<正>We consider a finite difference scheme for a nonlinear wave equation,whose solutions may lose their smoothness in finite time,i.e.,blow up in finite time.In order to numerically reproduce blow-up solutions,we propose a rule for a time-stepping, which is a variant of what was successfully used in the case of nonlinear parabolic equations.A numerical blow-up time is defined and is proved to converge,under a certain hypothesis,to the real blow-up time as the grid size tends to zero.  相似文献

In this paper,nonconforming finite element methods(FEMs)are proposed for the constrained optimal control problems(OCPs)governed by the nonsmooth elliptic equations,in which the popular EQr1 ot element is employed to approximate the state and adjoint state,and the piecewise constant element is used to approximate the control.Firstly,the convergence and superconvergence properties for the nonsmooth elliptic equation are obtained by introducing an auxiliary problem.Secondly,the goal-oriented error estimates are obtained for the objective function through establishing the negative norm error estimate.Lastly,the methods are extended to some other well-known nonconforming elements.  相似文献

We prove weighted mixed-norm Lqt(W2,px)and Lqt(C2,αx)estimates for 10,x∈Rn.x∈Rn,The coefficients a(t)=(aij(t))are just bounded,measurable,symmetric and uniformly elliptic.Furthermore,we show strong,weak type and BMO-Sobolev estimates with parabolic Muckenhoupt weights.It is quite remarkable that most of our results are new even for the classical heat equation?tu?Δu+u=f.  相似文献

We consider semilinear elliptic Dirichlet problems in bounded domains, overdetermined with a Neumann condition on a proper part of the boundary. Under different kinds of assumptions, we show that these problems admit a solution only if the domain is a ball. When these assumptions are not fulfilled, we discuss possible counterexamples to symmetry. We also consider Neumann problems overdetermined with a Dirichlet condition on a proper part of the boundary, and the case of partially overdetermined problems on exterior domains.  相似文献

In this paper,we review some results on the spectral methods.We frst consider the Jacobi spectral method and the generalized Jacobi spectral method for various problems,including degenerated and singular diferential equations.Then we present the generalized Jacobi quasi-orthogonal approximation and its applications to the spectral element methods for high order problems with mixed inhomogeneous boundary conditions.We also discuss the related spectral methods for non-rectangular domains and the irrational spectral methods for unbounded domains.Next,we consider the Hermite spectral method and the generalized Hermite spectral method with their applications.Finally,we consider the Laguerre spectral method and the generalized Laguerre spectral method for many problems defned on unbounded domains.We also present the generalized Laguerre quasi-orthogonal approximation and its applications to certain problems of non-standard type and exterior problems.  相似文献

We consider semi-infinite linear minimization problems and prove a refinement of an optimality condition proved earlier by the author. This refinement is used to derive a sufficient condition for strong uniqueness of a minimal point. As an application, we show that these strongly unique minimal points depend (pointwise) Lipschitz-continuously on the parameter of the minimization problem. Finally, we consider numerical algorithms for semi-infinite optimization problems and we apply the above results to derive error estimates for these algorithms.  相似文献

In this paper we shall consider two types of vector ordering on the vector space of differences of negative plurisubharmonic functions, and the problem whether it is possible to construct supremum and infimum. Then we consider two different approaches to define the complex Monge–Ampère operator on these vector spaces, and we solve some Dirichlet problems. We consider the question of Lp-maximal regularity for inhomogeneous Cauchy problems in Banach spaces using operator-valued Fourier multipliers. This follows results by L. Weis in the continuous time setting and by S. Blunck for discrete time evolution equations. We generalize the later result to the case of some discrete time scales (discrete problems with nonconstant step size). First we introduce an adequate evolution family of operators to consider the general problem. Then we consider the case where the step size is a periodic sequence by rewriting the problem on a product space and using operator matrix valued Fourier multipliers. Finally we give a perturbation result allowing to consider a wider class of step sizes.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a periodic vehicle routing problem that includes, in addition to the classical constraints, the possibility of a vehicle doing more than one route per day, as long as the maximum daily operation time for the vehicle is not exceeded. In addition, some constraints relating to accessibility of the vehicles to the customers, in the sense that not every vehicle can visit every customer, must be observed. We refer to the problem we consider here as the site-dependent multi-trip periodic vehicle routing problem. An algorithm based on tabu search is presented for the problem and computational results presented on randomly generated test problems that are made publicly available. Our algorithm is also tested on a number of routing problems from the literature that constitute particular cases of the proposed problem. Specifically we consider the periodic vehicle routing problem; the site-dependent vehicle routing problem; the multi-trip vehicle routing problem; and the classical vehicle routing problem. Computational results for our tabu search algorithm on test problems taken from the literature for all of these problems are presented.  相似文献

In this work, we consider some problems of the qualitative theory of ordinary differential equations; the study of dissipative systems, as well as variable dissipation system considered below, which, in particular, arise in the dynamics of a rigid body interacting with a medium and in the oscillation theory, depends on solutions of these problems. We consider such problems as existence and uniqueness problems for trajectories having infinitely remote points as limit sets for systems on the plane, elements of qualitative theory of monotone vector fields, and also existence problems for families of long-period and Poisson stable trajectories. In conclusion, we study the possibility of extending the Poincar´e two-dimensional topographical system and the comparison system to the many-dimensional case.  相似文献

We consider relaxations for nonconvex quadratically constrained quadratic programming (QCQP) based on semidefinite programming (SDP) and the reformulation-linearization technique (RLT). From a theoretical standpoint we show that the addition of a semidefiniteness condition removes a substantial portion of the feasible region corresponding to product terms in the RLT relaxation. On test problems we show that the use of SDP and RLT constraints together can produce bounds that are substantially better than either technique used alone. For highly symmetric problems we also consider the effect of symmetry-breaking based on tightened bounds on variables and/or order constraints.  相似文献

In this paper we consider stochastic optimization problems for an ambiguity averse decision maker who is uncertain about the parameters of the underlying process. In a first part we consider problems of optimal stopping under drift ambiguity for one-dimensional diffusion processes. Analogously to the case of ordinary optimal stopping problems for one-dimensional Brownian motions we reduce the problem to the geometric problem of finding the smallest majorant of the reward function in a two-parameter function space. In a second part we solve optimal stopping problems when the underlying process may crash down. These problems are reduced to one optimal stopping problem and one Dynkin game. We consider a nonlocal boundary value problem for the Laplace operator in a circular sector with opposite fluxes on the radii and with zero value of the solution on one of the radii; we also consider the adjoint problem. We prove the unique solvability of these problems and obtain the solution in an explicit form by the spectral method. As a by-product, we study the completeness and the basis property of systems of roots functions for problems of Samarskii-Ionkin type, which may be of interest in itself.  相似文献
