利用弹性悬臂梁模态叠加构造出约束阻尼悬臂梁的振动模态,基于Lagrange方程推导出了约束阻尼悬臂梁的控制方程,求解了在集中力突然卸载的情况下约束阻尼悬臂梁的动力响应.计算并测试了一系列铝合金约束阻尼悬臂梁模型的振动频率和瞬态响应,分析了阻尼层材料参数对铝合金约束悬臂梁瞬态响应时间的影响.采用了解析法以及实验法两种方法,结果表明,所采用的方法是可靠的.  相似文献

The paper introduces a mechanically inspired nonholonomic integrator for numerical simulation of the dynamics of a constrained geometrically exact beam that is a field-theoretic analogue of the Chaplygin sleigh. The integrator features an exact constraint preservation, an excellent numerical energy conservation throughout a large number of iterations, while avoiding the use of unnecessary Lagrange multipliers. Simulations of the dynamics of the constrained beam reveal typical for nonholonomic system’s behavior, such as motion reversals and locomotion generation.

A model for the thermomechanical behaviour of a beam which allows for the general evolution of material damage is presented and investigated. One end of the beam is fixed while the other is constrained to move between two stops. The contact of the free tip with the stops is modelled by the normal compliance condition. The thermal interaction between the stops and the free tip is described by a heat exchange condition where the heat transfer coefficient is a general function of the gaps between the tip and the stops. The effects on the mechanical properties of the material due to crack expansion are described by a damage field, which measures the decrease in the load-bearing capacity of the material. The damage evolves as a constrained diffusion process in which the microcracks that develop may grow or disappear. The mathematical model consists of a coupled system of energy--elasticity equations together with a nonlinear parabolic inclusion for the damage field. The existence of a local solution is established using truncation, penalization, and a priori estimates.  相似文献

In this paper we study freely propagating inertial, i.e., unforced, waves, in an elastic beam constrained so that all motion takes place above and on a flat, rigid support surface, subject to a gravitational force and a compressive longitudinal load. Contact between the beam and the support surface is assumed to be completely inelastic. A nonlinear beam model is used, incorporating a quartic extension of the familiar quadratic potential energy functional for the standard Euler--Bernoulli model. After briefly reviewing the rationale for the model and some of its properties, as developed in earlier articles, we present existence and uniqueness results for the constrained system obtained with the use of a ``penalty function' approach involving the addition of a ``uni-directional friction' dissipative term, active only when the constraint is violated, to the unconstrained system.  相似文献

In this study, the static response is presented for a simply supported functionally graded hybrid beam subjected to a transverse uniform load. Material properties of the beam are assumed to be graded in the thickness direction according to a simple power-law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. By varying the fiber volume fraction within a symmetric laminated beam and combining two fiber types to create a hybrid functionally graded material (FGM) can offer desirable increases in axial and bending stiffness. The equations governing the hybrid FGM beams are determined using the principle of virtual work (PVW) arising from the higher order shear deformation theories. Numerical results on the transverse deflection, axial and shear stresses in a moderately thick hybrid FGM beam under uniform distributed load are discussed in depth. The effect of power-law exponent on the deflection and stresses are also commented.  相似文献

This paper presents a class of constrained optimization problems whereby a quadratic cost function is to be minimized with respect to a weight vector subject to an inequality quadratic constraint on the weight vector. This class of constrained optimization problems arises as a result of a motivation for designing robust antenna array processors in the field of adaptive array processing. The constrained optimization problem is first solved by using the primal-dual method. Numerical techniques are presented to reduce the computational complexity of determining the optimal Lagrange multiplier and hence the optimal weight vector. Subsequently, a set of linear constraints or at most linear plus norm constraints are developed for approximating the performance achievable with the quadratic constraint. The use of linear constraints is very attractive, since they reduce the computational burden required to determine the optimal weight vector.  相似文献

