We are concerned with the existence of the quasi-periodic solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger(NLS) equation + (-△ + Mσ)u + ε|u|2u = 0, x ∈Td where △ is the d-Laplace and Mσ is a Fourier multiplier, i.e.,Mσe -1<,x> = σne -1<,x>, σn ∈ R. Regarding (1) as a Hamiltonian system and using the well-known infinite dimensional KAM theorem developed by them, Kuksin and Poschel[4] showed that there are invariant tori (thus quasi-periodic solutions) for Eq.(1) subject to Dirichlet boundary with d = 1.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the higher dimensional nonlinear beam equation:utt + △2u + σu + f(u)=0 with periodic boundary conditions, where the nonlinearity f(u) is a real-analytic function of the form f(u)=u3+ h.o.t near u=0 and σ is a positive constant. It is proved that for any fixed σ>0, the above equation admits a family of small-amplitude, linearly stable quasi-periodic solutions corresponding to finite dimensional invariant tori of an associated infinite dimensional dynamical system.  相似文献

This paper deals with the existence of solutions to the elliptic equation -△uμu/|x|2=λu |u|2*-2u f(x, u) in Ω, u = 0 on ( a)Ω, where Ω is a bounded domain in RN(N≥3),0∈Ω,2*=2N/N-2,λ>0,λ(a)σμ, σμ is the spectrum of the operator -△- μI/|x|2with zero Dirichlet boundary condition, 0 <μ<-μ,-μ=(N-2)2/4,f(x,u) is an asymmetric lower order perturbation of |u|2*-1 at infinity. Using the dual variational methods, the existence of nontrivial solutions is proved.  相似文献

A subgroup H of G is said to be: σ-permutable or σ-quasinormal in G if G possesses a complete Hall σ-set H such that HA~x= A~xH for all A ∈ H and x ∈ G:σ-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain A = A_0≤A_1≤···≤ A_t = G such that either A_(i-1)■A_i or A_i/(A_(i-1))A_i is a finite σ_i-group for some σ_i ∈σ for all i = 1,..., t.If M_n M_(n-1) ··· M_1 M_0 = G, where Mi is a maximal subgroup of M_(i-1), i = 1, 2,..., n, then M_n is said to be an n-maximal subgroup of G. If each n-maximal subgroup of G is σ-subnormal(σ-quasinormal,respectively) in G but, in the case n 1, some(n-1)-maximal subgroup is not σ-subnormal(not σ-quasinormal,respectively) in G, we write m_σ(G) = n(m_(σq)(G) = n, respectively).In this paper, we show that the parameters m_σ(G) and m_(σq)(G) make possible to bound the σ-nilpotent length l_σ(G)(see below the definitions of the terms employed), the rank r(G) and the number |π(G)| of all distinct primes dividing the order |G| of a finite soluble group G. We also give the conditions under which a finite group is σ-soluble or σ-nilpotent, and describe the structure of a finite soluble group G in the case when m_σ(G) = |π(G)|. This paper is concerned with one-dimensional derivative quintic nonlinear Schrodinger equation,iut—uxx+i(|u|4u)x=0,x eT.The existence of a large amount of quasi-periodic solutions with two frequencies for this equation is established.The proof is based on partial Birkhoff normal form technique and an unbounded KAM theorem.We mention that in the present paper the mean value of u does not need to be zero,but small enough,which is different from the assumption(1.7)in Geng-Wu[J.Math.Phys.、53,102702(2012)].  相似文献

Let △n be the ball |x| 1 in the complex vector space C n , let f :△n→ C n be a holomorphic mapping and let M be a positive integer. Assume that the origin 0 = (0, . . . , 0) is an isolated fixed point of both f and the M-th iteration f M of f. Then the (local) Dold index P M (f, 0) at the origin is well defined, which can be interpreted to be the number of virtual periodic points of period M of f hidden at the origin: any holomorphic mapping f 1 :△n→ C n sufficiently close to f has exactly P M (f, 0) distinct periodic points of period M near the origin, provided that all the fixed points of f M 1 near the origin are simple. Therefore, the number O M (f, 0) = P M (f, 0)/M can be understood to be the number of virtual periodic orbits of period M hidden at the fixed point. According to the works of Shub-Sullivan and Chow-Mallet-Paret-Yorke, a necessary condition so that there exists at least one virtual periodic orbit of period M hidden at the fixed point, i.e., O M (f, 0)≥1, is that the linear part of f at the origin has a periodic point of period M. It is proved by the author recently that the converse holds true. In this paper, we will study the condition for the linear part of f at 0 so that O M (f, 0)≥2. For a 2 × 2 matrix A that is arbitrarily given, the goal of this paper is to give a necessary and sufficient condition for A, such that O M (f, 0)≥2 for all holomorphic mappings f :△2 → C 2 such that f(0) = 0, Df(0) = A and that the origin 0 is an isolated fixed point of f M .  相似文献

