We consider the simultaneous stabilization problem for second-order linear scalar stationary plants and obtain an easy-to-verify necessary condition for simultaneous stabilization as well as a sufficient condition with a constructive algorithm for designing a stabilizing controller. The problem of extending a set of simultaneously stabilizable plants is considered as well. To solve these problems, we use an approach based on the consideration of parametric spaces of polynomials and transfer functions and on a method for finding the stability radii of the polynomials.  相似文献

We consider the problem of constructing a common controller stabilizing a finite family of linear dynamic plants of various orders with respect to state. For the solution, we use the method of extension of dynamic order, which permits one to reduce the original problem to a problem of simultaneous stabilization of plants of the same order. In the present paper, we consider the problem of simultaneous α-stabilization (i.e., stabilization with degree of stability exceeding a given number α > 0) for linear scalar stationary plants of arbitrary order, for which we obtain numerically verifiable necessary conditions for simultaneous α-stabilization and a sufficient condition together with a constructive algorithm for the stabilizing controller design. We consider uncoupled wave equations with different speed of propagation in a bounded domain. Using a combination of the Bardos–Lebeau–Rauch observability result for a single wave equation and a new unique continuation result for uncoupled wave equations, we prove an observability estimate for that system. Applying Lions? Hilbert uniqueness method (HUM), one may derive simultaneous exact controllability results for the uncoupled system; the controls being locally distributed, with their supports satisfying the geometric control condition of Bardos, Lebeau and Rauch. Afterwards, we discuss the related simultaneous stabilization problem; this latter problem is solved by a combination of the new observability inequality, and a result of Haraux establishing an equivalence between observability and stabilization for second order evolution equations with bounded damping operators. Our observability and stabilization results generalize to higher space dimensions some earlier results of Haraux established in the one-dimensional setting.  相似文献

We consider the problem of the construction of a common stabilizing controller for a family of k linear stationary nth-order plants with commensurable delays in the controls and the state variables. Our approach to stabilization is based on the construction of a common two-loop stabilizer. The controller of the first (internal) loop solves the problem of reducing each plant of the family to a finite spectrum, and the controller of the second (external) contour solves the stabilization problem.  相似文献

In this article, we consider a continuous-time state-dependent jump linear system (SDJLS), a kind of stochastic hybrid system, with the presence of uncertainties in system parameters. In SDJLS, we consider that the transition rates of the underlying random jump process depend on the state variable. In particular, we assume the transition rates to have different values across suitably defined sets to which the state of the system belongs, and address a problem of robust stability and stabilization analysis. We obtain sufficient conditions for robust stability and state-feedback stabilization in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). We validate the obtained sufficient robust stability and stabilization conditions with numerical examples.  相似文献

The present paper deals with the exposition of methods for solving the Brockett problem on the stabilization of linear control systems by a nonstationary feedback. The paper consists of two parts. We consider continuous linear control systems in the first part and discrete systems in the second part. In the first part, we consider two approaches to the solution of the Brockett problem. The first approach permits one to obtain low-frequency stabilization, and the second part deals with high-frequency stabilization. Both approaches permit one to derive necessary and sufficient stabilization conditions for two-dimensional (and three-dimensional, for the first approach) linear systems with scalar inputs and outputs. In the second part, we consider an analog of the Brockett problem for discrete linear control systems. Sufficient conditions for low-frequency stabilization of linear discrete systems are obtained with the use of a piecewise constant periodic feedback with sufficiently large period. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for the stabilization of two-dimensional discrete systems. In the second part, we also consider the control problem for the spectrum (the pole assignment problem) of the monodromy matrix for discrete systems with a periodic feedback.  相似文献

We consider problems close to that of the minimal stabilization of a linear vector (i.e., MISO or SIMO) dynamic system; more specifically, the problem of determining the number of common roots of a family of polynomials, and investigating the properties of the so-called generalized Sylvester matrix. The classical definition of the Sylvester matrix is valid for two polynomials, and there are different methods for defining the generalized (extended) Sylvester matrix for a family of polynomials. In this work, we consider a definition of the generalized Sylvester matrix and its properties in the context of their potential future application for solving the minimal stabilization problem.  相似文献

We consider the problem on the existence of a common stabilizer for a finite family of continuous linear scalar nonstationary plants. To solve the problem, we suggest to use a topological approach based on finding a common stabilizer in the form of a convex combination of stabilizers for the individual plants and on an application of well-known assertions about the properties of sets on simplices.  相似文献