Displacement field based on higher order shear deformation theory is implemented to study the static behavior of functionally graded metal–ceramic (FGM) beams under ambient temperature. FGM beams with variation of volume fraction of metal or ceramic based on power law exponent are considered. Using the principle of stationary potential energy, the finite element form of static equilibrium equation for FGM beam is presented. Two stiffness matrices are thus derived so that one among them will reflect the influence of rotation of the normal and the other shear rotation. Numerical results on the transverse deflection, axial and shear stresses in a moderately thick FGM beam under uniform distributed load for clamped–clamped and simply supported boundary conditions are discussed in depth. The effect of power law exponent for various combination of metal–ceramic FGM beam on the deflection and stresses are also commented. The studies reveal that, depending on whether the loading is on the ceramic rich face or metal rich face of the beam, the static deflection and the static stresses in the beam do not remain the same.  相似文献

In this paper, a mathematical program with complementarity constraints (MPCC) is reformulated as a nonsmooth constrained mathematical program via the Fischer–Burmeister function. Smooth penalty functions are used to treat this nonsmooth constrained program. Under linear independence constraint qualification, and upper level strict complementarity condition, together with some other mild conditions, we prove that the limit point of stationary points satisfying second-order necessary conditions of unconstrained penalized problems is a strongly stationary point, hence a B-stationary point of the original MPCC. Furthermore, this limit point also satisfies a second-order necessary condition of the original MPCC. Numerical results are presented to test the performance of this method.  相似文献

This paper presents a quadratically approximate algorithm framework (QAAF) for solving general constrained optimization problems, which solves, at each iteration, a subproblem with quadratic objective function and quadratic equality together with inequality constraints. The global convergence of the algorithm framework is presented under the Mangasarian-Fromovitz constraint qualification (MFCQ), and the conditions for superlinear and quadratic convergence of the algorithm framework are given under the MFCQ, the constant rank constraint qualification (CRCQ) as well as the strong second-order sufficiency conditions (SSOSC). As an incidental result, the definition of an approximate KKT point is brought forward, and the global convergence of a sequence of approximate KKT points is analysed.  相似文献

在前文中[1],作者首次提出了大位移非线性弹性力学的位能原理和余能原理,以及各种完全的和不完全的广义变分原理.但在约束条件和欧拉条件上,证明和叙述都不很明确,有时甚至把原来应该是欧拉方程的误认为是约束条件,如余能驻值原理中,应力位移关系原应是欧拉方程,但把它当作了变分约束条件.这就是说:我们把余能驻值原理约束得超过了必要的要求.还有,在所有变分原理中,应力应变关系式都是不参加变分的约束条件,亦即,他们是从已定应力导出应变或从已定应变导出应力的约束条件.这一点,在文[1](1979)中,并未明确指出.本文并将用高阶拉氏乘子法,导出更一般的广义变分原理(1983)[2].本文使用V.V.Novozhilov的有关非线性弹性力学的成果(1958)[3].  相似文献

欠驱动系统的控制是非线性控制的一个重要领域,欠驱动系统指系统控制输入个数小于自由度个数的非线性系统.目前,欠驱动非线性系统动力学和控制研究的主要方法包括线性二次型最优控制方法和部分反馈线性化方法等,如何使系统持续的稳定在平衡位置一直是研究的难点.虚拟约束方法是指通过选择一个周期循环变化的变量作为自变量来设计系统的周期运动.该文以典型的欠驱动模型起重机为例,采用虚拟约束方法,使系统能够在平衡位置稳定或周期振荡运动.首先,通过建立虚拟约束,减少系统自由度变量;然后,通过部分反馈线性化理论推导出系统的状态方程;最后,通过线性二次调节器设计反馈控制器.仿真结果表明,重物在反馈控制下可以在竖直位置的附近达到稳定状态,反映了虚拟约束方法对欠驱动系统的有效性.  相似文献