The nonlinear viscoelastic wave equation |ut|ρ utt u utt + t 0 g(t s) u(s)ds + |u|p u = 0,in a bounded domain with initial conditions and Dirichlet boundary conditions is considered.We prove that,for a class of kernels g which is singular at zero,the exponential decay rate of the solution energy.The result is obtained by introducing an appropriate Lyapounov functional and using energy method similar to the work of Tatar in 2009.This work improves earlier results.  相似文献

We prove that for each f ∈ C(n)(I), there is a selection of coefficients {a1, ,an} and a corresponding linear combination Sn( f ,t) = n ∑ k=1 bkeλkt of functions ψk(t) = eλkt in the nullity of L which satisfies the following Jackson’s type inequality: f (m) Sn(m )( f ,t) ∞≤ |an|2n|Im|1/1q/ep|λ|λn|n|I||nm1 Ln( f ) p, where |λn| = mka x|λk|, 0 ≤ m ≤ n 1, p,q ≥ 1, and 1p + q1 = 1. For the particular operator Mn(f) = f + 1/(2n) f(2n) the rate of approximation by the eigenvalues of Mn for non-periodic analytic functions on intervals of restricted length is established to be exponential. This article considers the equation △2u = f(x, u)with boundary conditions either u|(a)Ω = (a)u/(a)n|(a)Ω = 0 or u|(a)Ω = △u|(a)Ω = 0, where f(x,t) is asymptotically linear with respect to t at infinity, and Ω is a smooth bounded domain in RN, N > 4. By a variant version of Mountain Pass Theorem, it is proved that the above problems have a nontrivial solution under suitable assumptions of f(x, t).  相似文献

Given a domain Ω ? R~n, let λ 0 be an eigenvalue of the elliptic operator L :=Σ!(i,j)~n =1?/?xi(a~(ij0 ?/?xj) on Ω for Dirichlet condition. For a function f ∈ L~2(Ω), it is known that the linear resonance equation Lu + λu = f in Ω with Dirichlet boundary condition is not always solvable.We give a new boundary condition P_λ(u|? Ω) = g, called to be pro jective Dirichlet condition, such that the linear resonance equation always admits a unique solution u being orthogonal to all of the eigenfunctions corresponding to λ which satisfies ||u||2,2 ≤ C(||f ||_2 +|| g||_(2,2)) under suitable regularity assumptions on ?Ω and L, where C is a constant depends only on n, Ω, and L. More a priori estimates,such as W~(2,p)-estimates and the C~(2,α)-estimates etc., are given also. This boundary condition can be viewed as a generalization of the Dirichlet condition to resonance equations and shows its advantage when applying to nonlinear resonance equations. In particular, this enables us to find the new indicatrices with vanishing mean(Cartan) torsion in Minkowski geometry. It is known that the geometry of indicatries is the foundation of Finsler geometry.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the solitary wave solutions for the delayed coupled Higgs field equation{vtt-uxx-αu+βf*u|u|2-2uv-τu(|u|2)x=0 vtt+vxx-β(|u|x)xx=0.We first establish the existence of solitary wave solutions for the corresponding equation without delay and perturbation by using the Hamiltonian system method.Then we consider the persistence of solitary wave solutions of the delayed coupled Higgs field equation by using the method of dynamical system,especially the geometric singular perturbation theory,invariant manifold theory and Fredholm theory.According to the relationship between solitary wave and homoclinic orbit,the coupled Higgs field equation is transformed into the ordinary differential equations with fast variables by using the variable substitution.It is proved that the equations with perturbation also possess homoclinic orbit,and thus we obtain the existence of solitary wave solutions of the delayed coupled Higgs field equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the problem concerning global and local structure of solutions of an operator equation posed by M. S. Berger. Let f : U 真包含 E → F be a C1 map, where E and F are Banach spaces and U is open in E. We show that the solution set of the equation f(x) = y for a fixed generalized regular value y of f is represented as a union of disjoint connected C1 Banach submanifolds of U, each of which has a dimension and its tangent space is given. In particular, a characterization of the isolated solutions of the equation f(x) = y is obtained.  相似文献

