Asymptotic and Partial Asymptotic Hankel Operators on $$H^2(\mathbb{D}^n)$$ H 2 ( D n ) )

In this paper, we generalize the concept of asymptotic Hankel operators on H²(D) to the Hardy space H²(Dⁿ) (over polydisk) in terms of asymptotic Hankel and partial asymptotic Hankel operators and investigate some properties in case of its weak and strong convergence. Meanwhile, we introduce i^th-partial Hankel operators on H²(Dⁿ) and obtain a characterization of its compactness for n > 1. Our main results include the containment of Toeplitz algebra in the collection of all strong partial asymptotic Hankel operators on H²(Dⁿ). It is also shown that a Toeplitz operator with symbol φ is asymptotic Hankel if and only if φ is holomorphic function in L^∞(Tⁿ).

Operators of Hankel type

Hankel operators and their symbols, as generalized by V. Pták and P. Vrbová, are considered. The present note provides a parametric labeling of all the Hankel symbols of a given Hankel operator X by means of Schur class functions. The result includes uniqueness criteria and a Schur like formula. As a by-product, a new proof of the existence of Hankel symbols is obtained. The proof is established by associating to the data of the problem a suitable isometry V so that there is a bijective correspondence between the symbols of X and the minimal unitary extensions of V.     

Hankel operators and best Hankel approximation on the half-plane

The objective of this paper is to give an interrelation between Hankel oeprators on the unit disc and Hankel operators on the half-plane. As an application, the AAK result on the half-plane is established and the rate of best Hankel approximation on the halfplane is derived. Two Kinds of Numbers and Their Applications

C. Radoux （J. Comput. Appl. Math., 115 （2000） 471-477） obtained a computational formula of Hankel determinants on some classical combinatorial sequences such as Catalan numbers and polynomials, Bell polynomials, Hermite polynomials, Derangement polynomials etc. From a pair of matrices this paper introduces two kinds of numbers. Using the first kind of numbers we give a unified treatment of Hankel determinants on those sequences, i.e., to consider a general representation of Hankel matrices on the first kind of numbers. It is interesting that the Hankel determinant of the first kind of numbers has a close relation that of the second kind of numbers.     

Toeplitz and Hankel Products on Bergman Spaces of the Unit Ball

The authors give some new necessary conditions for the boundedness of Toeplitz products Tf^aTg^a on the weighted Bergman space Aa^2 of the unit ball, where f and g are analytic on the unit ball. Hankel products HfH9^＋ on the weighted Bergman space of the unit ball are studied, and the results analogous to those Stroethoff and Zheng obtained in the setting of unit disk are proved.     

The Pseudo-differential Operator hμ,a on Hankel Invariant Spaces

Using Hankel transform the symbol 'a' is defined and the pseudo-differential operator (p.d.o.) h_μ,a associated with the Bessel operator d ²/dx ² + (1 ? 4μ ²)/4x ² in terms of this symbol is defined. It is shown that the operator h_μ,a is a continuous linear map of a Hankel invariant space into itself. A special pseudo-differential operator called the Hankel potential is defined and some of its properties are investigated.     

Algebraic properties of Toeplitz and small Hankel operators on the harmonic Bergman space

In this paper,we discuss some algebraic properties of Toeplitz operators and small Hankel operators with radial and quasihomogeneous symbols on the harmonic Bergman space of the unit disk in the complex plane C.We solve the product problem of quasihomogeneous Toeplitz operator and quasihomogeneous small Hankel operator.Meanwhile,we characterize the commutativity of quasihomogeneous Toeplitz operator and quasihomogeneous small Hankel operator.

On Connes’ trace formula for the Hankel transformation of order-1/2

A local Hankel transformation of order 1/2 is defined for every finite place of the field of rational numbers.Its inversion formula and the Plancherel type theorem are obtained.A Connes type trace formula is given for each local Hankel transformation of order 1/2.An S-local Connes type trace formula is derived for the S-local Hankel transformation of order 1/2.These formulas are generalizations of Connes’ corresponding trace formulas in 1999.