We present second-order accurate central finite volume methods adapted to three-dimensional ideal magnetohydrodynamics problems. These methods alternate between two staggered grids, thus leading to Riemann solver-free algorithms with relatively favorable computing times. The div· B = 0 constraint on the magnetic field is enforced with a suitable adaptation of the constrained transport method to our central schemes. Numerical experiments show the feasibility of the proposed methods and our results are in good agreement with existing results in the recent literature. (© 2008 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. Bearing in mind the notion of monotone vector field on Riemannian manifolds, see [12--16], we study the set of their singularities and for a particularclass of manifolds develop an extragradient-type algorithm convergent to singularities of such vector fields. In particular, our method can be used forsolving nonlinear constrained optimization problems in Euclidean space, with a convex objective function and the constraint set a constant curvature Hadamard manifold. Our paper shows how tools of convex analysis on Riemannian manifolds can be used to solve some nonconvex constrained problem in a Euclidean space.O.P. Summary This paper considers the problems of minimizing Gateaux-differentiable functionals over subsets of real Banach spaces defined by a non-linear equality constraint. The existence of a Lagrange multiplier is proved, together with approximation results on the constrained subset, provided a nonlinear compatibility condition, generalizing the classical inf-sup condition, is satisfied. These ideas are applied to equilibrium problems in incompressible finite elasticity and lead to convergence results for these problems.  相似文献

Numerical methods for solving constrained optimization problems need to incorporate the constraints in a manner that satisfies essentially competing interests; the incorporation needs to be simple enough that the solution method is tractable, yet complex enough to ensure the validity of the ultimate solution. We introduce a framework for constraint incorporation that identifies a minimal acceptable level of complexity and defines two basic types of constraint incorporation which (with combinations) cover nearly all popular numerical methods for constrained optimization, including trust region methods, penalty methods, barrier methods, penalty-multiplier methods, and sequential quadratic programming methods. The broad application of our framework relies on addition and chain rules for constraint incorporation which we develop here.  相似文献

We propose and analyze a perturbed version of the classical Josephy–Newton method for solving generalized equations. This perturbed framework is convenient to treat in a unified way standard sequential quadratic programming, its stabilized version, sequential quadratically constrained quadratic programming, and linearly constrained Lagrangian methods. For the linearly constrained Lagrangian methods, in particular, we obtain superlinear convergence under the second-order sufficient optimality condition and the strict Mangasarian–Fromovitz constraint qualification, while previous results in the literature assume (in addition to second-order sufficiency) the stronger linear independence constraint qualification as well as the strict complementarity condition. For the sequential quadratically constrained quadratic programming methods, we prove primal-dual superlinear/quadratic convergence under the same assumptions as above, which also gives a new result.  相似文献

Three constraint qualifications (the weak generalized Robinson constraint qualification, the bounded constraint qualification, and the generalized Abadie constraint qualification), which are weaker than the generalized Robinson constraint qualification (GRCQ) given by Yen (1997) [1], are introduced for constrained Lipschitz optimization problems. Relationships between those constraint qualifications and the calmness of the solution mapping are investigated. It is demonstrated that the weak generalized Robinson constraint qualification and the bounded constraint qualification are easily verifiable sufficient conditions for the calmness of the solution mapping, whereas the proposed generalized Abadie constraint qualification, described in terms of graphical derivatives in variational analysis, is weaker than the calmness of the solution mapping. Finally, those constraint qualifications are written for a mathematical program with complementarity constraints (MPCC), and new constraint qualifications ensuring the C-stationary point condition of a MPCC are obtained.  相似文献

Chance constraint is widely used for modeling solution reliability in optimization problems with uncertainty. Due to the difficulties in checking the feasibility of the probabilistic constraint and the non-convexity of the feasible region, chance constrained problems are generally solved through approximations. Joint chance constrained problem enforces that several constraints are satisfied simultaneously and it is more complicated than individual chance constrained problem. This work investigates the tractable robust optimization approximation framework for solving the joint chance constrained problem. Various robust counterpart optimization formulations are derived based on different types of uncertainty set. To improve the quality of robust optimization approximation, a two-layer algorithm is proposed. The inner layer optimizes over the size of the uncertainty set, and the outer layer optimizes over the parameter t which is used for the indicator function upper bounding. Numerical studies demonstrate that the proposed method can lead to solutions close to the true solution of a joint chance constrained problem.  相似文献
