We prove some weighted estimates for certain Littlewood-Paley operators on the weighted Hardy spaces H_w^p (0<p?1) and on the weighted L^p spaces. We also prove some weighted estimates for the Bochner-Riesz operators and the spherical means.

Estimates of approximation numbers and applications

In this study, the estimates of approximation numbers of embedding operators in weighted spaces have been analyzed. These estimates depend on orders of differential operators, dimensions of function spaces and weighted functions. This fact implies that the associated embedding operators belong to Schatten class of compact operators. By using these estimates, the discreetness of spectrum and completion of root elements relating to principal nonselfedjoint degenerate differential operators is obtained.

In this article, we provide estimates for the degree of V bilipschitz determinacy of weighted homogeneous function germs defined on weighted homogeneous analytic variety V satisfying a convenient Lojasiewicz condition.The result gives an explicit order such that the geometrical structure of a weighted homogeneous polynomial function germs is preserved after higher order perturbations.     

Essential spectrum of the weighted Laplacian on noncompact manifolds and applications

We obtain upper estimates for the bottom (that is, greatest lower bound) of the essential spectrum of weighted Laplacian operator of a noncompact weighted manifold under assumptions of the volume growth of their geodesic balls and spheres. Furthermore, we find examples where the equality occurs in the estimates obtained. As a consequence, we give estimates for the weighted mean curvature of complete noncompact hypersurfaces into weighted manifolds.     

Bounds for weighted Lebesgue functions for exponential weights. II

In [3] we found estimates for the weighted Lebesgue functions, Δ_n(x), for a class of exponential weights that includes non-even weights, when the interpolation points are the zeros of orthogonal polynomials. In this paper, we use Szabados" method of adding two extra interpolation points to find better estimates for Lebesgue functions. This revised version was published online in June 2006 with corrections to the Cover Date.     

Weighted norm inequalities for the multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operators

In this paper, by proving some suitable weighted endpoint estimates, and then by multilinear interpolation and a new multilinear extrapolation lemma, the author establishes some weighted estimates for the multilinear Calderón-Zygmund operator. Also, the author gives a weighted estimate for the corresponding commutator.

In this paper we study the Gelfand and Kolmogorov numbers of Sobolev embeddings between weighted function spaces of Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin type with polynomial weights. The sharp asymptotic estimates are determined in the so-called non-limiting case.     

Multiple weighted estimates for commutators of multilinear maximal function

Let M be the multilinear maximal function and b =(b1,..., bm) be a collection of locally integrable functions. Denote by M b and [ b, M] the maximal commutator and the commutator of M with b, respectively. In this paper, the multiple weighted strong and weak type estimates for operators M b and [ b, M] are studied. Some characterizations of the class of functions bj are given, for which these operators satisfy some strong or weak type estimates.

Weighted L~p-estimates for Stokes flow in R_+~n with applications to the non-stationary Navier-Stokes flow

We study the time-decay properties of weighted norms of solutions to the Stokes equations and the Navier-Stokes equations in the half-space Rn+ (n 2). Three kinds of the weighted Lp-Lr estimates are established for the Stokes semigroup generated by the Stokes operator in the half-space R+n (n 2). As an application of the weighted estimates of the Stokes semigroup, a class of local and global strong solutions in weighted Lp (R+n) are constructed, following the approach given by Kato.     

Global existence and finite time blow up for the weighted semilinear wave equation

In this paper, we explain how weighted Strichartz estimates could be exploited to deal with the long time existence problem for the weighted semilinear wave equation with small data. When the solution blows up in finite time, we obtain the estimates for the lifespan of the solution.
