The Ekeland variational principle for Henig proper minimizers and super minimizers

In this paper we consider, for the first time, approximate Henig proper minimizers and approximate super minimizers of a set-valued map F with values in a partially ordered vector space and formulate two versions of the Ekeland variational principle for these points involving coderivatives in the sense of Ioffe, Clarke and Mordukhovich. As applications we obtain sufficient conditions for F to have a Henig proper minimizer or a super minimizer under the Palais-Smale type conditions. The techniques are essentially based on the characterizations of Henig proper efficient points and super efficient points by mean of the Henig dilating cones and the Hiriart-Urruty signed distance function.     

Optimality conditions for Henig and globally proper efficient solutions with ordering cone has empty interior

In this paper, we consider the set-valued vector optimization problems with constraint in locally convex spaces. We present the necessary and sufficient conditions for Henig efficient solution pair, globally proper efficient solution pair and super efficient solution pair without the ordering cones having the nonempty interior.     

Density theorems for generalized Henig proper efficiency

We develop a new, simple technique of proof for density theorems (i.e.,for the sufficient conditions to guarantee that the proper efficient points of a set are dense in the efficient frontier) in an ordered topological vector space. The results are the following: (i) the set of proper efficient points of any compact setQ is dense in the set of efficient points with respect to the original topology of the space whenever the ordering coneK is weakly closed and admits strictly positive functionals; moreover, ifK is not weakly closed, then there exists a compact set for which the density statement fails; (ii) ifQ is weakly compact, then we have only weak density, but ifK has a closed bounded base, then we can assert the density with respect to the original topology, (iii) there exists a similar possibility to assert the strong density for weakly compactQ if additional restrictions are placed onQ instead ofK. These three results are obtained in a unified way as corollaries of the same statement. In this paper, we use the concept of proper efficiency due to Henig. Scalarization of Henig Proper Efficient Points in a Normed Space

In a general normed space equipped with the order induced by a closed convex cone with a base, using a family of continuous monotone Minkowski functionals and a family of continuous norms, we obtain scalar characterizations of Henig proper efficient points of a general set and a bounded set, respectively. Moreover, we give a scalar characterization of a superefficient point of a set in a normed space equipped with the order induced by a closed convex cone with a bounded base.     

Well-posedness and stability in vector optimization problems using Henig proper efficiency

In this article, we study well-posedness and stability aspects for vector optimization in terms of minimizing sequences defined using the notion of Henig proper efficiency. We justify the importance of set convergence in the study of well-posedness of vector problems by establishing characterization of well-posedness in terms of upper Hausdorff convergence of a minimizing sequence of sets to the set of Henig proper efficient solutions. Under certain compactness assumptions, a convex vector optimization problem is shown to be well-posed. Finally, the stability of vector optimization is discussed by considering a perturbed problem with the objective function being continuous. By assuming the upper semicontinuity of certain set-valued maps associated with the perturbed problem, we establish the upper semicontinuity of the solution map.

On the density of proper efficient points

In this paper, our aim is to discuss the density of proper efficient points. As an interesting application of the results in this paper, we want to prove a density theorem of Arrow, Barankin, and Blackwell.

Generalized Higher-Order Optimality Conditions for Set-Valued Optimization under Henig Efficiency

In this paper, generalized mth-order contingent epiderivative and generalized mth-order epiderivative of set-valued maps are introduced, respectively. By virtue of the generalized mth-order epiderivatives, generalized necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are obtained for Henig efficient solutions to a set-valued optimization problem whose constraint set is determined by a fixed set. Generalized Kuhn–Tucker type necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are also obtained for Henig efficient solutions to a set-valued optimization problem whose constraint set is determined by a set-valued map.     

Higher order optimality conditions for Henig efficient solutions in set-valued optimization

In this paper, higher order generalized contingent epiderivative and higher order generalized adjacent epiderivative of set-valued maps are introduced. Necessary and sufficient conditions for Henig efficient solutions to a constrained set-valued optimization problem are given by employing the higher order generalized epiderivatives.     

Convergence Results for Henig Proper Efficient Solution Sets of Vector Optimization Problems

In this article, we discuss the convergence of Henig proper minimal point sets and Henig proper efficient solution sets for (strict) proper quasi-convex vector optimization problems when the data of the perturbed problems converges to the data of the original problem in the sense of Painlevé-Kuratowski. Our main results are new and different from those in the literature.

Existence results for proper efficient solutions of vector equilibrium problems and applications

In this paper, we present sufficient conditions for the existence of Henig efficient solutions, superefficient solutions and Henig globally efficient solutions of a vector equilibrium problem in topological vector spaces, using a well-known separation theorem in infinite dimensional spaces. As an application, using a scalarization technique, existence results for proper efficient solutions of generalized vector variational inequalities are given.     

On Optimality Conditions for Henig Efficiency and Superefficiency in Vector Equilibrium Problems

Abstract

Necessary optimality conditions for local Henig efficient and superefficient solutions of vector equilibrium problems involving equality, inequality, and set constraints in Banach space with locally Lipschitz functions are established under a suitable constraint qualification via the Michel–Penot subdifferentials. With assumptions on generalized convexity, necessary conditions for Henig efficiency and superefficiency become sufficient ones. Some applications to vector variational inequalities and vector optimization problems are given as well.     

Henig proper generalized vector quasiequilibrium problems

In this paper, we give sufficient conditions for the existence of a Henig proper efficient solution of a general model in the theory of set-valued vector quasiequilibrium problems with moving cones. The main result of this paper is new, and is established under assumptions of existence of open lower sections and some properties of cone-semicontinuity and cone-concavity of set-valued maps. The moving cones are assumed to have bases which are Hausdorff lower semicontinuous and satisfy an additional suitable property.     

On Higher-Order Sensitivity Analysis of Parametric Henig Set-Valued Equilibrium Problems

Abstract

In the article, we discuss sensitivity analysis of a parametric Henig set-valued equilibrium problem. In detail, relationships between the higher-order contingent derivative of the solution map of this problem and those of objective and constraint maps are established. Finally, applications to parametric set-valued optimization problems are given.
