration process for approximating common fixed points of three finite families nonexpansive mappings and to prove weak and strong convergence theorems in uniformly convex Banach spaces.     

Strong convergence theorems for a common fixed point of two relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space

In this paper, we establish strong convergence theorems for a common fixed point of two relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space by using the hybrid method in mathematical programming. Our results extend and improve the recent ones announced by Matsushita and Takahashi [A strong convergence theorem for relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, J. Approx. Theory 134 (2005) 257-266], Matinez-yanes and Xu [Strong convergence of the CQ method for fixed point iteration processes, Nonlinear Anal. 64 (2006) 2400-2411], and many others.     

Viscosity approximation methods for pseudo-contractive semigroups in Banach spaces

We study the strong convergence of two viscosity iteration processes for pseudo-contractive semigroup and for ?$?$-strongly pseudo-contractive mapping in uniformly convex Banach spaces with uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm. As special cases, we get strong convergence of two viscosity iteration processes for approximating common fixed points of nonexpansive semigroups in certain Banach spaces. The results presented in this paper extend and generalize previous results.     

Krasnoselskii's iteration process in hyperbolic space

A well-known iteration scheme due to Krasnoselskii for approximation of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces is extended to a wider class of spaces. This class includes convex metric spaces of ‘hyperbolic’ type, and the results apply to the study of holomorphic self-mappings of the unit ball in complex Hilbert space.

A Mixed Mann Iteration Process for Fixed Points of Mixed Increasing Operators in Ordered Banach Spaces

In this paper, we develop a new mixed Mann iteration process to approximate the fixed points of mixed increasing operators in ordered Banach spaces and discuss the convergence analysis of the iterative sequences generated by the iteration process. As an application, we develop a new iterative method for solving a class of nonlinear integral equations.

In this paper we propose a new modified Mann iteration for computing common fixed points of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. We give certain different control conditions for the modified Mann iteration. Then, we prove strong convergence theorems for a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in uniformly smooth Banach spaces. These results improve and extend results of Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iterations, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 51–60], Yao, et al. [Y. Yao, R. Chen and J. Yao, Strong convergence and certain control conditions for modified Mann iteration, Nonlinear Anal. 68 (2008) 1687–1693], Qin and Su [X. Qin, Y. Su, Approximation of a zero point of accretive operator in Banach spaces, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 329 (2007) 415–424], and many others.     

A RANDOM FIXED POINT ITERATION FOR THREE RANDOM OPERATORS ON UNIFORMLY CONVEX BANACH SPACES

In the present paper we introduce a random iteration scheme for three random operators defined on a closed and convex subset of a uniformly convex Banach space and prove its convergence to a common fixed point of three random operators. The result is also an extersion of a known theorem in the corresponding non-random case.

New iteration algorithms for an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping

Under the framework of a real Banach space with an uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm, two new iteration algorithms are introduced to obtain strong convergence to a fixed point of an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping. Furthermore, the proof technique is independent of the implicit iteration-path.     

An implicit iteration process for solving a fixed point problem of a finite family of multi-valued mappings in Banach spaces

This work is concerned with the strong convergence of an approximating common fixed point sequence of a finite family of multi-valued mappings in a uniformly convex and smooth Banach space using an implicit iteration scheme introduced by Xu and Ori [H.K. Xu, R.G. Ori, An implicit iteration process for nonexpansive mappings, Numer. Funct. Anal. Optim. 22 (2001) 767–773].     

An Implicit Iteration Process with Errors for a Finite Family of r-strictly Asymptotically Pseudocontractive Mappings

In this paper,we will establish several strong convergence theorems for the approximation ofcommon fixed points of r-strictly asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings in uniformly convex Banachspaces using the modiied implicit iteration sequence with errors,and prove the necessary and sufficient conditionsfor the convergence of the sequence.Our results generalize,extend and improve the recent work,in thistopic.