This article is concerned with the global existence and large time behavior of solutions to the Cauchy problem for a parabolic-elliptic system related to the Camassa-Holm shallow water equation with the initial data u(0,x) = u0(x)→±, as x→±∞. (Ⅰ) Here, u- < u+ are two constants and f(u) is a sufficiently smooth function satisfying f"(u) > 0 for all u under consideration. Main aim of this article is to study the relation between solutions to the above Cauchy problem and those to the Riemann problem of the following nonlinear conservation law It is well known that if u- < u+, the above Riemann problem admits a unique global entropy solution uR(x/t) Let U(t, x) be the smooth approximation of the rarefaction wave profile constructed similar to that of [21, 22, 23], we show that if u<,0>(x) - U(0,x) ∈H1(R) and u- < u+, the above Cauchy problem (E) and (I) admits a unique global classical solution u(t, x) which tends to the rarefaction wave uR(x/t) as t→+∞ in the maximum norm. Consider the initial boundary value problem of the strong degenerate parabolic equation ?_(xx)u + u?_yu-?_tu = f(x, y, t, u),(x, y, t) ∈ Q_T = Ω×(0, T)with a homogeneous boundary condition. By introducing a new kind of entropy solution, according to Oleinik rules, the partial boundary condition is given to assure the well-posedness of the problem. By the parabolic regularization method, the uniform estimate of the gradient is obtained, and by using Kolmogoroff 's theorem, the solvability of the equation is obtained in BV(Q_T) sense. This paper is concerned with multivariate refinement equations of the type where (?) is the unknown function defined on the s-dimensional Euclidean space Rs, a is a finitely supported nonnegative sequence on Zs, and M is an s×s dilation matrix with m := |detM|. We characterize the existence of L2-solution of refinement equation in terms of spectral radius of a certain finite matrix or transition operator associated with refinement mask a and dilation matrix M. This paper studies the positive solutions of the nonlinear second-order periodic boundary value problem u″(t) + λ(t)u(t) = f(t,u(t)),a.e.t ∈ [0,2π],u(0) = u(2π),u′(0) = u′(2π),where f(t,u) is a local Carath′eodory function.This shows that the problem is singular with respect to both the time variable t and space variable u.By applying the Leggett–Williams and Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorems on cones,an existence theorem of triple positive solutions is established.In order to use these theorems,the exact a priori estimations for the bound of solution are given,and some proper height functions are introduced by the estimations.  相似文献

In this article, we study the multiplicity and concentration behavior of positive solutions for the p-Laplacian equation of Schrdinger-Kirchhoff type -εpMεp_N∫RN|▽u|p△pu+V(x)|u|p-2u=f(u) in R~N, where △_p is the p-Laplacian operator, 1 p N, M :R~+→R~+ and V :R~N→R~+are continuous functions,ε is a positive parameter, and f is a continuous function with subcritical growth. We assume that V satisfies the local condition introduced by M. del Pino and P. Felmer. This paper deals with the electrostatic MEMS-device parabolic equation u_t-?u =λf(x)/(1-u)~p in a bounded domain ? of R~N,with Dirichlet boundary condition,an initial condition u0(x) ∈ [0,1) and a nonnegative profile f,where λ 0,p 1.The study is motivated by a simplified micro-electromechanical system(MEMS for short) device model.In this paper,the author first gives an asymptotic behavior of the quenching time T*for the solution u to the parabolic problem with zero initial data.Secondly,the author investigates when the solution u will quench,with general λ,u0(x).Finally,a global existence in the MEMS modeling is shown.  相似文献
