Fuzzy Order Filters in Adjoint Semigroups of BCK-Algebras

In this paper, we introduce the notion of fuzzy order filters in adjoint semigroups of BCK-algebras. We prove that there is a bijection between the fuzzy ideals of BCK-algebras X and the fuzzy order filters in the adjoint semigroup M(X) of X.AMS Subject Classification (2000) 06F35 03G25 20M10     

On some computational algorithms forn-fold ideals in BCK-algebras

This paper is devoted to thefoldness theory of implicative ideals in BCK-algebras. We use the fuzzy point concept to give some characterizations of fuzzyn-fold implicative ideals and establish some relationships with variousn-fold ideals. We also construct some algorithms for studying the foldness of implicative ideals in BCK-algebras.

Homomorphisms of implicative semigroups

Implicative semigroups and Brouwerian semigroups were studied by W. C. Nemitz and T. S. Blyth, respectively. In this paper, following the ideas of Nemitz and Blyth, we introduce the notion of negatively partially ordered implicative semigroups and studied the homomorphisms between these semigroups. Some results of Nemitz on implicative semilattices are generalized and amplified to implicative semigroups. Research is partially supported by CUHK small Project grant 220.600.080.

Semigroup closures of finite rank symmetric inverse semigroups

We introduce the notion of semigroup with a tight ideal series and investigate their closures in semitopological semigroups, particularly inverse semigroups with continuous inversion. As a corollary we show that the symmetric inverse semigroup of finite transformations I _λ ⁿ of the rank ≤ n is algebraically closed in the class of (semi)topological inverse semigroups with continuous inversion. We also derive related results about the nonexistence of (partial) compactifications of classes of semigroups that we consider.

In this paper,fuzzy quasi-ideals of ordered semigroups are characterized by the properties of their level subsets.Furthermore,we introduce the notion of completely semiprime fuzzy quasi-ideals of ordered semigroups and characterize strongly regular ordered semigroups in terms of completely semiprime fuzzy quasi-ideals.Finally,we investigate the characterizations and decompositions of left and right simple ordered semigroups by means of fuzzy quasi-ideals.     

Implicative hyper <Emphasis Type="Italic">K</Emphasis>-algebras

In this note we first define the notions of (weak, strong) implicative hyper K-algebras. Then we show by examples that these notions are different. After that we state and prove some theorems which determine the relationship between these notions and (weak) hyper K-ideals. Also we obtain some relations between these notions and (weak) implicative hyper K-ideals. Finally, we study the implicative hyper K-algebras of order 3, in particular we obtain a relationship between the positive implicative hyper K-algebras and (weak, strong) implicative hyper K-algebras under a simple condition.     

ON AN ALGEBRAIZATION OF MEASURE THEORY. ABSTRACT SEMIRINGS

Abstract

The concept of a semiring is introduced as a semilattice analogue of a semiring of sets. A detailed study of its embeddability into r-complete Boolean algebras is carried out. Some of its properties which are important from the standpoint of Measure Theory are elucidated. A representation of a semiring by a Semiring of sets is derived. A relation to implicative BCK-algebras is also mentioned.     

The poset structure of positive implicative BCK-algebras

Many algebraic structures can be characterized in terms of some order structure. Among them are lattices, semilattices, boolean algebras, and semi-boolean algebras. In this paper we show that a pBCK-algebra can be characterized in terms of two order relations, one of which also makes it an implicative BCK-algebra. One of these orders is the well-known order for the larger class of BCK-algebras; the other one is a new order we introduce here.Presented by I. Rosenberg.

Regular F-Abundant Semigroups

ABSTRACT

The investigation of regular F-abundant semigroups is initiated. In fact, F-abundant semigroups are generalizations of regular cryptogroups in the class of abundant semigroups. After obtaining some properties of such semigroups, the construction theorem of the class of regular F-abundant semigroups is obtained. In addition, we also prove that a regular F-abundant semigroup is embeddable into a semidirect product of a regular band by a cancellative monoid. Our result is an analogue of that of Gomes and Gould on weakly ample semigroups, and also extends an earlier result of O'Carroll on F-inverse semigroups.
